There he encounters Kindergarten director Anna Gotzlowski (Tschirner), who grew up in the same neighborhood as Ludo and frequently endured his pranks and mockery. She exacts revenge for these childhood torments by assigning him to perform humiliating tasks.

When Stoker's remaining group encounters Krendal, she initially tries to capture and dispose of them, but she is forced to work together with them to survive when the monster attacks again. Riley holds on to Carling as they drive away, but soon falls in the parking lot and sees Drake and Hunt leave the scene. Riley exacts revenge against Hunt and Drake, having his henchmen beat Hunt with bats Drake hides behind her couch when they break into her darkened flat; instead of searching the flat, they merely destroy her television and depart. The next morning, Hunt seeks solace in a jail cell to plot his retribution,. and refuses to promise Drake that he will do it the right way.

Matt's employers send him on another mission, however, but as fate would have it, Swamp Thing's travels bring him to the same location: Bürgess Town, Vermont. Matt and Abby are taken hostage by The Conclave, the same criminal organization that created the Swamp Thing by the act of sabotage that took Alec Holland's life and caused the transformation of his corpse into a supernatural elemental form. Swamp Thing succeeds in rescuing Matt and Abby from their captors' sadistic torture of them in Gotham City, and exacts revenge on his enemies, even confronting the Batman. Sometime after Abby's 18th birthday in late 1973, she and Matt spend time healing and swimming at a Florida beach.

Later, a shootout takes place with Simon and Shorty being killed, Caldwell, wounded, forces Jason to walk back to the club at gunpoint. Being in the club, a video is played showing Caldwell killing Simon and Shorty & is promptly arrested. During the last scene, Jason has paid off his debt & Crash & Nut tell him that the only reason they done what they did to him was "just business", Nut tells Jason that "playoffs are starting" but Jason declines the offer and Crash tells him to be careful as others are going to wonder where he got so much money. Nut & Jason have an exchange where Jason exacts revenge for all the pain Nut has caused him.

The very ending of the episode, where the iris appears, is an allusion to the Looney Tunes cartoons, with Cartman assuming the role of the stuttering Porky Pig, delivering his signature line "That's all folks!" The use of the Looney Tunes ending has been seen as an ironic reinforcement of the fact that the episode's tragic plot has overstepped the established boundaries of cartoon comedy. It also has been viewed as a reminder about the fact that even the classic cartoons had "a dark side in their own right." The plot of "Scott Tenorman Must Die" has been compared to that of the Shakespeare tragedy Titus Andronicus, in which the humiliated protagonist also exacts revenge by feeding his enemies their own relatives.

While absent from season 3 except for archived footage from "iBloop", Nevel returns in the season 4 episode "iPity The Nevel" where he pleas the iCarly gang to restore his reputation after a video of him yelling at a little girl goes viral. They help him, but another video of Nevel losing his temper with a man in a wheelchair goes viral and ruins his image. Resurfacing in "iHalfoween", the iCarly gang not helping him with the backlash from the second viral video, Nevel exacts revenge by giving Carly and Sam candies that made their voices very deep, and later framed Freddie for it.

After the ordeal, Ryan's second child Jack Ryan Jr. was born.

Steve Fleming, while not as feared as Malcolm (mostly due to the fact that, unlike Tucker, he seldom swears), is nonetheless infamous throughout the party for his obsequious, unctuous personality (which is once described by Ollie Reeder as "Obsessive Repulsive Disorder"). He is shown to frequently lose his temper and lash out when faced with any opposition from his co-workers, implying he is mentally unbalanced. Tucker and Fleming harbour a mutual hatred, going back to when the former forced the latter to resign in 2003 (Tucker's diaries from The Missing DoSAC Files implies this hatred goes back even before then). Fleming exacts revenge on Tucker by forcing him to resign by informing the press before telling Malcolm; ironically the same way Tucker had forced Fleming to resign previously.

His ending is a near-duplicate of that in Deadly Alliance in that he exacts revenge on Shang Tsung by killing him with his sword. In Mortal Kombat X, Kenshi is part of a task force consisting of Earthrealm survivors Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade, with the assistance of their mentor, Raiden and fellow god, Fujin, leading Special Forces and Shaolin armies against Shinnok and Quan Chi's force during the Netherrealm War, personally defeating Nightwolf. In the following years, he discovers he has an illegitimate son named Takeda with his former lover, Suchin, but after she is killed by Red Dragon forces, Kenshi leaves Takeda in Hanzo Hasashi's care for training and protection while he goes to avenge Suchin's death. This strains the relationship between Takeda and Kenshi, but the two reconcile in a flashback during the main story, with Kenshi teaching Takeda how to use his telepathic abilities in the intervening years.

However, upon his re- instatement by key figures in the party (most notably Julius Nicholson), Tucker exacts revenge on Steve by forcing Nicholson to pass the full blame of a recent scandal to Fleming in his inquiry report, forcing him to resign from his position after less than a week. Stewart Pearson is equally, if not more unpleasant than his fellow spin doctors, but not nearly as feared by his party or his opponents. Devoid of morals or competence by comparison, he is a cool, calm man who doesn't usually raise his voice and hides his intellectual mediocrity behind a hip, pseudo-modern political jargon, filled with bizarre buzzwords that no one understands; Adam Kenyon complains that he "need[s] subtitles" in order to be understood. His petulant disposition, indifference for colleagues' and subordinates' opinions, his "touchy-feely" managing style and his entirely unjustified arrogance make his work-colleagues (and Whitehall as a whole) despise him.

During his time in the countryside, Carl is introduced to hippie weed manufacturer "The Truth", aids Cesar's cousin Catalina in performing a number of robberies, being dumped by her after a racing competition, and takes part in two illegal street races where he meets and befriends a blind Chinese-American Triad leader, Wu Zi "Woozie" Mu. After his brief stay in the countryside, Carl and his associates head north for San Fierro, where they establish a vehicle chop shop and dealership. Carl works for the local Triads, strengthening his ties with Woozie and his superior Ran Fa Li in the process, and infiltrates and destroys San Andreas' largest drug cartel, the Loco Syndicate, which had been supplying the Ballas with drugs. With some help from Cesar and the Triads, Carl exacts revenge on Ryder by killing him during a meeting with the Loco Syndicate, alongside two of the syndicate's leaders, Jizzy B. and T-Bone Mendez. Following the destruction of the Loco Syndicate, Carl is contacted by its main leader, Mike Toreno, revealed to be an undercover government agent.
