First indications of the seriousness of his illness came at the annual meeting of Ansett Transport Industries Ltd in November when, for the first time in 44 years, he failed to attend and his chair man's address. Attendance officers often visited the homes of children who failed to attend school, which often proved to be ineffective. Children who were employed were required to have a certificate to show they had reached the educational standard. Employers of these children who were unable to show this were penalised. The 1891 Elementary Education Act provided for the state payment of school fees up to ten shillings per head, making primary education effectively free.

On 28 and 30 March 2017 the NASUWT teachers union began 14 days of discontinuous strike action. NASUWT representatives said the strike action was due to "unacceptable management practices by the employer toward teachers taking part in an ongoing national dispute over excessive workload". Brecks owner, Aaron Hertzman, sent a $25 franchise fee to the NFL on February 21, 1921. The Official NFL Encyclopedia confirms that although officials from Louisville failed to attend the April 1921 league meeting, the NFL did receive a letter requesting a franchise from the Breckenridges. The Las Vegas Aces were a team in the modern American Basketball Association in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were originally based in Orlando, Florida and began play as the Orlando Aces in the Florida Division of the Blue Conference in the 2006-2007 season. They moved to Las Vegas, Nevada on March 14, 2008, after teams in the Blue Conference Florida Division failed to attend scheduled games forcing the Aces to exit the season early. Renamed the Las Vegas Aces, the team remained in good standing in the ABA.

In February 1906 liquidators were appointed to Mayfair Printing & Publishing Limited. Horner claimed to have resigned as a director of the company some time before, but it became clear that he had made a number of financial transactions on behalf of the company for which no proper accounts had been made. Patrick Dennehy was a junior forward who transferred to Baylor University following his sophomore season at the University of New Mexico (UNM) in 2001-2002. Most occurred in the south-west of Scotland, an area particularly strong in its Covenanting sympathies; the practice of holding conventicles outside the formal structure continued, often attracting thousands of worshippers. After 2 seasons he settled in one club and played in Asian Champions League also played 26 games in 2008–9 season for Saipa.Then he joined Steel Azin and spent two seasons before joining Rah Ahan in 2011 where he joined his beloved coach Ali Daei where they fall apart after Kaebi failed to attend few training sessions on time and he decided to leave and move to Sanat Naft in January 2013 where he stayed for half a season and 6 months before joining Esteghlal Khuzestan for 2013–14 season. Ensuring that the children of poorer families attended school proved difficult, as it was more tempting to send them working if the opportunity to earn an extra income was available. Attendance Officers could visit the homes of children who failed to attend school, but this often proved to be ineffective. Children under the age of 13 who were employed were required to have a certificate to show they had reached the educational standard; employers of these children who weren't able to show this were penalised. On 23 March the National Executive Committee of the Labour Party rejected her appeal.BBC News 23 March 2010 On 25 March it emerged that she had negotiated a retirement deal as an MP on the grounds of poor health.
Eighteen teams were invited to take part in the race. Eight of these were UCI WorldTeams; eight were UCI Professional Continental teams; two were UCI Continental teams. In 1848, Powell was again in trouble when a warrant was issued for his arrest for obtaining money with false cheques. He was released on bail and ordered to appear the next day in court. When he failed to attend, his solicitor informed the court that he was in an asylum, certified insane. The case was adjourned for two weeks, during which time the police discovered evidence of further fraud. Cowley's book Leaves from a Lawyers Life Afloat and Ashore includes a reference to a promise he made to his friend James Redpath to speak at a cemetery dedication ceremony organized by Redpath on May 1, 1865. The King of Fighters '95 marks the beginning of a story arc that later became known as the "Orochi Saga". However, the only elements from the Orochi Saga known in this game is the introduction of Kyo's rival, Iori Yagami, and Rugal's use of the Orochi power. Because of this I recommend that he be placed under suspension".

The first definite mention of cricket in Sussex was in 1611 and relates to ecclesiastical court records stating that two parishioners of Sidlesham had failed to attend church on Easter Sunday because they were playing cricket.
