Unlike the President's Cup, the tournament as a reinforced conference allows each of the participating teams to field a single foreign import. The conference will feature at least five legs with a Super Quest tournament possibly to be held as the sixth leg. The conference is set to commence on June 16, 2019 with the first leg scheduled be held in Cebu.

In the present he is the commissioner of Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 He was part of the Philippine national team that played at the 1986 Asian Games. He is the head coach of the National University Bulldogs from 2011 to 2016.

In 2015, the Sinag Pilipinas program was renamed into as the "Gilas Cadets". In May 2018, Gerald Anderson joined the Marikina Shoemasters in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League. He also played for the team at the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3, a three-on-three basketball league, debuting in the third tour of the 2019 President's Cup helping the team win their first game in the conference. They won over the 1Bataan Risers but was not able to clinch a win for the remaining of the third tour.

In September 2017, the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas began the process of including Austin in their men's national basketball team, to be considered as a naturalized player in the future. He suited up as an import for Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas, the national team competing as a club, at the 2017 FIBA Asia Champions Cup. They finished the tournament in fifth place, with Austin recording 37 points, 15 rebounds, six assists and six blocks in their final game of the tournament.

Mike Kubat is a Canadian television writer and story editor. He has worked on such animated series as Mickey and the Roadster Racers, Atomic Betty, Chop Socky Chooks, and Ed, Edd n Eddy. In 2005, he received a Leo Award nomination for Best Screenwriter in an Animation Program or Series for the Atomic Betty episode "Spindly Tam Kanushu". Kubat originally started out wanting to be in a rock band, later becoming an accountant, and finally settling comfortably in his career writing for animation.

For the President's Cup, a financial incentive for teams that will face Family's Brand Sardines-Zamboanga City Chooks, which consist of players of the Philippine national team, in the finals of each leg as preparation of the national team for the 2020 Summer Olympics qualifiers, although Zamboanga City will still have to earn a place in finals in all legs.

The event was an initiative of the Cebu Provincial Sports Commission and commercial basketball coach Van Halen Parmis. Chooks-to-Go and the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas selected the Sisters of Mary Schools as the venue of the event.

On April 23, 2017, Mono Vampire of Thailand qualified to the main tournament by being the champion of TBSL (Thailand Basketball Super League). Singapore Slingers, who was the runner-up in the ASEAN Basketball League in 2017, was supposed to play in the tournament, but apparently withdrew due to the 2017 Southeast Asian Games. Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas were given a wildcard slot on September 5, as a replacement to Japan's SunRockers Shibuya. The Manok ng Bayan-SBP 3X3, a basketball youth tournament for boys and girls was held in Cebu as the official kickoff event of the 2019 Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 season. The event was an attempt to break the record for the biggest FIBA-sanctioned youth tournament by participants, as well as to accumulate FIBA Federation Ranking points for the Philippines in order for the country to gain enough points to qualify to send a team to the 3x3 event at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

A longstanding game show segment, "Chook Lotto" (or Chooklotto) involved a large barrel of numbered frozen chickens, or "chooks", and was a parody of Tattslotto, one of the National Lottery Draws of Australia. Manok ng Bayan-SBP 3X3 was a 3x3 basketball youth tournament organized for boys and girls in Cebu, Philippines held from January 12 to 13, 2019. It was organized by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas, the Cebu Provincial Sports Commission, and Bounty Agro Ventures, the company responsible for the Chooks- to-Go roast chicken brand and was sanctioned by FIBA. The boys' tournament held the record of the biggest FIBA sanctioned youth tournament at 1,114 participants, with the girls' tournament shortly breaking it with 1,656 participants. The event overall had 3,036 participants making it the largest FIBA-sanctioned tournament ever.

Chop Socky Chooks is a British-Canadian computer-animated series produced by Aardman Animations, Decode Entertainment, and Cartoon Network Europe that ran on Cartoon Network from 7 March 2008 until 24 July 2009. It was created and directed by Sergio Delfino, a prominent animator at Sony Pictures Imageworks. The show previously aired in Eastern Europe on Cartoon Network, in the United States on Cartoon Network and in Canada on Teletoon. The name is from "chop socky", which is slang for the Asian martial arts film genre, and "chook", which is an Australian and New Zealand slang reference for a chicken.

The previous holder had 1,898 participants. However this is still to be verified by FIBA with the organizers to send documentations to the world basketball body so the record be confirmed and the Federation Ranking points earned be granted.

The 2018 Filoil Flying V Preseason Premier Cup (also known as Hanes Presents 2018 Chooks-to-Go Filoil Flying V Preseason Premier Cup for sponsorship reasons) is the thirteenth preseason high school and collegiate basketball tournament organized by Filoil Flying V Sports. All 8 teams from the UAAP and 10 teams from the NCAA, together with the 23-man Gilas Pilipinas pool for the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup to be hosted by the Philippines will be competed in the senior's tournament. This is the first season to be broadcast on ESPN 5, after ending its 10-year relationship with ABS-CBN Sports which was concluded following the 2016 edition of the cup.

Early in the 1980s Pierson, was inspired to delve into the relatively untapped comedy market after meeting Englishman Roy Nicolson in 1982, who was the songwriter for Toto Coelo's "I Eat Cannibals", which reached No. 4 on the Australian singles charts and No. 2 on the New Zealand singles charts. Nicolson had begun experimenting with animal sounds on an E-mu Emulator I, an early sampler. Pierson jokingly asked him if he could play "Paperback Writer" using dogs barking. He did and soon Pierson had commissioned him to create a parody album of popular Beatles songs with dogs plus a backing chorus of cows, sheep and chooks backed by anonymous backing musicians from Germany.

They won the overall title of the first conference of the league, the President's Cup and won a berth to become one of the Philippines' representative teams at the 2019 FIBA 3x3 World Tour Masters in Doha, Qatar. Pasig along the 1Bataan Risers also qualified for the inaugural 2019 FIBA Asia-Pacific Super Quest to be hosted in the Philippines on account of their overall performance in the conference. At the 2019 FIBA Asia-Pacific Super Quest, they finished third place, losing to eventual champions Tokyo Dime.

Following the introduction of the 2000 class railcars in 1980, two 300 class Redhens and an 860 class trailer were chosen for an experimental rebuild at STA's Regency Park workshops. Nos 300, 337 and 862 were modified in 1983 with new interiors, elevated cabs and stainless steel panelling similar to the 2000 class. When 3x3 was held at the 2007 Asian Indoor Games as a demonstration sports the Philippine national team finished fourth with Hong Kong defeating them in the third place play-off. Luigi Trillo was the coach that guided national team composing of Nico Salva, Ryan Buenafe, Arvie Bringas and Clark Bautista, in the games. The Philippines also participated in the 2010 Youth Summer Olympics in Singapore, the first edition of the Youth Olympics where 3x3 is among the sports contested. The national team finished ninth. By the virtue of the Philippines' FIBA 3x3 Federation Ranking, the national team qualified for the 2016 FIBA 3x3 World Championships and made their debut in the tournament. They lost 2 and win 2 of their four matches. The national team played their second stint in the world championships, now renamed as the FIBA 3x3 World Cup in 2018 which was hosted at home in Bocaue. This time the Philippine national team composed of professional players and Bounty Agro Ventures, the owners of Chooks-to-Go and sponsor of the national team and tournament, pledged unspecified monetary reward for the Philippine national team for each game won.
