Charles disregarded it, and continued governing as his father had. He did not have his decrees cosigned, but continued as an absolute monarch, as the Guelphs had been for more than 1,000 years. The ownership of the printing presses ultimately won the battle as the popular opinion was turned against their monarch.

Recently, there have been various maps showing Route 4 being cosigned with Route 3A, extending to the nearby town of Tyngsborough (terminating at Route 113), but Route 4 has ended at Route 3A in North Chelmsford for years. There may be a possibility of this being a new modification to both routes, but there also may be a possibility of the various maps that show the concurrency having inaccurate information as well. Therefore, the true end of Route 4 (as of late) is somewhat controversial.
SR 118 begins at an intersection with SR 35 north of Waterford, near that route's intersection with SR 5. That sum was beyond McKinley's means, and he planned to resign and earn the money as a lawyer. He was rescued by Hanna and other wealthy supporters, who raised the money to pay the loans. According to McKinley biographer Kevin Phillips, the governor's backers "paid off the cosigned notes so that McKinley—by now, the probable next president—did not need to go back to practicing law". The public sympathized with McKinley for his financial trouble, and he was easily re- elected as governor in late 1893.

Gallegos then went on to run for office in New Mexico as a Democrat. More controversy arose when Lamy had appointed Damaso Taladrid to replace Martínez as priest in Taos.
The historic eastern terminus of NH 113 as signed was at the Maine state line, along current US 302. From Center Conway, NH 113 was cosigned with US 302 and abruptly ended at the state line. Aside from this concurrency being redundant, the signage was potentially confusing, as US 302 intersects Maine State Route 113 just east of the state line. By fall 2015, new signage indicated that NH 113 had been truncated to end at US 302 at their junction in Center Conway.

He left behind few records other than land transactions, but was called a Deacon in a family record, and was given the title of Esquire in his obituary. He is most noted for his very large progeny of 16 children, and at least 89 grand children.

When Durant became financially overextended and banking interests assumed control, forcing him out of GM Holding, in 1910, he immediately set out to create "another GM", starting with the Little car, named after its founder, William H. Little. His initial intention was to compete with the Ford Model T, which was beginning the start of its impending popularity. Unsatisfied with this approach, he dropped it. Out of reverence for traditional kingship, for instance, the Oba of Benin, whose office was closely identified with Edo religion, was accepted as the sponsor of a Yoruba political movement. In the Eastern Region, appointed officials who were given "warrants" and hence called warrant chiefs, were strongly resisted by the people because they lacked traditional claims. In practice, British administrative procedures under indirect rule entailed constant interaction between colonial authorities and local rulers—the system was modified to fit the needs of each region. In the north, for instance, legislation took the form of a decree cosigned by the Governor and the emir, while in the south, the Governor sought the approval of the Legislative Council.

The construction of Interstate 55 through Southaven in the 1970s helped to promote growth and make for easier access to the city from Memphis, Jackson, St. Louis, and Chicago. Interstate 69, which will eventually run from Canada to Mexico, was cosigned with I-55 in Southaven in 2007. In 1988, Baptist Hospital-DeSoto opened in Southaven as a two-story hospital. In 2001, Baptist DeSoto started an expansion project, nearly doubling the size of the hospital. In 2002, Baptist Hospital-DeSoto added an Outpatient Diagnostic Center and a Women's Center. In November 2006, Baptist DeSoto opened an eleven-story hospital tower that added 140 beds to the facility, allowing it to offer all private rooms.
In 2004, Leahy was awarded the Electronic Privacy Information Center's Champion of Freedom Award for efforts in information privacy and open government. He is regarded as one of the leading privacy advocates in Congress. Leahy has been active in the international effort to ban the production, export and use of anti-personnel land mines. In 1992 Leahy penned a bill to prohibit the export of land mines, the first law of its kind. In 2000 Leahy cosigned a letter sent to Appropriations Committee conference members, requesting a delay in implementing Section 304 in H.R. 4392, the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2001 until it could be fully considered by the Senate Committee on the Judiciary.
Bassarabescu sided with the latter, leaving the PP to join Goga's National Agrarian Party (PNA). This was a problematic political move: the PNA was firmly planted on the antisemitic right-wing, albeit its prejudice was mild enough to even allow some Jews into party ranks.Boia (2012), pp. 102–103, 308 At the time, his more virulently antisemitic colleague, Brătescu- Voinești, was gathering support for purging the literary world of what he called "abject" Jewish influences.Boia (2012), pp. 72–73, 78–83, 107, 148 Bassarabescu occasionally joined in, such as when he cosigned Brătescu's letter to novelist Mihail Sadoveanu, an ambiguous document which implied that Sadoveanu had given in to such Jewish influences.Boia (2012), p.
From 1995 to 1997, he was the Chairperson of the National Assembly of Bulgaria; and from 1997 to 2002, he was its Deputy Chairperson. His candidacy for that position was supported by the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), the successor to the Bulgarian Communist Party (BCP). Although never a member of the BCP, Sendov had close ties to former Bulgarian communist dictator Todor Zhivkov. The rightist Union of the Democratic Forces removed him temporarily from that duty in 2000 when Sendov cosigned, together with four members of the BSP, a letter to the Israeli president asking that portraits of the Bulgarian Royal Family (from the 1940s) be removed from a memorial in Israel.

The R103 briefly changes direction at a t-junction in Roodekop, south of Wadeville, Germiston, where it becomes part of the Nederveen Highway and is cosigned with the R554 westwards towards Alberton Central. At the N3 Highway crossing, the R554/R103 Nederveen Highway changes its name to Heidelberg Road. At the Swartkoppies Road junction, the R554 becomes the road to the left (south) and the R103 remains on the westerly road, bending north towards the Alberton Central Business District and Johannesburg. From here, it is co- signed with the M31 Road of Johannesburg and becomes Ring Road West to pass through the western side of the Alberton CBD (New Redruth) before becoming Voortrekker Street.
55 academic and scientific organizations cosigned a letter, stating that while they appreciate and support the nation's security needs, the proposed form "is likely to have a chilling effect" on all travelers to the United States due to uncertainties and confusion regarding the supplemental questions and by delaying processing travelers who have strict deadlines and enrollment dates. The organizations said the form was unclear in the criteria for determining who would complete the form, the impact of unintentional incomplete disclosure of information, methods to correcting information initially provided, and how and for how long the information would be stored and kept private."Form DS-5535, Supplemental Questions for Visa Applicants". NAFSA: Association of International Educators.
They are cosigned southwards up to the next junction. As the R54 continues south-east to Villiers, Free State, the R42 becomes the road west-south-west. It forms the main road through Three Rivers westwards as General Hertzog Road, separating the two sides of the Three Rivers suburb (Three Rivers North from Three Rivers South, as indicated on road signage). At Peacehaven, the R42 turns southwards, following the Vereeniging Railway, to reach a junction with the R82 Road. As the R82 enters Gauteng from the Free State (crossing the Vaal River from the east), they are co-signed westwards, crossing under the Vereeniging Railway, up to the 2nd junction (Voortrekker Street).
From the N2 split, the R33 continues for 45 kilometres, crossing the Pongola River into the KwaZulu-Natal Province, to the town of Paulpietersburg, where it makes a left and a right turn. From Paulpietersburg, it heads 48 kilometres southwards to meet the western terminus of the R69 Route and the passing R34 Route in the town of Vryheid. West of Vryheid Central, the R33 meets the R34 at a 4-way junction and they become cosigned on the road leaving the city to the west-south-west. After 23 kilometres, immediately after crossing the Blood River, the R34 Route becomes its own road north-west, leaving the R33 as the west-south-westerly road.
One of the more reasonable responses to "New Mathematics" was a collective statement by Lipman Bers, Morris Kline, George Pólya, and Max Schiffer, cosigned by 61 others, that was published in "The Mathematics Teacher" and The American Mathematical Monthly in 1962. In this letter, the undersigned called for the use of the genetic method: Also, in the 1980s, departments of mathematics in the US were facing criticism from other departments, especially departments in engineering, that they were failing too many of their students, and that those students that were certified as knowing calculus in fact had no idea how to apply its concepts in other classes. This led to the "Calculus Reform" in the US.
NY 343 begins at an intersection with NY 82 (cosigned as U.S. Route 44 or US 44 until 2008) in the hamlet of South Millbrook, located within the village of Millbrook. The road heads eastward into the town of Washington, intersecting an old alignment of NY 82 and passing to the south of Millbrook Golf and Tennis Club. NY 343 continues past fields, residential homes, and farms. The highway passes south of the creek, Mill Brook, entering the hamlet of Littlerest, where it turns to the southeast at an intersection with County Route 99 (CR 99). At the intersection with CR 23, NY 343 again changes direction, this time to the northeast, and soon crosses Stone Church Brook in the hamlet of Mutton Hollow.
The expressway was completed through Fairmount Park in 1959, and in 1960 the entire expressway was complete with the opening of the segment through University City. Approaching the South Street exit The Schuylkill Expressway was initially designated as PA 43 and was cosigned with I-80S between King of Prussia and Center City Philadelphia and I-680 between Center City Philadelphia and the Walt Whitman Bridge when the Interstate Highway System was designated in 1956. Prior to the roadways being signed as interstates, I-395 was to be designated along the Schuylkill Expressway from the Vine Street Expressway to the Walt Whitman Bridge, however, I-680 was preferred to be the final designation for this route. On April 16, 1963, Pennsylvania wanted to renumber its Interstate numbers.
In May 1980, Nora founded at Gallimard the review Le Débat with philosopher Marcel Gauchet; this quickly became one of the major French intellectual reviews. He had participated at the Saint-Simon Foundation, created in 1982 by François Furet and Pierre Rosanvallon and dissolved in 1999. He opposed himself to the law of 23 February 2005 "supporting national recognition and national taxation in favour of French repatriations" and cosigned a petition in the daily Libération entitled "Liberté pour l'histoire".He presides over the eponymous Association This law, at line 2 of article 4, was abrogated on 15 February 2006, establishing that research programmes must be accorded more importance in lieu of French overseas presence and that the programmes of study came to recognize the positive role.
U.S. Route 51 or U.S. Highway 51 (US 51) is a major south-north United States highway that extends from the western suburbs of New Orleans, Louisiana, to within of the Wisconsin–Michigan state line. As most of the United States Numbered Highways ending with "1", it is a cross-country north-south route extending from the Gulf Coast region to the Great Lakes region. Much of the highway in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin runs parallel to or is cosigned with Interstate 39 (I-39) and much of the route in several states also parallels the Illinois Central Railroad. From LaPlace, Louisiana, Mississippi, to Memphis, Tennessee, much of that portion of US 51 runs largely parallel or is concurrent with Interstate 55 (I-55).
From Pearson to Douglas it joins with US Route 441 as a four-lane highway, which was completed in 2000. In Douglas, U.S. Route 221 runs as the eastern part of Bowens Mill Rd. and will be widened in the future. It passes through Hazelhurst, Mount Vernon and Soperton before crossing Interstate 16, then later joins up with U.S. Route 1 and Georgia State Route 4 after passing through Louisville. After going through Wrens it splits off to the north cosigned with Georgia State Route 47 and passes through Harlem before crossing Interstate 20 /Georgia State Route 402 about 20 miles West of Augusta, GA. Shortly before crossing into South Carolina, Georgia State Route 150 joins up at the Pollards Corner intersection as Georgia 47 turns away.
Bypassing Balfour to the south, it intersects with the R51 Road at a roundabout and continues south-east for another 75 km, through Greylingstad, to Standerton on the banks of the Vaal River, where it meets the south-eastern terminus of the R50 from Pretoria/Delmas and the south-western terminus of the R39 from Ermelo. At the same junction, it intersects with the R546 from Kinross/Evander. It is cosigned with the R546 for a few kilometres south-east of Standerton, beginning southwards as Walter Sisulu Drive, then south-east as Nelson Mandela Drive, before they split. Just after crossing the Vaal River, in the suburb of Meyerville, the R546 becomes its own road southwards at the George Street junction while the R23 resumes south-east.
After Roodepoort, the R41 continues westwards, crosses the R558 Road and quickly enters the Mogale City Local Municipality, a division of the West Rand District Municipality, bypassing the township of Kagiso. It continues westwards to enter the town of Randfontein in the Rand West City Local Municipality, also a division of the West Rand. North of Randfontein Central, the R41 meets the R28 Road from Krugersdorp and they are cosigned as one road southwards for 800 metres before the R41 becomes its own road westwards. It heads west for 29 kilometres, through Randfontein Rural and a few farming properties, to end at an intersection with the R500 Road, 3 kilometres south of the R500's intersection with the N14 National Route.
Monteith contended that the pair had named numerous species in trivial ways (including, for instance, naming a species after Darth Vader), and wrote that although Wells and Wellington had given some taxa names honoring working herpetologists, many of those namesakes supported suppressing the duo's work. Gordon C. Grigg, president of the Australian Society of Herpetologists, and Richard Shine wrote in a letter to the Herpetological Review that "the effect of these [Wells and Wellington's] publications, if taken seriously, would be to destabilise permanently the nomenclature of the Australian herpetofauna." The letter was cosigned by over 150 other herpetologists. In September 1984, the Australian Society of Herpetologists elected to petition the ICZN to formally suppress all of the names proposed in first of the pair's three papers, the only one published at that point.
By 1991, a freeway connection between IL 96 and IL 100 was finished; initially designated as part of US 36. Since 1995, part of US 36, from Springfield to south of Quincy, was cosigned with I-72. As a result of this change, IL 336 from Fall Creek at the current junction with I-72, north to US 24 near Fowler, was renamed from I-72/IL 336 to simply I-172. The upgrade of US 36 to Interstate standards provided Quincy with a much needed regional freeway. I-172 is a non-chargeable Interstate Highway, inasmuch it was built entirely with state funds designated as the original IL 336, until it received its I-172 designation. That same year, IL 336 was extended north to IL 61 at Mendon.
Preliminary routing of the highway from SR 38 near Pendleton to Indianapolis had it generally following the SR 67 corridor southwest, joining I-70 near German Church Road on the east side of Marion County, where the two routes would then be cosigned into the city. Later route location studies in 1961 recommended a different path, heading generally west from Pendleton to SR 37 near Fishers, then southwest past the Indianapolis outer beltway concurrent with the new location of that state route (now known as Binford Boulevard). Once well into the city, it would turn south to cross Fall Creek and meet up with the inner loop at its northeast corner. In fact, the grading and overpasses for this never-built connection's ramps can still be seen at that location.
It is an east-west route. Its western origin is a junction with the R511 just north of Hartbeespoort, North West. From there it heads east, crossing the border into Gauteng and entering the north-western part of the city of Pretoria in the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality. It meets with Pretoria's M17 Metropolitan Route at a staggered junction (cosigned for 400 metres northwards) before continuing eastwards through the suburbs of Akasia (as Brits Road; where it meets the R80 Mabopane Highway) and Pretoria North (as Rachel de Beer Street). Just after Pretoria North, at the suburb of Annlin West, It becomes co-signed with Pretoria's M1 Metropolitan Route southwards for 800 metres and the R101 north-east for 2 kilometers before becoming its own road eastwards (Sefako Makgatho Drive; formerly Zambesi Drive).
They continue to be cosigned heading east for another 3 miles before WIS 73 turns south to head to Randolph and Columbus. WIS 23 passes north of Green Lake and is joined by WIS 49 northeast of the city. There is a Business 23 that uses Lawson Dr in Green Lake. The highway concurrency of 23 and 49 enters Fond du Lac County two miles (3 km) east of Green Lake. 23 and 49 continue heading southeast to Ripon. On the southeast side of Ripon, WIS 49 South, along with WIS 44 South, cuts south toward Brandon, Markesan and Waupun. WIS 44 has a short cosign with WIS 23 on the eastside of Ripon before it cuts north to Pickett and Oshkosh. WIS 23 continues east, crossing WIS 26 in Rosendale.
The R29 used to end in Leandra by the R50 Road Junction, with the continuing straight road eastwards being part of the N17 National Route (The N17 formed a Z-Shape in Leandra, Cosigned with the R50 up to this junction before turning eastwards). But Today, the N17 East is now a continuous straight Highway from its primary junction with the R50 south of Leandra, letting the continuous road from the R29 & R50 junction eastwards also remain with the R29 designation. The R29 remains following and being an alternative route to The N17 Highway up to a point north-east of Evander and north-west of Secunda. From The R50 junction in Leandra, the R29 journeys eastwards for 20 km to the town of Kinross (North of Evander).
The R34 continues southwards for 100 kilometres, crossing the White Umfolozi River and the Mpembeni River, to meet the R66 (King Dinizulu Highway) south-west of Ulundi. They are cosigned southwards for 53 kilometres, meeting the eastern end of the R68 Road in the town of Melmoth, before the R34 becomes its own road eastwards near the Goedertrouw Dam. After 40 km, it enters Empangeni as Nkwanazi Street from the north-west and passes through the town to reach a major intersection with the R102 Road (Grantham Highway) in the southern outskirts. It leaves Empangeni as the John Ross Parkway eastwards and after a brief distance intersects and crosses the N2 freeway and continues east to Richards Bay, where it meets the southern terminus of the R619 Road.
The R59 begins at a t-junction with the R64 west of Dealesville. It heads north to the town of Hertzogville, where it meets the R708 at a t-junction next to the Palmietpan and they become co-signed northwards. North of the town the R59 turns right and becomes its own road north-east to Hoopstad where on the southerly outskirts, before the Vet River, it meets the northern terminus of the R700 at a t-junction and turns northwards. It crosses the Vet River into Hoopstad, where it meets and becomes cosigned with the R34. They loop to the north of the town and turn east before the R59 becomes its own road just north of the Tikwana suburb to resume its journey north-east and continues to cross the R505 before Bothaville.
In 1870, the Germantown and Perkiomen Turnpike Company was taken over by the city of Philadelphia and the tolls were removed. When Pennsylvania first legislated routes in 1911, the portion of Germantown Pike between Sandy Hill Road in Plymouth Meeting and Philadelphia was designated as Legislative Route 145. The portion of Germantown Pike from Sandy Hill Road to Philadelphia was designated as US 120 when the U.S. Highway System was created in 1926; US 120 was designated concurrent with PA 13. In 1927, US 422 replaced the US 120/PA 13 designation along this stretch of Germantown Pike. In the 1930s, Germantown Pike and Germantown Avenue between Church Road in Barren Hill and Chew Street in Philadelphia was signed as part of US 422 Byp. while US 309 was cosigned with US 422 Byp.
The day after, a letter cosigned by over 200 researchers from institutions in Québec is published. For the authors, the confidentiality of participants' data is an «inescapable aspect of academic research involving humans». They write that «the future of scientific inquiry and citizen confidence in academic research rely on this issue». Some days later, vice-rector for research, discovery, creation and innovation of Université de Montréal reiterates the importance of respecting research participants private life, which is a «key element of ethics of research involving human participants». At Université du Québec à Rimouski, researchers emphasize that failing to protect information obtained in a research context may «deter citizen response to researchers requests and questions as well as restricting access to first hand data essential to a fine understanding of social realities».
The entire length of the Ohio Turnpike is , from the western terminus in Northwest Township near Edon, where it meets the Indiana Toll Road at the Ohio–Indiana border, to the eastern terminus in Springfield Township near Petersburg where it meets the Pennsylvania Turnpike at the Ohio–Pennsylvania border. Most of the turnpike, between the Indiana border and an interchange with Interstate 76 (I-76) near Youngstown, is signed as part of I-80, while the eastern , between the I-80/I-76 interchange and the Pennsylvania border, is signed as part of I-76. For , between the Indiana border and Elyria, I-90 is cosigned with I-80 as part of the turnpike. The Ohio Turnpike does not pass directly into any major city, but does provide access to the four major metro areas in northern Ohio through connected routes.
East of Birchleigh, it meets the M43 (Vlei Street) at a t-junction. North-east of Birchleigh, near Esselen Park on the outskirts of Kempton Park, the route is intersected at a t-junction by the R23 High Road to the east and then, at the next junction, by the R25 to the west as Modderfontein Road. The R25 and M57 are cosigned northwards for 800 metres, with Esselen Park and the new Witfontein extension to its left, before the R25 breaks-off and heads east towards Bapsfontein at a busy 4-way-junction, with the road westwards providing access to Tembisa South. Continuing northwards, the M57 trails the Tembisa township to its west and the parallel R21 freeway to its east before intersecting the east/west R562 Olifantsfontein Road as Goedehoop Avenue in Tembisa North.
Since the completion of I-96 in 1977, several changes to the freeway have taken place. Beginning in 1984, an extension of the US 27 freeway (later to become I-69) bypassing Lansing opened; US 27 was then cosigned with I-96 along the western side of Lansing. Three years later, the I-69 designation was applied to this new bypass, resulting in a triple concurrency (I-96/I-69/US 27) that existed until 2002, when US 27 was decommissioned in Michigan. alt=Photograph of the From 2003 to 2005, the Beck Road interchange (exit 160) in Novi was reconstructed as a single point urban interchange (SPUI), the first in the metropolitan Detroit area and the first on I-96. An interchange between 36th Street and I-96 was built starting in 2005 and was completed in 2006.
After passing SR 18 east of Marion, I-69 then heads more northeast, straight toward the Fort Wayne metro area. At the south junction of I-469, located at Lafayette Center Road near the General Motors truck assembly plant, US 33 joins I-69. US 24 used to be cosigned with I-69 from this point to the interchange at Jefferson Boulevard (originally known as Upper Huntington Road), even though it took travelers on that route several miles out of their way. However, in the mid-2010s, INDOT rerouted and resigned US 24 from its junction with I-469 in New Haven to use the northern leg of that beltway (concurrent with westbound US 30) to I-69, then south on the parent Interstate route to the aforementioned Jefferson Boulevard interchange. Now, eastbound US 24 joins northbound I-69 and US 33 there.

Route S29 (1949-1953) The current alignment of PA 179 and Route 179 was a part of Old York Road, a historical 18th-century road that connected Philadelphia to New York City. With the establishment of the U.S. Highway System in 1926, the route was designated as a part of US 122, which became US 202 in the mid-1930s. In Pennsylvania, the route was initially cosigned with PA 52; that designation was removed by 1930. Prior to the 1953 New Jersey state highway renumbering, today's Route 179 was composed of three state routes: Route S29, designated in 1949 from the New Hope-Lambertville Bridge into Lambertville, a part of Route 29 from Lambertville to Ringoes that was designated in 1927, and a concurrency of Routes 29 and 30 northeast from Ringoes that was also designated in 1927.
The N4 encounters the Doornpoort Toll Plaza right before joining the N1. From this interchange, the N1 and the N4 are cosigned southwards on the Eastern section of the Pretoria Bypass for 12 kilometres, bypassing Montana Park, up to the Proefplaas Interchange, where the road westwards from this interchange is the M2 Road of Tshwane proceeding into Pretoria Central and the road eastwards is the N4 proceeding towards Mpumalanga Province while the Pretoria Eastern Bypass remains designated as the N1 towards Johannesburg. The Proefplaas Interchange, where the N4 leaves the Pretoria Eastern Bypass, marks the end of the N4 being known as the Platinum Highway. (It now continues as part of the Maputo Corridor) From the Proefplaas Interchange, the N4 goes eastwards for 48 kilometres, meeting the R515 Road & encountering a toll gate at Donkerhoek (Diamond Hill Toll Plaza), to reach the town of Bronkhorstspruit, where it meets the R25 Road.
After entering the state from Alabama, US 84/SR 38 travels east through Donalsonville to Bainbridge. The highways travel around the city to the south on a freeway bypass, cosigned with US 27/SR 1\. The road from the Johannesburg Stock Exchange to Ormonde, named Simmonds Road closer to Johannesburg CBD (meeting the M2 Highway) and Booysens Road through Booysens up to the M1 Highway, is labelled as R29 in some parts of the road. The road is officially designated as the M27, but some areas have it indicated as the R29 Road. On Johannesburg street signs, both the M27 and R29 symbols show on the street, from the Simmonds Road junction with Anderson Street south to Booysens. The signs suggest that the R29 does not end in Johannesburg Central, but instead becomes Simmonds Road/Booysens Road at their intersection and concludes at the junction with the M1 Highway (cosigned with the M27), with the section Of Anderson Street from the Simmonds Avenue junction to the Main Reef Road junction west of Johannesburg Central being part of the R41.
It continues for another 3 kilometres, bypassing the Vaalpark suburb, to meet the R59 Sybrand van Niekerk Freeway at a major interchange north of Sasolburg Central. From the R59 interchange, the R57 continues south-east as a highway (with off-ramps) for 9 kilometres, bypassing Sasolburg Central and the Zamdela suburb, up to its junction with the R82 Road from Vereeniging, Gauteng in the suburb of Coalbrook. It continues for another 3 kilometres south-east to meet a road to Deneysville (Vaal Dam) (connecting to the R549 and R716 roads). After the junction with the road to Deneysville, the road continues southwards for 47 kilometres to the town of Heilbron. It bypasses Heilbron Central to the west before meeting the R34 Road. The R57 and the R34 are cosigned eastwards for a few kilometers before the R57 becomes its own road southwards just south of Heilbron Central.
NH 10 exits I-89 onto U.S. Route 4, which it immediately joins westbound. US 4 and NH 10 cross the Mascoma River into the village of West Lebanon, where they intersect with NH 12A (providing local access to I-89). Just over to the north, US 4 splits off to cross the Connecticut River into White River Junction, Vermont. Now running along the eastern bank of the river, NH 10 continues north into the town of Hanover. At Dartmouth College in the heart of town, NH 10 meets its only child route, NH 10A, a connector to I-91 and US 5 in Norwich, Vermont, then intersects the northern terminus of NH 120 (NH 120 is cosigned with NH 10 on North Park Street). NH 10 continues north into the town of Lyme, where the only intersection of note is to East Thetford Road, a connector to Thetford, Vermont, which becomes Vermont Route 113 upon crossing the border to the west.
State Route 789 was a state highway in the eastern part of the state of Arizona, starting in the town of Nogales and ending at the New Mexico state line near Gallup on old U.S. Route 66 (presently Interstate 40). The route was cosigned with other routes, including U.S. Route 89 North from Nogales to Tucson, U.S. Route 80/U.S. Route 89 north from Tucson to U.S. Route 60 and U.S. Route 70 at Florence Junction, east on 60/70 to Globe and then 60 past Show Low to State Route 61, then east on 61 to U.S. 666 north of Springerville, where it overlapped U.S. 666 and U.S. 66 to Gallup N.M. It first appeared on an Arizona state map in 1956 and was decommissioned around 1965 when the route was decertified. State Route 789 was a leg of a proposed U.S. 789, a number proposed for the Canada to Mexico Highway.
Rated by American Conservative Union as the seventh most conservative legislator in Georgia, Moore ardently supports conservative issues. He has supported and cosigned multiple bills such as HB 2 (co-signed), which defends constitutional carry in Georgia; HB 481 (co-signed), the “Heartbeat Bill”; is a strong supporter of 10 year term limits; advocates for the end of film subsidies which costs Georgians exorbitant funds every year; and supports HB 179, “which would allow school teachers and administrators to utilize discipline in schools without having it negatively impact their school’s climate ratings.” On September 23, 2018 Representative-Elect Colton Moore sent a publicized letter to Dan Cathy, CEO of Chick-fil-A, to consider several locations throughout Dade County for new Chick-fil-A restaurants. The letter also suggested Chick-fil-A should consider Exit 169 off Interstate 24, which receives nearly 70,000 cars per day, as Chick-fil-A's first truckstop restaurant.
The existing Bow Valley Trail / Crowchild Trail section and former 17 Avenue SE section of Highway 1A used to be connected by following a series of streets through inner-city Calgary. From its present terminus, Highway 1A followed 16 Avenue NW east and was cosigned with Highway 1 to 14 Street NW. Highway 1A turned south, and after crossing the Bow River using the Mewata Bridge, and then branches east at its interchange Bow Trail. Highway 1A passed through downtown Calgary on a pair of one-way streets, with eastbound traffic following 9 Avenue S and westbound traffic following 6 Avenue S. East of 6 Street SE, both directions of Highway 1A followed 9 Avenue SE, crossing the Elbow River on the Inglewood Bridge and passing through the community of Inglewood, linking with eastern section of Highway 1A by either using 16 Street SE and Blackfoot Trail, or directly along 17 Avenue SE.Province of Alberta Canada Official Road Map 1962 (Map). The Dolphin Expressway is a , six-lane, divided controlled-access highway, with the westernmost as an all electronic tollway signed as State Road 836 (SR 836), and the easternmost between Interstate 95 (I-95) and SR A1A cosigned as Interstate 395. The road currently extends from just north of the intersection of Southwest 137th Avenue and U.S. Highway 41 (US 41) in Tamiami, eastward past the Homestead Extension of Florida's Turnpike (SR 821) and Miami International Airport, before intersecting I-95, becoming I-395 and ending at SR A1A in Miami at the west end of the MacArthur Causeway. The Dolphin Expressway is maintained and operated by the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority (MDX), while the I-395 section is maintained by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). The Dolphin Expressway from the Palmetto Expressway to I-95 opened in 1969, with the I-395 section opening in 1971, the extension to the HEFT opening in 1974 and a second western extension opening in 2007.
After the very public demonstration of huge energies released from nuclear fission after the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945, the equation became directly linked in the public eye with the power and peril of nuclear weapons. The equation was featured as early as page 2 of the Smyth Report, the official 1945 release by the US government on the development of the atomic bomb, and by 1946 the equation was linked closely enough with Einstein's work that the cover of Time magazine prominently featured a picture of Einstein next to an image of a mushroom cloud emblazoned with the equation. Einstein himself had only a minor role in the Manhattan Project: he had cosigned a letter to the U.S. president in 1939 urging funding for research into atomic energy, warning that an atomic bomb was theoretically possible. The letter persuaded Roosevelt to devote a significant portion of the wartime budget to atomic research.
Along with Gilbert Collard, Maréchal-Le Pen introduced on 7 December 2012 a constitutional private member's bill concerning the appointment of the members of the Constitutional Council of France. For the beginning of the fourteenth legislature, Maréchal-Le Pen cosigned four private member's bills including one constitutional forbidding marriage between same-sex persons and one organic which aims at enforcing the article 68 of the Constitution of France establishing a process of impeachment for the President of the Republic. According to the rules of the National Assembly, an unregistered person sitting in Parliament can question the government orally every eight sessions. Maréchal-Le Pen asked three oral questions for the beginning of the legislature: in 2013, to Manuel Valls, Minister of the Interior about the policy regarding Romani people and to Marisol Touraine, Minister of Health and Social Affairs about the fight against welfare fraud; in 2014, to Nicole Bricq, Minister for Foreign Trade about the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership.
The R82 Road begins in the southern suburbs of Johannesburg. It comes from Johannesburg Central in the north as the M1 Johannesburg Municipal Highway and changes to the R82 designation just after meeting the N12 Southern Bypass (Johannesburg Ring Road) (Uncle Charlie's Interchange) in Johannesburg South, near the Southgate suburb. At this interchange, only the N12 and the M1 have access to each other (N12 east to M1 north and M1 south to N12 west; no access between the N12 and the R82). At the next off-ramp with Columbine Avenue (M68) by Southgate Shopping Centre, the route stops being a highway and continues southwards as Vereeniging Road. it continues for 6 kilometres to meet the R554 route (Swartkoppies Road) from Alberton west of Kibler Park and they are cosigned southwards for 800 metres up to the western terminus of the R550 route from Nigel (at a four-way-junction), where the R554 route becomes the road westwards towards Lenasia.
Modern NH 9 was originally conceived as part of the New England Interstate system. It was first designated as New England Interstate Route 9 (NEI 9) in 1922, a designation which covered all of modern Vermont Route 9, NH 9, and Maine State Route 9 as far as Wells (SR 9 was extended in 1934), a distance of . The New England Interstate system declined in the mid-1920s in favor of the modern U.S. Numbered Highways and all of NEI 9 was redesignated as state highways bearing the number 9. The three modern state routes now form one of the longest highways in New England to retain a single number, stretching from the New York state border in Bennington, Vermont to the Canadian border in Calais, Maine, a total distance of . 80x80px 80x80px The section of NH 9 cosigned with US 202 between Hillsborough and Henniker is part of former New England Interstate Route 32. NEI 32 was superseded in the mid-1930s by US 202 west of Henniker, and by sections of modern NH 114 and NH 103 north of Henniker.
The related loop freeways I-440 and I-540 are primarily located in Wake County around Raleigh. I-440 begins at the interchange of US 1 and I-40 southwest of downtown Raleigh and arcs as a multiplex with US 1 northward around downtown with the formal designation as the Cliff Benson/Raleigh Beltline (cosigned with US 1 on three-fourths of its northern route) and ends at its junction with I-40 in southeast Raleigh. I-540, sometimes known as the Raleigh Outer Loop, extends from the US 64–264 Bypass to I-40 just inside Durham County, where it continues across the interstate as a state route (NC 540), prior to its becoming a toll road from the NC 54 interchange to the current terminus at NC Highway 55 near Holly Springs. I-95 serves the extreme eastern edge of the region, crossing north–south through suburban Johnston County. U.S. Routes 1, 15, and 64 primarily serve the region as limited-access freeways or multilane highways with access roads.
East of Martinsville, a loop between Byrd's Store and Axton follows the original alignment, although one section west of Byrd's Store and one section east of Chatmoss remain inaccessible. Between Martinsville and Danville and between Danville and South Boston the route was widened to four lanes as part of the Arterial Highway system initiated by the Commonwealth in the mid 1960s. A newer alignment was generally just added to the older alignment. A loop of the older alignment is visible east of Brosville. Approaching Danville, US 58 once again follows an expressway bypass to the south of the city, while a business route enters the city itself. The southeastern half of this bypass is shared with US 29. East of Danville, US 29 continues north, while US 58 picks up US 360 (which begins in central Danville) and resumes its eastward journey. The routes stay cosigned until South Boston, where US 360 resumes a more northerly route to Richmond, while US 58 travels eastward to Clarksville and crosses Kerr Lake.
That center turn lane is replaced by a brief second northbound lane. Long after that second northbound lane replaces the first one, the routes encounter the southern terminus of Georgia State Route 296, then passes along the eastern edge of Jefferson County High School (SR 296 runs west of the western edge of the school). Running through Wrens, the proposed Interstate 14 is supposed to run through and have an interchange with US 1-221, but for now the segment of that proposed interstate serves as the southern end of the SR 88 multiplex. Northeast of there, US 1/221/SRs 4/88 loses the concurrency with SR 17 at Thompson Street, and SR 88 leaves the concurrency at SR 80 as it briefly joins that route in another concurrency. Just after US 1/SR 4 widens to a four-lane undivided highway, US 221 splits off to the northwest cosigned with Georgia State Route 47 and passes the Wrens Memorial Airport. Later US 221/SR 47 starts to curve more toward the northeast rather than the northwest.
A stretch of I-69 cosigned with MS Route 304 in Mississippi Future I-69 along with US 49, US 61 and US 278 near Clarksdale, Mississippi The nearly portion of the I-69 extension from south of Clarksdale, Mississippi, to the Louisiana/Texas state line is planned to be built as a new-terrain route that parallels existing US and state highways in some locations. As well as covering the part in Texas northeast of Nacogdoches, SIU 16 also extends into Louisiana, ending at US 171 near Stonewall. SIU 15 continues around the south and east sides of the Shreveport area, crossing I-49 and ending at I-20 near Haughton. SIU 14 extends northeast from I-20 to US 82 near El Dorado, Arkansas, and SIU 13 continues northeast to US 65 near McGehee, mainly paralleling US 278. Also included in Corridor 18, as SIU 28, is an extension of I-530 from Pine Bluff south along the US 425 corridor to I-69 west of Monticello; a short piece at the south end opened in mid-2006 as Highway 530.
43 Street in south Lethbridge, the busiest section of Highway 4 Prior to the construction of 43 Street, the former alignment of Highway 4 in Lethbridge was along Mayor Magrath Drive, cosigned with Highway 5 to 3 Avenue in south Lethbridge, which was then Highway 3. It was later signed as 24 Avenue past Highway 5 (Mayor Magrath Drive), becoming Scenic Drive and continuing in a northwest direction to Highway 3 near downtown. In 1992, 43 Street in south Lethbridge was widened from two to four lanes, although it did not carry the Highway 4 designation at this time. Ordinarily, Alberta begins to consider upgrading to a divided highway when traffic levels reach 10,000 vehicles per day. The majority of Highway 4 remains well below this threshold, but it is a component of the CANAMEX Corridor in southern Alberta, to which Alberta had made a commitment to upgrading in the late 1980s. Plans for a divided highway were confirmed by 1989, and reiterated as a priority by annual reports published by Alberta Transportation through the 1990s.
After splitting from US 3, NH 11 intersects with two of its "child" routes, NH 11C and NH 11B, as it heads towards Lake Winnipesaukee. The highway turns southeast along the southern end of the lake and crosses into the town of Alton. NH 11 intersects the eastern terminus of NH 11A before continuing south along the west side of Alton Bay. This section of the highway has views of the bay and of Lake Winnipesaukee as a whole. NH 11D provides local residential access along this semi-limited access section. NH 11 descends into Alton village and intersects with NH 28A, which runs up the eastern side of the bay. NH 11 and NH 28A are cosigned through the downtown area, passing the eastern terminus of NH 140 before meeting NH 28 at a large roundabout, where NH 28A ends. NH 11 continues southeast through New Durham without any major intersections before continuing into Farmington. NH 11 bypasses downtown Farmington to the southwest, with NH 75 and NH 153 providing local access.
At this time, the route was paved between PA 23 and the north end of the US 422 concurrency. By 1930, PA 363 was rerouted to follow Trooper Road between Egypt Road and US 422. At this time, the entire length of the route was paved. By 1945, PA 363 was extended west to end at PA 23 a short distance to the east of the community of Valley Forge. This portion of route was cosigned with PA 23 Truck by 1950. PA 363 was rerouted to follow Gulph Road from Port Kennedy to US 202 in King of Prussia, with PA 23 being rerouted to follow the former PA 363 between Valley Forge and Port Kennedy, by 1967. Also by this time, the US 422 concurrency on Ridge Pike had been removed and a freeway had been built that connected PA 363 a short distance north of the Schuylkill River to the US 202 freeway on the border of Chester and Montgomery counties. By 1989, the southern terminus of PA 363 was cut back to its current location at the US 422 interchange.
Johannsen acquired his first driving license at 11 when living at Deep Well and, after finishing his schooling at 15 in Alice Springs, he was driving his own truck and held the government contract for sanitary and garbage services in the town; as he was underage this contract was cosigned by his father and brother-in-law Bill Petrick. In 1932 he took on an additional contract as a mail contractor for the region east of Alice Springs and the mail run extended to: Alcoota, Ambalindum, Arltunga, Claraville, Delny, MacDonald Downs, Mount Riddock, Mount Swan, Waite River and Winnecke. One story told about Johannsen around this period is that he once broke an axle when far from assistance and managed to fix it well enough to get back to town using a mulga tree and a knife. Over the following years Johannsen had many roles and was involved in many exploits before, in 1936, starting on his most remembered innovation, the 'Bitzer' Mulga Express which was designed to be able to haul more as well as handle the bad roads around Central Australia; and, in the early years, was quite an unexpected sight.
SH 19T was cancelled when the rerouting of SH 19 from Canton to Fruitvale opened. On September 26, 1939, the sections south of Palestine which were cosigned with US 287 and US 75 were dropped. One section became part of SH 45, and another was renumbered to SH 288. On April 15, 1940, SH 19 was extended north to Sulphur Springs, a modification of the much longer proposed extension that was not designated. On September 26, 1945, SH 19 was routed over FM 647 from 1 mile south of the Hopkins County Line through Emory to Dunbar. On August 24, 1960, it was extended northward to its original starting point of Paris and again to the south to Huntsville, replacing a portion of SH 45. On May 21, 1979, SH 19 was extended over Loop 405 in Huntsville. leftSH 19A was a spur route of SH 19 that was originally planned on February 18, 1919, splitting off at Angleton and traveling to Palacios. On March 19, 1923, it extended east to Galveston and west to Ganado, with the old route to Palacios being changed to SH 19B.
The R29 begins in Johannesburg, at a junction with the R41 Road (Main Reef Road) in the Westgate suburb, as Marshall Street eastwards and Anderson Street westwards (one-way streets). The R29 continues eastwards as John Page Street by way of a right turn after the Jeppestown suburb. Shortly after, it becomes Main Reef Road. After Cleveland, the route continues by way of a right turn at Kraft Road. North of Germiston Central in the City of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, the R29 continues by way of a right turn at Shamrock Road, where it meets the southern terminus of the M57 Municipal Route. At the next junction, the R29 continues eastwards by way of a left turn towards Boksburg. At Boksburg North, it intersects with the R21 and continues as Cason Road, up to its junction with the M43 road, where it enters Benoni. Through Benoni Central, It is Princess Avenue eastwards and Ampthill Avenue westwards (one-way streets) (meeting the R23 Route during this time), up to Kleinfontein, where it is named Main Reef Road again and proceeds by way of a right turn to be cosigned with the M45 Municipal Route.
