Fit to Be Tied is a compilation CD released by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. The collection was released in the United States in 1997. It was remastered and reissued in 2001 with slightly different artwork. Rather than secure the rights to the original versions of "I Hate Myself for Loving You" and "Little Liar" from CBS, Jett's label included a demo version and live recording of those songs, respectively.

This nameless mouse-sized bulldog, designed similarly to Spike the Bulldog, is Jerry's pet dog companion in only two shorts: The Cat's Me-Ouch (1965) and Purr-Chance to Dream (1967). His role is similar to Spike in cartoons such as The Bodyguard (1944), Fit To Be Tied (1952), and Much Ado About Mousing (1964), which is to defend Jerry against Tom. He is presumably the oldest son of Spike before Tyke, and this could be identified by his looks and personality that is similar to his father Spike. Unlike Spike and Tyke he has a big bite (similar to those of Looney Tunes Tasmanian Devil).

In his first appearance, Dog Trouble, Spike is the main antagonist, chasing and attacking both Tom and Jerry on sight, even trying to eat Jerry, which forced the two to work together to defeat him. However, in his next appearance The Bodyguard, after Jerry willingly saved him from being poached, he became Jerry's protector whenever needed. In all subsequent shorts, Spike becomes typecast as the stereotypical dumb brute who is always duped into becoming a shield for Jerry from Tom. It is only in two episodes where Jerry gets Spike out of a jam and the dog willingly protects him from Tom in well-earned gratitude (The Bodyguard and Fit to Be Tied).

However, David Grad of Entertainment Weekly gave the album a "B" and called it "a sadly incomplete career retrospective" marred by "extraneous studio outtakes and a live track". Carla Spartos in The Rolling Stone Album Guide gave it three-and- a-half out of five stars.

In 1992, she wrote, produced and directed the feature film Blackout, which featured a soundtrack by the then unknown British dance music artist Jake Williams. Several of these films featured luminaries from the 1970s New York theatre and art scene such as Ultra Violet, and proponents of the London alternative scene including Eddie Tudor-Pole, the artist Duggie Fields and the jewellery designer Andrew Logan.
