The regularity of dusting and cleaning will differ institution to institution, and will depend upon factors like foot-traffic, how well the space is sealed off from the outside, and how long it takes for dust to build up. As a general rule, work areas should be cleaned frequently, storage areas and furniture less so, and objects dusted occasionally and only after consulting a conservator. Inside work areas, floors should be swept or vacuumed and work surfaces should be cleared off and dusted. Storage areas probably need less frequent attention, but should still have the floors cleaned and exposed surfaces of storage furniture like shelves wiped down.

As of June 20, 1898, fifty men and teams were working, and the contractor expected the project to be complete before high water in the fall.

He was, however, a too warm adherent of free trade principles to enjoy the confidence either of the Agrarian Party or of Prince Otto von Bismarck, and his antagonism to the tobacco monopoly and the general economic policy of the latter brought about his retirement. Camphausen's great services to Prussia were recognized by his sovereign in the bestowal of the Order of the Black Eagle in 1895, a dignity carrying with it a patent of nobility.
The Yidiny, along with many other tribal people in the tropical rainforest areas from Cairns to Ingham, and the Atherton Tableland were cleared off their land to enable the establishment of cattle stations and sugar cane plantations. Jack Kane participated in some massacres as a youth and recalled, in 1938 one episode alone in 1884, during a week-long campaign to round up the tribes, Queensland police and native troopers, encircled a Yidiny camp at what became known as Skull Pocket, several miles north of Yungaburra. At dawn, a shot was fired from one side into the camp to make them scatter, and then as they rushed into the ambushing forces elsewhere, were shot down. The native police then stabbed or smashed the brains of the children.
The loss saw the Saints drop to tenth in the table. Southampton lost their fourth league game in a row on 14 January, after they were beaten 1–0 away to Burnley. The visitors came closest to opening the scoring in the first half through Dušan Tadić, whose shot was cleared off the line, and also enjoyed the majority of chances in the second period. However, it was the hosts who scored the only goal of the game through substitute Joey Barton, who scored a free kick in the 78th minute to send the Saints down to 13th in the league table. Southampton won their first Premier League game in over a month on 22 January, beating league champions Leicester City 3–0 at home.
However, with twenty-minutes in, a free-kick from Cardiff saw Matthew Connolly score from a free-header, somehow giving Cardiff City a 0–2 lead. After this Sheffield Wednesday had better chances to score as Miguel Llera had two free-kicks saved by the opposition keeper and Leroy Lita had a goal disallowed for offside, while also a shot cleared off line after Anthony Gardner's header could not find the net. The game finished and it was not particularly the result that saddened the fans but the results elsewhere and the league table. All the teams around Sheffield Wednesday (apart from Bristol City as they played Wolves) won, this being Millwall, Huddersfield Town, Barnsley, Peterborough United, Ipswich Town, Birmingham City, and Wolves.
He said that playing in a more technical and tactical league than League One, where the long ball predominated, would suit his creative attacking style as well as help him improve the defensive aspects of his game. He made his debut on 13 January with his side losing 1–0 to AZ Alkmaar, and came close to setting up an equaliser when his neat pass was played over the goalkeeper but cleared off the line; AZ won 3–1. Crowley's first goal at De Adelaarshorst for Eagles came late in a 3–1 defeat to Vitesse on 26 February, and he scored with "a fabulous curling effort into the top corner" in a 4–1 loss against Heracles on 8 April.
Atlanta Silverbacks Park, where Lancaster played for four years of his career Lancaster re-signed with former club Atlanta Silverbacks in December 2011. He made the decision to sign after Alex Pineda Chacón was announced as the Atlanta's new head coach, and Pineda Chacón was someone who impressed Lancaster during his first stint with the club when he was assistant coach. He made his second debut for the club on 7 April when he started in the draw with the San Antonio Scorpions, he had a close range header cleared off the line in the game at Atlanta Silverbacks Park. On 16 May, Lancaster was sent off in the defeat against the Puerto Rico Islanders, and at the beginning of June he was sent off again in the win against FC Edmonton.
Chicago's first scoring chance came in the sixth minute as Piotr Nowak delivered a low cross into the box that was deflected towards goal by Chris Armas, only to be cleared off the line by defender Jeff Agoos. After a header by Sanneh nearly broke the deadlock for United in the tenth minute, the Fire's "Eastern Bloc" took control of the midfield and pushed for their own chances. Jerzy Podbrożny's shot in the 14th minute was saved by Tom Presthus, while an effort by Ante Razov hit the post four minutes later. (second page) Chicago scored the match's first goal in the 29th minute following a build-up from their half and several one-touch passes, culminating in a give-and-go pass from Razov to Nowak in the penalty area.
The line between Fitchburg and Gardner would cost $104.2 million to double track, and speeds are limited due to the grades going through the Mount Wachusett range. Because the Route 2 expressway is faster along the corridor than rail service would be, the expansion was projected to attract just 50 riders per day. (Ridership at the former station was just 24 riders per day in 1983 - the lowest among regular stops on the system.) Instead, it was decided to extend the Fitchburg Line 4.5 miles to a new station at Wachusett, which opened in September 2016 with a park-and-ride lot off Route 2 expected to attract 400 riders per day. The 1980s platform still exists; it became overgrown for a time but was later cleared off for freight yard access.
Wide-midfielder Danny Pugh then also joined on loan until the end of the season from fellow Championship side Leeds United. Meanwhile, loanee's Mamady Sidibé and Jérémy Hélan went back to their respective clubs – although it was widely known that Dave Jones was trying to re-capture Hélan, but it was then confirmed that he had joined Watford on loan instead. The game away to Charlton Athletic came as the last game of the first month of the year, and a debút was given to new- loanee Danny Pugh. The clash started off fairly quietly and evenly, and the first key chance fell to Sheffield Wednesday, as Danny Pugh's corner found Anthony Gardner completely unmarked at the far post, and after a touch from Michail Antonio the ball was cleared off the line.
The Dynamo dropped their attacking players into the midfield and defense to resist pressure from the Revolution, who continued to earn opportunities to score but left themselves vulnerable to counterattacks. Alejandro Moreno, who was substituted late in the second half for Paul Dalglish, missed a header from a corner kick in the 95th minute; this was followed three minutes later by a header from Clint Dempsey that was cleared off the goal line by Wade Barrett. The opening goal of the match was scored in the 113th minute by Taylor Twellman, who received a slip pass from Khano Smith and made a one- touch shot from to end New England's 346-minute scoring drought in MLS Cup finals. Twellman and several of his teammates ran across the length of the field to celebrate in front of a section with Revolution fans.
He made a full recovery prior to the first game of the spring, in order to help Horsens in their battle against relegation. On 20 May 2013, the club went into the final day's fixtures needing a win to avoid relegation in a direct relegation-battle against Retov's former club, Brøndby IF at home. A dramatic endphase, in which Horsens thought they had scored the 1–0 goal after a towering header by Alexander Juel Andersen, was, however, cleared off the goal-line by Jens Stryger Larsen. Shortly afterwards, Brøndby's 10 men (following a red card to Brøndby-winger Quincy Antipas) had a quick counter- attack, where Dennis Rommedahl's low cross into the box found Lebogang Phiri who could easily score the 0–1 which meant relegation to the Danish 1st Division (second tier) for Horsens and Retov.
The Fyrish Monument The Fyrish Monument is a monument built in 1782 on Fyrish Hill (Cnoc Fhaoighris), in Fyrish in Evanton, near Alness, Easter Ross, Scotland, on the orders of Sir Hector Munro, 8th of Novar, a native lord of the area who had served in India as a general. As the local population were being cleared off the land they had worked for centuries by the Lords of the Land, survival was a problem and so it was built to keep the locals in labour. It was said that Sir Hector rolled stones from the top of the hill to the bottom, thereby extending the amount of time worked and paying the labourers for additional hours. It represents the Gate of Negapatam, a port in Madras, India, which General Munro took for the British in 1781.
The scoring started early, as winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored within nine minutes before Adam Lallana made it two shortly before half time. In the second half though, the Saints made their advantage really count, converting a further four chances with Guly do Prado, Richard Chaplow, Rickie Lambert and substitute Lee Barnard adding to their season tallies to increase the pressure at the top of League One. Southampton's winning run came to an end on 15 January, as the match with Notts County ended goalless. The Saints had the majority of possession throughout the game, José Fonte was denied a goal in the second half as his header was cleared off the line, and in the last minute Ryan Dickson cleared a County effort off the line to leave the match goalless. The misfortune continued when Southampton lost 2–0 to Tranmere Rovers in the return game at Prenton Park.
The game continued in the visitors' favour and Rochdale doubled their lead just after the hour mark courtesy of a volley from Gary Jones, leaving the Saints in a precarious position leading up to the imminent appointment of a new manager. Saints, still without a replacement manager, played Swindon Town on 11 September after losing 3–0 to the club in the League Trophy less than two weeks before. The game was yet another disappointment for Dean Wilkins's side, who lost 1–0 courtesy of a 65th-minute goal from Charlie Austin, despite hitting the frame of the goal twice and having an effort cleared off the line during the game. Following the appointment of Nigel Adkins as the club's new first team manager, the Saints played Milton Keynes Dons at Stadium:mk on 15 September, the game having been postponed following the death of Markuss Liebherr.
On the last day of the season, Birmingham needed at least a draw away at Bolton Wanderers and for other results to favour them to avoid relegation to League One. Two goals down with 12 minutes left, Nikola Žigić scored, and three minutes into stoppage time, his close-range header was cleared off the line to Caddis, who produced what he thought was his first ever headed goal to preserve Birmingham's second-tier status. Caddis missed only one match in all competitions in 2014–15his 48 appearances were more than any of his teammates he was the regular penalty-taker, and he captained the team when Paul Robinson was unavailable. The Birmingham Mail rated him one of the best attacking full backs in the division, praising his "delivery, support play and ability with a dead ball", and suggested that his assertiveness in defence was starting to improve.
The originally forested land was cleared for agricultural use in the 19th century, but years of poor grazing and agricultural practices led to severe erosion and poor soil composition. As quoted in a 1914 Cincinnati Times-Star editorial, a farmer facetiously remarked that his farm (in Westwood) "was a good one when he first took it up but that since he had cleared off all the trees it had slid down the creek and was to be found somewhere in the neighborhood of New Orleans." According to the National Park Service: > Established in 1911, the Mount Airy Forest covers an impressive 1459 acres > and includes natural areas, planned landscapes, buildings, structures, and > landscape features. The numerous hiking trails, bridle paths, walls, > gardens, pedestrian bridges, and various other improvements within Mount > Airy Forest reflect the ambitious park planning and development that took > place in Cincinnati in the early-to-mid-20th century.
The first chance fell to Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin who had a looping header cleared off the line by Joel Ward. The main talking point of a disappointing first half came as Marouane Chamakh was booked for diving in the penalty area when rounding Saints goalkeeper Artur Boruc, when he went to ground instead of choosing to shoot. Just two minutes after the restart, however, Saints' record signing Dani Osvaldo opened the scoring with a drilled left-footed shot from the edge of the penalty area after good work from Nathaniel Clyne and Adam Lallana down the right. Two minutes after that, Osvaldo was brought down on the left side of the penalty area, and Rickie Lambert scored a superb free-kick which went in off the inside of the post. It was his 200th league goal and first since the opening day of the season.
The Saints started positively from the beginning of the game, creating numerous chances for the returning Rickie Lambert with Gastón Ramírez, having recently returned from injury, also taking part in many attacking moves early on. In the 20th minute Lambert hit the crossbar with a free kick, and later in the first half had a headed effort cleared off the line by striker Nikica Jelavić. In the second half the visitors enjoyed more of the action, with midfielder Marouane Fellaini coming close twice early after the break. Artur Boruc made a number of key saves later in the game, and despite having a high number of corners Southampton could not break the deadlock and the match ended 0–0. ;Manchester United (30 January 2013) After a break for the FA Cup fourth round matches, during which time the squad travelled to Barcelona for training, Southampton travelled to Old Trafford to face league leaders Manchester United on 30 January 2013.
In the match, Meram had several chances at goal, including a shot cleared off the line by a Kuwaiti defender just before halftime. Meram earned his second call- up to participate in training camp and friendlies ahead of the 2015 AFC Asian Cup. In December 2014, it was announced that Meram was called into Iraq's camp for four friendlies in the following weeks against Kuwait, Iran, and two against Uzbekistan. At that time, he was also named to Iraq's squad for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup to be held in Australia in January 2015. Meram made his competitive debut as a second-half substitute in Iraq's first match and second match of the tournament, a 1-0 victory over Jordan on January 12, 2015, and a 1-0 loss to Japan. He started the Lions of Mesopotamia's final Group stage match against Palestine (January 20), helping Iraq to a 2-0 win and qualification for the Quarterfinals.
The loan was extended for a further month in October, the keeper eventually returning to Reading after making 10 appearances for Southend. In December, shortly after returning from his loan spell, Federici signed a contract extension, keeping him with the club until the summer of 2011. During December, Federici also started a run of first team appearances for Reading, due to a calf injury sustained by longtime first-choice stopper Marcus Hahnemann against Blackpool, keeping the American goalkeeper out for several weeks. After coming on as a late substitute in that game, Federici went on to make his full league debut between the posts against Norwich City, drawing praise from manager Steve Coppell for his performance. On 26 December 2008, Federici scored a 96th-minute goal from a rebound after Michael Duberry had a header cleared off the line from a Stephen Hunt corner, to give Reading a late equaliser in their 1–1 draw against Cardiff City.
Feet of Fines Surrenders in the Trinity Term, year 29 of Elizabeth I In 1631–32 Thomas Grymes acquired it leaving it to his son who became Sir George Grymes; in the English Civil War Robert Wilson acquired and conveyed it to Leonard Wessel [sic] in 1694, who held the manor for ten years during which time he rebuilt in into today's Grade I listed Queen Anne building, children's home and charity headquarters, Tadworth Court. Later an Act of Parliament enabled a fee tail to be cleared off to sell the manor for lack of descendants of John Fleetwood who earlier acquired it, selling it to William Mabbot. Mabbot died at Tadworth Court in 1764, having devised his property to his wife, Lady Rhoda Delves and daughter Rhoda, who with Edward Beaver sold the Court to Sir Henry Harpur in 1773. Robert Hudson and later his widow held from 1808 to c.
He joined Aston Villa for an undisclosed fee and played for a season at Villa Park, His most memorable moment came when he scored a hat-trick against Leeds United in a 3–2 win in the FA Cup, including a spectacular long range strike from 35 yards; the day before the match, Villa manager John Gregory had refused to let the homesick Italian return to his homeland, insisting he would feel better after scoring against Leeds. This, added to his strikes against Darlington and Everton, meant he contributed five goals in Villa's cup run that season. Carbone started in the FA Cup final alongside strike partner Dion Dublin in a 1–0 loss to Chelsea in the 2000 final, with Chelsea winning the match 1–0 after a goal by Roberto Di Matteo, Carbone nearly scored when his goal bound shot was cleared off the line by Frank Leboeuf. The loss meant Carbone earned an FA Cup runners-up medal by playing in the final.
Troy Deeney had his shot go just wide of the post, before the best chance of the game at this point fell to Matěj Vydra whose effort hit the outside of the post. Then, at the other end of the pitch, Jérémy Hélan's troublesome dribbling and pace saw him worry the defence into making a back pass, where Watford goalkeeper Jonathan Bond made a mistake, which led to Michail Antonio giving the Owls the lead, scoring from a tight angle. After the goal Sheffield Wednesday were by far the better team and arguably should have been at least three or four goals up by half-time. A great free-kick by Miguel Llera saw Jonathan Bond make a fabulous save right in the top corner of the goal, this save saw a header from Lewis Buxton just cleared-off the line by an opposition defender as Anthony Gardner tried to put the ball home as well.
However, replays show that Lewis Buxton's header en route to goal was handled by a Watford defender, trying to stop the ball from going into the net, and the ball that was then cleared off the line by another defender had actually crossed the line after all, therefore Sheffield Wednesday should have either been given a penalty and Watford down to ten-men, or Sheffield Wednesday should be two-goals up. After this incident, superb play by Jérémy Hélan once more, saw his volley finely saved by the goalkeeper, and Kieran Lee's effort somehow go wide of the goal, with it looking easier for ball to put into the back of the net. Wednesday went on to have a few half chances before the break, but so did Watford as Chris Kirkland made one fine save. Half-time was called and although a good lead for Sheffield Wednesday, they really should have been leading by more.
Southampton started the game positively, with recently announced England international Rickie Lambert taking a long shot early on before providing Adam Lallana with the ball to score a volley in the seventh minute and put the team one up at home. The Saints continued to press, with attacking play through Morgan Schneiderlin, Jay Rodriguez, and Jos Hooiveld (who had a header cleared off the line), but it was a defensive error on the part of the Premier League side that allowed Sociedad midfielder Gorka Elustondo to tap in for 1–1. The hosts responded quickly though, as Schneiderlin got onto the end of a pass by new signing Victor Wanyama to regain his side's lead just four minutes later; Carlos Vela scored a second equaliser for the Spanish side though when he beat young defender Calum Chambers in the box, before Hooiveld helped Southampton regain their lead again with a powerful header on 40 minutes. Just before the end of the first half, Luke Shaw picked up an injury which saw him forced off the pitch and replaced by Danny Fox.
Despite dominating the opening exchanges though, it was the visitors' goal that was tested first as a low strike by Robin van Persie was saved by Artur Boruc, although Victor Wanyama quickly took a shot himself before Dani Osvaldo had the best chance of the opening half from inside the penalty area, scuffing it into the hands of David de Gea. It was the hosts who struck first though, putting the ball in the back of the net only for it to be called back for offside, before Wayne Rooney got in behind the Saints defence and forced a decent save out of Boruc, allowing van Persie to come in and strike the ball home for 1–0. Rooney almost doubled United's lead minutes later when he hit the crossbar from a Patrice Evra cross, and despite additional pressure from the Saints it was United who went into half-time in the better position. In the second half, Southampton started like they had the first at high pace, forcing a corner for themselves after the opening five minutes, from which Dejan Lovren saw his header cleared off the line by goalscorer van Persie.
