In 2006, Hollyman moved from New York to Austin, Texas to be closer to his family. Hollyman's last photography show, entitled "Chromes", was held in Austin, Texas. Hollyman died in 2009. He was survived by his son Burnes St.Patrick Hollyman; his daughter Stephenie, also a photographer; and three grandchildren: Anna-Margaret, Helen and Mary Louise.

Though Kayla invited Hannah to come with her Hannah stays on an extra day, finally leaving after witnessing one of the Path councillors destroying the doll of a woman who is to be released causing her emotional distress. Outside Hannah visits her sister but is kicked out by her brother-in-law, whom her sister warns her has become increasingly violent after joining the vigilante terror cell known as the "Fist" who beat and kill chromes. Hannah is then able to contact Kayla through a tracker that all chromes are forced to wear. They decide to leave Texas and go stay with Kayla's cousin, but on the road they are abducted by Simone and Paul, two people who turn out to have been saving them from Fist members intending to harm them.

Ikons were originally painted on the walls of the Saura's adobe huts. The paintings' backdrop is prepared from red or yellow ochre earth which is then painted over using brushes fashioned from tender bamboo shoots. Ekons use natural dyes and chromes derived from ground white stone, hued earth, and vermilion and mixtures of tamarind seed, flower and leaf extracts. Ikons are worshipped during special religious and cultural occasions such as child-birth, harvest, marriage and the construction of a new house.

The ordinary pigments are white lead, zinc white, umbers, siennas, ochres, chromes, Venetian red, Indian red, lampblack, bone black, vegetable black, ultramarine, Prussian blue, vermilion, red lead, oxide of iron, lakes and Vandyke brown. The term enamel paint was first given to a compound of zinc white, petrol and resin, which possessed on drying a hard glossy surface. The name is now applied to any colored paint of this nature. Quick-drying enamels are spirit varnishes ground with the desired pigment.

Remanence and squareness of the three groups substantially differ, while coercivity remains almost unchanged at around ( for the IEC reference tape approved in 1979). Quality Type I cassettes have higher midrange MOL than most Type II tapes, slow and gentle MOL roll-off at low frequencies, but less treble headroom than Type II. In practice that means that ferric tapes have lower fidelity compared to chromes and metals at high frequencies, but are often better at reproducing the low frequencies found bass-heavy music.

Owing to very 'clean', uniform shape of the particles, chrome tapes easily attain almost perfect squareness ratio of 0.90. 'True chromes', not modified by addition of ferric additives or coatings, have very low and euphonic hiss (bias noise), and very low modulation noise at treble frequencies. Double-layer CrO2 cassettes have the lowest absolute noise among all audio formulations; these cassettes generate less noise at than a ferric tape at . Sensitivity is usually also very high, but MOL is low, on par with basic Type I tapes.

As usual in Ostertag's pictures, the furniture was of correct design. Another calendar that took like wildfire displayed in a harmony of greens and chromes a small Velasquez-like princess with spreading hoop and parrot on fist. Still another shows a pale boy dreaming by the side of a lily-covered pond while his mother reads a book; on one of the lily-pads a palpable fairyland creature has appeared, a fat frog wearing a golden crown. This is a symphony in sunny green and lemon yellow, with touches of faint lilac in the flowers and the mother's gown.

Plutonic Lab began drumming at the age of 10 and performing shows at 14. He obtained an honours degree in Sound Design/Media Arts from RMIT University, studying under Australian film composer/artist Philip Brophy and sound artist Phillip Samartzis. In 1995 he produced the album "Mystery Shkool" for his group Macronauts on CD and Cassette & two beat tapes, Tri Chromes and M.O.S., in 1998 under his own label, Plutonic Lovely. In 2001, he released his first solo album, Give Me Sabotage Shell, followed by Collision of Days in 2004, both released on Nuff Said Records.

A scene from the original flash animation for "Okkusenman!" featuring the subject of the song as an adult while a caricature of Ultraman plays on the TV in the background. The first posting of "Omoide wa Okkusenman!" with vocals by an individual known as Gom occurred on YouTube on February 19, 2007. The earliest postings of the song on Nico Nico Douga were on March 6, 2007, and sung by an individual (or group) known as "CHROMES", followed by Gomu's minutes later. While the original videos feature scenes taken from the Rockman 2 video game, an original flash animation of the song was made by an individual known as was uploaded on May 27, 2007, to Nico Nico Douga.

Japanese manufacturer Akai, however, persisted with cross-field bias and successfully marketed portable and mains- operated machines featuring the cross-field system. Different amplitudes of bias field are optimal for different types of tape, so most recorders offer a bias setting switch on the control panel, or, in the case of the compact audio cassette, may switch automatically according to cutouts on the cassette shell. Ferric-based tapes require the lowest bias field, while chrome-based tapes (including the pseudo-chromes) requiring a higher level, and metal-particle tapes requires even more. Metal-evaporated tape accepts the highest level of bias, but it is mostly used for digital recording (which does not use bias, as the non-linearity is not a major problem).

Icon: Barbara Nessim. Using manuals to teach herself to navigate the complicated programs, she became proficient at creating computer art and assembled an impressive body of digital work. Since then Nessim has used the computer in her work as an artist, illustrator, teacher, and innovator. Digital technology has provided new ways to create and exhibit her work, including “35mm slides, CIBA-chromes, videos, early non- archival inkjet prints, Polaroid, as well as pastel hand-colored tiled larger artworks, 3-D Stereo-pair works, very large modular works hand-painted with acrylics, unique archival inkjet prints printed on canvas, and ‘randomly’ moving software art shown on a wall-mounted monitor.” Her 1991 Random Access Memories (RAM) show at the Rempire Gallery in NYC had, as part of the larger exhibition, an installation where the participants could produce and take away their own unique catalog of Nessim's work.
