Subsequently, ten bike-friendly Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 MMC vehicles were delivered towards the end of 2019, with a further ten being delivered in February 2020, at a cost of £3.25 million. These vehicles currently operate on routes 253, X62 and X95, and feature free WiFi, audio- visual next stop announcements, leather seats, tables and charging points. In March 2020, it was announced that Borders Buses was granted a five-year contract, valued at £4 million, to commercially operate the remaining Scottish Borders Council core bus network – including the operation of routes 51, 52, 60, 67 and 68.
Promotional materials describe it as an ongoing, full- interior, mixed-media, enviro-installation, with a collection of the artist's ballpoint pen originals sharing the space with site specific installations incorporating imaginative arrangements of his patron's other otaku collections. Three mannequin-like creations with elaborately fabricated hairstyles, all commissioned by Ales, were entered into a national design competition in 2004. One of them, a cyber-punk rendition very different from Mace's 2D artwork, went on to win the Grand Prize. Another mammoth Ales commission was a full interior mural done in paint for the company's Sugar salon — a rare occasion of Mace creating figurative imagery using a medium other than ballpoint pen, at a scale he'd never before attempted.
CSLP supports Education for Sustainable Development, and is working to provide educational opportunities for children, youth and adults on climate change, renewable energy technologies, ecology, sustainable living and sustainable agriculture. The main projects involved have been the Sustainable Rural Alternatives Seminar Series, the creation of a resource library, and the Climate Change Awareness and Action Pilot Project in the Davidson School Division (which is now part of the Sun West School Division). CSLP representatives have been invited to trade fairs, enviro-forums, ecofairs and other functions to highlight their work. Promotion of the project has also been advanced through the website, brochures, and articles written for local newspapers and other publications like the Regina EcoLiving Guide.

Stagecoach in Lancashire was the trading name of Ribble Motor Services Ltd and operated services around the Central Lancashire area, serving Preston, Chorley, Bolton and Blackburn (formerly Stagecoach Ribble). The company also operated Network Chorley, which provided transport around the Chorley area. In 2006 Stagecoach started to increase services in Preston under the name Stagecoach Preston Citi, using mainly Optare Solos and Dennis Enviro 400s, in competition with the established operator, Preston Bus. Stagecoach duplicated some Preston Bus routes, such as 19 and 22 to Royal Preston Hospital, 11 to Gamull Lane and 16 to Farringdon Park, as well as introducing new services such as the 32 to Larches and Savick and services to Tanterton and Ingol.
Some daytime X6 buses now stop at the K Village shopping centre on the way into Kendal. The return fare from Ulverston to Kendal is currently £6.90, as of September 2017. The 62, 62A and 62B service to Kingmoor Park is also subsidised by Cumbria County Council, as of 2006. In January 2008, the flagship 555/6 route from Keswick - Lancaster was upgraded to Dennis Trident/ALX400 operation. A further upgrade took place in October 2011, this time to brand new Scania N230UD/Enviro400s which, along with the open top ALX400s on routes 78, 508 and 599, operate in a green version of the corporate livery. In June/July 2016, the route 555 Scania N230UDs were replaced by brand new ADL E40D (ADL Enviro 400MMC).
This Sunday and Bank Holiday service no longer operates to Grimsby or Cleethorpes, and only runs as far as Humberside Airport from Hull where the route then returns to Hull. The route more recently was known as the HumberFlyer, with the service earning its own branding on a select few ADL Enviro 300s, operated by Stagecoach Hull and Stagecoach Grimsby Cleethorpes. The route had to be renumbered 250 to follow given guidelines but the route is still ran using E300s today, and operates from Cleethorpes, then to Grimsby, Laceby, Humberside Airport, Barton-on-Humber, and then into Hull where the route returns to either Humberside Airport or Cleethorpes. With the new Stagecoach Livery, the HumberFlyer branding is slowly being faded out for Stagecoach Local.

The TransBus Enviro300 was launched in 2001 by TransBus International, becoming the first member of the Enviro range; with the collapse of TransBus in 2004, successors Alexander Dennis took over production and rebranded the Enviro300 as the Alexander Dennis Enviro300.Our History Alexander DennisNews from Coach and Bus 2003 Bus & Coach Professional 10 October 2003 In 2005, a school bus version was launched.ADL schoolbus on tour Bus & Coach Professional 27 May 2005 A common design was used primarily that the bus has a single-curvature windscreen with a peaked roof dome and a separately mounted destination sign. The bus was developed to compete with the European-built heavy-weight single- decker buses sold in the United Kingdom, the most notable being Volvo.
This door layout was achieved by placing the engine vertically at the rear offside together with other driveline components, which also created a full low floor layout, common on buses in Continental Europe. The vehicle also incorporated an "Enviro Pack", intended to vent exhaust emissions, noise and heat away from ground level and thus alighting passengers. The innovative design meant that the Enviro200 could hold up to 25% more passengers than a vehicle of equivalent dimensions (10.4m long, 2.4m wide), with a capacity of 77, with 27 seated. left A single demonstrator of the hybrid variant, the Enviro200H, was produced in 2004 and entered long-term trials in London; however the unconventional engine and door layout, combined with the collapse of TransBus International in 2004, led to the type's commercial failure.
Reversing the earlier focus on the integration of environmental knowledge into broader state projects of socio-economic management, here it is these projects themselves which are reshaped by new forms of environmental knowledge (specifically the concepts of "ecology" and "sustainability"). It is this new structure that becomes known as Ecogovernmentality. Luke argues that heightened awareness of social vulnerability to environmental factors coupled with the increased importance of macro-economic competition (rather than Cold- War military confrontation) in geo-political power struggles led to the rise of sustainable development as the synthesis of these two interrelated concerns. The disciplinary power of governmentality is refigured as "enviro- discipline", a broader concept that "expresses the authority of eco- knowledgeable, geo-powered forces to police the fitness of all biological organisms and the health of their natural environments" (146).
Strange Nature received mixed reviews from critics. It holds an approval rating of 43% on the aggregate review site Rotten Tomatoes, based on seven reviews, with an average rating of 4.35/10. Freddy Beans of Ain't It Cool News called it an "awesome little horror gem" and a "brilliant freshman effort" for director Ojala, commending the "fantastic" cinematography and creature effects and concluding "I can't explain how much I really enjoyed my time watching this unique experience". Horror magazine Rue Morgue delivered most of its praise onto the film's ensemble cast, namely its "three- dimensional characterizations" and Lisa Sheridan's performance, describing the overall film as "[weaving] threads of Erin Brockovich, It's Alive, and Cabin Fever into a quirky, nasty, sometimes inspiring tapestry of unlikely-hero- vs.-enviro-terror".
The school also offers its students a wide range of extracurricular activities in athletics and service clubs. School teams compete in badminton, basketball, cross country running, football, baseball, hockey, rowing (through an association with the Brockville Rowing Club), rugby, soccer, track and field, and volleyball. Other extracurricular opportunities include a Student Council, a Yearbook Club, the Sound and Lighting Crew, Reach for the Top teams (which have placed as high as fourth provincially), the Rambotics Robotics Club, Math teams, the Enviro-Club, the United Nations Club, Ontario Students against drunk driving, and a Grad Club. In November 2010 the Senior Football team defeated Smith Falls 12–0 to win the EOSSAA championship, while doing so they became the first BCI squad to advance to the National Capital Bowl, held at Trent University in Peterborough.
"It's a six-still camera rig that's built on a pipe rig so that you can run it in at the end of a setup and get stills of key frames of a performance or an expression," said Desjardin, "and then we could use those hi-res stills to project onto the CG double and get really accurate transition lighting and color—right from the set." On set, a camera rig was used to capture the environment of the sequence. Dubbed "enviro-cam", the visual effects crew would mount a Canon EOS 5D and a motorized nodal head, allowing the crew to capture the environment at a 360-degree angle with 55K resolution for every shot, the process would take approximately two to four minutes. The set capture resulted in lighting and textures that could be reprojected onto geometry.
This camp was designated an "Explorer Base" (although the Boy Scouting program was the only program that really used the camp as the Exploring program underwent drastic changes by the early 70s) and featured patrol cooking with a central commissary. The fourth camp never got beyond the planning stage. The Charter Oak Council merged with four other Councils in 1972 to form Long Rivers Council. By the mid-1970s, with a declining Boy Scout-age demographic nationally and declining Boy Scout membership in general due to the expanding list of organizations for adolescent boys, Long Rivers Council was faced with shutting down a number of their camps to the summer camping experience. For instance, Camp Nahaco closed to regular summer camping after 1977 (although it would occasionally re-open for long-term camping with specialty themes such as "Enviro-Camp").
Federation Walk is supported primarily by Friends of Federation Walk, a subcommittee of the Main Beach Progress Association, whose mission is to prepare a Master Plan for the regeneration of the vegetation on The Spit, create public access for passive recreation, to ensure present and future generations of the community have access to enjoy, appreciate and care for The Spit. Much of their work was undone between 2003 and 2005 when seven deliberately lit fires devastated the area and destroyed planting that had been supported by a $25,000 grant from Enviro Fund. Following the fires, a weed-a-thon was held in November 2006 to mark the receipt of a grant from the government of Queensland, which was in addition to money received from the Gold Coast City Council. Work for the Dole and Green Corps have also been among the organisations that have supported Federation Walk.

The bus terminal is strategically located, in the middle of what was formerly the City of North York, at Allen Road on the south side of Highway 401, the main transportation artery across the Greater Toronto Area. This is ideal for providing GO Transit commuter bus services to points east and west of the city and long-distance intercity coach connections by Ontario Northland . When it opened on October 12, 1979, it was a hub for Gray Coach interurban bus service and, until 2000, for the Toronto Airport Express bus service originally operated by Gray Coach and, after 1993, by Pacific Western Transportation. Because of the office building directly above the terminal, there is a severe height restriction within the terminal, and this prevented GO Transit from operating their current fleet of double-decker buses into the terminal until Enviro 500 'Super-Lo' models became available.

From 2004, when the university contract was transferred to Wilts & Dorset from Yellow Buses, until the end of 2009, services were branded as Unilinx and operated by a mixed fleet of double-deck buses (Optare Spectras and brand-new Volvo B7TL ELC Myllennium Vyking convertibles) painted in a modified version of the 'more' livery. Unilinx- branded buses were also a common sight on non-Unilinx services, especially on service 152 (later the 52) where ELC Myllennium Vyking buses ran open-top throughout the summer. In 2009, when the university contract was renewed, eight buses (of which six were Scania Enviro 400 double deckers) were used on the U1, U2 and U4 routes, with a Scania Solar single deck bus on the U3 route. These were purchased new, while an ex-London articulated Mercedes-Benz Citaro bus was introduced to route U1 on 10 January 2010, primarily running a shuttle service to boost capacity between Talbot Campus and the student residences at Lansdowne.

The Anthropologist is a follow-up to Kramer, Miller, and Newberger’s The Linguists, which premiered at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival, aired on PBS, and was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2010. Both films were funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). On April 7, 2014, when Representative Lamar Smith (R-Texas), a climate change denier, learned that NSF had funded The Anthropologist, he demanded “every e-mail, letter, memorandum, record, note [and] text message” regarding the project. The Anthropologist world premiered at DOC NYC on November 13, 2015, to positive reviews. Called “the new guard of enviro-docs” by Realscreen, it was ranked by Indiewire among the top ten films of the festival. “A fresh look at the world (and applications) of anthropology,” Indiewire wrote, “‘The Anthropologist’ combines a uniquely human story with a new take on how to use an ever-evolving science.” The Anthropologist was invited to screen at the UN Climate Change Conference COP21 in Paris on December 7, 2015, followed by a debate at UNESCO Headquarters. On February 18, 2016, more than 25 universities and theaters simultaneously screened the film for World Anthropology Day.
