Lee returned to Tennessee, Sultan and Velez left to pursue other opportunities, and Mitchell joined Jack Bruce's touring group. In October 1969, Hendrix and Cox began jamming and recording demos with drummer Buddy Miles. Miles had played with various R&B; and soul musicians, as a member of the Electric Flag and fronting the Buddy Miles Express, both blues rock-R&B; fusion groups. Miles was also a frequent jam partner of Hendrix and played the drums the year before on the two-part song "Rainy Day, Dream Away"/"Still Raining, Still Dreaming" for Electric Ladyland.

Cover of Hong Kong manhua Fung Wan Ma quit his studies and became a comic artist in 1976 at the age of 15. He started his career in Hei Po, where he published his first series, Day Dream. His other works included Winds and Clouds in Public Housing, Wily Little One, Little Tough Guy, Great Dictator, Lau-keung the Contractor, The Invisible Weird Guest and Wonder Dog. In 1977, Hei Po was closed and Ma joined Golden Comics, where he began employing realism in his works, such as The Five Brothers, which caught the attention of others in the industry.

He also participated in the Bright Moments Jazz Festival and opened for the Al Di Meola Trio at the Bowker Auditorium UMASS, as well as doing concert series with jazz guitarist Attila Zoller at the Vermont Jazz Center and other music venues in New England. In 1994, his first American-produced album, Day Dream was released by Signature Sounds. Shortly after, Ryabov decided to move to New York City, where he continued to perform both as a frontman and accompanist. In New York he played with Richie Cole, Craig Handy, Gene Bertoncini, Hubert Laws, Jack Wilkins, Paul Bollenback, Peter Bernstein, Sergio Brandao, and Vic Juris.

The Day Dream or, as it was initially intended to be named, Monna Primavera, is an oil on canvas painting by the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood founder Dante Gabriel Rossetti. The work, which measures in height by wide, was undertaken in 1880 and depicts Jane Morris posed in a seated position on the bough of a sycamore tree. A small stem of honeysuckle is in her hand, a token of love in the Victorian era, that may be an indication of the secret affair the artist was immersed in with her at the time. The artwork was left to the Victoria and Albert Museum by Constantine Alexander Ionides in 1900.

In March 1991, the British music magazine, NME, reported that Shades of Rhythm were appearing at the 'Great Indie Festival - A Midsummer's Day Dream' at Milton Keynes Bowl in June that year. Also on the bill were 808 State, Gary Clail, New Fast Automatic Daffodils, The Shamen, Paris Angels plus Flowered Up. Shades of Rhythm released "Sweet Revival (Keep It Comin')" in February 1993, followed by "Getting Away".

Named West Molle Island in 1881, the present name "Daydream" came into use during the 1930s when Lee (Paddy), his wife Connie Murray and their best friend Charlie Hird established the first tourist resort on the island. Day Dream was the name of a yacht owned by the Murrays. Ownership of the resort has transferred to a number of individuals or groups since the 1930s. Notable owners include Reg Ansett, who dismantled the resort in 1953 and shipped the buildings to his new resort on Hayman Island; and Bernie Elsey, whose massive redevelopment of the island in 1967 was destroyed by Cyclone Ada three years later.

In the middle of a neglected French suburb, a family and close friends day-dream of life and love. In his debut feature writer/director Nassim Amaouche introduces the audience to their world, revealing the ties between the various characters, crafted by a brilliant French-Arab ensemble cast that includes Jean-Pierre Bacri, Dominique Reymond, Yasmine Belmadi and Alexandre Bonnin. The film evolves around conscientious Francis, his recently liberated ex-con son Samir, neighbour (and Francis' illicit lover) Maria and her imaginative son José - who deals with all this by escaping into a Wild West fantasy world where his father is a heroic cowboy played by Gary Cooper.

Returning to Boise he informs Susan of his decision and sets to work, only to return the next morning to find that Susan has fired him and all of the typewriters are being loaded into a truck by one of his former co-workers at the warehouse chain. Distraught by this turn of events he rents a room and recalls one of his first encounters with Susan as his fifth grade teacher which evolves into a day dream about the pair opening up shop in Montario and ultimately moving to Denver following the purchase of an expanded facility there and living happily ever after.

Copper relief from the Fourteenth Exhibition of the Vienna Secession (1902) Lenz studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Vienna, then at the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna under Carl Wurzinger and Christian Griepenkerl. A member of the Vienna Künstlerhaus spent the early 1890s in South America, designing banknotes in Buenos Aires. In 1897, Lenz left the Künstlerhaus to become a founding member of the Vienna Secession, and his work for the group's first exhibition was hailed as "outstanding". His 1899 painting, A World (Eine Welt, also translated as A Day Dream), draws on the time's prevailing currents, including dreamlike and fantastic imagery painted in intense colour.

Stoltzfus, (2005) Jackson Benson writes that how a writer transforms biographical events into art is more important than looking for connections between Hemingway's life and his fiction. He believes autobiographical events may have a "very tenuous relationship" to the fiction similar to a dream from which a drama emerges. Hemingway's later fiction, Benson writes "is like an adolescent day-dream in which he acts out infatuation and consummation, as in Across the River." Meyers agrees that parallels exist between Hemingway and Colonel Cantwell, but he sees more similarities with Hemingway's friend of many decades "Chink" Dorman-Smith, whose military career was undermined causing his demotion.

The novelist Dinah Craik visited Tintagel in 1883 and published an informative account of her journey through Cornwall the following year. William Howitt's visit was quite different: his account is called "A day-dream at Tintagel" (in Visits to Remarkable Places). In 2012, a musical was made based on the show called Queen for a Day: The Musical, starring Alan Thicke as Jack Bailey The outspoken and strong-willed Claribel Anderson (played by Blythe Wilson) finds herself along with fellow waitress Lana Beutler (played by Marisa McIntyre) at the glamorous Moulin Rouge Theatre, where the hit show tapes daily. Here the girls meet the quirky and charismatic host Jack Bailey and a colorful cast of Hollywood players who are ready and willing to build the Queen for a Day dream. Bailey sees the women, listens to many stories, dries many tears - but only one can be queen. Eventually Claribel lands as a contestant on the show.

Their follow up single "And Then She Smiles" failed to replicate the success of the previous single, only reaching no. 44 in the chart. In March 1991, the British music magazine NME reported that the band were appearing at the 'Great Indie Festival – A Midsummer's Day Dream' at Milton Keynes Bowl in June that year. Also on the bill were 808 State, Gary Clail, Shades of Rhythm, The Shamen, Paris Angels plus Flowered Up. The Mock Turtles, however, were unable to follow up the early success and were dropped by their label, three members briefly joining up as Ugli in the mid-1990s, remaining in limbo until Vodafone used "Can You Dig It?" for an advertising campaign in late 2002 and more famously in 2003.

One by one his pupils left him, and he does not seem to have sought for any others. It appears from his letters to his wife that he had considerable difficulty in getting paid for his pupils, and he had now a nobler object in view. That object was nothing less than to disseminate the Anglo-Catholic faith throughout the East. Oliver was an artist-in-residence at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Skowhegan, Maine in 2004; The Core Program in Houston, Texas from 2004 to 2006; and The Studio Museum in Harlem in New York City from 2006 to 2007; Light Work in 2009 where he brought with him boulder-sized anthracite that has recurred in his work. His residency at Studio Museum in Harlem in 2007 culminated in a show called Midnight's Day Dream and in 2009 his work was included in an exhibition there called 30 Seconds Off an Inch curated by Naomi Beckwith that featured a work he made with a suitcase of coal and light called Asterism, evoking astronomy and fantasy. In 2011 Oliver participated in an exhibition about the impact of the work by Bettye Saar. The show featured work she was influenced by as well as artists like Oliver, who was influenced by her metaphysical, found object work.

Kohsuke Toriumi, who plays as Cecil Aijima, was included the group starting from the second season of the anime and sequel games. The game Uta no Prince-sama: All Star and the second season of the anime series, Uta no Prince-sama: Maji Love 2000%, introduced a rival idol group, Quartet Night (stylized as QUARTET NIGHT), with the characters voiced by Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Ranmaru Kurosaki, Shouta Aoi as Ai Mikaze, Showtaro Morikubo as Reiji Kotobuki, and Tomoaki Maeno as Camus.
