The Hibiya Line subway station was opened on May 31, 1962, with the line's extension from Naka-Okachimachi to Ningyōchō. On August 24, 2005, the underground terminus of the new Tsukuba Express Line opened at Akihabara. The entire station complex, including the JR station, was also refurbished and enlarged in preparation for the opening of the Tsukuba Express.
Line 4 will be in length with 18 stations and is scheduled to be complete by 2020. Unlike other lines, which are radial lines that connect Xiamen island to the mainland, this line is a tangential express line running strictly on the mainland around Xiamen Island. It will connect Xiamen's new Xiang'an Airport to Xiamen North railway station.
The hub is served by Fairfield and Suisun Transit (FAST) bus service predominantly. Solano Express intercity commuter routes also stop here. FAST operates the Blue Line north to Sacramento (Davis on weekends) and south to Walnut Creek station Monday through Saturday. FAST also operates the Green Express Line south to El Cerrito del Norte station Monday through Friday.
In the 2016 timetable, Meerane station is served by a regional express line (RE 1), running from Göttingen through Erfurt Hbf, Gera Hbf and Meerane to Glauchau (Sachs), and a short regional service (RB 37) running from Gößnitz to Glauchau. Both lines run every two hours, so there is one scheduled departure per hour and direction.
The DASH lines are meant for local neighborhood transportation; their routes are shorter than MTA lines. DASH service ends at 7pm weekdays and only Dash Koreatown operates on weekends, ending service at 6pm. DASH fares are 50 cents. Commuter Express line 534 Century City provides weekday service while Cityride offers door to door dial- a-ride service for the elderly and disabled.
In the spring of 2001, the new Schwerin Mitte station was opened nearer the centre of Schwerin. At the same time a continuous Regional-Express line to Berlin was established. From 2002 to 2005, the Schwerin Hauptbahnhof was modernised, including the lengthening of the platforms on tracks 2 and 3. Similarly, the bridge over Obotritenring (the ring road) was rebuilt.

As the nine tunnel sections were the first structures to be built, they were constructed by conventional excavations.
Knott's Berry Farm can easily be accessed by public transportation. Service is available by the Los Angeles Metro, the Orange County Transportation Authority, and Anaheim Resort Transit. Bus routes serving the park include Metro Express Line 460 which provides direct express service between Downtown Los Angeles and Disneyland OCTA bus routes 29, 38 and 529 and Anaheim Resort Transit route 18.
The airport express line will maintain a travel time of 30 minutes. The rail bridge construction leading into the upper level of the station forms a curve, and some of the screws holding it in place loosened. This required a €25 million reconstruction which involved the closure of the upper level rail tracks during a 3-month period in summer 2015.
After the destruction of the bridge by the French in 1799 border traffic through Kaiserstuhl ended for almost two decades. Floods damaged the Rhine Bridge in 1817 and 1876. It was rebuilt in steel and concrete in 1890 and again in 1985. The creation of the post offices in 1816 and the pony express line to Baden, led to prosperity and growth.
Abhisit's administration completed the Airport Link project that was delayed by the previous government due to several factors. Suvarnabhumi Airport's Link, which connects downtown Bangkok and Suvarnabhumi airport, began commercial services on 23 August 2010. The Airport Link's City Line will run every 15 minutes and the Express Line every 30 minutes. Both lines operate from 06:00 to midnight.
Route J7 originally operated in the Silver Spring area and was discontinued on September 24, 1978 and replaced by routes C1 and T1. It then operated as the Rock Creek Park Express Line but was discontinued and replaced by the J1 on December 29, 1996. Route J8 originally operated between Wheaton Plaza and Beltway Plaza Mall before being replaced by route C2.
Routes Z9 and Z29 operate as part of the Laurel–Burtonsville Express Line operating between today current route between Silver Spring station and South Laurel Park & Ride Lot. The major difference between routes Z9 and Z29 was route Z29 remained on Columbia Pike while route Z9 was rerouted along Colesville Road between Burtonsville Park & Ride and Columbia Pike and Industrial Parkway.
Aerocity offers plenty of commuting options through multi- modal connectivity. Worldmark is located just off the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway in between Gurugram, Dwarka, South Delhi and Central Delhi. It is easily accessible by the Aerocity Metro Station on the Airport Express Line (Orange Line) of the Delhi Metro. Worldmark is also in close proximity to the Terminal 1 Metro Station (Magenta Line).
On 27 June 2013 Reliance Infrastructure Ltd. announced to DMRC that they are unable to operate the line beyond 30 June 2013. Following this, DMRC took over operations of Airport Express line from 1 July 2013 with an operations and maintenance team of 100 officials to handle the line. DMRC reinstated the 80 km/hr speeds on the line in mid-2014.
The trains are fitted with an event recorder which can withstand high levels of temperature and impact and the wheels have flange lubrication system for less noise and better riding comfort. Based on the consultancy by MTR, the interior design of the rolling stock is highly similar to that of Airport Express line in MTR Hong Kong which uses very similar trains.
Line 466 was a rush-hour only express line serving between Downtown Los Angeles (at the corner of Temple Street and Los Angeles Street) and La Mirada Park-n-Ride (near Adelfa Drive and Santa Gertrudes Avenue), traveling on Santa Ana Freeway. It had an off-freeway bus stop at the Lakewood Boulevard exit of Interstate 5 in Downey. Line 466 was cancelled in June 2001.

Local passenger rail services run hourly, the line being worked by Regional Express Line No. 9 (Regionalexpresslinie 9). Trains run alternately to Lietzow (with connexions to the Sassnitz-Rostock- Stralsund services) and to Stralsund. Three to five pairs of long-distance services run daily, most going to Rostock via Berlin to west or south Germany. At weekends, there is a direct Eurocity connexion to Prague.
Shuttle buses are the current options of getting around SkyCity without driving a car. Airport Express, part of the MTR's Airport Express Line, takes only a minute to travel between AsiaWorld- Expo and the Airport. It costs HK$2.5 for Octopus users and HK$5 for others. Automated People Mover is the current People mover in use at the airport and only operates within the terminal.
Sala Daeng sky train station, Silom, Bangkok Platform Screen Doors were first installed on the Bangkok MRT System since it first operates. Followed by the Airport Rail Link System in Makkasan Station (Express Platform) and Suvarnabhumi Station (both City and Express Line Platform. BTS Skytrain system first installed the Platform screen doors at Siam Station. Followed by all the busy stations during rush hours.
By 1888 the Nickel Plate had been dubbed "The Meat Express Line." Observers at Fort Wayne, Indiana reported six long meat trains every night and a couple of fruit trains during the day. Vanderbilt consolidated many of his railroads into the New York Central Railroad. Over time, the Nickel Plate was reduced as a serious threat to the New York Central and other competing lines.
The Wupper-Express (RE 4) is a Regional-Express service in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) running from Aachen via Mönchengladbach, Düsseldorf, Wuppertal, Hagen to Dortmund. The service is operated every hour by DB Regio NRW. It is the third most widely used Regional-Express line in the area administered by the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr with approximately 24,000 passengers a day.
For Red and Yellow lines ALSTOM has supplied signalling system and for Green and Violet lines, Bombardier Transportation has supplied CITYFLO 350 signalling system. The Airport Express line has introduced WiFi services at all stations along the route on 13 January 2012. Connectivity inside metro trains travelling on the route is expected in the future. The WiFi service is provided by YOU Broadband and Cable India Limited.
Several street cars, jitneys, and other local bus routes have been proposed in Miami for the Downtown/Brickell/CBD/Arts & Entertainment District area. A notable example is a proposed streetcar line down Biscayne Boulevard from Downtown to the Arts & Entertainment District. Miami had streetcars since 1906. By the 1920s, downtown had an extensive streetcar system, including an express line from Miami to Coral Gables that exceeded .
Port Haney station is a commuter rail station served by the West Coast Express line which connects Vancouver and Mission in British Columbia, Canada. The station is located on the north side of the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) tracks in Maple Ridge, just off River Road and 223rd Street. The station opened in 1995, when the West Coast Express began operating. All services are operated by TransLink.
All of these 6 stations are branded as Metro Silver Line stations. In addition, there are two stations on the freeway to the south of the transitway: Carson Station and Pacific Coast Highway station. On December 13, 2015, the Metro Silver Line route was extended to serve and terminate in San Pedro. The extension replaced Metro Express Line 450 which had also utilized the transitway.
Prior to route 79, the only express route that operated along Georgia Avenue was the Brightwood Express Line under route 73. Route 73 was the main express route operating along Georgia Avenue running between Silver Spring station and Archives station only supplementing routes 70 and 71 as they run local routes. However, in 2000, route 73 was discontinued and replaced by routes 70 and 71.
The Burtonsville–Greencastle Express Line, designated Route Z11, is a weekday peak-hour bus route operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority between Silver Spring station of the Red Line of the Washington Metro and Burtonsville Crossing Park & Ride Lot in Burtonsville, Maryland. The line operates every 10-25 minutes during the weekday peak hours in the peak direction only. Route Z11 trips are roughly 50 minutes long.
Cheney joined Nathaniel White and William Walker in 1842 to organize an express line between Boston and Montreal. In 1852 Cheney effected his first consolidation when he bought out Fisk & Rice's Express between Boston and Burlington, Vermont. Subsequent consolidations resulted in the organization of the United States & Canada Express Company in 1854. In 1854, while on his way home from Canada, he lost his right arm in a railway accident.
In 2009 a Shenzhen official noted that the construction of the Western Express Line, a proposed railway linking the Hong Kong and Shenzhen airports, might stop in Sheung Pak Nai. However, the proposal has been shelved as a consultant hired by the Transport and Housing Bureau found that the line would cost "well in excess" of HK$110 billion and had poor financial viability and poor market demand.
Norwalk is the eastern terminus of the C Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail. The station also uses the surname I-605/I-105 because of its location at the interchange of the San Gabriel River Freeway and the Century Freeway. This station serves as a major transfer point for the Metro Express Line 460 with service to theme parks Knott's Berry Farm and Disneyland in Anaheim.
The IFFCO Chowk Metro Station is located on the Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro. The station is located near the headquarters of IFFCO, PowerGrid Corporation of India and RITES Limited. It is also in the vicinity of Essel Towers (residential complex) and Westin Hotel, Gurgaon. As per the Phase 3 expansion by DMRC, this station would be the terminal point of the Airport Express Line towards New Delhi Railway Station.
Zutphen is a railway station located in Zutphen, Netherlands. The station was opened on 2 February 1865, rebuilt after the Second World War and is located on the Arnhem–Leeuwarden railway, Zutphen–Glanerbeek railway, Amsterdam–Zutphen railway and the Zutphen–Winterswijk railway. The services are operated by Nederlandse Spoorwegen, Syntus and Arriva. The station is an important regional hub, with three local lines and one express line meeting in Zutphen.
Line S1 acts as Nanjing's airport express line, connecting Nanjing South Railway Station to Gaochun District via Nanjing Lukou International Airport. The entire line was planned to be long with 13 stations. The first phase from Nanjing South to Lukou International Airport started construction on December 27, 2011, and finished in 2014. The first phase opened on July 1, 2014 in time for the Nanjing 2014 Summer Youth Olympics.
From the ferry terminal building itself, taxis are available close to the door. A connecting bus depot offers local services across Nanshan but with some services across to Futian and Luohu districts of the city terminating at Shenzhen railway station. Airport Express Line 10 offers quick transfer to Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport. Metro rail services are available beyond the bus depot at the underground Shekou Port station on the Shekou Line.
While the airport loop was planned and built as part of the Cologne-Frankfurt high-speed line, few trains run along both lines. The main mode of transport on the airport loop is S-Bahn line S13 between Cologne and Troisdorf with 58 pairs of trains on weekdays. The connection to the south is served very poorly. The Regional-Express line RE 8 operates over the airport loop every hour.
In 1903, the company was taken over by the city of Nuremberg and operated under the name Nürnberg-Fürther Straßenbahn. . Under municipal ownership, the streetcar operation saw steady growth. Although growth slowed during the First World War and the Great Depression, by 1939 the network around Nuremberg and Fürth had reached 20 lines, including one express line. . Busses were introduced in 1923 and expanded to 60 busses by 1929.
'Shenzhen Metro Line 11 opened on 28 June 2016. Line 11 has a length of and a total of 18 stations. It connects the CBDs of Futian, Nanshan and Qianhai to Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport and onward to Fuyong, Shajing and Songgang suburban areas. It serves as both a regional express line from the west coast of Shenzhen to the city core area and an airport rail link.
Route 37 originally operated as the Wisconsin Avenue Express Line which ran under a similar routing to route 37. The line originally operated between Washington Union Station and Friendship Heights station, then later between Friendship Heights and Archives station. Around the 1990s the line was shortened from Friendship Heights to Tenleytown–AU station. The line was later discontinued in 1996 and replaced by routes routes 30, 32, 34, 35, and 36.
The Tourist Express in test phase. Since 2009, Luz has been the terminus of the Tourist Express line, a tourist line that makes trips from Luz to Paranapiacaba and Jundiai. It uses diesel locomotives which carry a maximum of 170 people and travel at maximum speeds of . The Express connects tourists to São Paulo's "Fruit Circuit", which is a region known for its rural tourism and fruit production.
In the off- season, Näslund received NHL First Team All-Star honours as the league's top left-winger. He also finished fifth in Hart Memorial Trophy balloting. In 2002–03, with the West Coast Express line intact for a full season, Näslund finished with a career-high of 48 goals and 104 points, finishing second in the league in both categories. Furthermore, he led the league with 54 powerplay points and 12 game-winning goals.
InterCity Express line 10 services (between Berlin and Cologne) operate hourly on the main east–west ICE line. Line 42 (between Dortmund and Munich) operates every two-hours on the north–south ICE line. Additional ICE services are operated as line 31, line 41 (every hour between Duisburg and Essen) and line 91. Every two hours InterCity trains operate over lines 30 and 51, as well as various services of lines 26, 32, and 55.
Together with the Taunus railway (Route 645.1), the line is used by Stadt-Express line SE-10 of the Rhine-Main Transport Association, which runs from Frankfurt to Koblenz and Neuwied. With the Cologne-Frankfurt high-speed railway and the Sieg Railway, the East Rhine Railway forms a six-track line between Cologne-Porz and Troisdorf. It includes two tunnels between Rüdesheim and Niederlahnstein, including the well-known Loreley Tunnel near Sankt Goarshausen.
Today, Deutsche Bahn operates Regional-Express line RE1 (Magdeburg–Berlin–Frankfurt (Oder)–Eisenhüttenstadt) and RE11 (Frankfurt (Oder)–Eisenhüttenstadt–Guben–Cottbus) on the line. In Berlin section the S3 S-Bahn service runs parallel with the mainline. Since 2002, the Berlin-Frankfurt (Oder) line has been upgraded for speeds of up to 160 km/h, at a cost of €167.5 million. 61.6% of these costs have been met by the European Regional Development Fund.
A ground transportation center was constructed beneath the North Terminal of Beijing Daxing International Airport. Two underground railway stations (for Beijing–Xiong'an intercity railway and Intercity Railway Connector) and three metro stations (Daxing Airport Express, Line 20 (Line R4) and another planned metro line) were built beneath the North Terminal. Currently, only one of the metro lines (Daxing Airport Express) and one of the railway lines (Beijing–Xiong'an intercity railway) are in operation.
In 2009, the Sunday 16B reduced Annandale trips, leading to select trips terminating at Culmore, where it ends on weekday rush hours. In 2010, route 16F was renamed as the Columbia Pike–Federal Triangle Line. Other than route 16F, two existing route was formerly part of the Columbia Pike Line, until the line name was changed. Route 16L was part of the line until 1987, when it became the Columbia Pike Express Line.
In Lyon, the Tango tram is serving the express line Rhônexpress linking downtown with Saint Exupéry Airport, and its TGV train station, opened in 2010. An order of 32 vehicles has been placed by the city of Geneva in December 2009. 20 were ordered by Stuttgarter Strassenbahnen, the first one being completed in September 2012. Appenzeller Bahnen (AB) has contracted Stadler Rail to deliver seven new Tango for use on the new Appenzell–St.
He was born in 1840 at Bowling Green, Kentucky, the son of William Crenshaw Valentine and Eliza (Cunningham) Valentine. His Valentine ancestors from Eccles, Lancaster, England, had settled in Virginia in the 17th century. After attending the common schools, Valentine began his business career in 1854 working for Younglove Brothers, druggists and agents for Carter, Thomas & Company's express line in Bowling Green. Later he worked for O'Bannon, Kean & Company and then for the Adams Express Company until 1861.
Route 215 was launched on March 1, 2017 as a new express line connecting Baltimore to Maryland's capital. A segment of the new BaltimoreLink system, Route 215 connects Baltimore's employment centers (Johns Hopkins Hospital, Financial District, University of Maryland, Inner Harbor, and others) to the state government center in Annapolis via Interstate 97 and U.S. 50. Route 210 was launched in tandem with Route 215, as a reserved directional line traveling from Annapolis and Kent Island to Baltimore.
EuroCity trains will also connect to Wrocław and Kraków in Poland, Amsterdam in the Netherlands and Prague in the Czech Republic. About half of the passengers are expected to access BER by rail. An express line (Regionalbahn) will connect the airport with the Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Berlin main station) in 30 minutes. Two more stops at Potsdamer Platz and Berlin Südkreuz will be part of the Airport Express, which is planned to make the trip in 20 minutes.
The Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus Metro Station is a metro station located on the Pink Line of the Delhi Metro. It has been built as a part of Phase III of Delhi Metro. There is also an interchange facility with Dhaula Kuan metro station of the Airport Express Line. The footover bridge opened on February 9, 2019 and both the stations are connected by a 1.2 km long skywalk having a record 22 travellators for hassle-free commuting.
Despite providing connectivity to Mumbai's airport, passengers on Metro 3 will not be permitted to carry their check-in luggage onboard trains. Only hand/cabin baggage will be allowed. MMRC officials stated that Metro 3 was not an "Airport Express line", but a regular city metro corridor. Officials explained that providing luggage check-in would require additional dwell time at the Airport metro station, which would increase the overall headway of the line, and disrupt services for other passengers.
It was the twelfth school in Japan to offer the IB PYP, the ninth to offer the IB MYP, the 32nd to offer the IB DP, the sixth to offer the full PYP/MYP/DP continuum, and the 22nd IB World School in the country. Highway B 188 traverses the area from east to west, connecting Uetze proper and Altmerdingsen to Burgdorf and Gifhorn. The highways B 214 and B 444 connect to Celle, Braunschweig and Peine. The villages Dollbergen and Dedenhausen both have a train station on the Berlin-Lehrte Railway which are served by regional express line RE 30 from Hanover to Wolfsburg. The municipality is connected to Burgdorf and Lehrte via RegioBus lines 910, 920, 930 and 946.

Protesters returned to the Airport on 7 September for another "stress test" aimed at paralysing the airport's operations. The MTR shut down most of the stations of the Airport Express line with the exception of Hong Kong station and Airport station. The police stopped buses near Lantau Link Toll Plaza to search the commuters for offensive weapons, resulting in a long queue of buses waiting to enter Lantau Island. A commuter have described the police's search as "disruptive".
During WMATA's Fiscal Year of 2016, WMATA announced a proposal that will affect the current Laurel–Burtonsville Express Line. Route Z9 and Z29 will be combined into one route into a new route Z29. However, route Z29 will divert onto Old Columbia Pike between Greencastle and Briggs Chaney Roads discontinuing a portion of the route along Columbia Pike. A new route Z3 will provide off–peak direction bus service between Silver Spring, Burtonsville and South Laurel replacing route Z9.
After a series of proposals in early 2004, route Z6 was reincarnated in service as the Tanglewood–Westfarm Line to operate between Silver Spring station and Burtonsville Crossing Park & Ride lot via Calverton, Westfarm, and White Oak, Maryland on September 26, 2004. The new Z6 replaced the Glenmont–Silver Spring Line (Z1 and Z4), Colesville–Fairland Express Line (Z3 and Z5), the Calverton Express Line (Z7 and Z17), and route Z8's routing between Greencastle Park & Ride Lot and Burtonsville Park & Ride. Route Z6 replaced route Z4 routing between Lockwood Drive, Stewart Lane, and Old Columbia Pike through the White Oak Shopping Center and White Oak Apartments, Z1, Z4, Z5, Z7, & Z17's routing on Columbia Pike, Industrial Parkway, Tech Road, and Broadbirch Drive in Westfarm, and a portion of Z7 & Z17's routing on Calverton Boulevard in Calverton. Routes Z1, Z3, Z4, Z5, Z7, and Z17 were all discontinued and route Z8 was shorten to Greencastle Park & Ride Lot with all the discontinued routings combined into the new route Z6.
Line 443 was canceled when Metro Green Line began service. This rush-hour only express line provided service to Downtown Los Angeles from South Bay along Artesia Boulevard west of Interstate 405, as well as Aviation Boulevard and Prospect Avenue in Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach, as express service for Lines 225 and 226, with the southern terminus at Malaga Cove Plaza Shopping Center. The service has been replaced by the other Metro and Torrance Transit express lines on the Harbor Transitway.
In the early 1970s, the route was one of the last stamping grounds of the Deutsche Bundesbahn's Class 01 express train steam locomotive. From 2001 to 2004 the Schiefe Ebene was also traversed by modern ICE-TD power cars (DBAG Class 605) with tilting technology. Today the line is worked by the tilting DMUs of DB Class 612, that serve the hourly RegionalExpress lines of Hof–Würzburg and Hof–Lichtenfels as well as the Interregio-Express line Nürnberg-Hof-Dresden.
In 2009 Kevin Borich, Harry Brus and Lucius Borich recorded Live at the Basement, in Sydney's The Basement venue in Circular Quay, a double CD and DVD under the banner Borich X Borich. Borich recorded and released the studio album Totem on 28 May 2015, for which he toured in Australia with the current Kevin Borich Express line-up featuring Chris Gilbert on bass guitar and Jon Carson on drums. They performed a successful season at Adelaide Fringe Festival in March 2017.
Hanoi is also the origin or departure point for many Vietnam Railways train routes in the country. The Reunification Express (tàu Thống Nhất) runs from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City from Hanoi station (formerly Hang Co station), with stops at cities and provinces along the line. Trains also depart Hanoi frequently for Hai Phong and other northern cities. The Reunification Express line was established during French colonial rule and was completed over a period of nearly forty years, from 1899 to 1936.
Dozens of bus lines pass along Begin Road on their way to the central bus station and many other parts of Tel Aviv and Israel. A few lines pass on HaShalom Road and stop at the station's entrances. The bus lines are served primarily by Egged and Dan, but also by Kavim, Superbus, Afikim and Nateev Express. Line 63, operated by Dan Bus Company, offers the most convenient way of getting to the city center, including Dizengoff Center and the beach promenades.
Beijing Daxing International Airport The Beijing Daxing International Airport (IATA: PKX) located south of the city in Daxing District bordering the city of Langfang, Hebei Province, opened on 25 September 2019. The Daxing Airport has one of the world's largest terminal buildings and is expected to be a major airport serving Beijing, Tianjin and northern Hebei Province. Daxing Airport is connected to the city via the Beijing–Xiong'an intercity railway, the Daxing Airport Express line of the Beijing Subway and two expressways.

The above all sit atop Kowloon MTR station, a station on the Tung Chung line and Airport Express line. The shopping-mall Elements started operating on 1 October 2007.

In Orange County, Leprechaun operates the Newburgh Area Transit system for TransitOrange, using Gillig Low Floor HEV 35' (G30B102N2) and Gillig Phantom 35' buses. Previously, they used OBI Orion I and Orion V buses. Stewart Airport, which is a rapidly growing reliever airport for the New York City area, is only served by Leprechaun's system. On the Dutchess County side of the Hudson River, a commuter express line between Poughkeepsie and the massive suburban office park developments of White Plains is also operated by the agency.
Tung attended the Shanghai APEC Summit in October 2001, formally proposing the construction of a maglev railway between Canton/Guangzhou and Hong Kong Express Line plans to the State Planning Commission. The Mayor of Shenzhen Yu Youjun said at a news conference at the APEC Senior Officials' Meeting, Shenzhen and Hong Kong is planning to build maglev railway and to continue to discuss the issue. But also at this time, the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway Co. also made a Guangzhou–Kowloon Through Train speed plan.
Odakyu Line underground platformsThe Odakyu Odawara and Keio Inokashira lines cross at this station, with the Keio line on elevated tracks above the Odakyu line. After a major station reconstruction project, the Odakyu lines were relocated in March 2013 from their prior surface position to new platforms three stories underground. Additional construction work, ending in 2018, separated the express line trains from the local line trains, one level above. Now, the four-track route that formerly ended at is complete as far as station.
The Rhein-Express is a Regional-Express (RE 5 (RRX)) service, which generally follows the Rhine () river. It runs daily every hour from 5 am to 9 pm from Wesel via Oberhausen, Duisburg, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Bonn, Remagen and Andernach to Koblenz, in the German states of North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate. It is the fourth-most used regional express line in the VRR network with approximately 48,000 passengers a day. Until the timetable change in December 2016, the Rhein-Express ran to/from Emmerich.
The interior of a Delhi Metro Airport Express train The Airport Express line runs for from New Delhi Railway Station to Dwarka Sector 21, linking the Indira Gandhi International Airport. The line was operated by Delhi Airport Metro Express Pvt. Limited (DAMEL), a subsidiary of Reliance Infrastructure, the concessionaire of the line till 30 June 2013 and is now being operated by DMRC. The line was constructed at a cost of , of which Reliance Infrastructure invested and will pay fees on a revenue-share model.
Instead they lie perpendicular, and at a far deeper level. The reasoning behind this is because the Heathrow Express line was tunnelled into Heathrow from the north, whereas the Piccadilly line approaches from the east. Access to the station is reached via an underground pedestrian walkway which links Terminal 3 to the Central Bus Station and the Piccadilly line's Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 station. Since May 2018, the station has been served by TfL Rail, part of the new Crossrail project, replacing the Heathrow Connect service.
Created in 1862, Lander County sprang forth as the result of a mining boom on the Reese River, along the old pony express line; taking a considerable portion of Churchill and Humboldt counties with it. Eventually, Lander County would be known as the "mother of counties" since three other counties in Nevada were formed from it: Elko, White Pine, and Eureka. Its first county seat was Jacob's Spring in 1862 which was soon after moved to Austin in 1863 and finally Battle Mountain in 1979.
An express train service is now under planning stage to connect Soekarno–Hatta International Airport with Halim Perdanakusuma Airport. Completion of this line is expected to be completed at the very earliest in 2019. At first this project was solely planned to be built as an express line between Manggarai Station at South Jakarta and Soekarno–Hatta International Airport via Angke and Pluit, which would be a public–private partnership project. Later the route was extended from Manggarai to Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, which is in East Jakarta.
The first Ramah camp was built on a site purchased by the Jewish Theological Seminary on Larsen's Bay. The property was a fishing village on the shores of Upper Lake Buckatabon owned by the Larsen family, dotted with small cabins and wild flowers. Multi-purpose buildings were quickly erected, and the first campers arrived by train on the Flambau Express line. According to Shom Sefor Klaff's interview for the 50th reunion (Klaff was a camper in 1947), a seaplane brought the weekly movie to the camp.
From 1997, it operated only between Erfurt and Stuttgart and from 2001 the service was cancelled altogether. In the timetable of 2009, the Mainfranken-Thüringen-Express runs on the line every two hours as Deutsche Bahn’s Regional-Express line 7 from Erfurt via Schweinfurt to Würzburg. Line STB4 of the Süd-Thüringen-Bahn runs every two hours from Erfurt to Meiningen, stopping at all stations, with additional services in the peak hour. There are also some additional Regional- Express services between Erfurt and Meiningen.
A Jōsō Line train, 2016 The is a railway line in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Kantō Railway. It is a non- electrified line which connects Toride to Shimodate. The Jōsō Line connects with the Tsukuba Express line, which opened in 2005, at Moriya Station, the only interchange other than at its two termini. In fiscal 1999, the Jōsō Line carried an annual total of 14.16 million passengers (38,000 per day), making it the busiest non-electrified private line in Japan.
Rhônexpress is an express line which will link Part-Dieu Villette to Saint- Exupéry airport, with intermediate stops at Vaulx-en-Velin - La Soie (transfer to Metro Line A) and Meyzieu ZI. It was scheduled to open in 2009. The Conseil général of the Rhône franchised the operation of this line for 30 years to Rhônexpress, a consortium including Vinci SA (28.2%), Veolia Transport (28.2%), Vossloh Infrastructure Service (4.2%), Cegelec Centre Est (2,8%) and the Caisse des dépôts et consignationsVille et transports - magazine, January 17, 2007.
Light-rail sets of classes GT8-100C/2S and GT8-100D/2S-M operate at least hourly between Germersheim and Wörth as Stadtbahn lines S51 (Germersheim–Wörth (Rhein)–Karlsruhe Albtalbf–Karlsruhe Europaplatz/Post Galerie (Karlstr.)) and S52 (Germersheim–Wörth (Rhein)–Karlsruhe Entenfang–Karlsruhe Marktplatz (Kaiserstraße)). Furthermore, Regional-Express line RE 4 runs every two hours over the Schifferstadt–Wörth railway from Mainz Hauptbahnhof to Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof. This only serves the stations of Schifferstadt, Speyer Hbf and Germersheim. In Germersheim, the trains change to the Bruhrain Railway to continue to Graben-Neudorf.
He was very successful at negotiating contracts with competing express companies that enabled the company to expand its services across a wide area, even though they jealously served by a variety of railroads. In 1888, as general superintendent he successfully linked up a through express line from the Atlantic Ocean in New York City to the Pacific at San Francisco. Valentine was appointed general superintendent at Wells Fargo's corporate headquarters in New York City in 1869. William Russell was in Leavenworth, Kansas when he heard the news. Believing that this gold rush was the start of heavy emigration to the region, Russell, together with his former partner John S. Jones, gathered new investors, borrowed money, and organized a stage and express line to run to Denver. The new service was called the Leavenworth City & Pike's Peak Express Company and transported "passengers, mail, freight, and gold" to and from the Pike's Peak area on a trail between the Republican and Smoky Hill forks of the Kansas River.

The Zagreb Glavni kolodvor–Sisak–Novska railway, officially designated the M502 railway is a railway line in Croatia connecting Zagreb to Sisak and Novska. It is a part of the Pan-European Corridor X. It was once a part of Orient Express line. The western terminus of the railway is located at Zagreb Glavni kolodvor, where it links to the M101, M102 and M202 lines, as well as a number of other railway within the Zagreb railway node. In Sisak, the railway forms a junction to the L210.
Plans for the restoration of the Canal Line were announced in 2000, and tracks were rebuilt from the foot of Canal Street out to the cemeteries. A branch line was created on North Carrollton Avenue, which had never before had streetcar service. Finally, the Canal streetcar line reopened April 18, 2004, almost 40 years after its close. It replaced multiple stop service on Canal in the Mid-City mostly except for a limited stop express line which ran all the way to the lake, which was eliminated suddenly due to Hurricane Katrina.
The opening of the border meant that Intercity trains again ran on the Fulda–Bebra route, while the opening of the high-speed line meant that almost all long-distance services between Hanover and Frankfurt am Main and Würzburg were abruptly lost. Since the 2007 timetable, the Bebra–Fulda railway has been served hourly by an Intercity- Express line on the Dresden–Leipzig–Eisenach–Erfurt–Frankfurt route (stopping every two hours in Bad Hersfeld). There are some additional Intercity services on the line during the day. But the line is mainly operated by freight trains.
Line 18 and Line 22 were originally planned as long-term projects, but the desire to promote development of the Nansha Free Trade Zone fast tracked the project for construction. Line 18 will be designed as an express line to provide a rapid transit link between Nansha District and the central urban area of Guangzhou. The planned travel time between Nansha Free Trade Zone and central Guangzhou is proposed to be 30 minutes. The government received a number of requests from the public to increase the number of stations along the line.
DMRC has stated that this was done to reduce the crowding on Blue line, diverting some of the Dwarka-bound passengers to Airport Express Line, which is underutilised and faster compared to the Blue Line. Interchanges are available with Yellow Line at New Delhi, Blue Line at Dwarka Sector 21, Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus metro station of Pink Line at Dhaula Kuan & with the Indian Railways network at New Delhi. A proposed expansion into the ECC Centre in Dwarka Sector 25 is expected to be completed between 2020 and 2021.
Yarm railway station serves the town of Yarm in the borough of Stockton-on- Tees and ceremonial county of North Yorkshire, England. The station is south west of Middlesbrough on the North TransPennine Express Line and is operated by TransPennine Express. The station re-opened in February 1996, replacing a former station further north that had closed in 1960 and is situated about a mile (1.6 km) south of the town's High Street. The old station building can still be seen, just north of the substantial brick viaduct that carries the line above the town.
In addition, express trains operated on the route, in some cases to/from Koblenz. In 1980, services of S-Bahn line S 14 (called S 8 service since 1995) commenced on the section between Wiesbaden Ost and Wiesbaden Central Station. In 1995, the Rhein-Main- Verkehrsverbund (Rhine-Main Transport Association, RMV) replaced the FVV, and simultaneously introduced the new Regional-Express line 90 (the former express trains were now rebranded as Regional-Expresses, abbreviated as RE), which used the Taunus Railway from Wiesbaden Central Station to Kostheim junction.
As a member of the team's "West Coast Express" line (alongside Markus Näslund and Todd Bertuzzi), Morrison enjoyed the most successful years of his career, posting three consecutive 60-point seasons. Following clashes between protesters and police on 31 August, an operation was held near the Hong Kong International Airport where the aim was to paralyse the airport by blocking approach roads and crowding the bus terminus in defiance of a court injunction on demonstrations in the airport. Roadblocks were set up, and riot police dispersed some of the protesters. Some activists trespassed onto the tracks of the Airport Express line, causing the suspension of services. Protesters later retreated to Tung Chung, with some spraying graffiti inside Tung Chung station.

Overland mail and express services were continued, however, by the coordinated efforts of several companies. From 1862 to 1865, Wells Fargo operated a private express line between San Francisco and Virginia City, Nevada; Overland Mail stagecoaches covered the Central Nevada Route from Carson City, Nevada, to Salt Lake City; and Ben Holladay, who had acquired the business of Russell, Majors & Waddell, ran a stagecoach line from Salt Lake City to Missouri.
In October 1989, the Hong Kong government decided to replace the over-crowded Kai Tak Airport, located in Kowloon, with a new airport to be constructed at Chek Lap Kok. The government also invited the Mass Transit Railway Corporation to build an express line to the airport. The project began when the Chinese and British governments settled the financial and land agreements in November 1994. The Lantau Airport Railway was developed as two separate MTR lines, the Tung Chung Line and the Airport Express, with the two lines sharing tracks in some sections.
Walnut–Locust/Avenue of the Arts (also Walnut–Locust) is a subway station on SEPTA's Broad Street Line in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The station is located between Walnut Street and Locust Street at 200 South Broad Street in the Avenue of the Arts district of Center City, Philadelphia. Walnut–Locust is served by local trains, special "sport express" trains, and is the southern terminus for express trains, which reverse direction on tracks immediately south of the station. On the "sport express" line, the station is the last stop before its terminus at the NRG station.
In the early 2000s, Rome's municipal administration decided to reduce car traffic and air pollution by strengthening urban public transport in central Rome, and particularly those forms of public transport powered by electric traction. The administration decided to improve the tram network (but in fact it was reduced), and by reintroducing trolleybuses on the most popular bus routes. On 23 March 2005, trolleybuses took over the operation of route 90 Express, and on 1 December 2008, the route 90D Express was established. On 18 June 2012, the Express Line 90D was suspended.
The I–270 Express Line, designated as Routes J7, J9, was an express bus route that was operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority between Bethesda station of the Red Line of the Washington Metro and Lakeforest Transit Center in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The line operated every 25–30 minutes during rush hours only with J7 trips taking roughly 25 minutes and J9 trips roughly taking 45 minutes. The route was discontinued due to low ridership and arrival of Ride On extRa (Route 101) on October 2, 2017.
The Laurel–Burtonsville Express Line, designated Route Z7, is an express peak hour-only bus route operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority between Silver Spring station, which is served by the Red Line of the Washington Metro, and South Laurel Park & Ride Lot in Laurel, Maryland. The line operates every 35–45 minutes during rush hours only in the peak direction with a few trips in the off-peak direction. Z7 trips are roughly 65 minutes long. This route provides service between Silver Spring and Laurel via Burtonsville by bus.
Since one of the largest shipyards in Austria-Hungary, the Stabilimento Tecnico Triestino in Trieste, was busy, Baron Gautsch and Prinz Hohenlohe were built at the Gourlay Brothers shipyard in Dundee, Scotland. The ship was named after the former Austrian Prime Minister and Interior Minister Paul Gautsch von Frankenthurn. Baron Gautsch and its sister ships were built for the so-called Dalmatian Express Line, a route that went south of the Austrian Riviera along the coast of Istria and Dalmatia. The home port of each ship was Trieste.

In Croatia, a contract to build the first phase of the Peljesac bridge and its access roads, signed by a Chinese consortium led by China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC). In Poland, the acquisitions of Huta Stalowa Wola civil engineering machinery division and KFLT Bearings Poland by Chinese companies. According to China Customs’ statistics, China's trade volume with CEEC totaled $67.98 billion in 2017, a 15.9 percent increase compared to that of 2016.
The backbone of the system, this route travels north from the pier and serves the major residential and commercial areas of Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, and El Segundo each day of the week. Connections are then provided to Plaza El Segundo and the University of West Los Angeles. The Aviation/LAX Station on the light rail's Green Line can also be reached, and the route terminates at the major transit center known as the LAX City Bus Center. This line was created when Metro Express line 439 was shortened to Aviation Station.
Passengers can only book train tickets using credit and debit cards, as well as electronic money via Railink app available for smartphones or vending machines at stations. An express line between Halim Perdanakusuma Airport and the airport is under planning stage, to be built by an investor as a public–private partnership. The express train will take 30 minutes to connect the airports. In early 2015, the government changed the fund from participation to not funding at all, so the contract for Rp 28 billion will be revised, including new rail express tariff.
The Abukuma Express Line opened on September 13, 1986 and linked Fukushima to Miyagi Prefecture in the north The Route 4 South Bypass opened on November 11, 1983, and the Fukushima Prefectural Museum of Art and Prefectural Library were completed on July 22, 1983. Fukushima hosted the first East Japan Women's Ekiden road relay race on November 24, 1985. On August 4 and 5 of 1986 the Abukuma River and its tributaries flooded due to Nakdōri receiving from 200 to 300 mm of rain from a typhoon. Cities and towns along the Abukuma River and its tributaries, Fukushima included, suffered 11 people killed or injured, and damage to 14,000 buildings. Later that year, on September 13, the Fukushima Azuma Stadium was completed. The Abukuma Express Line, a 54.9 km railway line linking Fukushima to Marumori in the north, began operations on July 1, 1988, and on November 12, the Yūji Koseki Memorial Museum was opened. The Surikamigawa Dam was officially completed on September 25, 2005 The Fukushima Mutual Bank changed its name to Fukushima Bank in February 1989, and on September 27 Route 115's 3,360 meter was opened. On July 1, 1992 the Yamagata Shinkansen opened, connecting Fukushima to Yamagata.
In 1994, the Rhine bridge between Rheinsheim and Germersheim was reduced to operations with only one track. At the same time Rheinsheim station was reduced to the status of a halt (Haltepunkt, that is it has no sets of points). In May 1994, the halt of Graben-Neudorf Nord was opened between Graben-Neudorf station and Huttenheim in order to improve access to the town of Neudorf. From the spring of 2000, the Regional-Express line was introduced on the Mainz–Germersheim–Karlsruhe route every two hours, which travelled over the Germersheim–Graben-Neudorf section of the Bruhrain Railway.
Route 210 was launched on March 1, 2017 as a new express line connecting Maryland's capital city and Eastern Shore to Downtown Baltimore. A segment of the new BaltimoreLink system, Route 210 connects Baltimore's employment centers (Johns Hopkins Hospital, Financial District, University of Maryland, Inner Harbor, and others) to the state government center in Annapolis via Interstate 97 and U.S. 50. In Kent Island, Route 210 stops at the Stevensville Park & Ride and Kent Narrows Park & Ride. Route 215 was launched in tandem with Route 210, as a reserved directional line traveling from Baltimore to Annapolis.
Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy station, view to the platform area A railway station, Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy, is located between the theme parks and Disney Village. It opened on 1 April 1992 and is notably served by regional express line RER A which provides a direct connection with the centre of Paris and for further connections, direct to Paris - Gare de Lyon. The railway station is also served by long-distance high-speed TGV and Ouigo trains offering direct services to many cities across France. There are services from and to London St Pancras International, Ebbsfleet International and Ashford International by Eurostar.

The part of the station for regional trains was opened on 28 May 2006 along with the new Berlin Hauptbahnhof, which also included a major reorganisation of the train services in and around Berlin. The station is served around half-hourly for most of the day by the Regional-Express line RE4, which runs between Rathenow and Jüterbog, and the RegionalBahn service RB10, from Nauen to Berlin Hbf. Before the Ringbahn was reactivated in this area, its platform B was used in the early 1990s as a terminus for regional trains.
Following this DMRC took over operations of Airport Express line from 1 July 2013 with an Operations and Maintenance team of 100 officials to handle the line. In Jan 2015, DMRC reported that Airport Metro has recorded about 30 percent rise in its ridership following the fare reduction of up to 40 percent in July last year On 14 September 2015 DMRC announced to reduce fares even further to improve the ridership of the line, the new fare structure will have maximum fare of ₹60 and minimum of ₹10 instead of ₹100 and ₹20 charged earlier, a reduction of about 40%.
72nd Street station cavern on the IND Second Avenue Line as of January 2012. The Second Avenue Subway, having been repeatedly delayed and shaved back from a six-track combined local/express line to a two-track superexpress line since 1919 (with occasional construction between 1972 and 1976), was launched in 2007. A tunnelling contract was awarded to the consortium of Schiavone/Shea/Skanska (S3) by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) on March 20, 2007.MTA Press Release March 20, 2007 This followed preliminary engineering and a final tunnel design completed by a joint venture between AECOM and Arup.
The airport is linked to the city through various means of transportation, and a ground transportation center was constructed beneath the terminal building for this purpose. Two underground railway stations (for Beijing–Xiong'an intercity railway and Intercity Railway Connector) and three metro stations (Daxing Airport Express, Line 20 (Line R4) and another planned metro line) were built beneath the terminal building. Currently, only one of the metro lines (Daxing Airport Express) and one of the railway lines (Beijing–Xiong'an intercity railway) are in operation. The airport is also served by a highway system including and connecting the airport and Beijing city.
He finished the season with 19 goals and 56 points over 82 games in 2005–06, as the Canucks failed to qualify for the playoffs. Head Coach Marc Crawford recalled that by the end of the season, the line of Morrison, Bertuzzi and Näslund had been surpassed as the top unit by Daniel and Henrik Sedin. The Paoli/Thorndale Line serves Overbrook and Wynnefield, and continues to the "Main Line" communities and Paoli. However, the Paoli/Thorndale does not stop anywhere between 30th Street and City Line Avenue, instead bypassing most of West Philadelphia ever since the closure of 52nd Street station. The Cynwyd Line is a limited-service express line from Center City to the Bala Cynwyd neighborhood of Lower Merion Township. Most of these passenger trips originate outside of the city, but more West Philly residents are using SEPTA's multi-ride "Transpass", which allows unlimited rides on SEPTA vehicles within the city limits.
Amuse Museum is located about 5 minutes' walk north-northwest of Asakusa Station on the Ginza Line and about 8 minutes from Asakusa Station on the Tsukuba Express line. There are two bus stops with a block of the museum. The Asakusa Shrine and Sensō-ji are located just west of the museum. Other nearby attractions within walking distance include Kaminarimon, Kyu-Iwasaki-tei Garden, the National Museum of Nature and Science, the National Museum of Western Art, Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, Tokyo National Museum, Ueno Zoo, and Ueno Park (which contains the four museums above, as well as the zoo).

It is ideal for low-cost wireframe operations, compared to more powerful, and expensive options for textured graphics. Part of SGI's Express line of graphics, four XS graphics options were produced for the Indigo: the XS-8 offers 8-bit color, with one VM2 video RAM module; the XS-Z adds the ZB-4 Z buffer; the XS-24 adds two VM2 modules and offers 24 color bits and 32 bits including brightness; and the XS-24Z adds a Z buffer.
Route Z7 was created on January 27, 1985 which operated between Silver Spring station and Burtonsville Crossing Park & Ride lot alongside route Z6 which operated to Calverton instead of Burtonsville. These buses operate alongside the Z lines consisting of routes Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4, and Z5. In the 1990s, Z7 was rerouted to operated under the Calverton Express Line alongside route Z17 replacing route Z6. Route Z7 and Z17 operated along Colesville Road, Columbia Pike, and Beltsville Drive with route Z7 diverting onto Colesville Road between Burtonsville Park & Ride and Columbia Pike and Industrial Parkway while route Z17 remaining on Columbia Pike.
MTR offers free shuttle bus services between Airport Express stations and hotels in the area, and free transfers are available to and from other MTR lines with a valid Octopus card which is not available to Single Ride Ticket users. Both Hong Kong and Kowloon stations provide in-town check-in services for major airlines. The Airport Express line originally terminated at Airport station, where trains open doors on both sides, allowing direct access to either Terminal 1 or Terminal 2. It was later extended to AsiaWorld–Expo Station on 20 December 2005 to facilitate the opening of the nearby AsiaWorld-Expo.
On 23 Jan 2008, the DMRC awarded a 30-year build-operate-transfer PPP contract to the Reliance Energy-CAF consortium. However, DMRC paid for half of the construction cost and executed tunneling and civil works. The elevated section of the Airport Express Line was built over eight busy roads which carry a heavy volume of traffic, including the Ring Road, National Highway 8, Ridge Road and Sardar Patel Marg. Originally scheduled to open by 31 August 2010, well in time for the 2010 Commonwealth Games, the line finally opened on 23 February 2011 at 2 pm after missing four previously set deadlines.
Some lines are divided into A and B Expresses. The B Express line is shorter and has stops that are closer to downtown, while the A Express makes stops further away from downtown and will make few or no stops in the area where the B Express stops. The 8 Bayshore, as the 8X Bayshore Express, was the only Express route that ran daily until April 25, 2015, the date where it is no longer an Express route. Rapid lines (having an R following their route number) stop at only a subset of the stops of their corresponding "standard" linetypically every third stop and at transfer points.
Booth had also been reportedly sought after by Vancouver for six months prior; the team conferred with alternate captain Ryan Kesler regarding Booth's character on and off the ice (the two grew up playing minor and junior hockey together). Joining Vancouver, he switched his jersey number from 10 to 7, in honor of his younger sister, Rachael, who also wears the number as a hockey player. Playing on the second line with countrymen Ryan Kesler and Chris Higgins, Booth formed a component of a scoring unit was nicknamed the "American Express" line. The unit had been occasionally shuffled, however, with Cody Hodgson replacing Higgins in some instances.
In long-distance traffic, the Intercity-Express line 25 (Munich–Hamburg) operates every two hours and line 41 (Munich–Ruhr district) every hour. In addition, services from Frankfurt to Vienna were greatly expanded in December 2007, with ICE-T services running every two hours from Frankfurt (some continuing from Dortmund) to Vienna and vice versa. The InterCity train pair, Rottaler Land, running from Hamburg to Passau and Mühldorf, unlike the other long-distance trains, also stopped in Neustadt (Aisch) on Saturdays until December 2014. Different ICE classes are used for the three ICE services; Intercity services are mostly operated as push–pull trains hauled by Class 101 and Class 120 locomotives.

It connects at Alzey with services on the Donnersberg Railway (Donnersbergbahn), operating as RB 47. The section between Alzey and Armsheim is also used by services on the Rheinhessen Railway from Bingen to Worms. As the line from Armsheim to Mainz is single-track only, services can be operated at most every half-hour, with oncoming trains forced to wait in stations, usually in Saulheim and Mainz-Marienborn (RB) or Mainz- Gonsenheim (RE).
The first motorized milk truck was used here. In 1916 Grey and Jensen moved to San Francisco and changed the company name to Golden State Creamery. Local Ferndale resident Andrew Genzoli began recording the history of the Ferndale dairies during this time, culminating in scrapbooks of newspaper clippings from 1910-1954, which are on file for viewing at Humboldt State University Special Collections. Ferndale was a crossroads village and provided lodging, horses, blacksmithing and other services both to individual travelers and the Overland Stage and Express line which ran from Eureka to Cloverdale with connections to San Francisco over 80 hours of traveling for a cost of $20.
The original schedule called for the line to begin operating in 2000, but delays in construction pushed the opening date to summer 2005. The line eventually opened on 24 August 2005. From the start of the revised timetable on 15 October 2012, new services were introduced in the morning (inbound services) and evening (outbound services) peak periods. In September 2013, a number of municipalities along the Tsukuba Express line in Ibaraki Prefecture submitted a proposal to complete the extension of the line to Tokyo Station at the same time as a new airport-to-airport line proposed as part of infrastructure improvements for the 2020 Summer Olympics.
The only place for trains to pass each other between Hennigsdorf and Kremmen is in Velten station. In Berlin area S-Bahn line S25 runs on the line to Hennigsdorf station, where there is a connection to Kremmen via Regionalbahn services and Regional-Express line RE6 (Prignitz- Express). This line runs from Berlin-Spandau via the western sector of the Berlin outer ring to Hennigsdorf, where it reverses on to the Kremmen line to Neuruppin and Wittenberge. In order to operate both AC and DC trains into Hennigsdorf it was decided to avoid electrifying the line there with both systems on the same piece of track.

Rhônexpress is an express line which links Gare Part-Dieu Villette to Saint-Exupéry airport, with intermediate stops at Vaulx-en-Velin - La Soie (transfer to Metro Line A) and Meyzieu ZI. It only serves four stations (including airport). The route is served by 6 tram trains, constructed by Swiss builder Stadler Rail. Its route consists of the existing T3 tram line, which is built with passing tracks to allow express service, and an new track extension from Meyzieu ZI to the airport. Total length of track is needing approximately 30 minutes to go from Part-Dieu to the airport.
Binhai Express Line (), or Line F1, known as Fuzhou–Changle Airport intercity railway () in the environmental impact assessment report, is a regional express metro service from Fuzhou Railway Station to Dahe, linking the traditional city center to the Binhai New Area. The phase 1 of the route is 62.4 km long with 13 stations. Unlike other metro line specifically serving Fuzhou Metropolitan area, this metro line is part of the Fupuning Regional Rapid Transit System to enhance the regional connectivity of 3 Metropolitan Areas. Due to its long span, only 13 station was proposed along the 62.4 km of routes and the maximum operating speed is 140 km/h.
Calgary's presence along the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) mainline (which includes the CPR Alyth Yard) makes the city an important hub of freight rail throughout the province. There is currently no inter-city or regional passenger rail serving the city. In June 2020, the Canada Infrastructure Bank signed a memorandum of understanding with the Government of Alberta to build a 130 kilometre inter-city rail line from downtown Calgary to Banff, and an express line from Calgary International Airport to downtown Calgary. Between 1955 and 1978, CPR operated a transcontinental passenger rail service called the Canadian, running between Toronto and Vancouver via CPR's right-of-way through Calgary.
SmartTrack was first proposed during John Tory's 2014 campaign for mayor. It had been changed with proposals made by city staff after Tory assumed office. The SmartTrack line as proposed would be 53 km long and run along Eglinton Avenue from Matheson/Airport Corporate Centre in Mississauga to Mount Dennis before turning downtown to Union Station. It would then run northeast through Scarborough to Unionville in Markham. 22 stations and interchanges with the Union Pearson Express, Line 1 Yonge–University, Line 2 Bloor–Danforth, Line 5 Eglinton, and GO Transit were proposed. Tory estimated ridership would be 200,000 passengers a day, would cost $8 billion and be in service by 2022.
The Greenbelt–BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport Express Line (commonly shortened to the Greenbelt–BWI Airport Line), designated Route B30, is a weekday-only bus route operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority between Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and the Greenbelt station of the Green and Yellow Lines of the Washington Metro. The line operates every 70 minutes five days a week along the Baltimore–Washington Parkway between these two locations with no intermediate stops, with the exception of the BWI Business District Light Rail Stop, and Arundel Mills Mall and the last bus leaving BWI at 10:09 pm. The trip is approximately 50 minutes long.
On December 3, 1978, shortly after Deanwood station opened, R12 was truncated even further to only operate up to Deanwood station discontinuing service to Stadium–Armory station. Route R11 and R15 were rerouted to operate as a brand new express route between Beltway Plaza Mall (R11)/Greenbelt Center (R15) and New Carrollton station, running primarily along via Greenbelt Road, Cherrywood Lane, Kenilworth Avenue, the Capital Beltway, and John Hanson Highway. As a result of these changes, R11 & R15 were split their own separate line as the, "Greenbelt-New Carrollton Express Line" while R12 remained a part of its own line, which was renamed the, "Kenilworth Avenue Line".
Line 457 was a rush-hour only express line operating from Downtown Los Angeles (corner of Temple Street and Los Angeles Street) to the Marina Shores Shopping Center at the corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Westminster Avenue in Belmont Shore. It also served a Park-n-Ride lot at the Long Beach Airport. From Los Angeles, it traveled on southbound Interstate 5, southbound Interstate 710 and southbound Interstate 405, exiting at Lakewood Boulevard in Long Beach. It first headed north on Lakewood Boulevard for the Long Beach Airport Park-n-Ride before traveling south on Lakewood Boulevard, through the Long Beach Traffic Circle and Ximeno Avenue, and turning east on Second Street to Belmont Shore.
The line was created in 1978 when Silver Spring station opened as the Greencastle-Briggs Chaney Express Line in order to provide express service from Silver Spring to Fairland. Routes Z11 and Z13 will operate between Silver Spring and the Greencastle Park & Ride Lot via Columbia Pike, Castle Boulevard, Colesville Road, Briggs Chaney Road,, and Greencastle Road. Main differences for routes Z11 and Z13 was route Z11 would serve Briggs Chaney Park & Ride, while route Z13 would skip the Briggs Chaney Park & Ride and run along Ballinger Drive, Wexhall Drive, and Greencastle Road while route Z13 skips both the Briggs Chaney Park & Ride and #14000 Castle Boulevard and remains on Ballinger Drive and turn onto Greencastle Road instead.
The line originated as an intercity rail service, then known as the Kowloon-Canton Railway British Section, that formerly extended into Guangdong in Mainland China. Even after the line was electrified and modernized in the early 1980s and its trains were converted to provide high-capacity, metro-style service the following decade, the fourth compartment from the north end of each trainset retained its original seating layout as a First Class compartment. In 2007, the line became part of the MTR network, and it remains the only railway line in the region to offer a separate first-class service (though the Airport Express line provides a similar travel experience in all its carriages).
RTC Transit Route(s) 113 (and the MAX, before February 2016, when it was decommissioned) serves the road from Downtown Las Vegas north to Nellis Air Force Base, The Deuce serves the Road from Downtown Las Vegas south to Mandalay Bay (except from 12:30 am local time to 9:00 am local time where it continues further south to the South Strip Transfer Terminal (SSTT)). South of Circus Circus, alongside it runs the SDX (Strip & Downtown Express) which runs from 9am to 12:30am as a limited stop express line. Route 117 serves the road south from the SSTT past the Las Vegas Premium Outlet South store, the South Point Casino and Silverado Ranch Blvd.
Apart from politicians, such as the Baden Foreign Minister, Alexander von Dusch, the Minister for the Interior, Karl Friedrich Nebenius and Frederick Rettig, officials, mayors and officers of the town guards (Bürgerwehr) of the local towns travelled on a train hauled by the locomotive, Zähringen, with musical accompaniment by the guards regiment, which had already travelled over the line. When the train arrived in Freiburg at 12.40, Mayor Friedrich WagnerGreß, p. 7. welcomed the guests at the still unfinished station building, while cannons on the Schlossberg fired a salute. As early as August 1845, 1,474 passengers used the new express-line carriages to Freiburg and 1,682 passengers departed the city by train, which now operated five services per day.
The Indian Parliament on 25 February 2009 authorised the provision of Central Industrial Security Force security to private and cooperative establishments across the country for a fee with the passage of the CISF (Amendment) Bill, 2008. The Bill, which was passed by Rajya Sabha on 19 February and Lok Sabha on 25 February 2009, also provides for deployment of CISF to protect Indian missions abroad and its participation in the UN peacekeeping operations. CISF started providing security to the Infosys Bangalore and Pune campus on 31 July 2009. The Infosys Mysore, the Reliance Refinery, Jamnagar and the Delhi Metro Airport Express Line are the latest additions to the list of private sector establishments to be placed under CISF cover.
This bus rapid transit service offers limited stops on many of the county's more heavily traveled arterial streets. Metro claims to reduce passenger commute times by up to 25% by several methods, among them a headway-based schedule so that drivers are not held up at certain stops and signal priority for Rapid buses. A Metro Express bus on Line 577X (San Gabriel River Frwy.) at CSULB in Long Beach Metro Express Line 460 serves Knott's Berry Farm Metro Express buses used to be painted in a dark blue color which the agency had formerly dubbed “Business Blue”, with routes designed as premium, minimal stop services along Los Angeles's extensive freeway network.
In 1988 the first regular interval regional rapid train service was established from Dortmund via Essen, Duisburg and Düsseldorf to Cologne. This operated hourly on the Cologne–Duisburg and Dortmund–Duisburg lines, which even then were the most important railway lines for passenger traffic in North Rhine-Westphalia. With the introduction of high-speed regional services in the early 1990s, this line was named the NRW-Express (originally numbered RSB 1; from 1995 it was redesignated as Stadt-Express line SE 1) and ran from Bielefeld via Hamm, Dortmund, Essen, Duisburg, Düsseldorf and Cologne to Aachen. With the extension of the service on the Hamm–Bielefeld and Cologne–Aachen lines, the service soon had insufficient capacity.

Metro Express Line 460 serves Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California located in the Orange County, California Metro created a separate brand for its express routes in 2003 as the agency introduced a new branding, including separate paint scheme for buses. Metro had proposed giving Metro Express buses a crisp blue color (referred to by Metro as "Business Blue"). Buses in this color scheme rolled out on two new "premium express" lines (routes 450X and 577X) that would operate between major transportation hubs or activity centers with very few stops and no local operations.
It was used in city buses, including trolleybuses, and road coaches, in cities like São Paulo, Curitiba, Porto Alegre, Campinas, Sorocaba and Belo Horizonte. Also, in 1992, B58E was Brazil's first bi-articulated chassis, and the first 33 operated in Curitiba as Express Line Buses. In Australia the B58 was popular with government operators. Two tracks were built on the northern side of the line for a platform planned but never built due to the outbreak of World War II. Kirkham Station signalbox which was located in between the Up (Salwick bound) Fast and the Down Fast line was demolished during resignalling operations in 1977. The same scheme also abolished Treales signalbox. To the west of the station, Kirkham North Junction is where the suburban branch line to Blackpool South follows the Fylde coast through Lytham, Ansdell and Fairhaven, St Annes on Sea; the main line to proceeds via Poulton. Between 1903 and 1965 there was a third express line, the "Marton Line", which went straight to and beyond to .
A February 20, 2007, article in the San Francisco Chronicle. All Muni lines run inside San Francisco city limits, with the exception of several lines serving locations in the northern part of neighboring Daly City, and the 76X Marin Headlands Express line to the Marin Headlands area on weekends and major holidays. Most intercity connections are provided by BART and Caltrain heavy rail, AC Transit buses at the Transbay Terminal, and Golden Gate Transit and SamTrans downtown. Bus and car stops throughout the city vary from Metro stations with raised platforms in the subway and at the more heavily used surface stops, to small shelters to signposts to simply a yellow stripe on a utility pole or on the road surface.
The idea for a 14th Street express line came as far back as 2012. In 2011, WMATA teamed up with the DC Department of Transportation to study the 14th Street corridor with the biggest conclusion being an express service. The study concluded that express bus service on the 14th Street line (it called express service “limited-stop bus service”) would benefit riders: The advantages to this proposal are that this service would not only enhance route capacity, but would also improve service frequencies at bus stops served by the limited stop service (service frequency at local-only stops would not be impacted). It would also reduce travel times for passengers able to utilize the bus stops that would be served by the limited stop service.
Tân Ấp station is a railway station on the North–South railway (Reunification Express) line in Vietnam. It serves the town of Tân Ấp in Quảng Bình Province.DANH SÁCH CÁC TUYẾN ĐƯỜNG SẮT VÀ GA. From 1933, the station also served as a terminus of the Tân Ấp–Xóm Cục railway, the only stretch of railway opened as part of the aborted Thakhek–Tân Ấp railway. It is uncertain when this stretch of railway was closed, but part, if not all of the railway was reopened by North Vietnam in the 1960s as part of their efforts to aid Vietcong guerillas travelling southwards along the Hồ Chí Minh trail, which begins just south of Xóm Cục in the Mụ Giạ Pass.
In 1842, HIJSM began acquiring land for the Haarlem-Leiden Railway, the first railway line in the Netherlands. One parcel of land, located near the town of Zandvoort, was owned by local property developer A.H.J van Wickevoort Crommelin, who agreed to sell it to the railway company provided that they build a station serving the town, which he had plans to develop into a seaside resort. The HIJSM declined his request on the basis that the Haarlem-Leiden Railway was to be an express line with no intermediate stops at all. In light of this, Crommelin agreed to sell the land without the obligation to add a stop, assuming that stagecoaches would continue to serve intermediate points such as Zandvoort in the absence of railway stations.
Whilst planning the City S-Bahn and network extensions of the 1960s, the German railway thought of building an S-Bahn line S4. This line will Altona in a north westerly direction towards Itzehoe via Elmshorn, being an Express line until Pinneberg. To the east of the city, the new line should have travelled with the current S1 and S11 to Hasselbrook and from there further to the northeast direction via Wandsbek to Ahrensburg along the existing regional train line. Only the eastern part of the line from Hauptbahnhof was implemented, as a regional railway line, which was designated a S-Bahn line, since the HVV did not offer travel with regional railways at the time, but wanted its fare system to be valid on the line.
Rome's overground rail transport comprises the tramway network, suburban and urban lines in and around the city of Rome, plus an "express line" to Fiumicino Airport. Whereas most FS-Regionale lines (Regional State Railways) provide a largely suburban service with more than twenty stations scattered throughout the city, a metro-like service is provided by the Roma-Lido (starting at Ostiense station) and Roma-Nord (starting at Flaminio station) rail lines, but with lower frequencies than Metro lines, as the Rome–Giardinetti light rail line. There is also the Lazio regional railways, a commuter rail system with seven lines which link the suburbs of the Rome Metropolitan Area. One of these lines serves the second airport of the city, Ciampino.
The project involves the construction of a 1,570 km rail line from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City comprising 27 stations. The project is planned to be implemented in three phases: Hanoi to Vinh City (285 km); Vinh City to Nha Trang (896 km); and Nha Trang to Ho Chi Minh City (364 km). The express line would be built as a double-track standard gauge of 1.435m line with a design speed of 300 km/h. Existing railway lines are to be upgraded, with priority given to modernizing the north–south line to increase the average speed to 80–90 km/h for passenger trains and 50–60 km/h for goods trains and improving transport capacity and quality.
By the 1840s, the New York Herald (founded by Bennett in 1835) had developed an express route from Albany, New York (the capital of the state of New York) to New York City. Bennett knew that telegraph lines were being built, but had rebuffed attempts to sell him on its merits, as he favored his established methods and the advantage it gave him over his competition. But in January 1847, the New York Evening Express accepted the offer of Ezra Cornell to use his new telegraph line from Albany to New York to get legislative news, and the Express was able to publish a new message from the governor in advance of the Herald pony express line.(26 November 1886).

The number of banking and express offices grew from 436 in 1871 to 3,500 at the turn of the century. During this period, Wells Fargo also established the first Transcontinental Express line, using more than a dozen railroads. The company first gained access to the lucrative East Coast markets beginning in 1888; successfully promoted the use of refrigerated freight cars in California; had opened branch banks in Virginia City, Carson City, and Salt Lake City, Utah by 1876; and opened a branch bank in New York City by 1880.
A new master plan for the city will see many high-rise buildings, including skyscrapers, built in certain, designated areas of downtown Jerusalem. Under the plan, towers will line Jaffa Road and King George Street. One of the proposed towers along King George Street, the Migdal Merkaz HaYekum, is planned as a 65-story building, which would make it one of the tallest buildings in Israel. At the entrance to the city, near the Jerusalem Chords Bridge and the Central Bus Station, twelve towers rising between 24 and 33 stories will be built, as part of a complex that will also include an open square and an underground train station serving a new express line between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, and will be connected by bridges and tunnels.

Universal Express Pass - commonly referred to as Universal Express on park signage, and as Express Pass by team members and guests - admits users to a separate line for the attraction, which is given priority status when boarding. Universal Express Pass is not a virtual queuing service, where users receive a specific time to return to the priority line. Instead, guests who have purchased (or otherwise received) the pass may enter the "Universal Express" line for a considerably shortened queueing time.
The Campbelltown Express Clearway would have separated the section of the East Hills Line west of Revesby by quadruplicating between Kingsgrove and Revesby and sending express trains to the City Circle via Sydenham. This was to allow more frequent express services to the City, relieve pressure on other parts of the network and improve the distribution of passengers. On the Airport & South Clearway, express services would have begun at Glenfield and made their way through Liverpool, Cabramatta, Granville, Lidcombe and Strathfield stations to the City Circle, while all-stations services to the City started at Homebush.Planned major Clearway routes CityRail After passing through the City Circle, trains would have headed south-west via the Airport Line to Revesby (running parallel with the Campbelltown Express line from Wolli Creek to Revesby).
The Riedbahn, the Main-Neckar Railway and the Mannheim–Heidelberg line are at their capacity limits due to the high level of long-distance passenger, regional passenger and freight traffic. The connections and cycle times of the S-Bahn must therefore be based on the few remaining train paths on the routes, especially since the longed-for relief that would be provided by the planned Frankfurt–Mannheim high-speed railway has receded into the future. According to the tenders, the originally planned "around the corner" connection of the two branches to Biblis and Bensheim in Mannheim was rejected as well as the connection from Mainz via Mannheim to Eppingen and Aglasterhausen. Previously, considerations of operating this service between Mannheim Hauptbahnhof and Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof as an express line without intervening stops had already been rejected.
This ferry is the fastest in the province of Quebec, crossing the river in only 55 minutes.
