The Skansen Tunnel is a proposed road tunnel in the city centre of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. The tunnel would begin at Bontelabo by the large cruise ship port and it would run in one of two possible paths. The first path would run to the southeast and then south to meet up with the road Christies gate in the city centre. The second path would head east until it connects up with the Fløyfjell Tunnel.

The border begins in the west at the tripoint with Mauritania, and is a continuation of the NW-SE straight line that forms the Algeria–Mauritania border. This straight line runs for circa 752 km (467 m). Just north of the 21st parallel north the border shifts southwards, proceeding to the south-east via a series of irregular lines and the Tin-Zaouatene and I-n-Akantarer wadis, before turning to the north-east where a straight line connects up to the tripoint with Niger. The border lies entirely within the Sahara desert.

The Taito NESYS (Network Entry System) is an arcade game network communication system by Taito Corporation. It connects up arcade machines via a network, and allows players to participate in national rankings and online play, as well as allowing arcade operators to download updates for games. The Taito NESiCAxLive digital distribution system uses NESYS as its networking system. The system uses the NESYS IC Card smart card to allow players to save game data at arcade machines; one example of this was Street Fighter IV. These cards will remain compatible with the machine even as the games it hosts change.

Holmes Jungle Nature Park is a protected area in the Northern Territory of Australia consisting of a small, relatively isolated area of monsoon forest at the edge of northern suburbs of the territorial capital of Darwin. It provided a habitat for a large variety of native birds, mammals and reptiles which are able to breed and find refuge in the thick vegetation. The area of the park is approximately 250 hectares and Pine Creek winds its way through the park to its centre. The creek connects up other waterways of the Shoal Bay area and saltwater crocodiles can always be present.

The second University Chancellor of the University was Prof. Ricardo M. de Ungria, who was installed on September 21, 2001. The border then reaches the Bafing River, which it follows eastwards, and then the Djinko. The border then goes overland in a southwards direction, with a very brief section utilising the Niger river, before another overland section connects up to the Sankarani River, which it follows for some distance to the south-west. The border then leaves this river, going overland in an eastward and then southward direction via a series of irregular lines, before reaching the tripoint with the Ivory Coast.

Smack Mellon’s arts education initiative, Art Ready engages young people in a way no other arts education program does, it pairs students directly with working artists; the students learn first hand over the course of a school year what it is to be an artist in the artist’s studio. The program operates during the school year and includes a series of studio visits with emerging and established artists; a series of field trips to museums and galleries; 2-3 art workshops; and a four-month arts mentorship. Art Ready connects up to twenty high school students with ten diverse artists, to gain practical experience working with professionals in a variety of artistic disciplines. The program is free for students.

For viewers of films with aestheticized violence, such as John Woo's movies, she claims that "One of the many pleasures" from watching Woo's films, such as Hard Target, is that it gets viewers to recognize how Woo plays with conventions "from other Woo films" and how it "connects up with films...which include imitations of or homages to Woo". Bruder argues that films with aestheticized violence such as "Hard Target, True Romance and Tombstone are [filled] with... signs" and indicators, so that "the stylized violence they contain ultimately serves as...another interruption in the narrative drive" of the film.
