Characters are classified with a Numeric type. Characters such as fractions, subscripts, superscripts, Roman numerals, currency numerators, encircled numbers, and script-specific digits are type Numeric. Dale Nichols (July 13, 1904 – October 19, 1995), also published under his full name, Dale William Nichols, was an American visual artist whose works included illustrations, paintings, lithographs, and wood carvings. Formai de Mut dell'Alta Valle Brembana is an Italian cheese prepared from raw cow's milk that originated in Lombardy, Italy. It is prepared in a similar manner to Fontina d'Aosta cheese at Alta Valle Brembana in high pasture lands and in Bergamo, Lombardy. Tentaculites oswegoensis is a small animal of unknown origin that is often classified with molluscs or even as marine worms with a hard body. The green algae are a large group of photosynthetic eukaryotes that include many microscopic organisms. Dactylellina haptotyla belongs to the family Orbiliaceae. Before nematode-trapping fungi were studied phylogenetically, Dactylellina haptotyla had been classified with more than five synonyms, and it is commonly known as Arthrobotrys candida, Monacrosporium haptotyla and Dactylella haptotyla. The classification was ambiguous because the fungus does not form non-constricting loops all the time. For example, M. candidum and M.yunnanense form stalk adhesive knobs and non-constricting rings, while M. sclerohypha and M.haptotylum only form adhesive knobs.

Located about a degree south of the Tropic of Cancer, Kaohsiung has a tropical savanna climate (Köppen Aw), with monthly mean temperatures between and relative humidity ranging between 71 and 81%. Kaohsiung's warm climate is very much dictated by its low latitude and its exposure to warm sea temperatures year-round, with the Kuroshio Current passing by the coast of southern Taiwan, and the Central Mountain Range on the northeast blocking out the cool northeastern winds during the winter. The city, therefore, has a noticeably warmer climate than nearby cities located at similar latitudes such as Hong Kong, Guangzhou as well as various cities further south in northern Vietnam, such as Hanoi. Although the climate is classified as tropical, Kaohsiung has a defined cooler season unlike most other cities in Asia classified with this climate but located closer to the equator such as Singapore or Manila.

The United Nations' International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities (ISIC) scheme (revision 4) classifies both chocolate and sugar confectionery as ISIC 1073, which includes the manufacture of chocolate and chocolate confectionery; sugar confectionery proper (caramels, cachous, nougats, fondant, white chocolate), chewing gum, preserving fruit, nuts, fruit peels, and making confectionery lozenges and pastilles. In the European Union, the Statistical Classification of Economic Activities in the European Community (NACE) scheme (revision 2) matches the UN classification, under code number 10.82. In the United States, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS 2012) splits sugar confectionery across three categories: National industry code 311340 for all non-chocolate confectionery manufacturing, 311351 for chocolate and confectionery manufacturing from cacao beans, and national industry 311352 for confectionery manufacturing from purchased chocolate. Ice cream and sorbet are classified with dairy products under ISIC 1050, NACE 10.52, and NAICS 311520.

This is an F-type main-sequence star classified with a spectral type of F8V. It has an estimated mass of 1.23 times the solar mass and a radius of 1.20 times the solar radius. Its photosphere is shining with 1.95 times the solar luminosity at an effective temperature of 6,220 K. Its metallicity, the abundance of elements other than hydrogen and helium, is high, with 162% the solar iron abundance, following the trend that stars with giant planets are more metal-rich. With an estimated age of 1.2 billion years, HD 179949 is a chromospherically active star and has a complex magnetic field with a maximum strength of 10 G. Like the Sun, this star has differential rotation, with the equatorial region having a faster rotation period, of 7.62 ± 0.07 days, compared to a rotation period of 10.3 ± 0.8 days in the poles.

Although some locomotive types differed, in general they were similar, and those built by Mantetsu's factories were the same. As a result, from October 1933 the National Railway's locomotives were classified according to the Mantetsu classification system. Conversely, passenger carriages differed significantly from those of Mantetsu, and there were many designs of which there were only a very few examples, or even only a single example. As a result, these miscellaneous types ended up being assigned class designations with "9" (e.g. Ha9, ハ9), or were classified with the old railway company's name plus the type designation, e.g. 瀋海ロネ1, Shenhai RoNe1; gradually, these types were scrapped. With the acquisition of the North Manchuria Railway in 1935, equipment differences became much more marked. This was because the NMR was built to Russian broad gauge, and the equipment conformed to that standard; these were referred to as "broad vehicles" (広軌車輛) by the National Railway.

AZ Phoenicis is a Delta Scuti variable that pulsates with a single period of 79.3 minutes, causing its visual brightness to vary with an amplitude of 0.015 magnitudes. Its variability was discovered by Werner Weiss in 1977, from observations with the 50-cm telescope at La Silla Observatory. AZ Phoenicis has also been classified as a possible Ap star, which remains uncertain, even though the star has a large concentration of metals; the overall metallicity of the star has been measured to about 3 times the solar metallicity. This star is classified with a spectral type of A9/F0III, corresponding to a giant of type A or F. With an estimated radius of 2.7 times the solar radius, it is shining with 19 times the solar luminosity at an effective temperature of 7,280 K. The astrometric observations by the Hipparcos spacecraft detected a significant acceleration in the proper motion of AZ Phoenicis, indicating it is an astrometric binary.

The A74 south of Beattock Summit in February 1969 In 1916, Telford's original metal bridge was replaced by a modern concrete structure at a cost of £16,000. A small section of the original bridge was housed in Tullie House Museum in Carlisle. Roads started to be classified with route numbers in 1921, with the Glasgow – Carlisle road receiving the number A74, mostly following the route as designed by Telford. On 16 May 1936, the road was diverted away from Telford's route to run from Glasgow to Motherwell via Uddingston — it is a portion of this realignment that forms the modern A74 route within Glasgow. It became a trunk road when the act was first published in 1936. A contemporary report also suggested renumbering the entire A74, along with the A82 as an extension of the A6 to Inverness, matching the London — Carlisle — Glasgow — Inverness trunk road as used in internal Ministry of Transport documentation, but this was rejected as the cost of replacing signs would be prohibitively expensive.

All of the other main contenders remained in contention at the end of the first circuit with the exception of Lucky Vane who had been pulled up after breaking down jumping Valentine's Brook. Corbiere had been the most prominent of the favourites on the first circuit but West Tip seemed to be cantering and moved up to dispute the lead as the field came to Becher's Brook for the second time only to crumple on landing and fall. Rupertino, Corbiere and Last Suspect led Greasepaint over the Canal Turn with Mr Snugfit and Classified both still in contention while Drumlargen had stopped at the fence before Becher's and Fethered Friend was tailed off. At the third last fence Corbiere held a two length lead over Greasepaint, Last Suspect, Mr Snugfit, Rupertino and Classified with Scot Lane and Glenfox still in contention but by the penultimate flight Mr Snugfit had moved up to take the lead and looked assured of victory at the final fence with Corbiere, Greasepaint, Last Suspect and Classified all labouring behind him.

Australian Bureau of Statistics "Western Australian Year Book, 1997" In the southern part of the state the bulk of rainfall comes from west to east moving cold frontal low pressure depressions, originating off the edge of the winter pack-ice in the Southern Ocean, south of South Africa. Cold southern airflows, wedging beneath humid north westerly winds triggers vertical instabilities, bringing this region the bulk of its rain between May and August. During the summer months these frontal depressions travel well to the south, leading to warm high pressure systems dominating the southern part of the state. As a result, the state is classified with five climates in the Köppen climate classifications, ranging from Aw Tropical wet-dry climates in the Kimberley region of the state, through BSh Semiarid (summer rainfall) to the south of the Kimberley, BW Arid climates, covering the Great Sandy Desert, Central Australian Desert, Gibson Desert and the Great Victoria Desert, BSh Semiarid (winter rainfall), from Shark Bay to the Nullabor, and then a Csa Mediterranean climate from Northampton to Esperance and covering the Southwest of the state.
