A George III cream jug of 1773 and a set of four George III saltcellars of 1782 by the partners are owned by the National Museum of Women in the Arts, while a collection of saltcellars is owned by the National Gallery of Victoria. Numerous other pieces are known to exist as well.

The same institution owns several pieces hallmarked "Dorothy Sarbitt", including a pair of George II salvers from 1753 and another George II salver from 1754. The Minneapolis Institute of Arts is possessed of a cream jug attributed to Mills and Sarbitt and dated 1749/50. A tray possibly made by Dorothy Sarbitt in conjunction with Daniel Shaw, dated 1754, is in the collection of Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens.

Cream jug modelled and made by Greatbach, c. 1765 North Staffordshire became a centre of ceramic production in the early 17th century, due to the local availability of clay, salt, lead and coal. The nature and scale of local pottery production changed dramatically during the course of the 18th century as part of the Industrial Revolution. Greatbatch served as an apprentice to Thomas Whieldon at Fenton Vivian before setting up as an independent manufacturer.

In British English, jugs are pouring vessels for holding drinkable liquids, whether beer, water or soft drinks; types of packaging for milk etc are not called jugs.

This box is known to contain a few keepsakes, including a bundle of letters (some, or all, of which are believed to be from a young Mustrum Ridcully) a chunk of lodestone from "the dancers" stone circle, a fossil ammonite and a phoenix feather in a glass bottle. However, the citizens of Lancre also believe it contains the secrets of the universe, a neverending fortune in gold, or a small universe. Granny has done little to discourage these rumours. Aside from those in the box, her only other notable possessions are a clock that she inherited from her mother and a silver tea service (which was later melted down to make horseshoes for a Unicorn during the events of Lords and Ladies), complete with a cream jug in the shape of a humorous cow (which she had planned to leave to Magrat Garlick, per her Will, in the event of her death).
