In 1969 Williams joined the Zap Comix collective of artists with the infamous issue number 4 of Zap Comix. He flourished within the non- conformist, anti-establishment art movement of that time, along with Robert Crumb, S. Clay Wilson, Gilbert Shelton, Spain Rodriguez, Rick Griffin, and Victor Moscoso. That same year, he created Coochy Cooty, his seminal underground comix antihero. His creation was unleashed in 1970 in Coochy Cooty Men's Comics and in many issues of Zap Comix, and is still alive today in Williams's oil paintings.

In 1993, a major exhibition was held at the Julie Rico Gallery in Santa Monica shortly after the Laguna Museum show "Kustom Kulture". It was at this time that the lowbrow art movement began to take on steam. Featured in the exhibition titled, "Rat Fink Meets Fred Flypogger Meets Cootchy Cooty" were Roth, Willams, and Mouse and their creations. The L.A. Times placed Roth's Rat Fink on the cover of the Culture section December 20, 1993 with a full article about the entire exhibition.

In c. 1971, he produced the fourth through eighth printings of Robert Crumb's Big Ass Comics, originally published by Rip Off Press in 1969.Big Ass Comics, Grand Comics Database. Accessed Dec. 28, 2016. Around the same time, Green reprinted Robert Williams' Coochy Cooty Men's Comics, originally published by the Print Mint in 1970. In 1976, he produced new printings of Ted Richards' Dopin' Dan #1-2, originally published by Last Gasp in 1972–1973. When the self-publishing cooperative Cartoonists Co-Op Press started up in 1973, Green acted as salesman/distributor.

David Taylor Chastain (born August 31, 1953) is an American guitarist, and owner of Leviathan Records and Diginet Music. Chastain is a heavy metal guitarist who emerged in the mid-1980s along with a wave of other neo- classical guitarists. He has released about 50 recordings under multiple names, including David T. Chastain, CJSS, Georgia Blues Dawgs, The Cincinnati Improvisational Group, SPIKE, Zanister, Ruud Cooty and Southern Gentlemen (blues-rock); as well as a number of heavy metal releases under the band name Chastain, accompanied by female vocalist Leather Leone. In more recent years, Chastain has worked as a record producer at his own company, Leviathan Records.

A minor joke in the beginning is the manager character mispronouncing the name Budi (Cudi's character), a reference to the popular media confusion regarding the pronunciation of "Cudi", as many people pronounced it "Kid Cooty" when he first emerged. Curiously, all products are British and pricing on the shelves is in pounds Sterling but pricing on labels behind the till are in Dollars. The manager also has a British accent while the police woman is in an American police uniform. The third video that was released (also for The Crookers remix) was actually shot before the others in 2008, by New York directing duo, BBGUN.
