From 12 to 16 October 1944, during the final days of the Liberation of Belgrade, the upper section of the temple was demolished due to the fightings in its vicinity. Since there were no believers left, nor the religious artifacts, new Communist government didn’t consider it to be the temple anymore. Post Emergency, Kailash Joshi was made the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and Sakhalecha became number two in the government but in January 1978, Sakhalecha became Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.MP CM race In January 1980, Jana Sangh removed Sakhalecha and replaced Sundar Lal Patwa as Chief Minister which lasted for 28 days as Indira Gandhi returned to the center and sacked the Patwa government in Madhya Pradesh. Due to in-fightings with Patwa, Sakhlecha left the newly formed version of Jana Sangh called Bharatiya Janata Party, Sakhalecha formed his own party called Madhya Pradesh Janata Party. He lost 1985 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly election to Chunnilal Dhakad of Indian National Congress.

It commemorated Lamartine's stay in the Kontumac in 1833, during his travels to the East which he published in 1835 as the "Voyage en Orient". In 1946, two Partisan monuments were erected, commemorating the fightings with the German occupational forces during the World War II: the "Bombard" (by Vanja Radauš) and the "Hostage" (by Boris Kalin). In front of the Orthodox church, there is a monument named "Hačkar", a gift from the people of Armenia to the people of Yugoslavia after the help from the Yugoslav pilots during the aftermath of the disastrous 1988 Armenian earthquake, which struck on 7 December 1988. In 2004, a bust of poet Branko Radičević was dedicated.

The square was named in honor of Red Army guards who liberated Rostov-on-Don from Nazi occupation in 1943. At the center of the square there is a T-34 tank monument erected in honor of soldiers of the 3rd Guards Tank Corps, the 2nd Guards and 5th Guards Zimovnikovsky Mechanized Corps, the 6th Guards Tank Brigade, and the 34th Guards Rifle Division that liberated the city Rostov-on- Don from the Nazi invaders on February 14, 1943. The monument was opened in November 1967, it was built on project of architects G.A. Grigoriev and N.N. Nersesyants. On pedestal was installed a real combat vehicle which took part in fightings as part of Northern Group of Forces deployed in Poland (the former 6th Tank Brigade).

Shortly after the end of the Spanish Civil War Prats began his career as assistant on Radio Algeciras, later he moved to Málaga where he worked as announcer of bullfights on RNE and shortly after as football announcer. In 1945 he returned to Madrid following the inauguration of the new RNE studios in Arganda del Rey. In 1947 he was promoted to head of the Department of Performing Stations and from the same year until 1971 he was responsible of the writing and speeching of the Noticiarios y Documentales Cinematográficos (No-Do). He also worked in Televisión Española since its inception in 1956 until 1965 as announcer of football matches and bull fightings, credits on TVE include Pantalla deportiva (1959), La Copa (1963), Graderío (1963) and Ayer domingo (1965).

After recovering from wounds in 1943, he was sent to the 500th separate machine-gun and artillery battalion, where he continued to fight until the end of the war. During the Battle of the Korsun–Cherkassy Pocket, he distinguished himself in the fightings near the village of Shenderovka on 1—12 February 1944. For timely assistance to the wounded and establishemt of a stronghold of defense which helped to stop the advance of Germa troops he was awarded the Order of the Red Star. Historically part of Tuscany, it was annexed to the Province of Forlì in the region of Emilia-Romagna in 1923, since dictator Benito Mussolini wanted the source of the River Tiber, which is located nearby, to be included within his native province. During the Second World War, in 1943 the town was occupied by the German army, and found itself on the hot border (Gothic Line) between the fascist Republic of Salò and the part of Italy occupied by the British Army, which liberated Bagno di Romagna in September 1944. The multi-ethnic Commonwealth troops (e.g. British, Polish, and Indian) were joyfully welcomed by the population, who had suffered one year of dire straits, and had witnessed brutal fightings between partisans on the one side, and Nazi occupiers on the other.

The male warrior hypothesis predicts that because males may have historically remained in the groups in which they were born rather than moving away at adulthood (see patrilocality), they have a higher overall relatedness to their group than the female members, who would have moved to their new husbands’ group upon marriage. Males may have a stronger interest in defending their group, and will be more likely to act aggressively towards outgroup males they encounter who may be attempting to steal resources or weaken the group with violence. For men at risk of never finding a mate, the fitness benefit to engaging in aggressive, violent behavior could outweigh the potential costs of fightings, especially if fighting alongside a coalition. Furthermore, the groups with more individuals who formed coalitions and acted altruistically to in-group members but aggressively to outgroup members would prosper (see multi-level selection).

DTC -Yukemuri Junjou Hen- from High&Low; (Japanese: DTC -湯けむり純情篇- from HiGH&LOW;, 湯けむり純情篇 means Episode Pure Love in Hot Spring) is a 2018 Japanese Drama directed by Norihisa Hiranuma. It's a spin-off of the High&Low; series, following the story of High&Low; The Movie 3 / Final Mission, it tells the story of how Sannoh Rengokai (Hoodlum Squad)'s members Dan, Tettsu and Chiharu, the so-called "DTC", spend their time after the fatal war with Kuryu Group. Though the High&Low; series have been famous for its action scenes, the film is consist of " 0% of fightings, 80% of laugh and 20% of moving scenes " as a road movie, and the DTC gets to lead the film this time. DTC -Yukemuri Junjou Hen- from High&Low; is starred by Kenjiro Yamashita, Kanta Sato, Taiki Sato as Dan, Tettsu and Chiharu, respectively, with Taro Suruga, Yuko Fueki, and Miu Arai joining the cast.

In 11-day fightings from May 20 division captured Šavnik.
