In the Pacific Northwest of North America, a Quetzalcoatlus is soaring above the valley during a rainstorm when it spots an unguarded Tyrannosaurus rex nest. The pterosaur flies down and consumes several of the hatchlings. Meanwhile, the father Tyrannosaurus is hunting for prey in the forest when his acute sense of smell alerts him to the intruder at the nest and runs back towards the nest. The Quetzalcoatlus is forced to flee when the enraged father Tyrannosaurus arrives, trying to fly off but its huge wings prevent it from flying in the thick forest.

The swan has only one way to fly while the crow boasts of a hundred and one. The crow, however, gets himself into trouble with his displays of aerobatics when he ends up far out over the ocean, unable to find a place to land. The swan flies down to the crow who, exhausted, is now beginning to trail his wings and beak in the sea. "Which of the hundred and one ways of flying is this?" asks the swan, before carrying him, suitably humbled, back to safety.

Nix Uotan, the Monitor of Earth-51 and sole survivor of the cataclysm, cries as he finds a sapling emerging from scorched ground.

This allows for Krish and Ananya to finally get married, with Krish and his Punjabi family traveling by train to Chennai for the wedding. His father initially says that he will not attend the wedding to prevent any further embarrassment, but at the last minute, he flies down to Chennai with Krish seeing his rental car outside of the hotel, and to the surprise of his mother, announcing that his father has come to the wedding during an argument with the priests due to the absence of the father. Krish's father apologizes to his mother for his abusive behavior over the years. After getting married, Ananya gives birth to twin boys.

Nathan flies down in between them at that moment and agrees with his daughter. Liam and Steffy are staying at the same resort also, and once Liam finds out, he goes after Thomas and Hope on a ATV chase, chasing Hope. Then Steffy gets her own ATV & goes after Liam and is injured after falling off her ATV while trying to get to Liam. She ends up in the hospital and everyone flies down and Bill decides to manipulate the situation because he knows that Liam is still in love with Hope and is about to leave Steffy to be with the woman he loves. Bill wants to keep Steffy near and perpetuates a lie about Steffy's health.

To circumvent the transonic problems encountered by spin-stabilized projectiles, projectiles can theoretically be guided during flight. The Sandia National Laboratories announced in January 2012 it has researched and test-fired 4-inch (102 mm) long prototype dart-like, self-guided bullets for small-caliber, smooth-bore firearms that could hit laser-designated targets at distances of more than a mile (about 1,610 meters or 1760 yards). These projectiles are not spin stabilized and the flight path can steered within limits with an electromagnetic actuator 30 times per second. The researchers also claim they have video of the bullet radically pitching as it exits the barrel and pitching less as it flies down range, a disputed phenomenon known to long- range firearms experts as “going to sleep”.

In an adaptation of the 1913 play Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw, Professor Richmond (Harry Holman), certain that environment and not heredity dictates social behavior, bets one of his peers, Professor Nichols (Robert Graves) $10,000 that he can take a common man and through environment and proper training turn him into a gentleman. Professor Richmond responds that there are always one or two exceptions to every rule, but agrees on a wager for Professor Nichols to train three common people to become gentlemen. Naturally, the Stooges, who are garbage men, are discovered and made the subjects of the wager. After many attempts to teach them proper etiquette (including a dance class punctuated by an errant bee that flies down the back of their female dance instructor), the Stooges will decide the wager by their behavior at a fancy society party given by Richmond.

At a tumultuous public meeting in which Challenger experiences further ridicule (most notably from a professional rival, Professor Summerlee), Malone volunteers for an expedition to verify the discoveries. His companions are to be Professor Summerlee, and Lord John Roxton, an adventurer who helped end slavery on the Amazon; the notches on his rifle showing how many slavers he killed doing so. Running the gauntlet of hostile tribes, the expedition finally reaches the lost world with the aid of Indian guides, who are superstitiously scared of the area. Summerlee retains his scepticism – although being delighted at making other scientific discoveries in the field of botany and entomology: even a glimpse of a pterodactyl at a distance fails to convince him, believing it is some species of stork (the sharper-eyed Roxton is inclined to agree it is not a stork but has no clue what it really is), until a night-time encounter when it flies down and is seen by all at close range, as it steals the companions' dinner.
