John Sheahan was born in Dublin on 19 May 1939. His father, a native of Glin, County Limerick, was a member of the Garda Síochána (the Irish Police Force) stationed in Dublin. He is the great-nephew of Patrick Sheahan, a Dublin Metropolitan Policeman, who in 1905 died trying to save the life of a pipe workman who was overcome by toxic exhalations in a sewer on Hawkins Street, Dublin, where a memorial statue stands today. He went to school to the local Christian Brothers in Marino, Dublin, where he received his first musical education, learning the tin whistle.

Both he and his follower/successor Theophrastus speculated that plastic forces within the earth had turned animals into fossils of stone. In the medieval Islamic world, Avicenna (979 to 1039 CE), in his The Book of Healing (1027), offered an explanation of how the stoniness of fossils was caused. Aristotle previously explained it in terms of vaporous exhalations, which Avicenna modified into the theory of petrifying fluids (succus lapidificatus), which was elaborated on by Albert of Saxony in the 14th century and accepted in some form by most naturalists by the 16th century.

However, as Donald sleeps, his exhalations cause the tree branch to lose hold of the pine's branch, causing it to hit the air mattress pump (with the hose still attached to the mattress valve) and wobble up and down with the handle, pumping fast and strong. This causes Donald's mattress to get excessively inflated until it pops off and takes flight, deflating rapidly in mid-air while Donald continues to sleep. As the mattress deflates, it propels Donald all the way back to the Hold-Up Motel, landing right on the porch cot.

Wells in 1934, which describes what happens to respiratory droplets once they have been exhaled into air. Coughing, sneezing, and other violent exhalations produce high numbers of respiratory droplets derived from saliva and/or respiratory mucus, with sizes ranging from about 1 µm to 2 mm. Wells' insight was that such droplets have two distinct fates, depending on their sizes. The interplay of gravity and evaporation means that droplets larger than a humidity-determined threshold size fall to the ground due to gravity, while droplets smaller than this size quickly evaporate, leaving a dry residue that drifts in the air.

He rejected the ideas of several earlier philosophers that comets were planets, or at least a phenomenon related to the planets, on the grounds that while the planets confined their motion to the circle of the Zodiac, comets could appear in any part of the sky. In the Monterey Bay area, focal follows of minke whales showed that they respired an average of 3.74 times during a surfacing sequence. These short duration dives averaged 37.8 seconds and were followed by a long duration dive of an average of 4.43 minutes. In the San Juan Islands, the number of exhalations and the duration of dives depended on whether the whale was lunge feeding or feeding with birds. In the former method of feeding, whales made short dives – about 22 seconds long – up to seven times in rapid succession before making a long dive of about 3.8 minutes, while during the latter method they made longer short dives of about 65 seconds followed by shorter long dives of about 1.5 minutes.

The materials Soulié uses in his paintings are very constant, varnish, carborundum powder mixed with acrylic painting are his trademark since 1992 with his first series of painted photographs from Africa. These materials are specific products not originally intended for fine arts that he adopted from his immediate surroundings when his studio was located in Paris Bastille neighborhood, at this time dominated by craftsman activities assembling furniture. The use of carborundum in his paintings links back to the volcano installations: the silicon component of the artificial compound is in nature, as pure crystals, only found in volcanic exhalations. The technique of painted photographs, or “photo-paintings” as he labels them, are based on large scale black and white photographs taken during his travels across the world that he covers with ink, acrylic, varnish and carborundum.

In November 1879, concerns were raised that the proposed location near the Ululah Lagoon was too far from the town and close to a pub with a site in Kent Street near the original land reserve being preferred. On March the 20th, the state of public health emergency was renewed and the prohibition of assemblies was extended to outdoor activities with limited exceptions. Social distancing is introduced through the “2 meters rule”, as part of the guidelines set by the WHO and other health agencies. The rule can be traced back to the 1930s and was created out of the belief that large droplets emitted by exhalations (sneezing, talking, breathing), do not travel beyond this distance, and do not remain suspended in the air. On March 21, the Société des alcools du Québec (SAQ) announced that its stores would begin closing on Sundays.

In more recent years, Classic Rock reviewer Rob Hughes praised "the purring harmonies, the extraordinary songcraft of frontman Gene Clark and the smooth exhalations of what became the California folk-rock sound", despite the fact that the Byrds had "yet to become competent musicians".
