Given a polynomial equation or a system of polynomial equations it is often useful to compute or to bound the number of solutions without computing explicitly the solutions. In the case of a single equation, this problem is solved by the fundamental theorem of algebra, which asserts that the number of complex solutions is bounded by the degree of the polynomial, with equality, if the solutions are counted with their multiplicities. In the case of a system of polynomial equations in unknowns, the problem is solved by Bézout's theorem, which asserts that, if the number of complex solutions is finite, their number is bounded by the product of the degrees of the solutions. Moreover, if the number of solutions at infinity is also finite, then the product of the degrees equals the number of solutions counted with multiplicities and including the solutions at infinity.

The fundamental theorem of algebra states that every non-constant single- variable polynomial with complex coefficients has at least one complex root. This includes polynomials with real coefficients, since every real number is a complex number with its imaginary part equal to zero. Equivalently (by definition), the theorem states that the field of complex numbers is algebraically closed. The theorem is also stated as follows: every non-zero, single-variable, degree n polynomial with complex coefficients has, counted with multiplicity, exactly n complex roots.

With little competition throughout, Senna, with his consistent and relentless pace claimed the championship with 96 points to Mansell's 72.
If the polynomial defining the curve has a degree d, any line cuts the curve in at most d points. Bézout's theorem asserts that this number is exactly d, if the points are searched in the projective plane over an algebraically closed field (for example the complex numbers), and counted with their multiplicity. The method of computation that follows proves again this theorem, in this simple case. To compute the intersection of the curve defined by the polynomial p with the line of equation ax+by+c = 0, one solves the equation of the line for x (or for y if a = 0).

However, this selection is not accepted by both Bolesław the Pious and Przemysł II and the case was only solved by Martin's death shortly after in his route to Gniezno. The next two candidates proposed: Włościbor (by Przemysł II and Leszek II the Black) and Heinrich von Brehna (by the Papacy) refused their nominations. Finally, the selection of the Chapter in 1283 fell in Jakub Świnka, who, counted with the consent of both Przemysł II and Pope Martin IV, finally ended the vacancy. W. Karasiewicz: Jakób Świnka arcybiskup gnieźnieński 1283–1314, Poznań 1948, pp. 5-10.
The same year they took part in a show organized by MTV Brasil alongside NX Zero, Fresno, Hateen and Moptop; a live album of the performance would be released soon after. In 2013 they released the DVD Forfun ao Vivo no Circo Voador, recorded at a performance the year prior which counted with guest appearances by their friends from Dibob, Toni Garrido of Cidade Negra and Dead Fish vocalist Rodrigo Lima. Alongside the DVD they also released the extended play Solto, containing three studio tracks recorded as extras. Their final studio album, Nu, came out in 2014.
The English returned to Plymouth "amid great rejoicings and excitement" by 25 May and the haul of goods seized were counted with the Earl of Cumberland himself being present. The plunder did not consist of much treasure but over 5,000 hides, 57 chests and 64 bags of indigo, 10 chests of sugar, nearly 30 pounds of pearls, 10 tons of blockwood, nine gold buttons set with emeralds, and a single gold ingot. In addition to this were the brass cannon from the Spanish ships and other miscellaneous goods. The expedition thus was a highly successful venture and made Langton a very rich man.
If is a nonzero polynomial, there is a highest power such that divides , which is called the multiplicity of the root in . When is the zero polynomial, the corresponding polynomial equation is trivial, and this case is usually excluded when considering roots, as, with the above definitions, every number is a root of the zero polynomial, with an undefined multiplicity. With this exception made, the number of roots of , even counted with their respective multiplicities, cannot exceed the degree of . The relation between the coefficients of a polynomial and its roots is described by Vieta's formulas.
In 1938 the British built a Tegart fort in Saliha Its population was predominantly Shia Muslim and it had an elementary school for boys. In the 1931 census of Palestine the population of Salha was 742 Muslims, in a total of 142 houses.Mills, 1932, p. 110 By the 1945 statistics the population was counted with Maroun al-Ras and Yaroun, and totaling 1,070 Muslims with 11,735 dunams of land, according to an official land and population survey. Of this, 7,401 dunams were allocated to cereals, 422 dunams were irrigated or used for orchards,Government of Palestine, Department of Statistics.
On November 2009, in an election marked by protests, Luis won with 62% of the votes - 1882 votes, the highest quorum in club history - defeating Marcelo Teixeira, who since then had remained in the presidency of the club. His first title as Santos FC president was the 2010 Campeonato Paulista. Luis Álvaro was the 35th president of Santos FC. One of his greatest achievements was the repatriation of the idol Robinho, signed on loan from Manchester City, England. To be successful in the negotiation, Luis Álvaro counted with the help of partners, through quotas, helped pay the salaries of the player.
In mathematics, a univariate polynomial of degree with real or complex coefficients has complex roots, if counted with their multiplicities. They form a set of points in the complex plane. This article concerns the geometry of these points, that is the information about their localization in the complex plane that can be deduced from the degree and the coefficients of the polynomial. Some of these geometrical properties are related to a single polynomial, such as upper bounds on the absolute values of the roots, which define a disk containing all roots, or lower bounds on the distance between two roots.
Regardless, Villagrán continued to use Quico's character in Venezuela in 1981. In that time, producers Valentín Pimstein and Fabián Arnaud asked Gómez Bolaños to write a script for an adapted film of El Chapulin Colorado or El Chavo del Ocho. Gómez Bolaños denied this request due to his belief that El Chavo was uniquely developed in the vecindad and therefore would find it difficult to provide a new storyline that would be relevant with what has already been shown in the series. In its place, they coincided in producing El Chanfle, which counted with the same cast as El Chavo del Ocho.
A music video was made for the song, featuring a then-19-year-old Luize Altenhofen. Nadando com os Tubarões, Charlie Brown Jr.'s third album, was released on November 2000, and counted with guest appearances by rap group RZO (still fronted by Sabotage at the time) and up-and-coming singer Negra Li, who co-wrote the album's greatest hit, "Não É Sério". The album awarded the band its first nomination to a Latin Grammy Award for Best Portuguese Language Rock or Alternative Album in 2001. Shortly after its release guitarist Thiago Castanho parted ways with Charlie Brown Jr., citing his dissatisfaction with their extensive touring schedule.
In 1890, he returned to Geraldton with his young family, and was elected to the Geraldton Town Council in 1892. He was made a Justice of the Peace in 1898, and became Mayor of Geraldton from 1898 until 1900. At a by-election on 24 July 1900 following the resignation of Richard Robson, Hutchinson was elected to the Western Australian Legislative Assembly for the seat of Geraldton. He was in opposition to the party led by Premier Sir John Forrest, and in the confusing parliamentary situation created by the 1901 election, he was counted with the supporters of George Leake, who became Premier twice, and his successor Walter James.
Soon the First World War started and after the war the region of Bačka would become part of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, renamed into Yugoslavia in 1929. In 1930, the club changed its name into Jugoslovenski Atletski Klub. In the early 1930s, the stadium where the club still plays nowadays was built. In the Second World War the club competes in the Hungarian Second League, finishing in second place in 1942. AIK Bačka Topola in 1986 After the war the region returned to Yugoslavia, and the club was renamed Egység, and counted with Hungarian international Jenő Kalmár among its strongest reinforcements.
The Series had to go more than the scheduled 12 games when both Panama and Puerto Rico teams ended with a similar 4-2 record. Panama clinched the title after beating Puerto Rico in a tiebreaker game. The Panamanian team, who entered the series as underdog, was led by manager/outfielder Wayne Blackburn, pitcher Chet Brewer (2-0), and third baseman Joe Tuminelli, who hit two home runs with seven runs batted in as he received Series MVP honors. The champion team also counted with pitchers John Fitzgerald, Tony Jacobs, Jean-Pierre Roy and Pat Scantlebury; catchers Roy Easterwood and Stan Andrews; second baseman Spook Jacobs, and outfielder Ted Cieslak.
McDuffie also spent parts of two seasons in the Puerto Rico League, although he did not enjoy much success in the circuit. He played for the Senadores de San Juan in the 1941–1942 tournament, joining a team that featured Monte Irvin, Luis Olmo and Bill Wright, but it did not prevent the Leones de Ponce from winning the championship. Then an important rule change came in 1944–1945, when the league allowed three imports per team. Since the start, the Cangrejeros de Santurce counted with Roy Campanella and McDuffie, but that did not stop Ponce from winning a fourth straight pennant, frequently led by perennial batting champion Francisco Coimbre.
Croats were first noticeable in Australia during the gold rushes of the 1850s in the province of Victoria. At this time, Croats were coded as "Austrians" because most of Croatia was a part of the Habsburg Empire. By Australian federation in 1901, there were many Croats—mainly from Dalmatia—in Australia, counted with Czechs, Hungarians, Serbs, Slovaks and others as "Austro-Hungarians". The establishment of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes from Austria- Hungary after the First World War — renamed as Yugoslavia shortly afterwards —continued to make it difficult to separate out Croats from other ethnicities in Australia. Croats were not recorded separately until the 1996 Census.
Skylab VII is the seventh studio album by the Brazilian musician Rogério Skylab, the seventh in his series of ten eponymous, numbered albums. It was self-released in 2007, and counted with guest appearances by musicians Maurício Pereira (vocalist and saxophonist of the duo Os Mulheres Negras), Zé Felipe and Marlos Salustiano (bassist and keyboardist for now-defunct avant- garde band Zumbi do Mato, respectively), who co-wrote some of the tracks alongside Skylab.Rogério Skylab – Biografia Tratore – Skylab VII Skylab and Zé Felipe would come up with the collaborative output Rogério Skylab & Orquestra Zé Felipe two years later. The album can be downloaded for free on Skylab's official website.
Fálkar is the soundtrack to Falcons (Fálkar is the Icelandic word for Falcons), which was directed by Friðrik Þór Friðriksson in 2002. With 12 tracks, this album contains a variety of Icelandic artists, from Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson, who was in charge of the music composition of the soundtrack, to Mínus, Múm, and Daníel Ágúst Haraldsson (former member of Gus-Gus), among others. Megas appears in this album with the song "Edge and Over", his first English song which counted with the accompaniment of his long-time collaborator, Guðlaugur Kristinn Óttarsson in guitars. The film protagonist, Keith Carradine is featured here with two tracks of "Northern Light", one of them instrumental.
A Sétima Efervescência (Portuguese for "The Seventh Effervescence") is the debut solo album by the Brazilian musician and former TNT and Os Cascavelletes member Flávio Basso, also known as Júpiter Maçã or Jupiter Apple. It was released in 1997 by independent label Antídoto, and counted with guest appearances by Basso's former Os Cascavelletes bandmates Frank Jorge and Alexandre Barea, and by Graforreia Xilarmônica guitarist Marcelo Birck, who contributed with the musical arrangements for the track "Eu e Minha Ex". Many tracks which appeared on the album were re-recorded from Basso's 1995 demo tape with Os Pereiras Azuiz, Orgasmo Legal. A music video was made for "Miss Lexotan 6mg Garota".
In the 1922 census of Palestine Yajur had a population of 202; all Muslims,Barron, 1923, Table XI, Sub-district of Haifa, p. 33 while in the 1931 census it was counted with Nesher; together they had 1,449 inhabitants; 554 Muslim, 26 Christians and 858 Jews, in addition to 11 with no religion, in a total of 291 houses.Mills, 1932, p. 97 The Lebanese landowners sold land in Yajur to the Zionists, who in turn established the kibbutz of Yagur in 1922 on what had traditionally been village land. The village population in the 1945 statistics was 610; 560 Muslims and 50 Christians, with a total of 2,720 dunams of land.
Desterro e Carnaval (Portuguese for "Exile and Carnival") is the twelfth studio album by the Brazilian musician Rogério Skylab; the final installment of what he calls the "Trilogia dos Carnavais" (Trilogy of the Carnivals). It was self-released in 2015,Rogério Skylab – Biografia and unlike Skylab's previous albums, it didn't see a physical release, being only available through digital download; a trend which would continue for his subsequent outputs.Rogério Skylab – Desterro e Carnaval The album counted with guest appearances by Arrigo Barnabé, Michael Sullivan, Luís Capucho, Fausto Fawcett and Tavinho Paes. "Lívia" is a Portuguese-language version of "Delia's Gone", an American folk song popularized by Johnny Cash.
Ziegler joined the Chicks, along with Thelma Eisen, while Faye Dancer, Annabelle Lee, Lavonne Paire and Dorothy Wiltse were allocated to the Millerettes.1944 Minneapolis Millerettes In 1944 Ziegler played second base for the debuting Milwaukee Chicks, a well balanced squad managed by Max Carey that counted with talented players as Josephine Kabick, Merle Keagle and Connie Wisniewski. Ziegler hit a modest .191 average in 115 games, including 51 runs and 25 RBI, but she established as a flashy defender who made outstandings plays routinely. The Chicks led the league in runs scored (492), batting average (.207), stolen bases (739) and tied for first in home runs (12).
The next increase of the population started with the industrial boom after World War II, when a few blocks of flats were built. From the late 1950s a belt of new detached houses led to Limhamn physically growing together with Malmö. Locals dispute which of these new neighbourhoods really are parts of Limhamn proper, and which are to be rightfully counted with Malmö, which is why figures for Limhamn's present-day population vary approximately in the range 20,000-24,000. Industry has mostly closed down in the late 20th century, and most people now work elsewhere in the metropolitan area that covers most of Western Scania.
Historians stipulate that in addition to banners from territories there should have been banners presented by nobles, but Długosz mentioned only Sigismund Korybut whose banner he counted with Polish forces. Some Belarusian historians attempted to divide the 40 banners by nationality to Lithuanian, Belarusian, Ukrainian, and Russian banners. However, such analysis is fundamentally flawed as it is impossible to determine how many banners each territory provided, how many men were in each banner, or what was the ethnic composition in each land. For example, Smolensk had rebelled against Vytautas in 1404 and 1408 and therefore it is unlikely that the three Smolensk banners included just local soldiers.
Hyōgikai was founded as a continuation of the Reform Alliance, a group of 25 trade unions which merged out of the Eastern Local Council (a body that had separated itself from the Eastern Federation of the Sodomei trade union centre, but retained a direct affiliation to Sodomei. The Eastern Local Council had been dissolved by Sodomei, accused of being a communist plot), and on May 16, 1925 the Reform Alliance unions were expelled from Sodomei. The expelled Reform Alliance unions were joined by seven other unions in forming Hyōgikai. At the time of its foundation Hyōgikai counted with 32 trade unions and 10,778 members.
With the war's evolution, these assumed almost all of the mobile and offensive operations, with the more conventional forces remaining responsible mainly for the defensive assignments. By 1961, each service branch had created its own light infantry force oriented for asymmetric warfare. The Air Force created the Parachute Rifles (Caçadores Páraquedistas) in 1956, the Army first raised the Special Rifles (Caçadores Especiais) in 1960 which were later replaced by the Commandos (Comandos) in 1962 and the Navy deployed the Marines (Fuzileiros), a force reactivated in 1961. The Portuguese military also counted with a number of paramilitary forces, including the Special Groups (Grupos Especiais) and the Arrows (Flechas).
The band reached higher fame in 1989, when their song "Matinê no Rian", which counted with a guest appearance by Kid Abelha's Paula Toller, was used as the opening theme of the telenovela O Sexo dos Anjos. In the same year they also made a Portuguese-language parody of Bobby Pickett's famous song "Monster Mash", entitled "O Monstro Macho" ("The Macho Monster"). They also provided the opening theme of the children's show Milk Shake, which was broadcast by Rede Manchete and hosted by Angélica, lasting from 1988 to 1992. In 1990 they would cameo in and also contribute to the soundtracks of the films Lua de Cristal and O Escorpião Escarlate.
His leadership and constant planning, were fundamental to the growth of the organization in the capital and in certain farmer groups, most of them associated in the past with the Ligas Agrarias Cristianas movement. During the next few years, the OPM grew unexpectedly; in fact, so unexpectedly that it had more militants than his poor security system would allow it. The organization even military trained a small group of his members not heavily armed. It never really did anything, even though in the first few months of 1976 the organization counted with a group of leadership that was composed by a small number of Paraguayans students that studied in Corrientes, Argentina.
A curve with double point A curve with a cusp Historically, singularities were first noticed in the study of algebraic curves. The double point at (0, 0) of the curve :y^2 = x^2 + x^3 and the cusp there of :y^2 = x^3\ are qualitatively different, as is seen just by sketching. Isaac Newton carried out a detailed study of all cubic curves, the general family to which these examples belong. It was noticed in the formulation of Bézout's theorem that such singular points must be counted with multiplicity (2 for a double point, 3 for a cusp), in accounting for intersections of curves.
342 is the second studio album by French avant-garde metal band Pin-Up Went Down, released on 28 June 2010 through Ascendance Records. It is the first album of the band which counted with the participation of Alexis Damien's brother, Nicolas Damien. The title of the track "Vaginaal Nathrakh" is a pun on the name of British extreme metal band Anaal Nathrakh, while "Murphy in the Sky with Dæmons" may be a possible allusion to The Beatles' song "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds". Judging by the song's lyrics, the "Murphy" mentioned in the song's title is Edward A. Murphy, famous for popularizing the concept of "Murphy's law".
Aruanas had a presentation panel at the Comic Con Experience in São Paulo on December 7, 2018, with the presence of the protagonists Débora Falabella, Leandra Leal, Camila Pitanga and Taís Araújo alongside the director Carlos Manga Jr and the writers Marcos Nisti and Estela Renner. Several screenings of the series took place prior to its release. The first screening took place at the Electric Cinema, Notting Hill in London, on June 18, 2019, with the presence of actress Debora Falabella. The exhibition was followed by a panel that counted with the participation of representatives from Greenpeace, Amnesty International and the United Nations Environment Programme.
Some polynomials, such as , do not have any roots among the real numbers. If, however, the set of accepted solutions is expanded to the complex numbers, every non-constant polynomial has at least one root; this is the fundamental theorem of algebra. By successively dividing out factors , one sees that any polynomial with complex coefficients can be written as a constant (its leading coefficient) times a product of such polynomial factors of degree 1; as a consequence, the number of (complex) roots counted with their multiplicities is exactly equal to the degree of the polynomial. There may be several meanings of "solving an equation".
UCE was founded at a time in which the Dominican Republic only counted with a handful of other universities nationwide, which included the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), founded by Pope Paul III in 1538; the Catholic University Mother and Teacher (now Pontifical) founded in Santiago in 1962; and the National University Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), founded in 1966. The creation of UCE marked the beginning of an expansion period in Dominican higher education. During the 1970s, ten universities were inaugurated, UCE being the first of them. During the 1980s, a period during which UCE expanded across the country, ten other universities saw their beginnings.
In 1989 Luz Casal released her new company Hispavox, the album "V" in which Luz counted with the production of Paco Trinidad and Chucho Merchán, a habitual musician of Eurythmics. The album, which sold over 300,000 copies and was her definitive leap to stardom, includes two of the most important songs of her career: "Te Dejé Marchar" (I Let You Go) and "No Me Importa Nada" (Nothing Matters For Me). That year she took part in a festival held in Chile in favour of human rights, among artists and groups such as Sting and U2. In 1991 Luz, released A Contraluz (Backlight), which sold over 400,000 copies, obtaining four platinum albums.
Skate Vibration is a live video by Brazilian alternative rock band Charlie Brown Jr.. Released in double-DVD format in 2005 through EMI, it was recorded on November 6 at the inauguration party of vocalist Chorão's own skatepark, aptly named Chorão Skate Park, which closed down one year after his death, in 2014. It was one of the band's first live performances with its then-new line- up of André Pinguim, Heitor Gomes and Thiago Castanho, and also counted with a guest appearance by their long-time friend and collaborator, rapper Radjja de Santos. The DVD sold over 25,000 copies and won a Gold certification by Pro- Música Brasil.
He counted with the support of Spytek of Melsztyn, and was directed against the political influence of the Bishop of Kraków, Zbigniew Oleśnicki. After a meeting in Opatów on 13 July 1434, where the Bishop vigorously defended the rights of the late King's children, the candidacy of Siemowit V was abandoned. In view of the failure of his plans to obtain the crown, Siemowit V quickly accepted the new ruler Władysław III and on July 25, with his brother Casimir II, attended the coronation of the young monarch. During the ceremony erupted some conflicts with the Bishop Oleśnicki, because he took the place of honor beside the King.
The Seiberg–Witten invariant of a four-manifold M with b2+(M) ≥ 2 is a map from the spinc structures on M to Z. The value of the invariant on a spinc structure is easiest to define when the moduli space is zero-dimensional (for a generic metric). In this case the value is the number of elements of the moduli space counted with signs. The Seiberg–Witten invariant can also be defined when b2+(M) = 1, but then it depends on the choice of a chamber. A manifold M is said to be of simple type if the Seiberg- Witten invariant vanishes whenever the expected dimension of the moduli space is nonzero.
Boris sought the help of the Polish ruler, who hoped for a closer alliance with Hungary and cooperation with the Kievan Rus' princes (Boris was a son of a daughter of Vladimir II Monomakh). However, Bolesław overestimated his strength against Béla, who counted with the support of almost all his country. The Polish army faced the combined forces of Hungary, Bohemia, Austria and Germany in the Battle of the Sajó river (22 July 1132), where the coalition had a complete victory over the Polish prince, who was forced to retreat. The success in Hungary was used by the Bohemian ruler Soběslav I, an Imperial vassal, who during 1132–34 repeatedly led invasions to Silesia.
In 1980 he formed the band Aero Blues, considered to be one of the first Brazilian blues rock bands to sing in the Portuguese language; however, he decided to follow with a solo career later on, and released his debut album, Som na Guitarra, in 1984. It is notable for containing his most well-known song, "Aumenta que Isso Aí É Rock 'n' Roll". More albums would come afterwards, as well as performances at the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and at the Circo Voador in Rio. 2011 saw the release of his ninth (and ultimately last) studio album, Por um Monte de Cerveja, which counted with the special participation of the members of Detonautas Roque Clube.
Monier-Williams states that the term appears in Vedic literature such as in the Aitereya Brahmana (Rigveda) and the Shatapatha Brahmana (Yajurveda).Sir Monier Monier-Williams, Japa, A Sanskrit-English Dictionary: Etymologically and Philologically Arranged with Special Reference to Cognate Indo-European Languages, Oxford University Press (Reprinted: Motilal Banarsidass), , page 412 The term means muttering, whispering or murmuring passages from the scripture, or charms, or names of deity. Often it is the repetitive singing of a verse or mantra, sometimes counted with the help of a rosary which is called Japa-mala. A related word, Japana appears in Book 12 of the Mahabharata, where muttering prayers is described as a form of religious offering.
Gökçe, popularly known as Salt Bae, served Maduro and his wife a meat meal, offering also a personalized shirt and a box of cigars with Maduro's name engraved upon it. The incident received international criticism and The Wall Street Journal also reported that the incident left poor Venezuelans incensed. In December 2018, videos and pictures were leaked showing a glamorous Christmas party that counted with an expensive feast, including French wine, taking place in the seat of the pro-Maduro Supreme Tribunal of Justice. The images received considerable backlash from social networks, criticizing the costs of the party during the grave economic crisis in the country and the hypocrisy of Maduro's government.
The team played their home games at Marsh Field. The Lassies posted a 46-66 record in their first year, and placed sixth in the eight-team league. They improved to 69-43 in 1947, to win a close pennant race with the Grand Rapids Chicks. Muskegon was led by OF/P Doris Sams, who ranked in several offensive categories and also collected 11 victories, including a perfect game, good enough to win the Most Valuable Player Award. Notably, the team counted with three of the top four pitchers in earned run average, Sams (0.98), Amy Irene Applegren (1.06) and Nancy Warren (1.13), but lost to the Racine Belles in the best-of-five, first-round matchup 3-1.
The next day the team beat Nacional by a 10 points margin and, at the final and decisive game, Jamaal Smith put on a show and helped Botafogo come from a 17 point deficit against Ciclista Olímpico to advance to the Finals to face Corinthians. After losing the first game of the finals in Rio, the team counted with amazing performances of Jamaal Smith and Cauê Borges in game 2 and 3 respectively to win back to back games in São Paulo to conquer its first international trophy. The next day, a huge crowd of fans showed up to receive the players and celebrate the title at the club's Ginásio Oscar Zelaya.
She became well known as a writer in Massachusetts, but she usually did her writing during the winter, which, in turn, led to her becoming interested in the warmer weather of Arizona. In 1873, she married soldier John Wyer Summerhayes, a veteran of the American Civil War. Wyer Summerhayes was still in the military when the couple married, so Martha further expanded her travels by going with her husband wherever the military sent him when no war was being fought. The Summerhayes arrived at Fort Russell, near Cheyenne, Wyoming shortly after marrying. In 1874, they were sent by the military to an Arizona that at the time counted with only about 20,000 inhabitants.
On October 13 Harris County had an unofficial tally of 128,186 ballots received, the highest ever first day early voting count and over 5% of the county's registered voters. By the second day the count was 287,931, 11% of the county's registered voters. On the third day over 100,000 ballots were counted, and in those three days 387,000 ballots were counted, with 44,000 of them issued through the mail. On the fourth day a similar amount of ballots were past, which meant the number of ballots cast total were about 500,000. On October 13 Travis County received 35,873 ballots, while it received 38,119 the following day, and by 3 P.M. on Thursday over 26,000.
In mathematics, the degree of an affine or projective variety of dimension is the number of intersection points of the variety with hyperplanes in general position. In the affine case, the general-position hypothesis implies that there is no intersection point at infinity. For an algebraic set, the intersection points must be counted with their intersection multiplicity, because of the possibility of multiple components. For (irreducible) varieties, if one takes into account the multiplicities and, in the affine case, the points at infinity, the hypothesis of general position may be replaced by the much weaker condition that the intersection of the variety has the dimension zero (that is, consists of a finite number of points).
The haul included five first half goals and earned him the maximum three Brownlow Medal votes for the game. He added a total of eight goals over the next three weeks before going goalless when the Suns traveled to Shanghai to play in the first regular season AFL match in Asia. In round 10's Indigenous round, Lynch donned the number 50 on his guernsey, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1967 referendum which among other things, changed the constitution to allow Indigenous Australians to be counted with the general population in the census. After injury-affected tallies over the next month including two more goalless games, Lynch returned to his best with five goals against in round 15.
The Spaniards made trade routes from Mexico to the Philippines, the main ports of Mexico today to start their starting points were Acapulco and Puerto Vallarta with their final destination to Manila, the current capital of the Philippines. The Spanish ships on these routes were known as the Manila galleons. After the arrival of Mexican immigrants to the Philippines, they belonged to different ethnic groups such as indigenous and mestizos and Creoles who mainly mixed with the local population, which also increased the number of descendants with Spanish surnames. The construction of the military fort of Zamboanga counted with the help of these Mexican immigrants who had already settled in the islands.
PILF has also participated as a primary party or intervenor in the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. The organization also submits amicus curiae briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court on election-related issues. PILF has sent mailings to hundreds of counties claiming that their voting rolls are provably corrupt; Politifact has judged these claims to be "false", stating that "inactive" registrants should not be counted with "active" ones when calculating total rates of voter registration. The foundation originally flagged jurisdictions with more registered voters than resident adults, according to annual U.S. Census population estimates at the time.
Naranjo (Caracas, 1941) is one of Venezuela's icons of contemporary music, establishing his prestige as an arranger, conductor, composer and drummer. In 1992 Naranjo produced Imagen Latina. Soloists with an already established career in Venezuela participated in this project; renowned salseros as Canelita Medina, Carlos Espósito, Vladimir Lozano, Trina Medina, Carlos Daniel Palacios and Mauricio Silva; noted folklorists as Simón Díaz, Cecilia Todd and the group Serenata Guayanesa, and also counted with the collaboration of poet Jesús Rosas Marcano, musician Benjamín Brea, pop singer María Rivas, jazz pianist Otmaro Ruiz, and the polifacetic Aldemaro Romero. Most salsa bands are a tightly wound unit that developed their music through years of playing in clubs around their hometown.
The Welzheim Forest lies just under 38 kilometres east-northeast of Stuttgart and about 45 kilometres southeast of Heilbronn between the Murrhardt Forest and the Mainhardt Forest in the north, the Frickenhofer Höhe in the east-northeast, the Albuch in the southeast, the Schurwald in the southwest and the Berglen and Buocher Höhe in the west. At the same time, the Welzheim Forest is one of five forest regions in the Swabian-Franconian Forest Nature Park. As a natural region it is, however, not counted with the Swabian-Franconian Forest but, together with the Schurwald and the Berglen, forms its own natural region. It takes its name from the town of Welzheim in the centre of the region.
A (non- degenerate) conic is completely determined by five points in general position (no three collinear) in a plane and the system of conics which pass through a fixed set of four points (again in a plane and no three collinear) is called a pencil of conics.. The four common points are called the base points of the pencil. Through any point other than a base point, there passes a single conic of the pencil. This concept generalizes a pencil of circles. In a projective plane defined over an algebraically closed field any two conics meet in four points (counted with multiplicity) and so, determine the pencil of conics based on these four points.
Committee Pro Catalonia (Comitè Pro Catalunya in Catalan) was a Catalan political committee founded on July 8, 1918 to support the actions of the Catalan National Committee in Paris to achieve an official Catalan representation in the League of Nations. It was chaired by Vicenç Albert Ballester and Pere Oliver i Domenge with Francesc Macià (who would become 122nd president of Catalonia, 14 years later), Manuel Folguera i Duran, J. Grant i Sala as leading participants. It counted with the support of Unió Catalanista party, and maintained contacts with members of the Lliga Regionalista. Most of its members integrated into the Federació Democràtica Nacionalista, and later on into the Estat Català (Catalan State) party.
In mathematics, Newton's identities, also known as the Girard-Newton formulae, give relations between two types of symmetric polynomials, namely between power sums and elementary symmetric polynomials. Evaluated at the roots of a monic polynomial P in one variable, they allow expressing the sums of the k-th powers of all roots of P (counted with their multiplicity) in terms of the coefficients of P, without actually finding those roots. These identities were found by Isaac Newton around 1666, apparently in ignorance of earlier work (1629) by Albert Girard. They have applications in many areas of mathematics, including Galois theory, invariant theory, group theory, combinatorics, as well as further applications outside mathematics, including general relativity.
Between the first quarter of 1096 and the end of 1097, count Raymond, seeing that his influence in the Curia Regis was diminishing, reached an agreement with his cousin Henry of Burgundy, who had not yet been appointed governor of Portugal. The birth of King Alfonso's only son, Sancho Alfónsez, was also perceived as a threat by the two cousins. They agreed to share power, the royal treasury, and to support each other. Under this agreement, which counted with the blessings of their relative, the Abbot of Cluny, Raymond "promised his cousin under oath to hand him over the Kingdom of Toledo and one–third of the royal treasury upon the death of King Alfonso VI".
The Shoshone and Ute shared a common genetic, cultural and linguistic heritage as part of the Numic branch of the Uto- Aztecan language family. Most Timpanogos live on the Uintah Valley Reservation, established by executive order in 1861 and affirmed by congressional legislation in 1864, where they are counted with the Ute Indian Tribe of the Uintah and Ouray Reservation. In 2002, the Timpanogos won a federal case against the state in the Court of Appeals upholding their traditional rights to hunt, fish and gather on the reservation. The court concluded that their relationship with the federal government was well- established, although they are not listed by the Department of the Interior as a federally-recognized tribe.
During Round 10's Dreamtime at the 'G clash with Essendon, Edwards swapped his number 10 guernsey for the number 67. In doing so he became one of a handful of players across the league that round to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1967 referendum which, among other things, changed the constitution to allow Indigenous Australians to be counted with the general population in the census. Through the mid-season bye he had played six matches and held averages of 17.3 disposals, 0.8 goals and 2.8 tackles per game. He did not miss a match from that point until the end of the season, including playing in his 200th career match in round 19 against the Gold Coast Suns.
Besides Nesbitt, the Belles also counted with Joanne Winter, who posted an 11–11 record, to give the team a strong one-two pitching staff, while Margaret Danhauser, Maddy English, Edythe Perlick and Claire Schillace could be counted on for their bats and solid defense. The attack was led by slugging right fielder Eleanor Dapkus, who hit a league-lead 10 home runs, while the speedy Sophie Kurys stole 44 bases and scored 60 runs. Irene Hickson, who shared the catching duties with Dorothy Maguire, was known as an opportune hitter with runners in scoring position during the late innings. Most importantly, Hickson was a solid fielding catcher with a strong throwing arm, and had a reputation as a good handler of pitchers.
During Hanukkah 2011, Sotelúm released his first formal approach to electronic music with the exposure of his first studio EP; Synthetiklezmer a bold and experimental fusion between sephardic brass and klezmer with the drum machines and synthesizers that introduced him to the EDM scene. The EP counted with the special collaboration of Gustavo Bulgach, Argentine-American clarinetist and bandleader of Klezmer Juice and Yiddish Tango Club. In 2012, and after continuous collaborations with Big Javy from Inspector and Sonidero Travesura, Sotelúm released his second studio EP Huastech, a craft that mixed folk and electronic music heard in Synthetiklezmer, but this time with Mexican styles like mariachi and huasteca music. This material was produced and released in Guadalajara Mexico and many samples from Minarete Brass can be heard.
Ongaro was reelected Secretary General of the FGB, which, despite its recent ordeal, still counted with around 25,000 members and remained Argentina's largest print workers' union. Welcomed into the CGT by Secretary General Saúl Ubaldini (a colleague of Ongaro's at the ILO), the FGB became less prominent as one of the smallest of the CGT's 62 unions. Ongaro, who earned renown for his uncompromising stance against anti-labor policies two decades earlier, concurred with the CGT's grudging support of the anti-labor President Carlos Menem (a Justicialist candidate elected with the CGT's support in 1989). Adverse to conflict, Ongaro refused to condemn Menem's October 1989 pardon of those who led Argentina's last dictatorship during its infamous 1976-79 campaign of human rights abuses.
Retratos da Humanidade (Portuguese for "Portraits of Mankind") is the only release by Brazilian alternative rock band Revolucionnários. It came out in 2006 through label Champirado Records, founded by vocalist and bassist Champignon (formerly of Charlie Brown Jr.), and distributed by Universal Music Group. Produced by Tadeu Patolla (who had also collaborated with Charlie Brown Jr. previously) and mastered by Rodrigo Castanho (famous for his work with bands such as CPM 22 and NX Zero), the album spawned the hit singles "Revolucionnários" and "Como num Sonho Perfeito", described by Champignon as a tribute to singer Rita Lee and her band Os Mutantes. A music video, which counted with a guest appearance by actress Karina Bacchi, was made for the latter.

On September 15, 2010, the clock turned 100 years of being built. Commemoration which was on par with the celebrations of the Bicentennial of Mexican independence. A ceremony where it talk about the historical and evolutionary portrait of the Monumental Clock in voice of Luis Corrales Vivar, director of the Casa de la Cultura de Pachuca, are counted with the participation of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Pachuca, it had the Centennial flag located on Elementary School Julián Villagrán and is the same national flag with which, were honored in laying the foundation stone of the Monumental Clock. The September 24 of 2010 was a light show and a concert by Ranchera music singer Pepe Aguilar, compared with 10 000 spectators, also unveiled a plaque commemorating the centennial.
By 1819, José María Barreiro, who was in charge of the royalist troops in New Granada, counted with at least 4,500 trained soldiers at his command (without including the troops scattered throughout the region). Bolivar was able to round up merely 2,200 able men, which he distributed into four battalions, three regiments, one squadron, and an artillery company that lacked cannons. In the most part, Bolivar's soldiers were non-Spanish men, many of them recruited from the Venezuelan plains. Simon Bolivar's plan consisted of mobilizing his army from Venezuela to Casanare, in New Granada, to unite forces with Francisco de Paula Santander and his men, and infiltrate the territory through Tunja to combat the troops of Viceroy Juán de Sámano.
"The Truth: What Every Roman Catholic Should Know about the Orthodox Church" Dr.Clark Carlton The conversion of the Hungarian people was not completed until the reign of Gyula's grandson, King Stephen I of Hungary. Stephen was the son of Grand Prince Géza of Hungary and Sarolt, the daughter of Gyula II. His authority as leader of the Hungarian tribal federation was recognized with a crown from Pope Sylvester II. King Stephen converted the nomadic barbarian tribes of the Hungarians and induced them to sedentary culture. The conversion of Hungary is said to have been completed by the time of Stephen's death in 1038. Soon the Hungarian Kingdom counted with two archbishops and 8 bishops, a defined state structure with province governors that answered to the King.
In 1987 Petracco returned to the band, and alongside new guitarist Luís Felipe "Tchê" Gomes, they released their self-titled debut studio album, TNT. With many of its tracks written by Master and Basso prior to his departure, it was a critical and commercial success, being responsible for catapulting the band into nationwide fame. A second self-titled album came out the next year, which counted with a guest appearance by Lulu Santos; drummer Felipe Jotz left the band after its release, and was replaced by Paulo Arcari. In 1991 the band's third album, Noite Vem, Noite Vai, was released; it marked a shift from their previous rockabilly-/rock and roll-inflected sonority towards a more traditional pop rock one.
In 1984, Cadão Volpato formed the post-punk band Fellini alongside Jair Marcos, Ricardo Salvagni and Thomas Pappon.Interview with Jair Marcos, Thomas Pappon e Cadão Volpato Interview with Jair Marcos e Thomas Pappon The band would come to an end in 1990, and shortly after, Pappon left Brazil and moved to Europe.Interview with Cadão Volpato Interview with Thomas Pappon In 1992, Volpato decided to form a side project named Funziona Senza Vapore, named after Fellini's most famous song, present in their 1985 debut O Adeus de Fellini.Funziona Senza Vapore (1992) It counted with the presence of both original members Jair Marcos and Ricardo Salvagni, but Stela Campos, famous for her work with indie rock band Lara Hanouska, replaced Thomas Pappon.
The dimension of an ideal I in a polynomial ring R is the Krull dimension of the ring R/I and is equal to the dimension of the algebraic set of the zeros of I. It is also equal to number of hyperplanes in general position which are needed to have an intersection with the algebraic set, which is a finite number of points. The degree of the ideal and of its associated algebraic set is the number of points of this finite intersection, counted with multiplicity. In particular, the degree of a hypersurface is equal to the degree of its definition polynomial. Both degree and dimension depends only on the set of the leading monomials of the Gröbner basis of the ideal for any monomial ordering.
In 2005 the actress started her music career signing under the label Ocean Butterflies in which she would release her debut album entitled "Air", which sold over 200.000 copies in Mainland China. The most popular hit of the album was the song "The summer that wind took away" in which she counted with the collaboration of JJ Lin. Due to her rising popularity, the actress and performer released a second album that was also well received by the Chinese audience, a great popularty that would soon spread to Taiwan, where her music label released a compilation of her best known songs till that moment. This compilation would be followed, two months later, by the release of her third studio album in the mainland.
Two divisors that differ by a principal divisor are called linearly equivalent. On a compact Riemann surface, the degree of a principal divisor is zero; that is, the number of zeros of a meromorphic function is equal to the number of poles, counted with multiplicity. As a result, the degree is well- defined on linear equivalence classes of divisors. Given a divisor D on a compact Riemann surface X, it is important to study the complex vector space of meromorphic functions on X with poles at most given by D, called H0(X, O(D)) or the space of sections of the line bundle associated to D. The degree of D says a lot about the dimension of this vector space.
The CDS-PP was founded on 19 July 1974 by Diogo Freitas do Amaral, Paulo Lowndes Marques, Adelino Amaro da Costa, Basílio Horta, Vítor Sá Machado, Valentim Xavier Pintado, João Morais Leitão and João Porto. By that time, Portugal was living an unstable political moment: instability, violence and great social tensions were evident after the Carnation Revolution held on 25 April of the same year. The then CDS declared itself as a party rigorously at the centre of the political spectrum, but by then it already counted with a major slice of Portuguese right-winger in its affiliations. On 13 January 1975, the leaders of the CDS-PP delivered at the Supreme Court of Justice the necessary documentation to legalise the party.
Calvin Harris, Mark Ronson, Mika, OneRepublic and Scouting for Girls were among the many artists who achieved their first UK charting top 10 single in 2007. New rules were introduced this year to alter how single downloads are counted, with a physical copy no longer having to be currently available in the shops for a single to be eligible for the charts. Snow Patrol were the most high profile act to benefit from the change, with their song "Chasing Cars" returning to the top 10, months after first release the previous year. “Baby's Coming Back”/Transylvania” by McFly also became only the third single in chart history to fall straight from number-one out of the top ten the following week.
When the time came to vote, Venezuela's pardos wanted their adecos back and the exiled leadership of the party let it be known that it wanted URD to win. As the results started coming in showing that AD was still the political top dog in Venezuela, Pérez Jiménez shut down the polls, and the country, and after a few days, during which he probably was making sure that he counted with the loyalty of his generals, he published results that were so lopsidedly in his favor as to seem ludicrous. Pérez Jiménez thus inaugurated himself for another five years as president, and just as he had intended from the beginning. He went on spending on infrastructure and way beyond this to gigantic industrial, agricultural, and power-generating projects.
The two highest ranks during the scoring period would be counted, with only the best two if more than that number. For the first three series if there were equal top scores at the end of the competition the tiebreakers were head-to-head competition and, if necessary, a majority vote of the five WMM race directors. This happened in the 2007–08 women's competition. Beginning in 2009–10 season, following best head-to-head record, the following tie-breakers were implemented, in descending order: the person who achieved his or her points in the fewest races, the person who won the most qualifying races during the period, the person with the fastest average time in their scoring races, and a majority vote of the six-race directors.
The festival usually boasts participation from hundreds of thousands of visitors, making the outside of the grounds seem like a giant camping park. The events themselves consist of a three-day festival of music, with hundreds of Portuguese and international bands and artists across five different stages, ethnography, gastronomy, debates, a book & music fair, theatre (Avanteatro) and sporting events. Several foreign communist parties also participate. In 28 editions, the Festival counted with the presence of several famous artists, either Portuguese or foreign, like Chico Buarque, Baden Powell, Ivan Lins, Zeca Afonso, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Holly Near, Johnny Clegg, Charlie Haden, Judy Collins, Richie Havens, Tom Paxton, The Soviet Circus Company, the Kuban Cossacks Choir, Dexys Midnight Runners, The Band, Hevia, Adriano Correia de Oliveira, Carlos Paredes, Jorge Palma, Manoel de Oliveira and many others.
According to the terms of the Council of Constance calling for periodic ecumenical councils to discuss church policies, Pope Martin V convened a council at Pavia, which was hardly inaugurated on 23 April 1423, when plague broke out at Pavia and the council was hastily adjourned to Siena. At Siena, the procedure of the Council followed that established at Constance. Right at the start, certain formalities of the safe conducts issued by the city for the members of the Council were the cause of jurisdictional friction with papal prerogatives. Attendance to the Council was sparse, specially for high ranking prelates from transalpine regions; at the opening session of November 6, the Council only counted with two cardinals and twenty-five mitred prelates (bishops), as representatives of the higher clergy.
Following the release of Polisenso (2008) and Alegria Compartilhada (2011), which counted with guest appearances by rapper Black Alien and big band Funk Como Le Gusta, the group reached further proeminence due to their nominations to the MTV Video Music Brazil award in 2006, 2009, 2011 and 2012; in the 2005 edition, they performed a cover of Ultraje a Rigor's "Nós Vamos Invadir Sua Praia" alongside Leela, Ramirez and Dibob, with whom they would develop a strong friendship. In 2012 they collaborated on the song "Rio Porque Tô no Rio", described as an ode to Rio de Janeiro. In 2007 they collaborated on the eighth album by Santos-based band Charlie Brown Jr., Ritmo, Ritual e Responsa, co-writing and performing on the track "O Universo a Nosso Favor".
Contra Insetos Parasitas (Portuguese for "Against Parasitic Insects") is the only release by Brazilian alternative rock band TH6. It was initially made available for streaming on the band's official Myspace page on July 28, 2008, and came out in physical format later on October 14. Produced by vocalist/guitarist/sole lyricist Marcão (formerly of Charlie Brown Jr.) and Tadeu Patolla (who had also collaborated with Charlie Brown Jr. previously), it counted with numerous guest appearances by musicians such as Di Ferrero and Gee Rocha of NX Zero, Badauí of CPM 22, Tico Santa Cruz of Detonautas Roque Clube, Baía of Tihuana, Marcão's former Charlie Brown Jr. bandmates Champignon and Renato Pelado, and Pablo Silva, who had played alongside Champignon on his former project Revolucionnários. A music video was later made for the track "Mesmo Lugar".
The Club Deportivo Potosino is a sports club located in the city of San Luis Potosí, in the Mexican state of the same name. Founded in 1940, it is the oldest sports club in the city, nationally renowned for its high performance in various sports disciplines such as swimming and tennis. The club is commonly referenced as the birthplace of the Michelada, with claims stating that a member called Michel Ésper used to order his daily beer with salt and lemon juice, eventually giving origin to the name.Los Angeles Times The Club Deportivo Potosino also hosts the San Luis Potosi Challenger, an annual tennis tournament that has counted with the presence of many international top athletes such as Óscar Hernández Pérez, Leonardo Mayer, Dick Norman, Paul- Henri Mathieu, amongst others.
Furthermore, even though the Statute was promulgated, it cost De la Rosa's premiership and hence Parcent had to defend an institution which no longer counted with its creator. As the Progressive Party (the exalted liberals) took power in 1837 and drafter a constitution which was based on the 1812 Constitution, Parcent became a member of the Senate, the upper chamber which succeeded the Estamento of Próceres. He became acquainted with the Moderates, although he was never part of the archconservative sectors of the party. Parcent was named in 1836 high steward of the Infante Francisco de Paula, Ferdinand VII's younger brother, who was close with the Liberal ideals, and he later entered the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Saint Ferdinand, one of the enlightened institutions which promoted Liberal values.
An initial settlement, Quisquisacate, failed within days of its June 24, 1573, establishment, and on July 6, the expedition chose a location on the banks of the Suquía River, around 250 mi (400 km) south of Santiago de Estero. Given the privilege of naming the settlement, Cabrera named it Córdoba de la Nueva Andalucía, in honor of his wife's birthplace. Cabrera enjoyed relatively good relations with the area's native inhabitants, the Comechingones, and proved an able administrator of the new settlement, which within a year counted with the basic legal and administrative institutions of a stable village. He departed towards the east on his own initiative in 1574 and quickly reached the shores of the Paraná River, over 200 mi (320 km) away, establishing the Fort of San Luis (near what today is Santa Fe, Argentina).
British forces gained control of Palestine in 1917, during World War I, and later governed it as the British Mandate of Palestine. Meithalun's population in the 1922 census of Palestine, conducted by the British Mandate authorities, was 682,Barron, 1923, Table IX, Sub-district of Jenin, p. 29 rising to 938 (193 households) in the 1931 census. In the latter census, the hamlet of Kheibar was counted with Meithalun.Mills, 1932, p. 71 In both censuses, the entire population was Muslim. Meithalun's two main clans, the Na'irat and the Ruba'iya, participated in the countrywide 1936–1939 revolt against British rule and increased Zionist settlement in Palestine. Rebels from the Na'irat clan, who had ties to the Jarrar clan, fought under commander Fawzi Jarrar of Jaba', while the Ruba'iya fought under the Qassamite commander Abu Khalid of Silat ad-Dhahr and Abu Saysan of Qabatiya.
An alternate method of calculating creditable continuous coverage is available to the health plan under Title I. That is, 5 categories of health coverage can be considered separately, including dental and vision coverage. Anything not under those 5 categories must use the general calculation (e.g., the beneficiary may be counted with 18 months of general coverage, but only 6 months of dental coverage, because the beneficiary did not have a general health plan that covered dental until 6 months prior to the application date). Since limited-coverage plans are exempt from HIPAA requirements, the odd case exists in which the applicant to a general group health plan cannot obtain certificates of creditable continuous coverage for independent limited-scope plans, such as dental to apply towards exclusion periods of the new plan that does include those coverages.

In the British Mandate of Palestine period, in the 1922 census of Palestine Abu Shusheh had a population of 12; all Muslims,Barron, 1923, Table XI, Sub-district of Haifa, p. 33 increasing sharply in the 1931 census when it was counted with Esh Shuqeirat and Arab el Saayda, to 831; still all Muslim, in a total of 155 houses.Mills, 1932, p. 87 In 1926 a small group of Jews from the Hashomer Hatzair movement settled in a caravanserai located on Tell Abu Shusha, before they moved to a location a few hundred yards southMorris, 1987, pp.116, 117 and established Mishmar HaEmek. Isnard reformed Zero's classic line-up for a show celebrating the band's 15th anniversary in 1998; it was originally planned to be a one-time show, but the fans' response was so positive they announced a full reunion. Their first release after their hiatus (albeit with a slightly different line-up – Sérgio Naciffe joined the band as drummer, and João Paulo Mendonça served as an additional keyboardist) was the compilation Electro-Acústico, which came out in 2000 by Sony and featured acoustic re-recordings of some of the band's older songs, plus four previously unreleased tracks. It counted with guest appearances by Philippe Seabra of Plebe Rude and Bruno Gouveia of Biquini Cavadão. In 2003, to celebrate Zero's 20th anniversary, EMI released Obra Completa, a combination of Passos no Escuro and Carne Humana in one album.
The film was censored by the dictatorship though, and never received a wide release. (In 2013 Mautner made the film available in its entirety through his official YouTube channel.O Demiurgo) Around the same time he met Nélson Jacobina, one of his most prolific songwriting partners, with whom he wrote, among many other songs, the 1974 hit "Maracatu Atômico". On December 10, 1973, Mautner was invited to partake in the Banquete dos Mendigos "show-manifesto", idealized and directed by Jards Macalé. The show, that happened at the Museum of Modern Art of Rio de Janeiro and was backed by the UN, celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and also counted with the presence of Chico Buarque, Dominguinhos, Edu Lobo, Gal Costa, Gonzaguinha, Johnny Alf, Luiz Melodia, Milton Nascimento, MPB4, Nélson Jacobina, Paulinho da Viola and Raul Seixas, among others.
But Green, known for his right-wing politics, had decided he was bigger than the show format he had devised and began politicising an apolitical family-friendly format. It has been suggested that Green believed that Harold Wilson and his Labour government were communists and that Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, should replace Wilson as leader of the country and, to that end, he used Opportunity Knocks as an end-of-year soapbox, telling the country at the end of 1974 to 'wake up!' Two years later, in December 1976, Green recited a monologue about the state of the United Kingdom, followed by a choir singing "Stand Up and Be Counted", with the words coming up in subtitles: "Stand up and be counted, where the managers manage and the workers don't go on strike". It was released as a single in 1977.
Contra Insetos Parasitas ultimately came out on July 28, 2008, initially through their Myspace page, and physically on October 14. Produced by Marcão alongside frequent Charlie Brown Jr. collaborator Tadeu Patolla, the album was positively received and counted with guest appearances by members of bands such as Detonautas Roque Clube, Tihuana, CPM 22 and NX Zero. The band later came to elaborate that originally over 40 songs were recorded for the album, but only 25 were chosen; two of those outtakes were later posted on their Myspace as well. Following the birth of his second daughter, Marcão announced in 2010 that the band would be on hiatus; however, in 2011 he was invited to rejoin Charlie Brown Jr., and following its end due to the death of Chorão he became part of the projects A Banca and Bula, leaving TH6's fate unknown.
Franklin marking the ball against Richmond in 2017 Franklin played his 250th game in round 3, kicking three behinds in a one-point loss to Collingwood at the SCG. Two weeks later, Franklin kicked his 800th career goal with the last of his three goals in the Swans' 42-point loss to Greater Western Sydney; this was Sydney's fifth of six-straight losses to start the season, which was their worst start to a season since 1993. The Swans' losing streak came to an end when Franklin kicked eight goals in a 54-point win against the Brisbane Lions in round 7. In round 10, for Indigenous Round, Franklin was among a number of players who wore the number 67 on their guernseys to commemorate the 1967 referendum which allowed Indigenous Australians to be counted with the general population in the census.
The Singles is Feeder's second UK compilation album, following the limited release b-sides album Picture of Perfect Youth. The album has 18 of their UK top 40 hit single tracks (if "Shatter" and "Tender" are separately counted), with the exception of "Day In Day Out" and "Find The Colour", and includes the limited edition Arena Tour single "Comfort In Sound" and three new tracks, "Lost And Found", "Burn The Bridges" and "Save Us". "Lost and Found" and "Save Us" were released as singles to promote the compilation shortly before and after its release, charting at #12 and #34 in the UK respectively, while "Shatter" was released to promote the compilation, shortly after the band announced its release plans in October 2005. "Burn The Bridges" is the only song on the compilation which was not released as a single.
Mansell's fear of the Williams's brakes came to fruition when he spun into the barriers on lap 65 simply through having no brakes left. He had been in fourth place at the time just in front of Patrese, but had not been able to truly challenge Piquet who was able to use Honda power on the 900-metre-long Brabham Straight to keep his former teammates at bay. Prost would go on to win in Adelaide, leading home Senna and outgoing champion Nelson Piquet giving Honda turbos a fitting 1–2–3 finish in the final race of the first turbo era in Formula One. Prost's win over Senna in Australia saw him score eleven more points in total than the Brazilian, but only the eleven highest scores counted, with Senna's eight wins and three seconds giving him a total of 90 points to Prost's 87.
Ritmo, Ritual e Responsa ao Vivo (Portuguese for "Rhythm, Ritual and Responsibility Live") is a live video by Brazilian alternative rock band Charlie Brown Jr., released in 2008 through EMI. Recorded at a gig at entertainment space Expresso Brasil on June 27, 2007 in São Paulo, promoting the release of their then-upcoming album Ritmo, Ritual e Responsa, it was the band's final release through EMI and counted with guest appearances by rapper MV Bill and pop punk band Forfun. By the time the video album was released, drummer André Pinguim was no longer a member of the band; he had left Charlie Brown Jr. in April 2008 as his contract expired and both parties decided not to renew it. As a consequence of his contractual obligations, he did not receive credit in the liner notes; instead, his subsequent replacement Bruno Graveto was credited, despite not taking part in the recording.
Ritmo, Ritual e Responsa (Portuguese for "Rhthym, Ritual and Responsibility") is the eighth studio album by Brazilian alternative rock band Charlie Brown Jr.. Their final studio release with drummer André Pinguim, who left the band one year later, it came out on November 15, 2007 through EMI. Billed as the first part of the soundtrack of the film ', written and co-produced by vocalist Chorão, it counted with guest appearances by bands and artists such as MV Bill, João Gordo, Paranormal Attack, Forfun, Sacramento MCs and Markon Lobotomia. The album's first single, "Não Viva em Vão", was released in advance on April 9, 2007, coinciding with Chorão's 37th birthday. It was followed by the hits "Pontes Indestrutíveis", "Be Myself" and "Uma Criança com Seu Olhar"; the first two were included in the soundtracks of Rede Globo's telenovelas Amor à Vida (2013–2014) and Duas Caras (2007–2008), respectively.
In mathematics, the Weil reciprocity law is a result of André Weil holding in the function field K(C) of an algebraic curve C over an algebraically closed field K. Given functions f and g in K(C), i.e. rational functions on C, then :f((g)) = g((f)) where the notation has this meaning: (h) is the divisor of the function h, or in other words the formal sum of its zeroes and poles counted with multiplicity; and a function applied to a formal sum means the product (with multiplicities, poles counting as a negative multiplicity) of the values of the function at the points of the divisor. With this definition there must be the side-condition, that the divisors of f and g have disjoint support (which can be removed). In the case of the projective line, this can be proved by manipulations with the resultant of polynomials.
Before the verbal attacks of the Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro and his chancellor Delcy Rodríguez against Kuczynski, the Peruvian government called in consultation with his ambassador in Caracas, Mario López Chávarry. In the message to the Nation of July 28, 2017, Kuczynski mentioned the situation in Venezuela, referring to the "decomposition of democratic institutions" and the "humanitarian crisis" that the country is experiencing, to conclude by saying that its objective was "to contribute to strengthen democracy throughout the region". On July 30, 2017, the Peruvian government announced that it would not recognize the results of the "illegitimate election of the National Constituent Assembly" in Venezuela, and then summoned a meeting of foreign ministers from Latin American countries to evaluate the situation in that country. It was held on August 8, 2017, at the Torre Tagle Palace in Lima, and counted with the participation of 17 countries.
National Geographic Magazine, January 2011 On 28 October 2016 in Hobart, Australia, the Convention for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources agreed to establish the first Antarctic and largest marine protected area in the world encompassing 1.55 million km2 (600,000 sq mi) in the Ross Sea. Other large MPAs are in the Indian, Pacific, and Atlantic Oceans, in certain exclusive economic zones of Australia and overseas territories of France, the United Kingdom and the United States, with major ( or larger) new or expanded MPAs by these nations since 2012--such as Natural Park of the Coral Sea, Pacific Remote Islands Marine National Monument, Coral Sea Commonwealth Marine Reserve and South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands Marine Protected Area. When counted with MPAs of all sizes from many other countries, as of August 2016 there are more than 13,650 MPAs, encompassing 2.07% of the world's oceans, with half of that area - encompassing 1.03% of the world's oceans - receiving complete "no-take" designation.
In 1986, former Akira S. e as Garotas que Erraram members Anna Ruth dos Santos and Marinella Setti joined Cabine C, and with this line-up they would release in the same year their first (and only) studio album, Fósforos de Oxford, through RPM Discos, so called because it was founded by RPM members Paulo Ricardo and Luiz Schiavon. The album, which counted with guest appearances by Fernando Deluqui and Akira Tsukimoto (the titular "Akira S." of Akira S. e as Garotas que Erraram), was well-received, but suffered from bad promotion, resulting that most people didn't even know it existed, and so it was a commercial failure. Because of that, a lengthy judicial battle between Cabine C and RPM Discos ensued then, resulting in the end of both Cabine C and RPM Discos in 1987. Prior to their disbanding, Cabine C was working on a second studio album, which would be called Cotonetes Desconexos; however, the project did not come to fruition.
The founder of the family, violinist Leonardo González Abreu (1706), was born in the Canary Islands, Spain, and was married to a local harpist named Bernarda Rodríguez Rojas, along which he raised an entire family dedicated to the music activity for several generations. On February 8, 1764, Esteban Salas y Castro, the new Chapel Master, arrived at the Santiago de Cuba Cathedral. To fulfill his musical duties, Salas counted with a small vocal-instrumental group that included two violins. After the arrival in Santiago de Cuba, in 1793, of numerous colonists who fled from the slave revolt in Saint Domingue, Karl Rischer and Madame Clarais, having brought with them a clavichord, founded an orchestra with flute, oboe, clarinet, trumpet, three horns, three violins, viola, two violoncellos and percussion. Also during the second half of the 18th century, violinist Ramón Menéndez earned great reputation and the respect of the new generations of musicians; for that reason he was called “The Master” (El Maestro).
After all the territorial acquisitions, only the entire southern of the Silesian border was governed by the Przemyslid Dukes of Racibórz. The first contract of mutual inheritance with the then reign Duke Jan V was made around 1478, probably on occasion of the marriage between Jan V and Magdalena of Opole, Jan II's sister. However, was only after the unexpected deaths of Jan V's older sons (and Jan II's nephews) Nicholas VI and Jan VI in 1506 and the taking of the youngest and only surviving brother, Valentin, of the full government over Racibórz, when was revived the old treaty with the Duke of Opole. The formal contract of mutual inheritance was performed in 1511 between the childless Duke Valentin and Jan II. The contract, who counted with the approval of King Władysław II Jagiellon, came into force after the death of Valentin in 1521: Jan II inherited the Duchy of Racibórz, who was combined with the Duchy of Opole.
During a trip to Rio de Janeiro in late 2001, Virginie, Roland and Laouenan met, and after being approached by their former producer/manager, Luiz Carlos Maluly, talks about a possible reunion began, which eventually came to happen the following year with the recording of their first studio album in 17 years: Déjà-Vu, released by independent label Trama. Alec Haiat decided not to partake in the reunion due to "personal reasons" and his involvement with other projects at the time, and so was replaced by Patife Band and Okotô member André Fonseca. Xavier Leblanc, who was also very busy with his bistro, only served as a session member on two tracks, being subsequently replaced by Pedro Albuquerque. Heavily inspired by folkloric Brazilian songs, samba, bossa nova and MPB both in sonority and lyrical themes, Déjà-Vu counted with the participation of a vast array of guest musicians, such as Preta Gil, Jorge Mautner, Nélson Jacobina, Lucas Santtana, Waly Salomão and Otto.
On January 20, 1933 started the battle of Nanawa, during the first days of the frontal offensive on the Paraguayan stronghold the Bolivian army suffered more than 2.000 deaths, against the 248 Paraguayan deaths The ways of access to Nanawa were filled with bodies but General Hans Kundt, who was in charge of the Bolivian forces ordered to continue the assault. Surrounded by the enemy, without possibility to receive help by land, the Colonel Luis Irrazábal ordered the construction of a landing runway, which made possible the audacious maneuvers of the Paraguayan pilots, which risked to land and take off in the middle of the fire, to transport ammunitions and weaponry to the besieged soldiers, who counted with only 5 cartridges for each one. The order of Irrazábal was clear: “Once we ran out of ammunitions we will engage in one on one combat, but we will not retreat from Fortín Nanawa”. He was awarded “Cruz del Chaco” for his successful conduct of the battle.

La Casa del Risco besides its artistic value as a vice-royal building has an important historical value, since it witnessed a lot of different passages throughout Mexico City history, and in some cases, participant. Its location is in center of San Ángel, its dimensions as a residence and strategic position, were some of the aspects that involved la Casa del Risco in military events like the American invasion to Mexico (1846–1848). According to the famous writer Manuel Payno, an ancient resident of this house. Estudio de Isidro Fabela dentro de Casa Risco In San Angel was hosted general Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna, while the troops of general Gabriel Valencia were fighting bravely against the American enemies which outnumbered them, while waiting for backup, even though the closeness and the fact that Santa Anna counted with the necessary resources, the General did not help, leaving them to their own luck, losing the battle.
However, the "Fat Mexican" that Aravena wore had been sewed by his mother rather than supplied by Houston. Shortly after the massacre, James "Ripper" Fullager, the mentor to the "no surrender crew", died of cancer and on his deathbed complained that the Canadian outlaw biking scene had gone downhill since his youth in the 1960s, as now most "bikers" didn't know how to ride motorcycles and the outlaw biker code no longer counted with biker "brothers" killing each other. Meeting with Atkinson on his deathbed, Fullager commented it was clear that Kellestine had committed the massacre as the bodies were found close to Kellestine's farm in south-western Ontario, all of the victims except Muscedere came from the greater Toronto area, and Kellestine was still alive. Fullager noted that if the Hells Angels had massacred the Bandidos in south- western Ontario close to Kellestine's farm, they would have killed Kellestine as well.
As a child she was inspired by her father, who worked in the cryptography service of the Chilean Navy and motivated by the continuous tremors that characterize the Andean country, in 2015 the then computer engineering student Barbarita Lara founded the Emergency Information System (SiE) after receiving the invention patent applied for in 2017 by the INAPI (National Institute of Industrial Property). She counted with the financial support of CORFO (Production Development Corporation in English) via the funding line SSAF-I for Engineering 2030, of the 3I: Instituto Internacional para la Innovación (International Institute for Innovation in English) and of the Royal Academy of Engineering to present her mobile application which sends alerts to the citizens in emergency situations and relies neither on Internet nor mobile networks. In 2019 she received funds from the Impulsa Iniciar foundation in order to fly to Portugal to the WSA ceremony with the finance manager of SIE, María Soledad Quintana, in an attempt to increase the female participation in the event.

Olhar (Portuguese for "Look") is the debut album by Brazilian band Metrô (not counting their self-titled album released as A Gota Suspensa in 1983), released in 1985 by Epic Records.Metrô – Biografia A critically and commercially successful album, Olhar spawned numerous hit singles which were very popular at the time of their release and are still remembered to this day, such as "Tudo Pode Mudar", "Cenas Obscenas" (which counted with a guest appearance by Léo Jaime on guitar and backing vocals), "Johnny Love" (which was included in the soundtrack of Lael Rodrigues' 1985 film Rock Estrela, in which the whole line-up of Metrô cameod as themselves) and "Ti Ti Ti", used as the opening theme of the eponymous telenovela which ran from 1985 to 1986. A shorter version of their 1984 hit "Beat Acelerado" (subtitled "2nd Version") is also included. The choirs in "Melodix" were provided by the new wave band Degradée, in which Metrô's guitarist Alec Haiat's brother Freddy played in.
The Urus worship this deity with the dance of the devils being the Tiw himself the main character, later this name was Hispanicized as Tío (), and as product of the syncretism, the Tiw represented the figure of the devil regretting and becoming devotee of the Virgin of Socavón.A.C.F.O. 2001, p.3. Metrô's vocalist, Virginie Boutaud, in 1985 In 1985 Metrô released their first studio album, Olhar, which was a commercial success and contained the band's most famous songs, such as "Tudo Pode Mudar", "Cenas Obscenas" (written by and featuring former João Penca e Seus Miquinhos Amestrados member Léo Jaime on guitar and backing vocals), "Johnny Love" (included in the soundtrack of Lael Rodrigues' 1985 film Rock Estrela, in which Metrô cameod alongside Jaime) and "Ti Ti Ti" (used as the opening theme of the eponymous telenovela which ran from 1985 to 1986). The album also counted with guest appearances by Guilherme Isnard (of Zero fame) and new wave band Degradée, in which Alec Haiat's brother Freddy played in. The band also cameod as themselves in Francisco de Paula's film Areias Escaldantes the same year. The band soon grew to be one of the most famous and successful acts of Brazil, touring extensively (sometimes they performed seven shows in a week) and constantly appearing in numerous variety shows of the time.
An ideal does not have any zero (the system of equations is inconsistent) if and only if 1 belongs to the ideal (this is Hilbert's Nullstellensatz), or, equivalently, if its Gröbner basis (for any monomial ordering) contains 1, or, also, if the corresponding reduced Gröbner basis is [1]. Given the Gröbner basis G of an ideal I, it has only a finite number of zeros, if and only if, for each variable x, G contains a polynomial with a leading monomial that is a power of x (without any other variable appearing in the leading term). If it is the case the number of zeros, counted with multiplicity, is equal to the number of monomials that are not multiple of any leading monomial of G. This number is called the degree of the ideal. When the number of zeros is finite, the Gröbner basis for a lexicographical monomial ordering provides, theoretically, a solution: the first coordinates of a solution is a root of the greatest common divisor of polynomials of the basis that depends only of the first variable.
Despite not having initially public support, Suárez managed to unite all democratic forces to develop a process of reform that allowed turning the Spanish State into a Western democracy. With that in mind it was enacted the Political Reform Act of 1977, the last of the Fundamental Laws of the Realm which had gone ahead through concessions made by the Government of Suárez and supported by the President of the Cortes Españolas, Torcuato Fernández- Miranda, which had been approved in the Spanish political reform referendum, 1976, the project received the approval of 94.1% of voters. The Government, in agreement with the provisions of Royal Decree-Law 20/1977 of March 18 called for elections by universal suffrage for a new bicameral Parliament, to be held on June 15, 1977. In turn, they ensured that these elections were fully democratic and counted with the presence of the left through measures such as the legalization of the Communist Party of Spain, the dissolution of the Movimiento Nacional or extension of the amnesty.
Descartes' rule of signs asserts that the difference between the number of sign variations in the sequence of the coefficients of a polynomial and the number of its positive real roots is a nonnegative even integer. It results that if this number of sign variations is zero, then the polynomial does not have any positive real roots, and, if this number is one, then the polynomial has a unique positive real root, which is a single root. Unfortunately the converse is not true, that is, a polynomial which has either no positive real root or as a single positive simple root may have a number of sign variations greater than 1. This has been generalized by Budan's theorem (1807), into a similar result for the real roots in a half-open interval : If is a polynomial, and is the difference between of the numbers of sign variations of the sequences of the coefficients of and , then minus the number of real roots in the interval, counted with their multiplicities, is a nonnegative even integer.
"The Black Page #1" is a piece by American composer Frank Zappa known for being extraordinarily difficult to play. Originally written for the drum kit and melodic percussion (as "The Black Page Drum Solo"), the piece was later rearranged in several versions, including the disco "easy teenage New York version" (commonly referred to as "The Black Page #2") and a so-called "new- age version", among others. Drummer Terry Bozzio said of the piece: On the double live album Zappa in New York (recorded 12/1976, released 3/1978), Zappa noted the "statistical density" of the piece. It is written in common time with extensive use of tuplets, including tuplets inside tuplets. At several points there is a crotchet triplet (sixth notes) in which each beat is counted with its own tuplet of 5, 5 and 6; at another is a minim triplet (third notes) in which the second beat is a quintuplet (actually a tuplet of 7), and the third beat is divided into tuplets of 4 and 5.
The inauguration ceremony was held on July 28, 2016, at the Legislative Palace. It counted with the presence of King Juan Carlos I of Spain, the Latin American presidents: Mauricio Macri, Horacio Cartes, Michelle Bachelet, Enrique Peña Nieto, Juan Manuel Santos and Rafael Correa; Vice presidents Alvaro Garcia Linera, Raúl Fernando Sendic, Óscar Ortiz Ascencio and Jafeth Cabrera Franco; the Brazilian Foreign Minister, José Serra. Among the international delegations was the US Trade Representative, Michael Froman, along with the Assistant Secretary of State for Latin America, Mari Carmen Aponte, and the Assistant Secretary of State for Security Affairs, William Brownfield; also the former Japanese economy minister, Toshihiro Nikai. In his first speech given to the nation from the headquarters of the National Congress, Kuczynski presented six topics, which, in his view, were of an urgent nature: water and drainage for all Peruvians, quality Public Education, service of public health sensitive to the patient, formalize the country, build infrastructure and development, and complete intolerance for corruption, discrimination, and crime.
Ana and Rosália abandoned the musical career, while Sandra, in 1998, went on to live in Berlin for a while, where she formed the short-lived German-Brazilian group Akt, before returning to Brazil in 2005. "Lourdes" underwent a sex reassignment surgery and changed his name to Leonardo, and announced himself to be an LGBT activist.Gabi Quase Proibida (06/11/13) - Transexual Léo Moreira Sá In 2006, Sandra reformed the band and hired new members Geórgia Branco and Pitchu Ferraz. A year following the establishment of the city of La Plata as the capital of the Province of Buenos Aires, four local intellectuals, Manuel Lainez, Arturo Ugalde, Martín Biedma and Julio Botet formed a partnership with the purpose of giving the new town (the first planned city in Argentina and South America) a daily newspaper. The hamlet depended on Buenos Aires media and counted with only one local periodical: La Propaganda (a listing of classified ads). Their preparation led to the 2 March 1884, launch of El Día, whose first issue boasted 4 pages and cost 5 cents; 900 copies were circulated that day. Published in a small building near the former freight railway depot, the owners of the struggling daily persuaded a distinguished retired journalist, José María Mendía, to serve as its first director. Soon earning renown for its timely coverage and for its outspoken editorials section on page 4, El Día was directed for most of the era between 1894 and 1952 by Hugo Stunz, who fended off periodic competition from the numerous upstart dailies which enjoyed a passing history in La Plata during the 20th century.
The work remained with the descendants of Pedro de Sousa Holstein, 1st Duke of Palmela, who bought it in 1845 from Sequeira's daughter Mariana Benedita, along with the four other paintings that comprise the Palmela Series, until 2016. A public fundraising campaign called "Vamos pôr o Sequeira no Lugar Certo" (Let's put the Sequeira in the right place), launched in October 2015, counted with the small contributions of thousands of private citizens, institutions, companies, schools, local governments, and even President Rebelo de Sousa; the largest contribution, of 200 thousand euros, was made by the Aga Khan Foundation in the person of Prince Amyn Aga Khan. The campaign raised more than 745 thousand euros, surpassing the 600 thousand the owners asked for — the leftover revenue was set aside to buy another painting, in 2018: a 15th- century Annunciation by Álvaro Pires de Évora, sold in a Sotheby's auction in New York. The painting then underwent restoration by the Museum's Department for Conservation and Restoration, for two months: even though it was in very good state of preservation, restorers removed applications of old oxidised varnish that gave the painting a yellowish hue and concealed some detail, as well as minor overpainting.
Like the main UP party, the UJP was severely persecuted by the agents of drug lords, paramilitaries and rogue elements inside the Colombian military during the 1980s. Many left-wing groups in Colombia have denounced the extermination of the UP and the UJP as part of a politically motivated strategy emanating from powerful sectors of Colombian society, including drug lords and some members of the traditional socioeconomic elites, which would have counted with the passive or active collaboration of several officers within the Colombian military and allegedly the indifference or tacit approval from contemporary administrations, in particular that of Virgilio Barco Vargas. No proven direct links between the murders of UP members and high- ranking Colombian officials have been uncovered, though there is some documented evidence of the existence of organized meetings concerning the subject of the UP between drug lords, paramilitaries and lower-to-medium ranking military individuals at the time. Several drug mafia or paramilitary hitmen and lower-ranking military officials which directly cooperated with illegal death squads at the time were prosecuted for some of the killings, though the vast majority of the cases have remained unresolved.
That year, the brand San Miguel Beer counted on him to star in its new advertising campaign "Ciudadanos en un lugar llamado mundo". In 2015, he released his second album, La idea salvaje, and it was nº 1 in Fnac and ranked in 12th position in the list of the Spanish top sellers. The album was produced in Glasgow, Scotland, and counted with the collaboration of Santi Balmes and it is a conceptual album which turns around the idea of a space travel, as a metaphor for the estrangement between two people. For weeks, his songs were nº 1 in "shared songs" of Spotify and Sadness became one of the six indie artists with more influence on the Spanish summer festivals and closing almost every concert of his tour, including two dates in Madrid with sold out tickets: Teatro Barceló and Sala But. This same year, he was nominated in the ARC awards as “best tour of festivals” and in the VEVO Awards in the category of Spanish music video for “Bikini”. In 2016, he extended his tour to more than 60 concerts and he was also part of more than 20 festivals while he was writing his first book Anatomías Íntimas, launched in November.
