Topping the hipped roof is a circular limestone cupola with Tuscan columns and copper roof with a brass finial.
The principal streams are the Chazy, Saranac, and Ausable rivers, and Wood Creek. Deep strata of Tertiary clay extend along the shores of Lake Champlain and Wood Creek. The water of most of the streams in this region is colored by the iron over which it flows. Susquehanna River watershed The second general division of the river system of the state includes the basins of the Allegheny, Susquehanna, Delaware, and Hudson.
This set of two parallel faults extend along the axis of the Western Ranges of the Colombian Andes, close to the valleys of the Anacosca and Penderisco Rivers, and the plateau of the Frontino Páramo. Located to the west of the city of Medellín, the faults mainly displace Tertiary sedimentary rocks. The west branch of the fault has mainly normal slip as observed from offset alluvial terraces. The fault forms spectacular fault scarps on terraces.
The latest, south-eastern extension of the neighborhood. From Koste Nadja Street and along Samuel Beckett and Mikhail Bulgakov Streets, this is the largest of the Mirijevo neighborhoods. One of the largest schools in Belgrade and Serbia, Pavle Savic Elementary School is also located there. The newest parts of the neighborhood extend along the 1,1 kilometer long road connecting Mirijevo to the Smederevski put, a road connecting Belgrade and Smederevo via Belgrade's suburb of Grocka.
Cultivated Cucurbita species were derived from the first group. Chubut stretches from the Atlantic to the Andes with 3 distinct environmental regions: The Andes, the central plains and the coastal regions. The Andes in the westernmost parts of the province mostly extend along the Chilean border. The Andes are not that high in Chubut, with most peaks averaging around , which becomes smaller in altitude in the southern parts. The highest peak is Cerro Dos Picos, located east of Lago Cholila with a height of .
The ecoregion is on the eastern slopes of the central Andes. The forests cover an almost continuous band about long but sometimes no more than wide due to the limited area of the slopes with suitable elevations. They extend along the southern part of the Cordillera Oriental of Colombia, the eastern part of the Cordillera Real of Ecuador and the northern part of the Andes of Peru. The ecoregion has an area of .
The Elm Street Historic District is located on the southwest of Hartford's downtown. It is bounded on the north by Bushnell Park and the west by the grounds of the state capitol complex. Its buildings extend along Capitol Avenue and the south side of Elm Street between Trinity Street and Pulaski Circle, and along Trinity from Elm to Buckingham Street. It is about in size, and originally included fourteen historically significant buildings.
The National Farmers' Bank of Owatonna, Minnesota, United States, is a historic bank building designed by Louis Sullivan, with decorative elements by George Elmslie. It was built in 1908, and was the first of Sullivan's "jewel box" bank designs. The building is clad in red brick with green terra cotta bands, and features two large arches on its street-facing facades. Single- story wings, originally housing bank offices, extend along each side.
Most settlements in the village extend along Main Road and Quarry Lane. There is another minor road (Derby Lane) that connects to neighbouring Shackerstone. The village is served by an ADSL enabled telephone exchange that is capable of providing broadband access to the internet at speeds of 2 Mbit/s. Refuse and recycling collections take place on a bi-weekly rota and a mobile public library makes regular stops in the village on alternate Friday's.

Simpson noted similarities between Abergeldie and the Castle of Balfluig at Alford, suggesting that they may have shared a designer. The estate grounds extend along Deeside, and consist of 11,700 acres planted with Scotch pine, larch, and birch, mixed in the private grounds with spruce, ash, plane, and sycamore.
Cistanthe monandra is a fleshy, flat annual herb producing short stems which extend along the ground or spread upright from a small taproot. Thick, spoon-shaped leaves occur in a basal rosette at the base of the stem, reaching up to about 5 cm in length. There are smaller leaves along the stems. Small inflorescences sprout from the stem bearing many flowers, each with fleshy, triangular sepals and three pink or red petals only a few millimeters long.

The city is further intersected by numerous small canals with tree-bordered quays. On the west side of the city, the Hortus Botanicus and other gardens extend along the old Singel, or outer canal. The Leidse Hout park, which contains a small deer park, lies on the northwest border with Oegstgeest.
Ranunculus gormanii is a species of buttercup known by the common name Gorman's buttercup. It is native to Oregon and northern California, where it grows in the Klamath Mountains and a section of the southern Cascade Range. It can be found in moist areas in mountain forests and meadows. It is a perennial herb producing prostrate stems which extend along the ground up to 20 centimeters in length, sometimes rooting at nodes that come in contact with wet substrate.
Cabbage trees surround a Futuro house in Warrington, Otago In Otago, cabbage trees gradually become less common towards the south until they come to an end in the northern Catlins. They reappear on the south coast at Waikawa, Southland, but they are not the wharanui type. Rather they are vigorous trees with broad, green leaves and broad canopies. They extend along the coast towards Fiordland, and inland to the margins of some of the glacier-fed lakes.
The resulting gap is filled in with glass, which including the skylight, allows a large amount of natural light. Colonnades of red sandstone flank both sides of waiting room, and extend along its entire length, protruding outside the west entrance. It is reminiscent of the long arcades used in late 19th and early 20th century station designs, such as the Bakersfield Southern Pacific Station. The east side, which contains offices and baggage room, is much simpler.

The Lazarev Mountains () are a chain of mountains in Antarctica. They extend along the west side of Matusevich Glacier southward of Eld Peak, and are about long. The mountains were photographed from the air by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump (1946–1947), the Soviet Antarctic Expedition (1957–1958) and an Australian National Antarctic Research Expedition (1959). They were named by the Soviet expedition after Lieutenant Mikhail Petrovich Lazarev, commander of the sloop Mirnyy of the Bellingshausen expedition (1819–1821).
Topographic map of Thailand. The most conspicuous features of Thailand's terrain are high mountains, a central plain, and an upland plateau. Mountains cover much of northern Thailand and extend along the Myanmar border down through the Kra Isthmus and the Malay Peninsula. The central plain is a lowland area drained by the Chao Phraya River and its tributaries, the country's principal river system, which feeds into the delta at the head of the Bay of Bangkok.
The fault is a geologic feature that spans several states. From Atlanta to eastern Alabama, an area which includes Acorn Creek, the rock units that characterize the fault outcrop in widths rarely exceeding 600 feet (180 meters) yet extend along strike for 80 miles (128 km). The Chattahoochee, at McIntosh Reserve, becomes a shallow shoal. A guide to that area notes "The rugged landscape is evidence of the Brevard Fault zone, so prominent along [this] section of the river".
The Mediterranean Wall, also known as the Southern Wall ( in German), was an extensive system of coastal fortifications built by Nazi Germany during the Second World War, between 1943 and 1945. The project foresaw that the fortifications would extend along all the coasts of the Mediterranean Sea of southern France, from Cerbère to Menton, so as to prevent Allied landings in the South of France. This defensive line extended as far as Italy via the Ligurian Wall and complemented the Atlantic Wall.

The ecoregion is in the Neotropical realm and the mangrove biome. Mangroves form a continuous belt along the Pará and Maranhão coasts, with six species of mangrove trees and several associated species. They are important as a nursery for fish and in protecting the coast, and provide an important source of food and other resources to the local human population. The mangroves of Pará and Maranhão extend along of coast and cover about or about 85% of mangroves in Brazil.
Chalfont was the home of William Penn's first wife, and William Penn is buried at Jordans Quaker Meeting House near Chalfont St Giles. The Chalfont Historic District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and contains many American colonial and Victorian-style houses. Several of these are former residences which are currently occupied by businesses and are concentrated near the intersection of Butler Avenue (U.S. Route 202 Business) and North Main Street (Pennsylvania Route 152) and extend along North Main Street.

He returned to rescue France from danger, then traveled to Kronborg castle, where he sleeps until he is needed to save his homeland. His beard has grown to extend along the ground. A statue of the sleeping Ogier has been placed in the castle.
Lesya Ukrainka street (formerly known as Jagiellońska - Jagiellon street) is a central pedestrian street in Lutsk, Ukraine, running from Fellowship Bridge Square to the city's central Theatre Square. The street is 730 metres long, and is the main street of the northern and eastern areas of the Glushets suburb of Lutsk. There have been at least ten churches and monasteries located on the street. The street began to develop with more intensity during the eighteenth century when the city began to extend along the street's path.
The Kühlung is situated in the district of Rostock, southeast of the Bay of Mecklenburg, south of the Baltic Sea coast, and south and west of Bad Doberan and its seaside resort Kühlungsborn. The major part of this hilly landscape forms a protected area. The Kühlung is part of the Baltic Uplands that extend along the southern coast of Baltic Sea from Ostholstein to the Baltic republics. The ridge extends from northwest to southeast for about 23 kilometres and is between three and eight kilometres wide.

The islands, which span the equator, have tropical climates and are home to many unique plant and bird species.
Ann Arbor-Detroit Regional Rail (formerly "SEMCOG Commuter Rail") is a proposed regional rail link between the cities of Ann Arbor and Detroit. The stops includes new or existing stations in Ann Arbor, Wayne, Ypsilanti, Dearborn, and Detroit's New Center area. The route would extend along the same route used by Amtrak's Wolverine. Originally proposed in 2009 by Southeast Michigan Council of Governments (SEMCOG), the project's oversight was transferred to Regional Transit Authority of Southeast Michigan (RTA) in May 2016 and added to its master plan.

Hot magma rises between these fractures to create passive or effusive eruptions. Volcanoes within the Northern Cordilleran Volcanic Province are located along short northerly trending segments which in the northern part of the volcanic province are unmistakenably involved with north-trending rift structures, including synvolcanic grabens and grabens with one major fault line along only one of the boundaries (half-grabens). Grabens are indicative of tensional forces and crustal stretching. Two major north-trending faults hundreds of kilometres long extend along the Northern Cordilleran Volcanic Province.
On its far side, there is an embanked tidal river that opens to Malltraeth Sands, to the south. A short tunnel—the first one in Anglesey—pierces the low hills which extend along the west side of Malltraeth Marsh before reaching Bodorgan railway station. Above Malltraeth lies the extensive Common of the marsh, which is bounded on the northwest by the parishes of Llangadwaladr, Trefdraeth, and Llangristiolus; on the northeast by Llangefni and Llanffinan. Cors Ddyga (Tygai's Marsh) lies in the commote of Rhosyr.
The area's economy is positively affected by the large number of nearby offices and the proximity of Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza. There is a lot of agriculture but also factories, such as the Coca-Cola Bottling Shqipëria, and consumer services. The town is located on National Road 2, between Tirana and Durrës, to the west of the capital. It is part of the Tirana-Durrës metropolitan region - industrial and commercial facilities extend along the motorway almost all the way from Tirana to Vorë.
This trail would extend along the hillside above the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake, connecting the City and Town of Ithaca with Lansing. It would use the abandoned Central New York Southern Railroad grade (popularly known as the Ithaca-Auburn Short Line). Bridges were removed from the line when it was dismantled in the 1920s; two were replaced by footbridges built by the sewer district which uses this right of way and used for monitoring sewer lines, but they are posted "No Trespassing" and have locked fences at both ends.

The Canadian position is that the maritime boundary should follow the land boundary. The American position is that the maritime boundary should extend along a path equidistant from the coasts of the two nations. The disputed area may hold significant hydrocarbon reserves.
Other minor golf courses in southern California have kikuyu grass, many are in Long Beach: Lakewood, Skylinks, Big recreation, Little recreation, El Dorado, and others. The aggressive colonisation of natural habitat has resulted in this grass becoming naturalised in regions such Southwest Australia. It has high invasive potential due to its elongate rhizomes and stolons, with which it penetrates the ground, rapidly forming dense mats, and suppressing other plant species. It grows from a thick network of rhizomatous roots and sends out stolons which extend along the ground.
Several 'knobs' in the Lincoln Hills Map of the region The Lincoln Hills extend along the Mississippi River in Missouri, starting about northwest of St. Louis and extending to Hannibal. They are located roughly between Highway 61 and Highway 79 in Lincoln, Pike, Ralls and Marion counties. The Lincoln Hills, locally referred to as 'knobs', may have partially escaped the most recent glaciation as nunataks during the Pleistocene. In geology and biology they more resemble the rugged and forested hills of the Ozarks than the rolling plains of northern Missouri.
Cubanichthys cubensis has a cylindrical body which is slightly broader and taller in the anterior portion. They are a typical size for kiilifish, the males are while the females are slightly smaller. They are not colourful, the body being a mottled semi-transparent golden buff with a creamy white patch which starts behind the gill covers and forms an diagonal arch which reaches the anal fin and which covers the viscera. A series of horizontal light blue lines start at the gill covers and extend along the body to the caudal peduncle.
The anterior bridge strut and posterior bridge strut are part of the plastron, on the carapace are the sutures into which they insert, known as the Bridge carapace suture. The bones of the shell are named for standard vertebrate elements. As such the carapace is made up of 8 pleurals on each side, these are a combination of the ribs and fused dermal bone. Outside of this at the anterior of the shell is the single nuchal bone, a series of 12 paired periphals then extend along each side.

The John Philip Sousa House is located on a bluff overlooking Manhasset Bay on the North Shore of Long Island in the Sands Point area of North Hempstead. It is a rambling 2-1/2 story frame structure with a brown stucco exterior and a red tile roof. Its main block has a gabled roof oriented north-south, with a two-story wing extending east off the northern end. Porches extend along the western facade of the main block (overlooking the bay) and the south side of the wing.
Each male's bowls are connected by a network of trails or tracks which may extend along a ridge or in diameter around a hilltop. Males meticulously clear their bowls and tracks of debris. Mainland Norway is a mountainous, elongated country with a very long coastline. It extends from a latitude of 58°N to more than 71°N, which is north of the Arctic Circle, and there are some 50,000 smaller islands off the extremely indented coastline. The Scandinavian Mountains extend along the length of the country; the average elevation is and 32% of the mainland is located above the tree line. The site of the ancient town is marked by the ruins on the shore to the south of the modern village, about eight miles to the south of Sidon, which extend along the shore for a mile or more. They are in two distinct groups, one on a headland to the west of a fountain called ‛Ain el-Ḳantara, which is not far from the shore. Here was the ancient harbor which still affords shelter for small craft.

The red-necked buzzard is a medium-sized bird of prey with a distinctive rufous neck, the rufous colour extends up over the crown and down on to the upper back. The rest of the upperparts are mostly blackish, except for the rufous upper tail feathers which has a black subterminal bar. The underparts are mainly white, apart from a dark throat and dark blotches which extend along the flanks. Juveniles resemble the adults, but have a browner upperparts, creamy rather than white underparts and lack the dark throat.
On mature plants, yellowish streaks with wavy margins extend along the leaf veins. The region around Pinhão and São João da Pesqueira is considered to be the centre of port, with its quintas (or farms/estates) that extend along the steep slopes of the river valleys. In the 21st century, many of these are owned by multinational, reputed wine companies.
The Kwazulu-Cape coastal forest mosaic occupies the humid coastal strip between the Indian Ocean and the foothills of the Drakensberg mountains. It is part of a strip of moist coastal forests that extend along Africa's Indian Ocean coast from southern Somalia to South Africa. The northern limit of the ecoregion is at the St. Lucia estuary in KwaZulu Natal, where the forests transition to the Maputaland coastal forest mosaic. The southern limit is at Cape St. Francis, east of Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape Province, where the KwaZulu-Cape forests transition to the Albany thickets.
The Maputaland coastal forest mosaic occupies the humid coastal strip along the Indian Ocean, inland to the Lebombo Mountains for much of its length. This is part of a strip of moist coastal forests that extend along Africa's Indian Ocean coast from southern Somalia to South Africa. The northern limit of the ecoregion is north of the mouth of the Limpopo River, near Xai-Xai in Mozambique, where the forests transition to the Southern Zanzibar-Inhambane coastal forest mosaic. The southern limit is near the St Lucia estuary in KwaZulu-Natal, where the Maputaland forests transition to the Kwazulu-Cape coastal forest mosaic.
The tail is elongated and pointed with a mid-dorsal line of opaque white pigment in which there are round translucent spots. This white line may extend along the back amongst the cerata from the tail, breaking up into spots. In different parts of its range this species has differently coloured forms, which may be different species. In some places the digestive gland in the cerata is red while in other locations, cerata with brown digestive gland predominate, though it is known that the colour of the digestive gland in species of Coryphellidae is dependent on diet.
The municipal hall of Aigrefeuille d'Aunis was built in 1952. It is from the 1970s and especially during the decade of the 1980s, that the commune has initiated a voluntary program of urbanization by acquiring many subdivisions of houses grouped under the generic term of fief or suburb. It is in this period that the city has grown the most and suffered the most changes, gaining more than a thousand people between 1968 and 1982. These new developments now surround the centre of the city and extend along the main access routes to the city centre.
In April 1916, a shuttle service was instituted between Jamaica station and South Street (now South Road). The line was extended along Sutphin Boulevard to its final terminus at 109th Avenue and 157th Street on April 26, 1916. In 1917, a spur of the line along Van Dam Street in Long Island City (called the Van Dam Industrial Spur or the Industrial Center line) was inaugurated. The Queens Boulevard line was originally planned to extend along 109th Avenue and Central Avenue (later known as Linden Boulevard) to St. Albans and Cambria Heights at the Nassau County line, a total distance of .
Montsant DOP almost completely surrounds the more famous Priorat (DOQ). The vineyards extend along the mountainsides among olive groves, forests and rocky outcrops. The denomination covers the area of Priorat comarca that is not part of DOQ Priorat as well as part of the neighboring comarca of Ribera d'Ebre. In total, 17 villages are included: La Bisbal de Falset, Cabacés, Capçanes, Cornudella de Montsant, La Figuera, els Guiamets, Marçà, Margalef, El Masroig, Pradell de la Teixeta, La Torre de Fontaubella, Ulldemolins, along with portions of Falset, Garcia, El Molar, Móra la Nova and Tivissa (the sub-villages of Darmós and La Serra d'Almos.
Between 2000 and 2008 a group of undergraduate resident Staircases have been developed along Jowett Walk. In 2019 the Dellal and Martin buildings were demolished to make way for new Balliol accommodation buildings that extend along Jowett Walk and St Cross Road, opposite Holywell Manor. The building was significantly extended in 1993 with the construction of the James Fairfax Yard block off the manor's north wing. A review of college services led to the decision to close the kitchens and dining room, Manor residents were to use the new facilities at the College Hall, from 2008.
The end result is that the Northern Cordilleran Volcanic Province and the terrains of which the volcanic province occupies have moved northwards. In the context of plate tectonics, strip-slip movement of the Tintina Fault is also related to strike-slip movement along the San Andreas Fault and other extensional or strike-slip fault systems of western North America. To the west, the Denali Fault is the source of minor earthquakes that extend along the length of the fault. In contrast to the Tintina Fault, strike-slip movement along the Denali Fault has offset at least of the surface.
In vertebrates, myomeres are also thinner, and extend along the whole length of the body rather than stopping short of the head. Meanwhile, the gill pouches of lampreys are paired extensions rather than segmented structures, and are usually embedded in a complex gill skeleton, neither of which is the case in Tullimonstrum. Other identifications of soft-tissue structures were considered as being equally problematic. The supposed brain has no associated nervous tissue and is not connected to the eyes, and the purported liver was located under the gills as opposed to being further back as in other vertebrates.
The forewings are shining bluish white, with an elongate bright orange patch preceding the apex and reaching the costa but not the dorsum. This is preceded by a slight greyish shade, which does not extend along its upper edge and is followed by a strong black apical spot. Before and below the spot is an outwardly curved greyish shade, partly enclosing an elongate silver-white oblique streak along the tornus. Alternate orange and greyish-fuscous lines diverge downwards from the apex through the upper half of the cilia, which are plain greyish white about the tornus.
Mambilima Falls is a series of rapids on the Luapula River on the boundary between Zambia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The falls used to be called the Johnstone Falls. They extend along a stretch of the river. Below Lake Bangweulu the Luapula is a broad, swamplike system flowing southward that turns west and descends the steep Mambatuta Falls before meandering north to the Mambilima falls, The lush and densely populated Luapula valley opens out beyond the Mambilima falls into a huge area of marshes, floodplains and lagoons at the southern end of Lake Mweru.
It had been intended that the tracks on platforms 1 and 2 would extend along the alignment to Erskineville as an adjunct to the Eastern Suburbs railway.Sydenham Railway Station Group NSW Environment & Heritage This plan was never completed, although partial platforms were erected at St Peters and Erskineville in preparation. Because of this, Bankstown line trains continue to run on the same tracks as East Hills services, and the result of the additional platforms is that the Bankstown line's junction with the Illawarra line has been merely moved from the south of Sydenham station to the north.
The north and north-east of the district is forest-covered, and contains numerous valleys and ravines, which unite in one large stream called the Naweng River. The most important of the plains lie in the south and south-west portions of Pyay, and extend along the whole length of the railway that runs between. There are, in addition large tracts of land covered by jungle, which are available for cultivation. The principal river is the Irrawaddy, which intersects the district from north to south; next in importance are the Thani and its tributaries and the Naweng system of rivers.
The settlements of Barqueiros, Oliveira and Vila Jusã were annexed much later; Barqueiros, a municipality at the time, and the colonies of Oliveira and Vila Jusã, which belonged to Penaguião, were joined to the municipality of Mesão Frio on 6 November 1836.Luís Alberto Azevedo (2009), p.22 With the export of wine during the 17th and 18th century, vineyards began to extend along the Douro River valley bringing a mature level of economic growth. But, the temptation of easy money caused many producers to alter the quality of Douro wines, resulting in poorer quality wines, and a fall in exports.
In 1980, the municipality was abolished and the town became an ordinary neighborhood of İzmir. This state of administration was pursued when an İzmir Metropolitan Municipality with depending districts, of which Güzelbahçe is one today, was constituted in 1984. In the phase of administrative changes introduced within İzmir Metropolitan Municipality structure in 1988, Güzelbahçe became part of Konak metropolitan district. In 1992, the two rooted neighborhoods (Güzelbahçe and Narlıdere) which extend along İzmir metropolitan area's western were combined and a new district under the name, "Narlıbahçe" (which gives the meaning, "garden of pomegranates"), a combination based on part of each one's name, was formed.

Masters and Johnson's research, as well as Shere Hite's, generally supported Kinsey's findings about the female orgasm. Masters and Johnson were the first researchers to determine that the clitoral structures surround and extend along and within the labia. They observed that both clitoral and vaginal orgasms have the same stages of physical response, and found that the majority of their subjects could only achieve clitoral orgasms, while a minority achieved vaginal orgasms.
The major part of the catchment consists of generally fine grained felspathic sandstone beds up to one metre thick interbedded with dark grey shale and siltstone of Middle to Upper Ordovician age. There is a small area of intrusive rock of Devonian age consisting of granite and granodiorite near Paddys Hill and a larger area of similar material of Silurian age at Mount Selwyn. Along the middle reaches of the Buckland River there are alluvial and colluvial deposits of Pleistocene age consisting of clay, silt, sand, gravel and conglomerate. Recent deposits of alluvium with a similar composition extend along the river channel for about 2.5 km upstream of the Buckland Bridge.
Much of the site is devoted to the enormous overhead wire antenna array that is necessary to efficiently radiate the VLF waves. The antenna, shown above, consists of ten catenary cables, 5,640–8,700 ft (1,719–2,652 m, 1.1–1.6 miles) long, suspended in a zigzag pattern over the valley between Wheeler mountain and Blue mountain on twelve 200 ft. towers on the mountains' crests. Each cable receives energy from a vertical cable attached at the center, which drops down to the valley floor where it is fed by one of two "bus" transmission lines which extend along the valley from the transmitter building in the center.
Dunes and vegetation in Lençóis Maranhenses National Park The Northeastern Brazil restingas are coastal dune habitats that extend along the coast of northeastern Brazil, interspersed with lagoons, mangroves and patches of caatinga savanna. The land behind the dunes may include dwarf palms, bromeliads, ferns, shrubs, grasses and scrub trees. The more exposed areas mainly hold medium-tall grasses and scrub trees, while sheltered areas hold patches of cactus and low dry thicket. Fauna include marmosets and jaguarundis, proboscis bats, lesser sac-winged bats, bulldog bats, and Davy's naked-backed bats, wood stork, roseate spoonbill, white- necked heron, great egret, cattle egret, black-crowned night heron, and Neotropic cormorant.
The western ranges have been successfully cleared for agriculture and feature green rolling hills with small farms and settlements in the south like Korumburra, Foster, and Leongatha and towns like Yarragon, Trafalgar, Warragul, Morwell, and Traralgon in the north that extend along the Princes Highway. The eastern Strzeleckis remain heavily forested with steep dissected ridges and valleys with high rainfall. The settlements that encircle the Ranges include Boolarra, Churchill, and Gormandale in the north and Toora and Yarram in the south, while the eastern boundary is identified by Longford and Sale. The township of Mirboo North sits between the two parts, straddling the main ridge.
After separation from Attleboro in 1887, the new town built its library in 1894-95; it is a picturesque blend of architectural styles designed by Boston architect William Herbert McLean. The historic district is essentially linear in character, extend along North and South Washington Streets, between Fisher Street in the north and Bruce Avenue in the south. The central blocks are characterized by predominantly brick commercial buildings, one to four stories in height, most built between 1890 and 1930. The district also includes one church, the Grace Episcopal Church; it is a 1930 Gothic Revival stone building, constructed after the previous church was destroyed by fire.
Valley Plaza would later extend along Victory Boulevard to cover 100 acres. By 1956 it claimed to cover 100 acres with 1,039,000 square feet of retail space, the third-largest in the nation at that time, after Cross County Shopping Center on Long Island and Northland Center in Greater Detroit. It claimed to have close to $100 million in annual sales. The Valley Plaza Merchants Associated counted the May Company department store at Oxnard St., as part of "Valley Plaza", but later, in 1968, May would build an enclosed mall, Laurel Plaza, attached to their store, thus forming a separate identity from Valley Plaza.
From this, radial canals extend along the arms of asteroids and adjoin the test in the ambulacral areas of echinoids. Short lateral canals branch off the radial canals, each one ending in an ampulla. Part of the ampulla can protrude through a pore (or a pair of pores in sea urchins) to the exterior and is known as a podium or tube feet. The water vascular system assists with the distribution of nutrients throughout the animal's body and is most obviously expressed in the tube feet which can be extended or contracted by the redistribution of fluid between the foot and the internal sac.Dorit, Walker & Barnes (1991) pp.
In early 1922 further improvements were undertaken to the station building. By September 1921, the brigade was in possession of three cars, and a lack of storage space in the front plant room determined the decision to add an annex to the station. The brigade's use of the plant room at this time to store cars indicates that by 1921 the original front office space had been removed and replaced by an entrance door. The Brigade's monthly meeting in January 1922 resolved to extend along the length of the south end of the station, with a frontage of , and a roof carried out on the same pitch as the 1904 building.
Machine Shop Village is located just east of the modern center of North Andover, and is roughly centered at the junction Water, Elm, and High Streets. Water Street roughly parallels Cochichewick Creek, which flows northwest just to its south, and provided the power for the village's industries. Two multibuilding brick industrial complexes extend along the north side of Water Street on either side of High Street, and the residential areas are south of Water Street. Non-residential civic buildings include the 1865 Trinitarian Congregational Church, and a few small wood-frame commercial buildings, a remnant survivor of a more numerous group that populated the village at its height.

MS Oosterdam is powered by a CODAG propulsion system encompassing five (three 16-cylinder and two 12-cylinder) Sulzer ZAV40S diesel engines (built under license by Grandi Motori Trieste, now owned by Wärtsilä, in Trieste, Italy) and a GE LM2500 gas turbine, making it one of only a handful of merchant vessels that is powered by such an arrangement. It is propelled by two 17.62 MW (23956.53 ps), 160rpm synchronous freshwater-cooled ABB Azipod propulsors. Its two engine rooms are separated by a watertight bulkhead division.
The Southwestern Arabian Escarpment shrublands and woodlands, also known as the Southwestern Arabian foothills savanna is a desert and xeric shrubland ecoregion of the southern Arabian Peninsula, covering portions of Saudi Arabia and Yemen. The ecoregion occupies moderate elevations in the peninsula's mountainous southwest, including the Hijaz Mountains and Asir Mountains of Saudi Arabia, and the Sarawat Mountains of Yemen. The Escarpment woodlands and shrublands are bounded on the southeast by the Southwest Arabian coastal xeric shrublands, which extend along the coastal strip between the mountains and the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. At higher elevations, the foothills savanna transitions to the Southwestern Arabian montane woodlands.
Typical CNN architecture When dealing with high-dimensional inputs such as images, it is impractical to connect neurons to all neurons in the previous volume because such a network architecture does not take the spatial structure of the data into account. Convolutional networks exploit spatially local correlation by enforcing a sparse local connectivity pattern between neurons of adjacent layers: each neuron is connected to only a small region of the input volume. The extent of this connectivity is a hyperparameter called the receptive field of the neuron. The connections are local in space (along width and height), but always extend along the entire depth of the input volume.
The bridge remained in use well into the 21st century. In 2007, it was noted that there was "significant deterioration" in the mortar joints in the limestone, and that the wingwalls, which extend along the banks and protect the bridge during high flows, were "temporarily shored and in need of repair". In 2008, the bridge was listed in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) under the name "Bridge #650 - Federal Aid Highway System Bridge". At that time, it was suggested that WPA bridges like 650 might attract tourists on the Kansas Wetlands and Wildlife Scenic Byway, a corridor running through Barton County and connecting Cheyenne Bottoms and Quivira National Wildlife Refuge.
The streets flanking the green are lined with a combination of civic, residential, and commercial buildings, most dating to the second half of the 19th century and the early decades of the 20th. A cluster of brick commercial buildings extend along Main Street just south of the green, and are also included in the historic district. The town was chartered in 1779 and settled in 1783 by Matthew Lyon, who established the town's first mills, and gave the land that now forms the green. The town was rural and generally agrarian in character until 1848, when the Rutland and Whitehall Railroad was built through the town on the south side of the Castleton River.
The forests extend almost continuously along the range through the states of Veracruz, Hidalgo, Querétaro, Guanajuato, San Luis Potosí, Tamaulipas, Nuevo León, and northern Puebla. North of Monterrey, the forests become discontinuous, extending as a series of sky islands through the states of Nuevo León and Coahuila, and on into the Chisos and Davis mountains of the Big Bend region of western Texas. Other sky islands can be found on the higher peaks of the mountain ranges rising from the Mexican Plateau to the west. The pine–oak forests extend along a discontinous line of folded mountains, including the Sierra de Arteaga, Sierra de Zapalinamé, Sierra La Concordia, and Sierra de Parras, that reach westwards across the plateau.
The Monadnock Mills are a historic mill complex in Claremont, New Hampshire. They extend along the southern bank of the Sugar River on both sides of Water Street, between the Broad Street bridge to the east, and the junction of Main and Water Streets in the west, where they abut the industrial area formerly associated with the Sullivan Machinery Company; there also a small number of surviving elements on the north side of the river opposite this area. The complex represents the surviving elements of what was once the largest manufacturing complex in the upper Connecticut River watershed area, and one of its oldest. The mills were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
The várzea forests of this ecoregion extend along the low, seasonally flooded rivers of the central and lower basin of the Amazon River, including a large part of the Madeira River basin, the mouth of the Purus River, tributaries of these rives and an isolated patch of várzea along the Mamoré River between Bolivia and Brazil. Major population centers in or near the ecorgion are Manaus, Itacoatiara, Coari and Óbidos. The ecoregion adjoins the Madeira-Tapajós moist forests to the southeast and the Uatuma-Trombetas moist forests and Japurá- Solimões-Negro moist forests to the north. The Purus-Madeira moist forests lie to the west of the Madeira and the south of the Amazon.
The tips of the right and left maxillary stylets are not the same; the right is hook-like and curved, and the left is straight. The right and left mandibular stylets extend along the outer sides of their respective maxillary stylets and do not reach anywhere near the tip of the fused maxillary stylets. The stylets are retained in a groove in the labium, and during feeding, they are freed from the groove as the jointed labium is bent or folded out of the way; its tip never enters the wound. The mandibular stylet tips have small teeth, and through alternately moving these stylets back and forth, the insect cuts a path through tissue for the maxillary bundle to reach an appropriately sized blood vessel.
Underside dull ochraceous brown, the basal half of both forewings and hindwings and a broad terminal margin darker brown; the wings entirely and thickly covered with slender transverse dark brown striae; irregular cell-marks on the forewing and a transverse highly sinuous subterminal band of dark blue lunules on both wings: these lunules defined by slender black lines on both sides. Bases of the wings with a clothing of long stiff black hairs, which are blunt at their apices, and on the forewing extend along the basal half of the costal margin, projecting outwards beyond it. Antennae, head and thorax very dark brown, abdomen fulvous (tawny); beneath very hairy; palpi, thorax and abdomen dark brown, the abdomen towards the apex paler.. Wingspan of 63–68 mm.
The wingspan of the male is 9–10 mm. The forewings are dark grey with an oblique bar of white suffusion from the costa at one- sixth, reaching half across the wing, accompanied with some whitish-ochreous scales, sometimes tending to extend along the costa to the base. There is an undefined patch of blackish suffusion in the disc beyond this, representing the first discal and plical stigmata, and a rather large roundish black spot representing the second discal, with more or less whitish irroration between these and on the margins of the second discal. There is also a white patch occupying the apical fourth, mixed with dark grey or dark fuscous towards the apex, the anterior edge irregularly indented in the middle.
A physician may diagnose an inguinal hernia, as well as the type, from medical history and physical examination. For confirmation or in uncertain cases, medical ultrasonography is the first choice of imaging, because it can both detect the hernia and evaluate its changes with for example pressure, standing and Valsalva maneuver. When assessed by ultrasound or cross sectional imaging with CT or MRI, the major differential in diagnosing indirect inguinal hernias is differentiation from spermatic cord lipomas, as both can contain only fat and extend along the inguinal canal into the scrotum. On axial CT, lipomas originate posterolateral to the cord, and are located inside the cremaster muscle, while inguinal hernias lie anteromedial to the cord and are not intramuscular.
Between Plant Science and Tower Road is the greenhouses built in 1931 to house Liberty Hide Bailey's palm collection and the Minns Garden. Designed by Gwathmey & Siegel and completed in 1990, Keith Kennedy and the "new" Roberts Halls, featuring an archway that connects the two halls, extend along the western face of the quad, having replaced the original Roberts Hall (1906) and East Roberts Hall and Stone Hall. The Computing and Communications Center (formerly named Comstock Hall),The "old" Comstock Hall was built by New York State for the Entomology Department, but was sold to Cornell so that mainframe computers could be relocated from Langmuir Laboratory. which was designed by Cornell faculty members Clarence Martin, Jean Hebrard, and George Young, stands between Roberts and Caldwell Halls.
In a situation of complete glial absence (provided by the usage of a glial cells missing mutant), there are still neurons along the route of axonal extension, which would not correspond to a predictable lack of glia case. The most remarkable observation lies in the general disruption of the scaffold formed by the axonal fascicles separated by the glia, which can be verified in both ablation and mutation situations. Follower axons can still extend along the longitudinal pathways, however, their selective fasciculation routes are altered. In the central nervous system of Drosophila melanogaster, recent studies show that, whereas the pioneer neurons do not depend on glia for survival, the later extending follower neurons do, revealing a role for survival control in the establishment of axonal trajectories.
Adult male Seebohm's wheatear in breeding are very distinctive when compared to Northern wheatear, having a black throat, face, lores and ear coverts, sometimes extending to the uppermost part of the breast, occasionally with some buff mixed in. Upperparts are similar to adult male Northern wheatear but sometimes has more white on the forehead and less extensive area of black on the tip of the tail where the white colour may extend along the outer tail. The axillaries and underwing coverts are black and the underparts are often whiter than in Northern wheatear. After the post- breeding moult the upperparts are pale brown with the wing coverts, primaries, secondaries and tertials finely tipped with buff while the greater coverts show whitish tips.

The Amazon-Orinoco-Southern Caribbean mangroves cover stretches of the northern, Caribbean, coasts of Colombia and Venezuela, and of the Atlantic coasts of Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana and northeast Brazil. It includes sections of the coasts of the Brazilian states of Amapá, Pará and Maranhão. The eastern part of the ecoregion makes up the Guianan- Amazon Mangroves global ecoregion, which in turn is made up of the Guianan mangroves, Amapá mangroves; Pará mangroves and Maranhão mangroves terrestrial ecoregions. Along the Caribbean coast the mangroves are found along sections of Guajira-Barranquilla xeric scrub, Sinú Valley dry forests, Paraguana xeric scrub, Lara/Falcon dry forests, La Costa xeric shrublands, Cordillera de la Costa montane forests, Araya and Paria xeric scrub, Orinoco wetlands and Orinoco Delta swamp forests, which extend along the coast into the Atlantic.
The Lower Guinean forests is region of coastal tropical moist broadleaf forest in West Africa, extending along the eastern coast of the Gulf of Guinea from eastern Benin through Nigeria and Cameroon. The Dahomey Gap, a region of savanna and dry forest in Togo and Benin, divides the Lower Guinean forests from the Upper Guinean forests to the west, which extend along the western coast of the Gulf of Guinea from Togo to Liberia and north to Guinea. To the north and northeast, the Lower Guinean forests transition to the drier inland Guinean forest-savanna mosaic and Northern Congolian forest-savanna mosaic and to the southeast by the Congolian Coastal forests, whose boundary is the Sanaga River in Cameroon.Linder, H. The stretch of Main Street on which the mill village is centered was historically a major through road, which was first bypassed by the present alignment of Connecticut Route 83, and then truncated by the major construction work in the 1980s widening Interstate 84. The district's principal features extend along Main Street from CT 83 to where the road crosses the Tankerhoosen River (on a late 19th-century lenticular truss bridge built by the Berlin Iron Bridge Company). The mill complex is located between Main Street and the river, with the principally residential surviving elements of the Talcott's constructions on Main Street and Elm Hill Street. The district includes 32 historically significant buildings, as well as the dams, mill sites, and mill ponds associated with the Warburton, Dobson, and Talcott mills.
