In 2018 they gained attention and controversy for two public sculptures in New York City. Gillie and Marc created a sculpture to celebrate the Chinese ‘Year of the Dog’ titled "He knew this was going to be a year of good fortune." The sculpture show their Dogman character holding a very large red apple. One copy was installed in a Melbourne shopping mall, while the other was intended to be unveiled the day before the Lunar New Year in New York City's Chinatown at Kimlau Square, which holds a memorial to Chinese-American World War II veterans.

The Heroes focuses on a three-day battle set in the same world as the First Law trilogy, about seven years after events of the trilogy itself. Union commander Lord Marshal Kroy leads the Union forces against the much smaller Northern army led by Black Dow. The story features many characters seen in previous First Law novels like Bremer dan Gorst, Lord Marshal Kroy, and the Dogman. Red Country is set about thirteen years after the First Law trilogy and revolves around a youthful female protagonist who is hoping to bury her bloody past, but she'll have to sharpen up some of her old ways to get her family back.

Fonte lived his childhood and adolescence in the suburbs of Reggio Calabria, where at the age of 10 he learned to play the snare drum in the town's band. He then moved to Rome in 1999, where he worked as guardian at the Teatro Valle and became passionate about acting and got small parts in television and film productions. In 2018, Fonte received critical acclaim for his performance in Matteo Garrone's Dogman and was awarded the Best Actor Award at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. They enlisted veteran producer Brendan O'Brien, who had recently produced albums for Stone Temple Pilots and Pearl Jam. The resulting album, 1994's Dogman, showcased a much more muscular and heavy sound from the group, along with less abstract and spiritual lyrics. Atlanta took the first map, Busan, and tied on the second map, Hanamura, to enter halftime up 1–0. Washington struck back on Hollywood, full-holding Atlanta on their attack, to tie the series heading into Junkertown. Erster, again, shined in the map, leading the Reign to a win on the map and a 2–1 victory in the match.
