The strong impression that the Italian squares and sights caused on Greek artists is evident in this painting. The main motif in this work is the Grand Canal. It widens towards the front and some of the sumptuous Venetian edifications line its banks. The Puente de Rialto is the centre of the composition.

Saltsjömuren disappeared during the 1600s. The material was used both as building material for new houses and edifications, especially along the east side where the newly acquired land of Stockholm to the east was built: Skeppsbron. The demolition of the Stockholm young city wall was carried out so thoroughly that today it cannot be seen anywhere above ground level in Gamla stan.

The three front access doors are very impressive. UNESCO declared it Cultural Patrimony of Humankind in 1993. It is considered one of the most important edifications of the 30 Jesuits towns in the region. The stone pulpit, the friezes of angels, the rose-shaped carved stone in the lintels in the doors, and the bell tower stand out in its architecture.

Votive Pyramid at La Quemada This astronomical and also ceremonial center was the product of the Chalchihuite culture. Its occupation and development had a period of approximately 800 years (ca. 200--1000). This zone is considered an important archaeological center because of the astonishing, accurate functions of the edifications. While the church was initially erected by medieval times, the present structure has undergone many re-edifications. The church was damaged during the second world war. The façade with stone blocks has tall pilasters and a baroque belltower rising from the cornice.

Falcão was born in Pereiro, a town of Ceará, where he lived until 12 years. Influenced by his father, a pharmaceutical and the only who had a radio in the town, he listened to a variety of music: from Waldick Soriano to Italian music, and from Nelson Gonçalves to the Beatles. In 1970, his family moved to Fortaleza, where he attended Júlia Jorge school and learned to play guitar. In 1978, he obtained a degree as technician for edifications at the Ceará Federal Technical School.

Since Viale Luigi Majno is located in a densely populated residential area, its buildings are between 25 and 35 meters high, and have 4 (in the most ancient) to 10 storeys. Because of the urban development plan of 2004, Viale Luigi Majno and the surrounding areas can't be subject to invasive demolitions or edifications; new buildings erected since 2004 have had to comply with some very strict and precise building and aesthetic regulations. Viale Majno, as other areas in the city of Milan, is rich of modern buildings (built after the allied bombing during the Second World War) and some ancient ones (some of which were edified in the 15th century). Being North-South oriented, the ground level of Viale Majno is fully exposed to sunlight only during the central hours of the day: in summer from 10 a.m.
