The line serves many small, rural settlements in Cheshire before reaching Chester. Services follow the Crewe line from Manchester Piccadilly as far as Stockport, where the line diverges westwards. The line then curves around the south of Manchester until it meets the Metrolink line. Metrolink and Mainline services run parallel between Deansgate Junction through Navigation Road railway station to Altrincham, where the Metrolink terminates.
The forewings are dark, slightly shiny grey-brown with contrasting dark patches, particularly in the basal and postmedial areas. The medial area typically is paler with reddish tan near the conspicuous large black reniform spot, small round orbicular spot, and short claviform spot. The reddish postreniform patch is relatively prominent for the species group. The postmedial line usually is well marked and curves around the reniform spot.
As it approaches Abercanaid Industrial Estate, the railway from Merthyr Tydfil railway station joins the east bank of the river and runs parallel to it for much of its length. It curves around the eastern edge of Abercanaid, below which it is crossed by the A4060 road bridge. At Troed-y-rhiw the B4285 Bridge Street crosses, and the Afon Tâf High School if located on the east bank.
Lynfield is a suburb of Auckland, New Zealand. It is under the local governance of Auckland Council. The main road through the centre of Lynfield is 'The Avenue', with many roads branching off, including Halsey Drive, the suburb's longest street, which curves around a large portion of the inner suburb. The Lynfield Reserve is situated off the Avenue , it hosts a children's playground , and world renowned skateboard bowl .
As SR 39 crosses into Michigan it becomes M-239. As soon as it crosses the border, the road curves around to the northwest where it continues through a generally rural area. The trunkline intersects Wilson Road and passes next to a commercial development. After a little over a mile (1.8 km), the road comes to its northern terminus at an interchange with I-94 at exit 1\.
It is one of the United States' oldest counties. The City of Richmond was officially part of Henrico County until 1842, when it became a fully independent city. The present-day Henrico County curves around the City of Richmond, surrounding it to the west, the north, and the east. The county is bounded by the Chickahominy River to the north and the James River and Richmond to the south.
The third portion of SR 101 is long and starts at US 52 and SR 1 in Brookville. SR 101 runs concurrent with SR 1 north and then SR 101 heads northeast, leaving SR 1\. The highway curves around Brookville Lake and continues due north towards Liberty. The road crosses into Union County and turns northeast again, ending at an intersection with US 27 and SR 44 in Liberty.
Just north of that intersection on the opposite side is the eastern terminus of County Road 2A. Later the road curves around another pond into another angle further to the northwest. The telephone poles along the east side of the street veer off into the woods along a former segment of the road just south of the end of the concurrency with CR 2, after which the road turns straight north.
The nasal bone is very incompletely preserved; what there is curves around ventrally, and is slightly sculptured towards the anterior end. The nasal projects back far enough to contact the frontal bone with a thin, short blade. The prefrontal is triangular, and both left and right prefrontals are preserved, although the left prefrontal is only fragmentary. The prefrontal and frontal bones form a sinuous suture, although not a fully interdigitating one.
As the highway edges towards the state line, it enters the borough of Eldred. Just north of the borough, PA 346, which was paralleling earlier, now terminates at PA 446\. The highway curves around a mountain and begins to follow the Allegheny River and the Buffalo Line railroad tracks before crossing the railroad tracks at-grade immediately before the New York line. There it continues as NY 305.
Castle Road (the B2191) curves around the Roman north wall and connects Pevensey to the nearby village of Westham. A public footpath crosses the interior of the castle, linking the two villages.Foot, p. 512 An area of reclaimed land, formerly part of the Pevensey tidal lagoon but now marshland and fields crossed by the Eastbourne to Hastings railway line, is situated immediately to the south of the castle.
While Mill Brook curves around the western extents of the village of Oxford, NY 220 serves the village directly, entering it on Butler Street. It veers eastward at a junction with State Street and follows it to Washington Avenue. Here, State Street splits into a one-block long one-way couplet. Eastbound NY 220 shifts south to follow LaFayette Park; NY 220 westbound, meanwhile, is routed on State Street.
The three highways travel concurrently to the west and enter Mobridge, where SD 1804 splits off onto 4th Avenue East. It travels to the north, passing Legion Memorial Park, and then leaves the city limits of Mobridge. It then passes Mobridge Municipal Airport, Greenwood Cemetery, and Oahe Hills Country Club. The highway curves around the northwestern part of the country club, becomes known as 126th Street, and heads to the east.
The trophy of the Rolex Grand Slam, a cup made out of sterling silver with double scrolled handles was designed by the famous London jewellers Garrard that was founded in 1735. It stands on a silver plinth. A delicate ribbed spiral stem curves around the middle section moving up towards a tulip-shaped vessel with a lid. The overall height of the trophy is 45 cm and it weighs 2 kilogrammes.
To the south, highway M41 curves around the eastern end of the reservoir toward Karaköl and Jalal-Abad city. To the north the road goes up the Chychkan valley into Talas Region on its way to Bishkek. It has 10 sub-districts: Aralbaev district (Toluk- previous name), Bel-Aldy (Sary-Sogot previous name), Jany- Jol, Kyzyl-Ozgorush, Nichke-Say, Ketmen-Dobo, Sary-Kamysh, Torken, Uch-Terek and Cholpon-Ata.
Ingersoll straddles Fulton and Knox Counties, meaning that the Knox portion of the camp actually lies outside of the W.D. Boyce Council. Some of the roads in camp, mostly those built prior to the camp's establishment, follow this county line. Camp roads are mostly unpaved and one-lane, winding around the camp as topography allows. Illinois Route 116 curves around the camp after crossing the Spoon River at London Mills.
The main formation turns north to Mount Cuthbert railway station by the Kalkadoon mine. The rail formation terminates about north beyond the Kalkadoon. Surface evidence of the locations of the railway station building, platform and goods shed is still apparent on the east side of the formation. On its final approach to Mount Cuthbert, the rail formation curves around the site of the township which is situated on a low rise east of the smelter.
The R147 road curves around the church, suggesting that an ancient ecclesiastical enclosure has become fossilised in the street layout. Secundinus (d. 447; variously Sechnall, Seachnall, Seachnail, Secundus) was son of was a son of Restitutus, a Lombard, and Lubaid, traditionally said to be a sister of Saint Patrick and founder of a church on the site between AD 439 and 447. The name Dunshaughlin is ultimately from Domhnach Seachnall – the church of Seachnall.
The Davis House is a historic house at 212 Fulton Street in Clarksville, Arkansas. It is a 2-1/2 story wood frame American Foursquare structure, with a hip roof, weatherboard siding, and a foundation of rusticated concrete blocks. The roof has flared eaves with exposed rafter ends, and a front-facing dormer with a Flemish-style gable. The porch extends across the front and curves around to the side, supported by Tuscan columns.
La Hermana del Hombre Bóveda is an abstract, figural, cast bronze artwork. The form wraps around a central cavity, which is the focal point when viewed from the front. Jutting edges that look as though they were ripped or chopped face the front, surrounding the circular cavity and contrasting with its smooth, hollowed surface. The highly textured surface curves around the back to create a rounded form that evokes a woman’s backside.
The freeway then curves around to the northeast near Thread Lake, crossing over Saginaw Street. I-475 follows the western shore of the lake as it turns northward to run into downtown Flint. South of the four-level stack interchange with I-69, I-475 crosses over a line of the Canadian National Railway. North of this interchange, the freeway runs more northwesterly as it skirts the eastern edge of downtown Flint.
Jablanica originates on the eastern slopes of the Jablanik mountain, just few kilometers away from Obnica. It curves around Parač mountain and next to the village of Balinović, before it meets Obnica in Valjevo. Jablanica is 21.5 km long. This is also the beginning of the long region of the Kolubara valley, divided in two large parts, referred to as Upper (gornja) Kolubara and Lower (donja) Kolubara (around the Belgrade's suburb of Obrenovac).
M-6 curves around the southeast side of the Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Cascade Township. As the South Beltline nears I-96, it crosses 48th Street next to the Thornapple Pointe Golf Course. The carriageway splits into ramps for each direction of I-96, the ramps to eastbound I-96 crossing over the Thornapple River in the process. This interchange marks the eastern terminus of the Paul B. Henry South Beltline Freeway.
The road curves around to the northwest as it passes between Bogart Lake and Streeters Mill Pond near Dutch Settlement Road. M-40 follows Centre Street into Marcellus. When the highway meets the western end of M-216 in town, M-40 turns west along Main Street and runs out of town. The roadway returns to a northerly course, and later it curves northwesterly again near Cedar Lake near the Van Buren County line.
The trunkline then heads southeast to Napoleon, where the road then turns south and heads towards Brooklyn, part of the Irish Hills area of Lenawee County, a region known for its scenery. The road serves as main street for downtown Brooklyn as well as the primary thoroughfare for drivers headed to Michigan International Speedway. M-50 curves around the north and east side of the race track before intersecting US 12 in Cambridge Junction.
In the small community of Mustang Ridge, US 183 leaves the frontage roads and an overlap with SH 45 begins. The two highways run in a northeast direction passing through rural areas of Travis County. The tollway passes near Austin- Bergstrom International Airport at the interchange with SH 71 and runs in extreme east Austin. The tollway curves around Lake Walter E. Long after the interchange with the Manor Expressway near Manor.
The safe is located in its original position on the western side of the building. A large, sweeping staircase, with original timber and metal handrail and balustrading leads to the first floor. The metal balustrading curves around and encloses the entire south eastern corner of the first floor. Adjacent to the staircase, along the western wall of the building, is a large group of floor to ceiling windows finished with original timber sunshading detail.
In Montcalm County, M-66 intersects M-57 in a rural area south of Sheridan before running north on Sheridan Road through Stanton. The highway jogs west along Main Street in Stanton before returning to a northerly course on a discontinuous section of Sheridan Road. The roadway curves around the west end of Hemmingway Lake near Cannonsville Road. West of Edmore, M-66 turns northwesterly along M-46 on Edmore–Howard City Road to Six Lakes.
The two routes together head into Lincolnville Center, the home of the administrative buildings of the town, on Main Street. The road intersects SR 235 at its northern terminus before SR 52 splits from the concurrency allowing SR 173 to continue alone on Searsmont Road. It enters the town of Searsmont and curves around Levenseller Mountain. At Bickfords Corner, SR 173 makes a sharp turn to the southwest to cross a small stream then travels west.
The northern main entrance to campus is located at the intersection with CR 550 (Sugar Loaf Avenue) and Tracy Avenue. Wright Street passes through residential neighborhoods east of CR 550 before meeting Presque Isle Avenue. East of that intersection, CR 492 crosses onto the northern edge of NMU's campus immediately north of the Superior Dome. Wright Street ends as it curves around to the south into a junction with Lakeshore Boulevard at the shore of Lake Superior.
The back is brown, darker than most other African pipits', with dark streaks. The head is the same color as the back and marked with white lores (unlike many African pipits) and a white eyebrow that curves around behind the cheek to join a white malar stripe. A dark sub-mustachial stripe separates this latter from the white throat. The underparts differ from the African pipit's in being buff instead of white and having streaks extending to the flanks.
The wild and rocky character of the range then gradually diminishes with Starling Dodd and Great Borne, before crossing the pedestrian Floutern Pass to the Loweswater Fells. These are Mellbreak, brooding darkly above Crummock Water, Hen Comb, Gavel Fell, Blake Fell and Burnbank Fell. The final extremity of the northern arc curves around the head of Loweswater to Low Fell and Fellbarrow. The satellites of the main ridge, Base Brown, Grey Knotts and Fleetwith Pike, centre upon Brandreth.
To the south a driveway curves around the plaza, around the front of the SUNY System Administration Building, listed on the Register as the Delaware and Hudson Railroad Company Building. Across Broadway, on the northwest corner, is the 1902 First Trust Company Building, also listed. The Home Savings Bank Building, Albany's first skyscraper, is a block further west. On the north is another federal government office building; a parking garage serving the area is to the northwest.
Below the summit and about halfway down the main slope, a level spur juts out eastward and then curves around to the north to run parallel with Birks. At the far end of this subsidiary ridge is the rocky summit of Arnison Crag. The slight col where the Arnison Crag ridge connects to the flank of Birks is Trough Head. To the east of Arnison Crag is the lower portion of Deepdale and the settlement of Bridgend.
It then curves around to the north, proceeding over a distance of to Karijini Road, the entrance road to the Karijini National Park. The highway continues north for another , travelling through the north-eastern corner of the national park to Nanutarra Munjina Road. Great Northern Highway proceeds on its journey north, crossing the Yule River and its tributaries. The highway then runs parallel to the Turner River over a distance until it reaches North West Coastal Highway.
It blooms from October to December and produces yellow flowers. The simple inflorescences occur singly or in pairs in the axils and have spherical flower-heads containing 26 to 32 golden coloured flowers. Following flowering firmly chartaceous seed pods form that have a narrowly oblong shape with a length of up to and awidth of . The elliptic shaped seeds have a length of about and a linear aril that curves around the base of the seed.
Benjamin Franklin Parkway, from the top of the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Benjamin Franklin Parkway, commonly abbreviated to Ben Franklin Parkway, is a scenic boulevard that runs through the cultural heart of Philadelphia. Named for Founding Father Benjamin Franklin, the mile-long Parkway cuts diagonally across the grid plan pattern of Center City's northwest quadrant. It starts at Philadelphia City Hall, curves around Logan Circle, and ends before the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

British Open Championship Golf is a three- dimensional (3D) video game that simulates golf, a sport in which players attempt to hit a ball into a hole with as few strokes as possible. In particular, the game is based on The Open Championship, the oldest tournament in golf.
A cyclone sampler consists of a circular chamber with the aerosol stream entering through one or more tangential nozzles. Like an impactor, a cyclone sampler depends upon the inertia of the particle to cause it to deposit on the sampler wall as the air stream curves around inside the chamber. Also like an impactor, the collection efficiency depends upon the flow rate. Cyclones are less prone to particle bounce than impactors and can collect larger quantities of material.
Iowa Highway 31 begins at an intersection with Iowa Highway 141, Main Street in Smithland. The route heads north along Hickory Street and out of town parallel to the western bank of the Little Sioux River. It heads to the north-northeast for through the Woodbury County communities of Oto and Anthon, and crosses the Little Sioux southwest of Correctionville. At Correctionville, Iowa 31 intersects U.S. Route 20 and then curves around following the eastern bank of the Little Sioux.
McCartney County Park straddles the river about from the mouth, and Ingram Slough enters from the left at the northern end of Ingram Island, about further downstream. Below this confluence, Anderson County Park is on the left. As the river curves around Irish Bend, Irish Bend County Park is on the left, and then Long Tom River enters from the left at Norwood Island, near RM 149 (RK 240). Meandering around Sam Daws Bend, the river splits to go around Hoacum Island.
Hospital Bend is a major freeway junction, located to the east of the central business district of Cape Town, South Africa. It is the junction between the N2 national route and the M3 metropolitan expressway. Its unusual design led to notoriety as a traffic bottleneck and a frequent accident location; between March 2008 and early 2010 it underwent major roadworks to address these issues. It takes its name from the fact that it curves around the grounds of Groote Schuur Hospital.
The Dunlap House is a historic house at 101 Grandview Avenue in Clarksville, Arkansas. It is a two-story wood frame American Foursquare structure, set on a tall stone foundation on a highly visible lot near the city center. Its porch, uncharacteristic for the Foursquare style, extends only across half the front, and curves around to the left side; it is supported by Tuscan columns. The house was built about 1910 to a design by noted Arkansas architect Charles L. Thompson.
Unlike surrounding mountains, Roundtop Hill is not part of an extended ridge system, and is only about in length. It is located just under from the crest of Tonoloway Ridge, about southwest of Hancock. Its presence causes a large bend in the Potomac River, which curves around its eastern slope. Much of the eastern face is part of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park and the canal bed and tow path pass along the narrow bank at its base.
Middle Fell curves around to run parallel to Seatallan with the valley of Greendale Gill dividing the two. The stream begins at Greendale Tarn, nestled into the steep face of Middle Fell. The tarn, around 30 ft deep, sits in a long narrow bowl, looked down on by a collection of huge boulders.Blair, Don: Exploring Lakeland Tarns: Lakeland Manor Press (2003): Seatallan's most prominent feature is Buckbarrow, the 400 ft rampart of crags on the southern edge overlooking lower Greendale and Wast Water.
Omaha Road Bridge Number 15 is a swing bridge that spans the Mississippi River in St. Paul, Minnesota, United States. It was built in 1915 by the Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis and Omaha Railway (Omaha Road), though it, and the line from St. Paul to Mendota, was jointly owned with the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railway (Milwaukee Road). The causeway curves around Pickerel Lake in Lilydale, Minnesota, before crossing into St. Paul. The bridge was designed by I.F. Stern of Chicago.
Its stomach is not ruminating, although it has three chambers, and is more complex than those of pigs. Peccaries are omnivores, and will eat insects, grubs, and occasionally small animals, although their preferred foods consist of roots, grasses, seeds, fruit, and cacti—particularly prickly pear. Pigs and peccaries can be differentiated by the shape of the canine tooth, or tusk. In European pigs, the tusk is long and curves around on itself, whereas in peccaries, the tusk is short and straight.
A second branch of the ridge curves around south and then west from Ullister Hill, terminating in Whinlatter fell. Between Whinlatter and the main east-west ridge is the quiet valley of Aiken Beck. North eastward from Lord's Seat, branching off from the ridge connection to Barf, is a long and sometimes imperceptible watershed which runs up the shore of Bassenthwaite. This divides the catchments of Wythop Beck (flowing north west) and Beck Wythop, a short stream running directly east into the lake.
US 13 and US 64 travel eastward to Williamston. The roadway curves around the south and east sides of the city, where US 17 joins and US 64 leaves. US 13/17 continue north on a four lane alignment until Williamston, where it bypasses the town to the west. On the north side, though, US 13 leaves at an interchange on North King Street, traveling north on a two-lane road, while US 17 carries the freeway east towards the ocean.
The great cardiac vein (left coronary vein) begins at the apex of the heart and ascends along the anterior longitudinal sulcus to the base of the ventricles. It then curves around the left margin of the heart to reach the posterior surface. It merges with the oblique vein of the left atrium to form the coronary sinus, which drains into the right atrium. At the junction of the great cardiac vein and the coronary sinus, there is typically a valve present.
The Yangtze River curves around the north and west border of Nan'an district for about 45 kilometers. The river separates Nan'an from its neighbouring districts such as Jiulongpo, Yuzhong, Jiangbei, and Yubei. The bridges crossing the Yangtze River are the primary passage for transportations to and from the other side of the river. Ferries are also available as a backup and they used to be the only connection to the central part of downtown Chongqing before the first bridge was built in the early 1980s.
1968 black Dodge Charger The entire B-body lineup for the 1968 model year was redesigned and the Charger was further differentiated from the Dodge Coronet models. The first generation's efforts to look somewhat posh were abandoned in favor of designer Richard Sias' double-diamond coke bottle profile, with curves around the front fenders and rear quarter panels. Front and rear end sheet metal was designed by Harvey J. Winn. The rear end featured a "kick up" spoiler appearance, inspired by Group 7 racing vehicles.
The Gould House is set facing south on the north side of Elm Street, overlooking the Kennebec River. It is 2-1/2 stories in height, fashioned with brick and frame construction. The first floor and foundation are brick, and the upper floors are finished in decorative shingle siding. The asymmetrical massing is typical of the Queen Style, with an elaborately decorated single- story porch that curves around to the west side, and several different sizes and shapes of gables and projections from its roof.
SR 13 begins at an interchange with US 19/SR 9, which are aligned onto two one-way streets: Spring Street NW southbound and Peachtree Street NE northbound. The highway starts heading west but curves around to the northeast along a section of freeway adjacent to I-85. A half-interchange provides a shortcut for southbound traffic to Peachtree Street and from Peachtree Street to SR 13 north. The ramps provide a savings of by allowing vehicles to avoid the southernmost section of the connector.

Richmond sits opposite East Twickenham on what is technically the south bank of the River Thames, but owing to the way this stretch of the river's meanders, the town is immediately north and north-east of its nearest stretch of river. The Thames curves around the town, and then Kew, in its course; starting from Petersham it reverts to a more definitively west–east axis.
Norman chapel inside the White Tower St. John's Chapel is located in the Tower of London. The building dates from 1080. A Romanesque chapel, St. John's is on the second floor of the White Tower, which was built in 1077–97 as a keep or citadel, the oldest part of William the Conqueror's powerful fortress. It was constructed from stone imported from France, and has a tunnel-vaulted nave with an east apse and groin-vaulted aisles, and the gallery above curves around the apse.
North of downtown Woodsfield, SR 800 breaks away at Oaklawn Avenue, while SR 26 continues north. At the Monroe County Airport, the route heads east through a mountainous region of Center Township. The route makes several hairpin curves around its crossing of the Sunfish Creek but heads in a north-northwest direction after ascending a hill. In the village of Jerusalem, SR 26 shares a concurrency with SR 145 east out of the town; the two routes split before reaching the village of Wilson.
This signal is frequently used as a calming signal, and it is the main reason why dogs may react so strongly towards meeting dogs when they are forced to approach head on. Their instincts tell them that it is wrong to approach someone like that. Forcing dogs to approach each other head on can cause them to feel anxious and defensive, and can eventually result in aggressive behavior like barking and lunging at other dogs. Dogs, when given a chance, will walk in curves around each other.

Two highways approach Hospital Bend from the City Bowl: the N2, known as Nelson Mandela Boulevard, from the Foreshore; and the M3, known as De Waal Drive, from Gardens. They merge west of the hospital, with the outward-bound lanes of the M3 passing on a bridge over the N2, to form a freeway of five lanes in each direction. This freeway curves around the southern side of the hospital and past the UCT Medical School before dividing again.
Upon reaching the lake, the road turns to the northeast as it generally follows the contours of the lakeshore and St. Clair River further down. The road passes through New Baltimore and curves around the northern edge of Anchor Bay, which is part of Lake St. Clair. West of I-94, the route continues as 23 Mile Road. From there the route swings to the south, following the eastern shore of the lake before turning back to the east as it approaches the Harsens Island Ferry docks.
The construction dates of some elements of the grounds are unknown, but the present sharply-curved racetrack was finished in 1889 or earlier. In 1890, donations by average citizens paid for the construction of a grandstand by the track to supplement a nearby hillside where fairgoers had previously sat. Instead of being placed simply along one side of the track, the grandstand curves around the northeastern turn of the track; it is the only curved grandstand at an Ohio county fairgrounds.Owen, Lorrie K., ed.
The residential area extends from Leiruvogur into the nearby valleys, and curves around the mountains. It is close to beautiful nature, with an attractive and diverse community and cultural life, and offers numerous outdoor activities and a family-friendly environment. Travelers who head out of Reykjavík towards the west and north of Iceland will pass through Mosfellsbær on route 1, while the road to the Þingvellir National Park, route 36, branches off in Mosfellsbær up the Mosfellsdalur valley. The town is bordered by the ocean at Leiruvogur.
Business US 60 in Mansfield begins at the interchange of US 60 and Route 5, with which the business route is briefly united. It joins the old highway alignment just south of the interchange, turning east. The route curves around to become Clark Street, which angles off to become Commercial Street in the downtown area. In the middle of the city, the business route leaves the old alignment (which continues down Route A) and turns north to rejoin the main route in the northeast corner of Mansfield.
About further north, US 27 turned to the northwest, separating from Bagley Road. The expressway transitions back to a full freeway as the trunkline turns north and curves around the east side of Ithaca, meeting the southern end of Ithaca's business loop at Center Road, and the opposite end north of town. Further north, US 27 angled northwesterly between Alma and St. Louis. Each city has its own business loop, accessible on the south side through a pair of partial interchanges at Lincoln and State roads.
Parma was originally located a few miles east of its current location along the Michigan Central Railroad at a stop known as Gidley's Station. When it was moved to its current location, it was known as Groveland, after a noticeable grove of trees within the town. Part of this grove still exists where Grove St. curves around a copse of trees near its intersection with Westlawn St. in the eastern half of Parma. When the village was incorporated in 1847, its name was changed to Parma.
The original straight track through Linden became the northbound line and a new southbound line was constructed that curves around the station. Pedestrian access between the north and southbound tracks was provided from Collins Avenue at the north end and a steel and concrete overbridge with ramps was constructed at the south end to provide access to Rawson and Hinau Streets. A feature of the overbridge was the high wooden sides to shelter pedestrians from the strong winds which are prevalent above Linden Station.
In the community of Waverley, the route encounters the northern terminus of former Highway 27, now Simcoe County Road 27. Wyebridge North of Waverley, the highway continues to meander north towards Georgian Bay, departing from the old Penetanguishene Road at Mertz's Corner. The route curves around the western side of a large marsh before entering the community of Wyebridge, where it crosses the Wye River. Several kilometres north of Wyebridge, Highway 93 ends southwest of Midland at Highway 12; the two share northern termini.
On the south facade, the same side as the main entrance, is the main gopura, which is much larger than the others. A large broad steep laterite staircase, also facing south and extending well down into Cambodian territory, leads to the entrance of the temple. There is also a laterite staircase that leads down to a stream on the Cambodian side which curves around the temple. The orientation of Ta Muen Thom is very similar to that of Prasat Hin Phimai and others at Phimai Historical Park.
On the way up it passes through a ransacked temple with murals of the yeti, warning the riders that the mountain is his territory. At the top of the mountain the train curves around the main peak and goes through a cave. When it emerges, it draws to a halt in front of track that has been torn apart, presumably by the yeti. The train itself is held in place by a series of rubber tires while an automatic switch rotates the piece of track directly behind the train.
Conasauga Creek flows from its source in the Unicoi Range (part of the Appalachian Mountains) in Monroe County. It flows by the town of Coker Creek and, following a generally northeast route, passes between Mocking Crow Mountain and Pine Mountain to emerge into the valley of Rural Vale. From there it curves around the northern end of Starr Mountain, turning east and then southeast. Starr Mountain marks the boundary between the higher mountains of the southern Blue Ridge Mountains and the lower ridges of the Ridge-and-valley Appalachians.
M-10 intersects M-8 where it transitions between Davison Avenue and the Davison Freeway on the western edge of Highland Park before the Lodge Freeway curves around to run due west. M-10 runs for about on this due westward course before it intersects Wyoming Avenue and turns northwest. The frontage roads change names from John C. Lodge Service Drive to James Couzens Freeway at the Wyoming Avenue interchange. The freeway continues for another with interchanges for local streets in this part of Detroit, including 7 Mile Road.
The central segment of State Road 10A can be found Baya Avenue south of Downtown Lake City between near Newco to near Lake Hamburg in Lake City. Most of the road is a four-lane undivided highway with center-left turn lanes, except at its termini where the road is divided. State Road 10A resumes at an intersection with turning ramps that contains an eastbound turning ramp with a signalized crosswalk in the middle. Two intersections exist (one of them being CR 1219) before the road curves around the northeastern edge of Lake Montgomery.
It arises by a thin aponeurosis from the anterior margins of the lower half of the symphysis pubis and the upper half of the pubic arch. The muscle's fibers run vertically downward, ending in a rounded tendon. This tendon passes behind the medial condyle of the femur, curves around the medial condyle of the tibia where it becomes flattened, and inserts into the upper part of the medial surface of the body of the tibia, below the condyle. For this reason, the muscle is a lower limb adductor.
View at the north end of SR 878 looking south The southern terminus of SR 878 is at the eastern base of Slide Mountain, in the mountains of the Carson Range near Lake Tahoe, at the parking lot for the Winters Creek Lodge of the Mount Rose Ski Resort. From this point, one can see Washoe Valley and Washoe Lake in the distance. From here, the highway curves around the northeastern side of the mountain, traveling about to its northern terminus at an intersection with Mount Rose Highway (SR 431), not far from Mount Rose.
The word "thoracic" means pertaining to the chest, and the thoracic spine comprises the upper portion of the spine that corresponds to the chest area. The upper spine includes twelve vertebrae, and each of the upper nine vertebrae in this section attach to a rib on either side of the spine. Each of the ribs then curves around the side of the body and attaches to the breastbone in front. This forms a sturdy structure (the thoracic cage) that supports and protects the internal organs — the heart, lungs and liver.
The line then encounters Wanamaker Yard near Darby Creek which is crossed using the former PRR bascule bridge, still active for water traffic (the adjacent Reading Company drawbridge, identical in design, was abandoned by Conrail and is permanently raised). Entering Eddystone, the line passes the Boeing Helicopter Facility and Exelon's Eddystone Generation Facility. After passing those two companies, the line briefly curves around a few industries before returning to follow PA 291. At this point, the line briefly parallels the highway and Amtrak's Northeast Corridor and enters Chester.
After Forrest Highway crosses the Brunswick River, continues southwards towards the Collie River for another . It crosses the river, then curves around Eaton to head westward to the Eelup Roundabout, which it reaches after travelling for and crossing the adjacent Preston River. The signalised roundabout provides access into Bunbury, as well as to Robertson Road, a ring road that connects to South Western Highway and Bussell Highway. When the highway was first opened in 2009, the average daily weekday traffic volume north of Old Bunbury Road was 9,680.
Located in the Drainage basin of the Adour, the Gave d'Ossau forms the eastern border as it curves around the town and continues west, forming the northern border of the commune, to join the Gave d'Aspe to form the Gave d'Oloron at Oloron-Sainte-Marie. Many tributaries rise in the south of the commune and flow north to join the Gave d'Ossau including the Lamisou, the Arrec de Baycabe, the Ruisseau du Bois de Nougué, the Arrec de Lacerbelle, and the Ruisseau du Termy which forms the western border of the commune.
I-75 begins its northward journey at an interchange with SR 826 (Palmetto Expressway) and SR 924 (Gratigny Parkway) on the Hialeah–Miami Lakes border, near Miami. As it curves around the border of Miami Lakes, I-75 serves some of the western fringes of South Florida as an eight-lane highway. After an exit with SR 860, I-75 has an interchange with the Homestead Extension of Florida's Turnpike before crossing into Broward County. There, it continues through the western suburbs of Pembroke Pines, Weston, Miramar, Davie, and Southwest Ranches.
The interchange is a major traffic hub for the San Francisco Bay Area. From the interchange, I-280 then runs just to the west of the larger cities of San Francisco Peninsula for most of its route to San Francisco. I-680 curves around the eastern cities of the Bay Area to join I-80 in Fairfield, providing a connection to Sacramento. US 101 heads north along the eastern side of the San Francisco Peninsula to San Francisco, and south to the California Central Coast and Los Angeles.
In front of Penobscot's town hall, SR 199 intersects SR 175 and then both head west forming a wrong-way concurrency alongside Northern Bay. The road curves around the north side of the bay and its coves before SR 175 breaks away from the concurrency after . SR 175 heads almost due west towards the Penobscot Bay passing through a mostly wooded area before ending at SR 166, Castine Road. Along its concurrency with SR 15, SR 175 is part of the state highway system therefore maintained by Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT) year-round.
MD 373 continues east through the hamlet of Danville and curves around Lake Ruth, an impoundment of Burch Branch of Piscataway Creek. The highway intersects MD 5 (Branch Avenue) just west of its eastern terminus at a T intersection with county-maintained Brandywine Road in the hamlet of T.B. west of the center of Brandywine. This junction is just west of Brandywine Road's junction with unsigned MD 631 (Old Brandywine Road). Brandywine Road becomes a state highway, MD 381, at its intersection with U.S. Route 301 (Robert Crain Highway) to the east.
When the Ridge Route Alternate bypassed the site to the west, the inn was not rebuilt, and all that remains are concrete steps. About north of the National Forest Inn is Serpentine Drive, where the road curves around the sides of hills as it climbs out of a low point in the route (about above sea level). North of the curves, the road passes through Swede's Cut, also called Big Cut, Culebra Excavation, or Castaic Cut. The cut was the largest on the route, with a depth of .
Mishicot Road twists around for about 1.19 mi (1.91 km) until Highway 147 heads out of Two Rivers. The highway curves around for 3.15 miles (5.07 km) before visiting the Village of Mishicot. The road also becomes Main Street in Mishicot. Highway 147 continues on Main Street while crossing the East Twin River and County Highway B. About half of a mile outside of Mishicot, the road becomes mostly rural until the northern terminus where I-43 goes north and south and County Road Z continues westward to Maribel and Wayside.
State Route 215 (SR 215) is an unsigned, east–west, state highway entirely within the city limits of South Fulton, Tennessee, although the direction is more northwest to southeast as it curves around the southwest part of the city. It is better known as US 45E and is briefly US 51 near the Kentucky state line. The route serves as a bypass for South Fulton. The northwestern portion is a four-lane divided highway and the southeastern portion is a four lane undivided highway with a center left turn lane.
VT 44 begins at an intersection with VT 106 north of the hamlet of Felchville in the southeastern part of the town of Reading. The two-lane highway crosses Mill Brook, which it parallels for its entire length, and enters the town of West Windsor. VT 44 crosses Willow Brook near Best's Covered Bridge and Mill Brook again near the Bowers Covered Bridge. The highway crosses Mill Brook twice more in the town as it curves around the northern flank of Mount Ascutney. VT 44 crosses Beaver Brook while passing through the village of Brownsville.
The highways then makes a series of three curves around a small hill with a house on it. From the curves, K-152 continues east for a short distance before reaching its eastern terminus at US-69 east of La Cygne. The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) tracks the traffic levels on its highways, and in 2017, they determined that on average the traffic varied from 675 vehicles per day near the western terminus to 2780 vehicles per day slightly east of La Cynge. The second highest was 2310 near the eastern terminus.
The Jasenica originates from several streams, most notably the Đurinci (Cyrillic: Ђуринци) from Venčac mountain, and the Srebrenica (Cyrillic: Сребреница) from the northern slopes of the Rudnik mountain in central Serbia. At its origin, the river runs through the eastern border of the Kačer region. It flows to the southeast initially, curves around the Rudnik, passes the villages of Donja Šatornja, Blaznava and reaches Stragari, the northernmost municipality of the City of Kragujevac. The area is known as the geographical center of Serbia (near the village of Čumić).
At the intersection of Main and Bridge Streets, LA 86 has a second junction with LA 344 at the opposite end of its route. Soon afterward, LA 86 intersects LA 3242, which travels eastward to Dauterive Landing on the shore of Lake Dauterive. Leaving Loreauville, LA 86 curves around a northern bend in Bayou Teche and intersects two state highways located apart: LA 345 (Coteau Holmes Road) and LA 680 (Bacon Road). Now heading southwest as Daspit Road, LA 86 curves away from the bayou, which then snakes back toward the highway at Daspit.
On another area of land, to the north-east of the main site, the remains of a donkey boiler and a mine shaft are extant. During the time of the meatworks, a tram ran from the site across to the main meatworks site. While no physical evidence of the tramline remains, what is apparent is an earthed, built-up area, indicating the position of the line. This is located to the west of the shaft and boiler and curves around, running south-west, disappearing before it reaches Settlement Road.
The peaks of the Gowlland Range, from which the park derives its name, loom over above Saanich Inlet, providing vistas of The Malahat to the west. Farther north, the park curves around inland, bounded to the north by the municipality of Central Saanich. There are of maintained trails within the park, accessible in the south from roads leading to the park from Highlands, as well as from trails alongside Tod Inlet and McKenzie Bight to the north. Trails connect to Mount Work Regional Park and Lone Tree Hill Regional Park.
Highspire is located in southern Dauphin County at (40.207622, -76.784698), on the northeast bank of the Susquehanna River. Interstate 76, the Pennsylvania Turnpike, curves around the west and north sides of the borough, with indirect access from Exit 247 (Interstate 283). Pennsylvania Route 230 (Second Street) is the main road through the borough, leading northwest through Steelton to Harrisburg and southeast to Middletown and to Elizabethtown. According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of , of which is land and , or 2.96%, is water.
I-35 continues, resplitting lanes again as it curves around the northwest corner of Downtown and turns east. It rejoins the lanes as it goes through an intersection at the northeast corner of Downtown, where I-37's northern terminus is located, while US 281 will continue on the north–south freeway. I-35 continues east for a few miles until it begins to curve back to the northeast. It merges with I-410 on its eastern north–south leg from its northbound direction in a triangular interchange and continues north concurrently from there.
The freeway intersects the northern end of the business loop immediately east of downtown at an interchange that also features US 12 (Chicago Road). A third interchange, some further north, features a distribution center for Walmart stores in the region. Further north, the freeway curves around to the northwest into Calhoun County and crosses over the St. Joseph River. I-69/US 27 turned back northward and bypassed Tekonsha to the town's west, intersecting M-60 in the process. Curving around Nottawa Lake, I-69/US 27 continued northward through southern Calhoun County.
The street lies at the 17000 North alignment of the Maricopa County grid system. At its eastern terminus, the main segment of Bell Road, approximately in length, begins at the corporate boundaries of Phoenix and Scottsdale at its intersection with Scottsdale Road. Traveling west, the road intersects State Route 51 and Interstate 17 in Phoenix, the Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) in Peoria, and Grand Avenue and Loop 303 in Surprise. West of the Beardsley Canal, the roadway curves around the White Tank Mountain Regional Park, becoming the Sun Valley Parkway.
M-14 is an east–west state trunkline highway in the southeastern portion of the US state of Michigan. Entirely freeway, it runs for to connect Ann Arbor with Detroit by way of a connection with Interstate 96 (I-96). The western terminus is at a partial interchange with I-94 west of Ann Arbor. From there, the freeway curves around the north side of Ann Arbor and runs concurrently with US Highway 23 (US 23). East of that section, M-14 passes through woodlands and fields in Washtenaw County.
The freeway crosses a rail line operated by CSX Transportation The freeway passes Ford Motor Company's Sheldon Road Plant near the Sheldon Road interchange. There is a crossing for another CSX rail line near the bridges over the River Rouge by the St. Johns Golf Course. The freeway through this area curves around a bit north of its previous course. As M-14 nears the Livonia city line, it meets an interchange with I-96 and I-275 that marks the eastern terminus of M-14 in Plymouth Township.
This interchange is also located at the 11 Mile Road location in the Mile Road System. M-97 crosses through the southeast corner of Fraser between 13 Mile and 14 Mile roads after which it enters Clinton Township. There is a major intersection with Metropolitan Parkway, which is a limited access county primary road that occupies the 16 Mile location Detroit Mile Road System. Between this intersection and Harrington Street, Groesbeck Highway curves around to the north, crossing the Clinton River and the railroad then entering Mt. Clemens.
Austin Rose Garden Green Man In 1967, the A41 road through the village was bypassed and it now curves around the northern part of the village. In 1969, David C.H. Austin opened up the David Austin Plant Centre on the western edge of the village bordering the A464 road. David Austin Roses are renowned the world over for their roses and the site is open to the public providing a large tourist attraction in the village. In 1998, the village granted the Officers and Men of RAF Cosford the right to exercise through the village.

The town lies south- southeast of Glenrothes, east-northeast of Dunfermline, west-southwest of Dundee and north-northeast of Edinburgh. The town adopted its nickname of the lang toun from the single street, recorded on early maps of the 16th and 17th centuries.
The circumflex scapular artery (scapular circumflex artery, dorsalis scapulae artery) is a branch of the subscapular artery and part of the scapular anastomoses. It curves around the axillary border of the scapula, traveling through the anatomical "Triangular space" made up of the Teres minor superiorly, the Teres major inferiorly, and the long head of the Triceps laterally. It enters the infraspinatous fossa under cover of the Teres minor, and anastomoses with the transverse scapular artery (suprascapular) and the descending branch of the transverse cervical (a.k.a. dorsal scapular artery).
One shoulder of the maitreya is slightly higher than the other and the upper body is slightly bent forward which also creates the impresses on the viewer an aura of deep thought. The statue wears a crown which is rather elaborate with many prongs and parts of the crown rest on the shoulders of the maitreya. The statue is also dressed in a complicated scarf-like vestment that curves around the body with wing-like projections. The left foot rests on a base which is shaped like a lotus flower.
View east at the west end of MD 286 at MD 537 in Chesapeake City MD 286 begins at an intersection with George Street (unsigned MD 537C) on the south side of the town of Chesapeake City. The highway heads east as two-lane undivided 2nd Street through the South Chesapeake City Historic District. At Bohemia Avenue, MD 286 becomes Bethel Road and curves around the Back Creek Mooring Basin. After crossing Back Creek, the highway makes a right-angle turn at the entrance to the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal Museum, which includes the Old Lock Pump House.
Elwyn, current terminus of the Media/Elwyn Line Media/Elwyn Line trains use the West Chester Line, formerly the Pennsylvania Railroad's West Chester Branch, which diverges from the SEPTA Main Line at 30th Street Station. At Arsenal Interlocking, just south of Penn Medicine, there is a junction with Amtrak's Northeast Corridor where Airport and Wilmington/Newark trains diverge. The West Chester branch turns west, curves around the Woodlands Cemetery, and heads west towards Elwyn. From University City to Fernwood–Yeadon, the line is grade-separated; immediately west of Fernwood/Yeadon station, the abandoned Newtown Square Branch diverges north.
SR 173 officially begins at the Lincolnville Ferry Terminal of the Islesboro Ferry (connecting to the town of Islesboro). The route winds through the community of Lincolnville within the town of the same name before reaching U.S. Route 1 (US 1). Now following Beach Road, SR 173 generally heads northwest through forested area paralleling Frohock Brook at first as it curves around hills of Camden Hills State Park. The road makes sharper curves at the communities of Carvers Corner and Stevens Corner until it reaches Drakes Corner where SR 52 forms a concurrency with SR 173\.
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington District, "Robert C. Byrd Locks and Dam", accessed 19 Oct. 2019. The Ohio Sixteenmile drains much of the southern part of the district. Its upper waters are in western Arbuckle District, along with its tributaries, the Wolfpen Branch and the Willow Branch, which join the main branch southeast of Arlee, along the district boundary. Sixteenmile curves around the base of Loggerhead Ridge, meeting the Loggerhead Fork, and flows south for about three miles past Potts Hollow and Potts Chapel Ridge, and meets the Righthand Fork flowing west from the hills near Sevenmile Ridge.
The roughed-in centre platform to be potentially used as a Spanish solution A connecting track from the southbound Yonge–University line, used only if cars or work equipment need to be transferred between the two lines, curves around to a point 500 metres west of Yonge, where the Sheppard line tunnel actually begins. This provides an area where trains can be stored clear of the line. In the station, the Sheppard line tracks cross above the Yonge line. The Sheppard line station has platforms on the outer sides of the tracks, but there is also a roughed-in centre platform.
Directly to the west, with some open space between them and Silverlode, are two rows of attached condominium-style units on Free Silver Court and Nicholas Lane. On the southwest, across Park Circle, are seven tennis courts, buffering a densely developed residential area on their west. The mine property consists of a lower area at the foot of a large tailings pile, with a large circular unpaved road along which many vehicles and truck trailers are parked. A two-lane road curves around to the north to climb to a small complex of buildings uphill near a smaller tailings pile.
The channel splits into two, and joins up again after both routes have passed under the Great Western Railway line connecting and , which bisects the training area. The depot had its own internal standard-gauge railway network, which crossed Bow Brook four times to the west of the main line railway, and another four times to the east.Ordnance Survey, 1:10,000 map, 1989-91 The Brook then curves around the southern edge of a mound on which the earthworks for Bulls Down Camp stand. This was an Iron Age hillfort, covering , which has never been excavated archaeologically, and is a scheduled monument.
The station entrance The station is located on the western edge of downtown Hartford, on a three- acre () block between Union Place and Spruce Street on the east and west and Church and Asylum streets to the north and south.Clouette, Bruce; ; National Park Service; July 9, 1975, retrieved April 9, 2011. Opposite the main building on Union Place are a mixture of other old buildings and parking lots. To the west is a triangular parking lot and the viaduct carrying Interstate 84 and U.S. Route 6, which curves around the north of the station as well.
Expectations of the patient, the age, possible recovery time and areas to improve are some of the many factors taken in consideration before choosing a technique of rhytidectomy. In the traditional facelift, an incision is made in front of the ear extending up into the hairline. The incision curves around the bottom of the ear and then behind it, usually ending near the hairline on the back of the neck. After the skin incision is made, the skin is separated from the deeper tissues with a scalpel or scissors (also called undermining) over the cheeks and neck.
This bend in the A3078 curves around the rampart of Dingerein Castle, an Iron Age hill fort Gerrans parish church (dedicated to St Gerent or Gerendus) was built in the 13th century and enlarged in the 15th century when the south and aisle and the tower topped with a spire were added. However, in 1849 everything except the tower was rebuilt (by William White of Truro) though this was done as closely as possible to the original church. The two-stage tower is buttressed, battlemented, and topped by a spire. There is a fine Cornish cross in the churchyard.
The front of the property has a very impressive entrance stairway and rock wall, which was built in either the first or second stage of construction ( or 1909). The return section of the stairs leading up to the house survives under the present verandah. The front stone wall joins onto the side brick wall which curves around the corner of the property and is situated over the boundary line on an unnamed laneway which runs between Herbert Street and Cleveland Terrace. The brick wall and the stone wall are noted in the 1926 and later surveys.
The Slea rises near West Willoughby, two miles south-west of Ancaster, at an altitude of 70 metres. The river descends 30 metres in the first 3 km of its course through Ancaster before flowing past a Site of Special Scientific Interest (alongside Sleaford Golf Club) into Sleaford. Through Sleaford it flows above ground in two separate courses, and then curves around the foot of The Hub where a new riverside sculpture walk follows it. Leaving Sleaford, it passes Haverholme and runs down through South Kyme where it is known as the Kyme Eau to join the River Witham at Chapel Hill.
Junction with Pennsylvania Route 46 PA 446 beginning at the state line with a plethora of signage denoting the switch from NY 305 PA 446 begins at a fork with its parent route, PA 46 in the Farmers Valley community of Keating Township. Here, the highway is almost above sea level. At the base of a mountain, PA 446 passes through Farmers Valley and passes to the north of a landmark called Diegel Hollow, running parallel to a Western New York and Pennsylvania Railroad line. The highway curves around the base of a mountain north of Prospect Hill.
I-81 meets Showalter Road, which is used to access Hagerstown Regional Airport, at a cloverleaf interchange (Exit 10) as the freeway gently curves around the airport's runway. The Interstate heads northeast to the Pennsylvania state line, on top of which the highway meets PA 163 (Mason Dixon Road) at Exit 1 of the Pennsylvania exit sequence. The southbound exit ramp to and entrance ramp from PA 163 are in Maryland and the northbound ramps are in Pennsylvania. I-81, like all Interstate highways, is a part of the National Highway System for its entire length.
The township is shares its western boundary with Serena Township, and its northern boundary with Northville Township. The township border is defined by where the Fox River goes southwest, turns south, then continues to go east, south, west, northwest, north, and then it then curves to go southwest again, forming an awkward "S" shape on the map. The community of Sheridan resides at the beginning of the bends in the river, and the community of Norway resides where the river flows north, and then curves around to flow southwest. Millington resides along the river, northeast of Sheridan.
The Rainbow Range, formerly gazetted as the Rainbow Mountains, is a mountain range in British Columbia, Canada, located northwest of Anahim Lake. Located on the western edge of the Chilcotin Plateau, the range adjoins the Coast Mountains Pacific Ranges to the south, and the Kitimat Ranges to the north. In some classification systems it is considered part of the Coast Mountains. It lies north of the Bella Coola and Atnarko Rivers and south and west of the Dean River, which curves around its north flank, and is relatively drier in climate and easier of terrain than more mountainous areas immediately west.
To prevent that, the Chazon Ish rulesThis is rejected by the Brisker Rav (see at page 69), who rules that the use of this meridian is absolute. that the contiguous land masses to the east of that line of longitude are considered secondary (tafel) to the land masses west of that line. As a result, he rules that the date line runs along 125.2°E when over water, but curves around the eastern coast of mainland Asia and Australia. By this view, Russia, China and Australia are west of the date line and observe Shabbat on local Saturday.
State Road 969 begins at Flagler Street (SR 968) and heads north through residential areas, quickly intersecting the Dolphin Expressway. North of the Dolphin Expressway, SR 969 borders the Miami International Airport to its east, and airport-related business to the west as the road curves around the western end of the airport to accommodate an extended runway. North of the runway, SR 969 resumes in its cardinal north direction and passes by and through business parks and industrial parks for the remainder of the road. The road intersects State Road 948 near Virginia Gardens, with SR 969 continuing north.
The new campus is 4 stories high, but occupies a larger footprint than the original. New building opened in September 2010 The design of the Crescent shaped atrium was driven by the requirement to retain an oak tree copse within the campus area. The atrium curves around the copse on one side and on the other, a moat separates the copse from other parts of the campus. Five buildings radiate from the Crescent site, including the Library building, the Theatre building and the other three buildings, named East, West and North, based on the general direction each one faces.

The front of the neck is whitish or light grey, the hind neck is darker grey, and the yellow of the bill is less obvious than in summer. Although the red-necked grebe is unmistakable in breeding plumage, it is less distinctive in winter and can be confused with similar species.
The preceding Prominent Americans series had been deliberately produced without basic design guidelines, resulting in widely diverse pictorial and lettering styles. In clear contrast, the Americana series strictly followed a uniform plan that dictated the appearance both of individual stamps and of stamps grouped together in blocks of four. Each denomination is framed on two adjacent sides by text (generally relating to American history or freedoms) which curves around one corner of the stamp. The twenty sheet-stamps are planned so that, in a group of four rising values, the curve cycles through the four corners: top left, top right, bottom left, and bottom right.
SR 347 begins at a T-intersection with SR 287 in Zane Township, Logan County just northeast of the unincorporated community of Middleburg. SR 287 heads southwest and southeast from this point, while SR 347 heads northwest. The road at this point is parallel to US 33 which is routed along a freeway, SR 347 through this area is itself an old alignment of US 33. After and in Perry Township, SR 347 curves around the ramps of an interchange and comes to an intersection with Logan County Route 144. SR 347 turns right at this intersection and reaches the ends of the aforementioned interchange wit US 33.
Near Olivet, I-69 begins to turn in a northeasterly direction and curves around the north side of town. On the south side of Charlotte, I-69 turns northward, traversing an area to the east of downtown and crossing the former routing of US 27, which is now part of the business loop for the city. Farther north, the freeway has a junction with M-50, a bridge over the Battle Creek River, and an interchange with the northern end of the business loop next to Fitch H. Beach Airport. North of the airport, I-69 turns northeasterly again and parallels Lansing Road, the former route of US 27/M-78.
The Southern Fells include the highest ground in England, a horseshoe which begins with Scafell and Scafell Pike in the west and then curves around the north of Upper Eskdale to take in Great End, Esk Pike, Bowfell and Crinkle Crags. In addition to Eskdale, Bowfell has a footing in two other well known valleys. It stands at the head of Great Langdale — its east ridge dividing the two branches of Mickleden and Oxendale — while to the north is the Langstrath branch of Borrowdale. From all of these valleys Bowfell presents a striking profile with a conical top resting upon a wider summit plateau.
Kingsway runs in a south-westerly direction until the junction with the M60 motorway, when it curves around to run south-east. It begins in Levenshulme continuing from Slade Lane, and heads south-west through Fallowfield, Ladybarn, Burnage, and Parrs Wood where it originally ended. It continues south-west through East Didsbury, until it reaches the motorway, and then it heads south-east through Gatley and Cheadle, before it joins to the Handforth bypass at Cheadle Royal which was opened in 1995. The junction with the A560 road in Gatley is one of the busiest in Greater Manchester with over 7000 vehicles passing through during the rush hour.
The next corner, Druids, is a hairpin bend, negotiated after an uphill braking zone at Hailwood Hill. The track then curves around the south bank spectator area into the downhill, off-camber Graham Hill Bend, and another, slightly bent stretch at the Cooper Straight, which runs parallel to the pit lane. After the straight, the circuit climbs uphill though the decreasing-radius Surtees turn, before moving onto the back straight where the track's top speeds can be reached. The most significant elevation changes on the circuit occur here at Pilgrim's Drop and Hawthorn Hill, which leads into Hawthorn Bend (with some parts approaching 7%).

During the long hot summer of 1967, when more than 100 race riots broke out around the country, Dixie Hills joined the rebellion for three nights after Kwame Turé (then Stokely Carmichael) addressed a protest over a youngster’s shooting by a black policeman. In 1967, Atlanta historian Franklin Garrett described Dixie Hills as a small area of "small, neat, middle-class homes" of African Americans; "near the edge lies a large, low-rent, privately owned apartment complex which curves around a small shopping center". There were no swimming pools or shade trees or entertainment facilities.
The D#-Broadbench curves around a single user, making physically close collaborative work difficult. The gentle curve helps to enhance concentration, while its massive size makes it unsuitable for the typical cubicle and perfect for a small closed office, like the one each and every software developer has at Microsoft. The Bluespace prototype is filled with enhancements meant to manage and control the flow of disturbances coming to a user but not to completely stop them or discourage them in any definitive way. South of Croydon the road passed through the Caterham Gap in the North Downs; this natural corridor has been heavily developed with modern roads and railways, along with suburban housing, obliterating much of the ancient road. The road can, however, be found east of Caterham where the road curves around the west side of Tillingdown on a terraceway, marking the boundary between developed and undeveloped land. A distinct metalled agger was found at the northern end, while on the terrace it was 25 ft wide and well metalled with flint to a maximum depth of 12 in. As is often the case with Roman roads a parish boundary follows the line.
Compared with the bassoon, the contrabassoon has much greater difficulty producing notes with stability and projection in the (written) range corresponding to the top octave on bassoon. Its fingerings for this register are also completely different to the bassoon, because the contrabassoon has a different harmonic series and a simpler fingering system. Scoring for it very seldom calls for notes above written-pitch F or G above the bass staff, and the higher clefs are therefore seldom required. The instrument is twice as long as the bassoon, curves around on itself twice and, due to its weight and shape, is supported by an endpin rather than a seat strap.
A little further south, Ynysowen Community Primary School is on the west bank and the river curves around the eastern edge of Aberfan, part of the Merthyr Vale community. Below Aberfan, the river enters a wooded section, and the remains of the Merthyr Tramroad are sandwiched between the river and the modern railway. The Merthyr or Penydarren Tramroad was built in 1793, and was the scene of the first passenger carrying train journey in the world, when Richard Trevithick's high pressure steam locomotive pulled wagons containing 5 tons of iron ore and seventy passengers in 1804. The tramway ceased operation around 1880, and this section, which is a scheduled monument, is particularly well preserved.
Munson's Hill takes its name from Daniel O. Munson, who moved to a farm on the hill in 1851 and opened an extensive nursery, later called Munson Hill Nurseries, which operated into the mid-1900s. Munson was joined on his farm by his father, Timothy Bishop Munson, and they built a fine home on the south side of the Leesburg Pike, at the crook where it curves around the summit of Munson's Hill. The home was demolished 100 years later, in 1962, to make way for a large apartment building, Munson Hill Apartments (now Towers), which still stands on the site at 6129 Leesburg Pike.Melvin L. A long driveway curves down the slope, broken up by several ledges, to Saw Mill River Road, where an entrance post has "Juniper Ledge" incised into stone. At the house, almost the highest point of the property, it connects with a shorter drive from Ryder that serves as the main driveway today, then curves around the front lawn to the house. Among the trees planted on the property are many junipers and cedars. There is a garage to the east of the house and an in- ground swimming pool in the rear yard to its north; both date to after Catt's residence and are not considered contributing resources to the property's historic character.
The Uvac originates in the Pešter plateau from the Ninaja mountain, as Rasanska reka (Cyrillic: Расанска река). The stream curves around the Ninaja and Pometenik mountains, next to the villages of Tuzinje, Rasno, Dragojloviće and Gradac, where it meets Brnjička reka (Cyrillic: Брњичка река), enters the Sjenica depression and continues on depression eastern border as the Vapa (Cyrillic: Вапа), which is 25 kilometers long and drains an area of 496 km². The river passes next to the villages of Gornja Vapa, Donja Vapa, Čedovo and Krstac, where the Vapa receives from the left the short river Uvac, which originates on the Ozren mountain, and gives name to the downstream course of the river.
Google Maps street maps and USGS topographic maps, accessed July 2008 via ACME Mapper At Tintic Junction, the intersection with SR 36 in the Tintic Valley, US 6 turns east and ascends the East Tintic Mountains. It passes through the mining city of Eureka as it climbs to The Summit, before descending through Homansville Canyon into the Goshen Valley. Although it left behind the UP rail line at Tintic Junction, this part of US 6 parallels the former Tintic Branch of the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad, which has been partially abandoned. After passing through Goshen, the highway curves around the north side of Warm Springs Mountain and into the Utah Valley, where it enters Santaquin.
After leaving the Greenwood town limits, the road passes by two local airfields; the Acres of Diamonds Airpark and Chipola Airpark. Further north, it curves to the left and encounters the western terminus of another road to Bascom known as CR 164B (Hummingbird Road), which has no connection to County Road 164. The road then intersects a dirt road named Ford Road where it curves around a swamp named Baxter Bay and then enters the Town of Malone where it adopts the name 10th Street and intersects State Road 2. North of the Malone town limits, State Road 71 curves to the northwest as it passes by the Jackson County Correctional Institution.
After it was damaged by three days of heavy rains in 1926 it was abandoned for similar unreinforced construction housing on the plain surrounding it, and in some cases those, in turn, have been replaced by more modern cinder block and sheet metal roof buildings. Only one building in the Shali complex has been repaired and is in use, a mosque. Gradually eroded by infrequent rains and slowly collapsing, the Shali remains a prominent feature, towering five stories above the modern town and lit at night by floodlights. It is most easily approached from its southwest side, south of the end of the paved road which curves around from the north side of the Shali.
On the descent, MD 144 crosses I-68 again and receives a ramp from the eastbound direction of the freeway and the highways part ways around a quarry. MD 144 curves around the quarry and rejoins the side of I-68 as the highway passes West Wilson Road and crosses a tributary of Flintstone Creek. The state highway leaves the freeway and passes through the unincorporated village of Flintstone, where the state highway intersects the Exit 56 ramps to and from eastbound I-68 and Black Valley Road, which leads to ramps for westbound I-68. MD 144 joins I-68 and Flintstone Creek in passing through a gap in Warrior Mountain.
Jefferson Street continues north as State Road 166 taking the concurrency with CR 167 with it as it runs towards Chipola College, Florida Caverns State Park, and Marianna Municipal Airport. US 90/SR/73/CR 164 serves as the southern border of the Marianna Historic District until the road intersects Wynn Street. But historic sites can still be found beyond this point, among them a bed & breakfast next door to the 1840-built Ely-Criglar House, and later curves around the 1910-built Joseph W. Russ Jr. House which is also the county visitor's center. Later it becomes the eastern terminus of former CR 10A (Old Cottondale Road), and old section of US 90.
Two valleys - Cwm Nantcol ('valley of the Nantcol (stream)') and Cwm Bychan ('small valley') - lead deep into the mountains and may be reached from the village of Llanbedr. The most popular walking route in this area begins at the Roman Steps at , which leads from Cwm Bychan through Bwlch Tyddiad and around Rhinog Fawr. Despite the name, these steps are not Roman and are in fact the well preserved remains of a medieval packhorse trail leading from Chester to Harlech Castle. At the top of the Roman Steps, the route curves around the eastern end of Rhinog Fawr and enters Cwm Nantcol via Bwlch Drws Ardudwy (The Pass of the Doorway of Ardudwy).
The street begins in the Boston neighborhood of Dorchester and runs southeast-northwest through Boston, paralleling Interstate 93 for a short distance and interchanging with the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90). It crosses the Charles River from the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston into the city of Cambridge via the Harvard Bridge, where it bisects the campus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, passes through Central Square, and curves around two sides of Harvard Yard at Harvard Square. After Harvard Square it turns sharply northward, passes Harvard Law School, then passes through Porter Square, where it bears northwestward. It continues through North Cambridge, Arlington, and Lexington, where it enters the Minuteman National Historical Park.
Massachusetts Avenue passes through the inner ring of Dupont Circle and curves north at Sheridan Circle, paralleling Rock Creek to Belmont Road NW. After crossing Rock Creek over the Charles C. Glover Bridge, it curves around the United States Naval Observatory and Number One Observatory Circle, the official residence of the Vice President of the United States, which forms the southwest boundary of the Massachusetts Heights neighborhood. The Washington National Cathedral, located at the intersection of Mass and Wisconsin Avenues, is usually considered the end of Embassy Row. At Ward Circle, Massachusetts delineates the American University Park neighborhood from Spring Valley, passing to the north of American University. It crosses the Washington-Montgomery County, Maryland border at Westmoreland Circle.
Residents of Uelen, 1913 Uelen Orthodox church, August 2018 Uelen (; Chukchi: ; Siberian Yupik: Улыӄ, Naukan Yupik: Олыӄ; also known as Whalen in older English-language sources and Ugelen on USCGS charts) is a rural locality (a selo) in Chukotsky District, just south of the Arctic Circle in Chukotka Autonomous Okrug in the Russian Far East. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 720. Located near Cape Dezhnev where the Bering Sea meets the Chukchi Sea, it is the easternmost settlement in Russia and the whole of Eurasia. It is located in the Western Hemisphere, but the International Date Line curves around it, so it remains in a Russian time zone (UTC+12:00).
The suprascapular nerve arises from the upper trunk of the brachial plexus which is formed by the union of the ventral rami of the fifth and sixth cervical nerves. After branching from the upper trunk, the nerve passes across the posterior triangle of the neck parallel to the inferior belly of the omohyoid muscle and deep to the trapezius muscle. It then runs along the superior border of the scapula through the suprascapular canal, in which it enters via the suprascapular notch inferior to the superior transverse scapular ligament and enters the supraspinous fossa. It then passes beneath the supraspinatus, and curves around the lateral border of the spine of the scapula through spinogleniod notch to the infraspinous fossa.
View north along SR 151 north of SR 56 in Nelson County SR 151 begins at an intersection with US 29 (Amherst Highway) at the hamlet of Buffalo Hill north of Amherst in northern Amherst County. The state highway heads north as two-lane Patrick Henry Highway. SR 151 passes through the village of Clifford, which contains the historic homes Brick House and Winton; the latter property is preserved as part of a country club. The state highway curves around Turkey Mountain and enters Nelson County by crossing the Piney River. SR 151 passes through the hamlet of Piney River and intersects SR 56 (Tye Brook Highway) at a wye intersection; the southeast leg of the wye is unsigned, long SR 151Y.
The smaller suburb of Vauxhall surrounds the suburb on two sides, sitting on the point which juts out over the Andersons Bay Inlet to the southwest of Waverley and on a strip of Portobello Road which follows the Harbour coast to Waverley's northwest. This strip follows a fairly straight course as far as Vauxhall Yacht Club, then curves around a small bay before reaching Burns Point at the northernmost point of Vauxhall. Waverley continues to follow the higher slopes past Burns Point, but the coast road itself is sparsely populated from here as far as The Cove, to the east. In the early years of Dunedin, The cliffhead overlooking Andersons Bay Inlet was the site of a colourful and notorious recreation area, the Vauxhall Gardens.
However, the widening of US 27 to a six-lane highway continues in Polk County between here and SR 542 in Dundee. North of here, US 27 runs through Lake Hamilton, and curves around the eastern shores of the lake for which the community was named. After passing by a pair of gated communities and crossing over a bridge between Middle Lake Hamilton, and the ironically named larger Little Lake Hamilton, it curves north and intersects SR 544\. Taking a turn to the northeast after passing by Lake Henry, US 27 encounters another un- numbered interchange with U.S. Route 17/92 in Haines City, and immediately passes over another CSX Railroad Line that is used by Amtrak's Silver Star and Silver Meteor lines.
The route then enters Golden Gate Park and winds through it for about —circling Stow Lake; passing the Japanese Tea Garden, San Francisco Botanical Garden, and California Academy of Sciences; turning at the AIDS Memorial Grove; and exiting the park's East Portal at Stanyan Street. The route along its descent from Twin Peaks Briefly skirting the Haight-Ashbury and Cole Valley neighborhoods, the route ascends Parnassus Street and passes the University of California, San Francisco's main campus. Turning south onto 7th Avenue in the Inner Sunset, the route curves around Mount Sutro and the Laguna Honda Reservoir before turning east and climbing Twin Peaks. From Twin Peaks Boulevard, drivers are directed into the north peak's parking area and offered unobstructed views of the city below.
Goodman's Buildings is a two-storey rendered brick commercial and residential building with Victorian Filigree details, high parapet and façade which curves around the Parramatta Road and Johnston Street corner. The building houses thirteen separate shops and residences above with renovated shopfronts on the ground floor with suspended awnings and narrow balconies over on the Parramatta Road frontage and wide posted balconies along the Johnston Street frontage. The first floor balconies all feature cast iron lace balustrade and posts which support the corrugated iron roof (ogee profile). Large double hung timber framed windows are regularly spaced along the first floor facades topped by rendered cornice and mouldings and bayed parapet with moulded cement balustrade and decorative urns at the end of each bay.
SR 161 crosses through the toll plaza and curves around Maymont Park on the right, Dogwood Dell on the left and through the south side of William Byrd Park as Park Drive. SR 161 turns right onto a four-lane divided Blanton Avenue. It then passes an intersection with Douglasdale Road which has access to I-195 (Beltline Expressway) and toll SR 76 (Powhite Parkway). The highway reduces to two lanes before curving right to Grant Street and then curving left onto S. Arthur Ashe Boulevard where it is once again a four-lane divided highway. Upon departure of Byrd Park near Boat Lake is an interchange only to the eastbound lanes of Toll SR 195 (Downtown Expressway) to downtown Richmond.
Leaving Gatlinburg, the parkway becomes part of the Foothills Parkway as its spur route, although that roadway has yet to be built in the area (the right of way for it already includes land for a small interchange adjacent to the southern end of the Pigeon Forge city limit). This segment, on a narrow strip of National Park Service (NPS) land, is a four-lane divided highway which runs along both banks of the northward-flowing Little Pigeon River. Where the river briefly diverts to the west and back east again, the southbound roadway on the west bank also curves around, while the northbound lanes go through a tunnel. The Gatlinburg visitor center is located just before entering the town from the north.
View of the King's Cross Central development, February 2019 King's Cross Central (KXC) is a multi-billion pound mixed-use development in the north-east of central London. The site is owned and controlled by the King's Cross Central Limited Partnership. It consists of approximately of former railway lands to the north of King's Cross and St Pancras mainline railway stations. The site is largely determined by three boundaries: the existing East Coast Main Line railway leading out of King's Cross; York Way, a road marking the division between Camden and Islington boroughs; and the new railway line, High Speed 1 (HS1), formerly known as the Channel Tunnel Rail Link, which curves around the site to the north and west.
Vehicle access to the quarry site is restricted; however a car-park and picnic facilities including toilets are within walking distance of the main site, which is completely accessible on foot. There are several panels containing historical information about the site spread around as part of the popular Railway Reserves Heritage Trail, which runs close to the quarry. The Boya/Koongamia leg of the Railway Reserves Heritage Trail, also known as the "Bridle Trail", curves around the south-western edge of the park, crossing through the Mountain Quarry car-park and picnic area. Over-burnt south west side of Greenmount Hill affected by regular bush fires North side slope and communication tower In the early 2000s significant bushfire damage occurred on the southern slopes of this park.
A third track, which serves as a bi-directional slow line solely for the use of freight trains, curves around the back of the new station; as such, it intentionally does not have a platform face. The station is intended to be operated entirely unmanned. Access to the station is provided in the form of a dedicated dropping-off point, along with disabled car parking spaces and a taxi rank on the station's west side, which is accessible from Station Street; on the eastern side of the station, a longer- term car park is provided with a connection towards the nearby A610. The size of this car park had to be curtailed due to flooding and stability concerns affecting some of the site.
View west from the east end of SR 280 at US 33 in Massanetta Springs SR 280 begins at a four- legged intersection with SR 42 (High Street) on the western edge of the independent city of Harrisonburg. The west leg of the intersection is unnumbered Erickson Avenue, which is the same name the state highway takes as it heads southeast as a four-lane divided highway. SR 280 intersects the Elkton–Dayton rail line of the Chesapeake Western Railway at grade, curves around a subdivision as an undivided highway, and regains a median before it intersects US 11 (Main Street). The state highway continues southeast as Stone Spring Road, which crosses over Black Run and the Harrisonburg–Pleasant Valley rail line of the Chesapeake Western Railway.
After briefly converging with Columbus Circle as it curves around Union Station, Massachusetts enters Northwest D.C. in a rapidly changing neighborhood which has transitioned from earlier blight and decay to in the 21st century developing numerous high-rise apartment complexes. In the tradition of the acronym SoHo, realtors sometimes give this area the moniker NoMa (North of Massachusetts Avenue). It intersects with Interstate 395 (which runs underground at that point) at H Street NW, and passes over Mount Vernon Square in front of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Continuing northwest, Massachusetts enters an underpass below Thomas Circle at 14th and M Streets NW, before curving around Scott Circle at 16th and N Streets NW; this is considered the starting point of Embassy Row.
Before North Apopka Avenue continues to the boat ramp named for the street,North Apopka Avenue Public Boat Ramp (Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission) CR 470 leaves to the northeast at East Vine Street, and eventually turns onto East Gospel Island Trail, where it immediately crosses the Franklin Hair Bridge to reach the island the road was named after. Most of the surroundings are either residential or wetlands, with the occasional bed and breakfast. From South Gospel Oaks Terrace and East Allen Drive to East Oak Isle Drive, the road curves from northeast to north then curves around Fred's Lake, and turns east again. The route doesn't leave the island until the bridge east of North Shadow Wood Drive, and then curves slightly to the northeast.
As it runs past Lindenwood University BL-70/MO 94 curves around a former segment of First Capitol Drive, then re-encounters that road as BL-70 makes a sharp right turn to the east while MO 94 continues to the northeast along Kings Highway. First Capitol Drive runs at a straight line towards Riverside Drive and the Katy Trail State Park along the Missouri River, but BL-70 doesn't go that far. Instead, it makes a sharp right turn at South Fifth Street, which becomes North Fifth Street two blocks north of this intersection. South Fifth Street is four lanes wide with a center left-turn lanes for one block, but narrows down to two lanes between Jackson and Tompkins Streets, only to widen again south of McDonough Street.
It is at the western end of Botany Bay copse. Stanlake Park is a large country house dating from the 16th century, to which alterations were made in the 18th and subsequent centuries. It is grade II listed, as is the adjacent stable block, which was converted from a 16th century timber-framed barn in the 18th century. Its east front includes a clock dating from 1681. To the west of the house, the river passes under the B3018 road at Stanlake Bridge, and then curves around the edge of modern housing that forms part of Twyford. Two more drains join from the south before it passes under the A321 Hurst Road, and turns to the north, to run parallel to the River Loddon as it crosses the contour.
Turning north and northwest, the section between Richmond Dale and Chillicothe includes a large cut through a ridge and provides westbound motorists with a panoramic view of the Scioto River valley. Southeast of Chillicothe, westbound US 50 joins US 35 in a concurrency at a hybrid interchange; similar to a diamond interchange, the exit ramp from US 35 east carrying US 50 east becomes a two-way road, curves around and crosses over US 35 about east; the other ramps connect to this overpass. Next, US 50 west leaves the concurrency at a partial interchange at Eastern Avenue; there is only a westbound exit and an eastbound entrance. Then, the US 23 north freeway joins US 35 in a concurrency at a partial-Y interchange; there is an eastbound exit and a westbound left entrance.
In front, it is continuous with the dartos fascia of the penis and Scarpa's fascia upon the anterior wall of the abdomen; On either side it is firmly attached to the margins of the rami of the pubis and ischium, lateral to the crus penis and as far back as the tuberosity of the ischium. Posteriorly, it curves around the superficial transverse perineal muscle to join the lower margin of the inferior fascia of the urogenital diaphragm. In the middle line, it is connected with the superficial fascia and with the median septum of the bulbospongiosus muscle. This fascia not only covers the muscles in this region, but at its back part sends upward a vertical septum from its deep surface, which separates the posterior portion of the subjacent space into two.
The historical alignment in the western part of the valley was a straight line. The "bulge" to the south in the renewed line between Kfar Baruch and Kfar Yehosuha was necessary due to the expansion of the Ramat David Airbase onto the original line's route. From west of Afula the line again leaves the original alignment and instead of bisecting historical Afula in a straight line at ground level as the original line did, it curves around the center of the city to the north. This section includes a long bridge over Highway 60 as well as traversing through a set of tunnels nearly a kilometer in length in the area between Afula and Afula Ilit and under Highway 65 until it reaches Kibbutz Merhavia just east of Afula.

The road heads north of Wildwood Green Golf Course and then has interchange with NC 50\. Further east I-540 has an interchange with Six Forks Road and then Falls of Neuse Road. After Falls of Neuse Road I-540 starts to turn a more southeastern direction. As it approaches US 1 (Capital Boulevard) I-540 crosses a railroad track owned by CSX on an elevated bridge.
State Road 81 begins at a wye along State Road 20 in Bruce, which is in rural Walton County, The road curves more toward the east through Dismal Swamp and the turn back to the northeast where it runs along the west coast of Buzzards Roost Swamp before crossing a bridge over Seven Runs River.
