DTaP (also DTPa and TDaP) is a combination vaccine against diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis, in which the pertussis component is acellular. This is in contrast to whole-cell, inactivated DTP (DTwP). The acellular vaccine uses selected antigens of the pertussis pathogen to induce immunity. Because it uses fewer antigens than the whole-cell vaccines, it is considered to cause fewer side effects, but it is also more expensive.

Venetica was developed by Deck13, a small German developer with less than 40 employees which had previously mainly developed point-and-click adventure games, such as Ankh and Jack Keane. The game was first announced by publisher DTP Entertainment on 27 May 2008 with the release of story information and four screenshots. A pentavalent vaccine, also known as 5-in-1 vaccine, is a combination vaccine with five individual vaccines conjugated into one, intended to actively protect people from multiple diseases. The most widely used example is a vaccine that protects against Haemophilus influenzae type B (a bacterium that causes meningitis, pneumonia and otitis), whooping cough, tetanus, hepatitis B and diphtheria. The generic name for this vaccine is diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whole cell), hepatitis B (rDNA) and Haemophilus influenzae type B conjugate vaccine (absorbed) or DTP-HepB-Hib. Venetica is a 2009 fantasy-themed action role-playing video game developed by Deck13 and published by DTP Entertainment. It was first released in Europe on 4 September 2009 for Microsoft Windows, with ports for the Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 being released on 2 October 2010 and 5 November 2010 respectively. Venetica was later re-released for the North American market on 18 January 2011 and distributed by Rombax Games. The game takes place in a fictionalized version of 16th-century Europe in and around Venice in which Death is a human chosen by a mysterious group called the Corpus to fulfill the duties of the grim reaper.

AEGIS was similar to other workstations of the time, in that it used a high-resolution graphics screen and mouse to provide a GUI named DM (Display Manager) which lacked almost all the tools (such as a directory browser) taken for granted today - the single exception being a Notepad-like text editor. Instead, the user was given a command line window. This was not a problem since, usually, the machine would have been bought for a specific purpose, and the user would simply invoke the one or two packages they were interested in, typically a CAD or DTP system. Howard Bailey Jr. (born March 9, 1980), better known by his stage name Chingy, is an American hip hop recording artist, record producer and actor. Chingy grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and began rapping in his late teens. The Thousand Hope Candidates (Turkish: Bin Umut Adayları) was an electoral alliance between four left-wing political parties in Turkey, formed in preparation for the 2007 general election. The alliance contested the election by fielding candidates from participating parties as independents in order to bypass the 10% election threshold needed to win seats in the Turkish Grand National Assembly. The alliance's candidates won a total of 1,334,518 votes and 22 seats in the election. Desktop publishing was first developed at Xerox PARC in the 1970s. On June 1, 2005, the PKK officially adopted the democratic confederalism program at the end of the 3rd General Assembly of the People's Congress of Kurdistan (Kongra Gelê Kurdistan). Thereafter, the Kurdish liberation movement began to form clandestine assemblies immediately in Turkey, Syria and Iraq, which in 2007 resulted in the creation of the Kurdistan Communities Union (Koma Civakên Kurdistan, KCK), the organization established to put into effect Öcalan’s concept. The KCK brings together Kurdish political parties - as Democratic Union Party (Partiya Yekîtiya Demokrat, PYD), Kurdistan Free Life Party (Partiya Jiyana Azad to Kurdistanê, PJAK), and Kurdistan Democratic Solution Party (Partî Çareserî Dîmukratî Kurdistan, PÇDK)-, civil society organizations and armed groups in all countries in the region over the different parts of Kurdistan. Inspired by the project of democratic confederalism, mayors of the Party of the Democratic Society Party (Demokratik Toplum Partisi, DTP) started a fight for collective rights of a political nature in Turkey through civil disobedience campaigns.

Challenging the laws that prohibit the official use of the Kurdish language, these politicians begin to use the municipal services and dispatch official correspondence in Kurdish, to reinsert Kurdish names in public places and to spend resources for the development and spread of the Kurdish language. However, these policies made the DTP mayors and deputies targets of judicial harassment, and the Kurdish party was banned by the Turkish Constitutional Court in 2009. It was during the Civil War in Syria that an opportunity arose to implement Ocalan's new political doctrine deeply, after the PYD declared the autonomy of three cantons in Rojava, a region comprising parts of the north and northeast of Syrian territory. Creating a political entity opposed to the capitalist nation-state, Rojava experienced an original experience of democratic, decentralized and non-hierarchical society, based on feminist, ecology, cultural pluralism, co-operative sharing economy ideas, and participatory politics and consensual construction.

By the end of 2004, Ludacris released his fourth album The Red Light District, another number-one album loaded with hit singles "Get Back", "Number One Spot" and "Pimpin' All Over the World" which featured the label's new artist, R&B; singer Bobby Valentino. In 2005, the label released Valentino's self-titled debut album Bobby Valentino. A Billboard Top R&B;/Hip-Hop Albums chart-topper, it spawned three singles; "Slow Down", "Tell Me" and "My Angel (Never Leave You)". The sultry "Slow Down" announced the singer's rebirth as a DTP member in early 2005 and soon became a BET and radio favorite as the ballad was landing on numerous schools' prom ballots. By the end of 2005, Disturbing tha Peace released their second collaboration album Ludacris Presents: Disturbing tha Peace, featuring the label's roster of talent including the label's new artists Shareefa, Field Mob, Norfclk, Lazyeye, and Small World.

After a successful career of many years as a broadcast engineer in the Nigerian public service, Tunde set up TIWA Systems in 1985 with the aim of bringing the benefits of digital technology and its accompanying information revolution to Nigeria. Apart from providing consultancy and other services in both commercial and scientific computing, with TIWA, he pioneered Desk-Top-Publishing (DTP) in Nigeria by transforming the operations of such publishing houses as Spectrum Books, Evans Brothers, Onibonoje and many others between 1985 and 1990. He also pioneered Non Linear Editing (NLE) of video and 3D Animation in the Nigerian motion picture industry by installing the first Personal Animation Recorder (PAR) and NLE suits for production houses including Media International, Klink Studios, Mainframe Productions and Shell Production Nigeria and many others in the 1990s. These led to his various commissions for the design of most of the pioneering private TV stations in Nigeria, including Channels Television, MITV and Africa Independent Television (AIT), where he designed, supplied, installed and commissioned the stations between 1994 and 1997.

Alleged members of a clandestine group called Ergenekon were detained in 2008 as part of a long and complex trial. Members are accused of terrorism and of plotting to overthrow the civilian government. On 22 February 2010 more than 40 officers were arrested and formally charged with attempting to overthrow the government with respect to so-called "Sledgehammer" plot.

At the time, this was the only guitar Devin Townsend was seen with that did not have EMG pickups, but was modified with a Seymour Duncan STK-S2n Hot Stack in the neck. After returning to public view in 2009, Townsend began endorsing Peavey, and later released a PXD Devin Townsend signature model, essentially a Flying V-style 7-string baritone guitar with an EMG 81-7 pickup and a 7-string EMG SA single coil pickup in the neck position. Peavey also made Townsend a number of custom 7-strings, including one with a single EMG 81-7 pickup that is used for playing most of the material on Ziltoid The Omniscient. Aside from his signature model, Townsend also utilizes two custom 6-string Predator models made by Peavey; one with a natural flame-top finish and the DTP logo on the 12th fret, and one in a black finish with a Floyd Rose vibrato unit (for Open C and Open B tuning, respectively). In 2012, Townsend announced that he was using other guitars besides his Peavey models, including two Sadowsky Telecaster models and a number of Framus semi-hollow body guitars.

In late 2000 Def Jam repackaged his underground album Incognegro as Back for the First Time, adding a few new songs: a UGK collaboration ("Stick 'Em Up"), a Neptunes production ("Southern Hospitality"), and a remix of his previously released song with Timbaland (retitled "Phat Rabbit").
