The landscaped grounds developed during the seventeenth century following the purchase of the manor by Sir Robert Southwell in 1679. Robert keenly redesigned the formal gardens with the assistance of John Evelyn including the creation of parterre and 'wilderness' gardens, formal avenues and the laying out of drives through the woodland. The students are trapped but escape through the emergency exit.

Kiarostami produced 10 on Ten (2004), a journal documentary that shares ten lessons on movie-making while he drives through the locations of his past films. The movie is shot on digital video with a stationary camera mounted inside the car, in a manner reminiscent of Taste of Cherry and Ten. A night after Centaine returns to Windhoek, Fourie betrays Lothar by causing a strike at the mine, preventing the diamonds from leaving and prompting Centaine to drive toward the mine herself in the dark. After she returns to the mine and attempts to negotiate with the strikers, Centaine attempts to transport the next shipment of diamonds to the bank herself. 1899 Brown Quadricycle The Brown Quadricycle was first sold in 1899 by the bicycle and motor factory, Brown Brothers of Great Eastern Street, London, UK. The quadricycle could be bought fully assembled or all the components could be purchased separately to be built by the owner. Also available was a tricycle version and a 'convertible' model that could use either a single front wheel or have an optional twin front wheel assembly that allowed a front passenger to be carried. The only known surviving Brown Quadricycle uses a Perfecta quadricycle frame and a Starley rear axle. The engine is a 2.25 hp De Dion- Bouton engine that drives through a two speed Bozier gearbox and has been officially dated by the Veteran Car Club of Great Britain as of 1899 manufacture.

Meanwhile, the zombie Kristy murders a taxi driver who stops for her, and both of them attempt to kill Denise the following evening in her house. Brian arrives with a gun to attempt to stop them or help Denise, but he too ends up getting stabbed and killed by the undead Kristy. Denise manages to escape from her house and drives through the nearby city which is deserted, but the car breaks down and she finds herself alone on the streets... aware that somewhere in a hospital or a morgue or a back alley that there is a person who has just died and will become a reanimated corpse for the sole purpose of killing her. The scared Denise manages to board a passing, late-night bus and arrives at Carla's house with Brian's gun where she confides in Carla about what is going on and asks for help.

The image of Anthy with her suitcase at the end of the series, Napier posits, suggests that inspired by Utena's example Anthy is now "taking charge of her own life and breaking free of the incestuous coils that her brother has wound around her". This "liberation" becomes more explicit in the film, where Utena turns into a car which Anthy drives through an escape route to the "real world".

John Hantz, twenty- year Detroit native and CEO of Hantz Group, proposed Hantz Woodlands as a way to remedy blight, increase neighborhood safety, and stop the decline of Detroit property values. Blighted areas can have negative psychological impacts on community members and lead to higher crime rates. Removing blight can help improve how outsiders and community members view the community and increase their desire to invest in the area. During his daily drives through Detroit, Hantz noticed the countless empty lots and decaying houses, many of which were in foreclosure and/or were in city ownership, that he passed on his route. Many of the lots in the areas that would later become part of Hantz Woodlands are on blocks that have been characterized by Data Driven Detroit as blocks that are “least active, with less density, more abandonment, and a high concentration of vacant lots” or areas with high numbers of vacant lots and lower occupancy levels mixed with “quality housing stock.

The next 16 tracks on A Day Late and a Dollar Short are from a January 1993 reunion with Rutherford. Joe Queer had revived the Queers in the mid-1980s, with a number of members coming and going from the lineup over the next several years and sporadic recording sessions resulting in the band's first album, 1990's Grow Up. By this time the lineup had solidified with Queer, drummer Hugh O'Neill, and bassist Chris "B-Face" Barnard, who recorded the band's second album, Love Songs for the Retarded, in November 1992. Wimpy Rutherford had left Portsmouth, but returned for the Christmas holidays that December. While in town, he rejoined the Queers for some live performances and to record some of the songs they had written in the early 1980s but had not recorded, including "Wimpy Drives Through Harlem", "I Like Young Girls", "Nobody Likes Me", "I'm Nowhere at All", "Nothing to Do", and a cover version of Richard Harris's 1968 hit "MacArthur Park".
