Winmau (pronounced "Win more") is a Welsh manufacturer of dartboards, other darts equipment and title sponsor of the oldest darts tournament still running, the Winmau World Masters. Founded in 1945, Winmau was acquired by rival dartboard manufacturer Nodor in 2002, headed by John Bluck, with both brands remaining in production. The company is based in Bridgend in south Wales although manufacturing of the boards takes place in Kenya. Bluck's eldest son Vince is now the managing director.

Stephen Askin invented the original deely bobber in 1981, inspired by the "Killer Bees" costumes on Saturday Night Live. Askin was a serial entrepreneur who had sold dartboards depicting Ayatollah Khomeini during the Iran hostage crisis of 1980. Askin made prototype Deely Bobbers in his kitchen and test-marketed them at the Los Angeles Street Fair of summer 1981, selling 800 at $5 each. He sold the invention to the Ace Novelty Co. of Bellevue, Washington, which launched it in January 1982 at the California Gift Fair.

Wilson joined the other top professionals who split away from the ruling British Darts Organisation in 1993 to form the WDC (now Professional Darts Corporation). He was not able to recapture the form that took him to two world championships however, and only participated in two PDC World Championships, failing to win a single match. The club enjoyed considerable success in the early 1960s by dominating the prestige Glamorgan County Silver Ball cup competition by being runners up in 1963 before winning the title in 1964 and 1965. In recent times the club had another notable cup run in reaching the final of the Welsh Rugby Union National Bowl Competition at the Millennium Stadium; ultimately losing despite being cheered on by well over 800 Llantonian supporters in an enthralling 17-10 game to Clwb Rygbi Cymry Caerdydd. Currently, the club manages two senior teams, one Under 19 team and also has a full Mini & Junior section with its own separate management framework. There is a large social membership that runs darts (three dartboards and oches) and pool teams (three tables) in local leagues.
