If the player fails to catch it with their first Pokéball, they can spend coins to use Great Balls with a doubled chance of success, or retry the stage at a later date. Defeating Pokémon trainers earns Mega Stones, which allow certain Pokémon (if they have been successfully caught) to undergo Mega Evolution once a player has matched enough of them during a stage, granting bonus effects when matched.

The next day, Peter celebrates getting his fingers reattached by going to The Drunken Clam with Cleveland, Joe and Quagmire, and they decide to continue their celebrations at Pawtucket Brewery after the bar closes. Peter is behind on his work at the brewery, as he is unable to type due to his hand injury, and Angela threatens him with the prospect of being fired if he fails to catch up, so he asks Lois to help him. When Lois agrees to help Peter catch up with his work, Peter attempts to seduce her numerous times. Later at the brewery, after a final attempt to seduce Lois in his office, she gives in and they have sex in front of their co-worker Opie, who runs away screaming.

Bolter aircraft accelerate at full throttle and become airborne in order to go-around and re-attempt the landing. Prior to the development of the angled flight deck, aircraft carrier landing areas ran along the axis of the ship. If an aircraft failed to catch an arrestor cable on the aft (rear) of the ship, it would still need to be stopped prior to hitting aircraft spotted (parked or taxiing) on the forward half of the deck.

Rapid Rabbit, a small brown rabbit (who's not to be confused with Rapid T. Rabbit), is every bit as fast as his name implies; a pantomime character, he never says a word, but uses a bicycle horn to express himself. He is inspired by the Road Runner, a famed Looney Tunes character created by Chuck Jones. Quick Brown Fox, another pantomime character, is a fox who wants to eat the fast-running rabbit, but consistently fails to catch him despite using a variety of traps and devices. The fox's name is derived from the popular pangram, "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog." He is inspired by Wile E. Coyote, another Looney Tunes character who is the aforementioned Road Runner’s co-star; also created by Chuck Jones.

While the Entity tries to familiarize itself with Alec Holland, Captain Boomerang arrives to take part in his labor; it is revealed that Captain Boomerang's mission was to free Hawk as an Avatar of War from the Lords of Chaos, because his act of saving Dove would have broken their hold on him to be his own self. However, he fails to catch the boomerang he threw and instead it is caught by Boston Brand. Because of this, Boston Brand dies and uses his final act to transfer his white power ring to Alec Holland and bring him back to life, allowing him to become the new Swamp Thing and cleanse "the Green" from Nekron's influence by destroying the corrupted Swamp Thing. As Swamp Thing, Alec Holland restores life to natural areas around the world and declares that those who hurt "the Green" will face his wrath.

There are 120 levels to play. Certain balloons also have certain properties, such as concealing a smaller balloon that must also be destroyed, containing candy that can be caught for bonus points and/or trash that deducts points, or being able to respawn after a certain amount of time. Players can earn more points by having Pep pop multiple balloons without coming back to Putt-Putt to create combos, pop question mark-shaped balloons to obtain power-ups and even destroy a passing small flying saucer to enter a bonus round on the moon where balloons are replaced with saucers. If Putt-Putt fails to catch Pep, one life is lost, and running out of lives results in the current score being reset to zero, although it is possible to turn on "Junior Helpers" that grant unlimited lives or make it easier to catch Pep.

Sheev Palpatine (voiced by Sam Witwer in the 'original' airing of Season two) / (Ian McDiarmid in Season four and then Season two as of 2019) is the Emperor of the Galactic Empire and Darth Vader's Sith Master Darth Sidious, having orchestrated his rise to power as Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic along with engineering the Clone War and the removal of the Jedi Order once the war ends and he restructures the Republic into the Empire. After learning from Vader that Ahsoka Tano is among the rebel forces, Palpatine orders Vader to capture her as she may know the whereabouts of surviving Jedi while sending an Inquisitor after the Rebels. In "A World Between Worlds", he attempts to use Ezra to access the world between worlds to manipulate the Galaxy's timeline to his design. But he fails to catch Ezra as he closes the gateway.

He intercepts a drug shipment and informs his childhood friend and love interest, Rachel Dawes, providing her with enough evidence to enlist Sergeant James Gordon, one of Gotham's few honest cops, to arrest Falcone. Later, Bruce is informed by Lucius of the theft of a microwave emitter from Wayne Enterprises and pursues the robbers in the Tumbler, but fails to catch them due to using a decoy. Meanwhile, looking to learn more about the drug shipment and Falcone's associates, Batman tracks down Gordon's crooked partner, Arnold Flass, and intimidates him under the threat of leaving him to be murdered by Victor Zsasz, a psychotic serial killer and one of Falcone's enforcers, whom Flass was interrogating for information on Falcone's new 'partner'. Flass reveals that Falcone was also shipping some chemicals to Arkham Asylum psychiatrist Jonathan Crane, which he used to create large quantities of his signature fear gas, and informs Batman of the shipment's location.
