Chessman teamed up with Tiffany to win the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship on September 16, 2003 from Chessman's former tag team partner Electroshock and Lady Apache. The team held the Mixed titles until Gran Apache and Faby Apache defeated them for the titles on August 1, 2004, after which Chessman stopped teaming with Tiffany. Muerta Cibernetica, like Cibernético two years later, was himself unmasked by La Parka at Triplemania XIV. After holding the Atómicos titles for 789 days, the Black Family lost to the Mexican Powers (Crazy Boy, Juventud Guerrera, Joe Líder and Psicosis II) on October 18, 2006.
Teddy Hart was the next wrestler to escape, leaving the cage only moments after Cien Caras returned to ringside with the key. La Hermandad tried to stop Caras, but he was able to hand the key to Joaquin Roldan who then freed La Parka. Chessman was the next wrestler to escape, which combined with Konnan coming to ringside meant that La Legión was able to outnumber the wrestlers outside the cage. As La Hermandad and Chessman fought with Octagón and Vampiro Jack Evans climbed up the cage and then leapt off the top with a spectacular somersault splash that knocked everyone down.
D'Angelo Dinero The opening match of Guerra de Titanes featured the AAA Mini-Estrellas, with Mascarita Divina, Mascarita Dorada and Octagóncito taking on Mini Chessman, Mini Histeria and Mini Psicosis. The técnico team won the match, after Mascarita Divina and Octagóncito took out Mini Histeria and Mini Chessman with suicide dives, after which Mascarita Dorada pinned AAA World Mini-Estrella Champion Mini Psicosis with a double springboard moonsault. After the match, Octagóncito took the house microphone and announced how ashamed he was Octagón recent behaviour. This led to Octagón coming out, confronting and eventually attacking his mini version.
No. 4833 (December 29, 1948) Walker's father was a Los Angeles County flood control engineer, and his uncle Herbert V. Walker was a prominent Los Angeles lawyer and Chief Deputy District Attorney. Herbert Walker would later become a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge in the 1950s. Walker graduated from the Hoover School and attended the California Institute of Technology for one year, excelling in electronics and radio engineering.
After the match Cibernético saved El Mesías from a La Legión attack, enforcing El Mesias status as a tecnico. In the fifth match of the night Cibernético defended the AAA Mega Championship against former teammate Chessman and La Legión deputy leader El Zorro in a Three way Street Fight, a match with no rules. The match saw all three wrestlers use various objects such as chairs and tables and also saw interference from La Legión, drawing blood from all participants. In the end Cibernético retained the title by pinning El Zorro while Chessman was incapacitated from missing a move off the top rope.
Averno during a match On May 17, 2014, Averno made his debut for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), joining the rudo stable La Sociedad. In a main event six-man tag team match, Averno teamed with Chessman and Pentagón Jr. to defeat Cibernético, Fénix and Psycho Clown, pinning Fénix for the win. After the match, Averno was attacked by an unnamed "mysterious wrestler", portrayed by his old rival Místico. On September 26, Averno and Chessman came together with Cibernético to reform the Los Hell Brothers stable, with Averno replacing former member Charly Manson for this incarnation of Los Hell Brothers.
Early on in the stable's lifetime Charly Manson suffered a grave injury after falling from a ladder during a match which put Manson out of wrestling for a long period. The Black Family brought in Chessman to be the fourth member. Around the time of Chessman joining the Black Family became part of Lucha Libre Latina (LLL), the Mexican version of the New World Order, a group led by Chessman's long-time friend Cibernético. Even though they were part of a much larger group the four men still worked as a unit, a stable within the stable.
They made their first appearance at a major AAA show on March 16, 2008 when they defeated The Black Family (Dark Cuervo, Dark Ozz and Dark Escoria) on the 2008 Rey de Reyes event. Over the next year Los Psycho Circus defeated such teams as the tecnico team of El Ángel, Super Porky (Psycho Clown's father) and El Alebrije as well as the rudo team La Legión Extranjera (Kenzo Suzuki, Jack Evans and Teddy Hart) while remaining undefeated. Los Psycho Circus developed a rivalry with The Dark Family, teaming with Chessman to even the sides between the two teams. On January 18, 2009 Los Psycho Circus and Chessman defeated The Dark Family (Dark Cuervo, Dark Escoria, Dark Espiritu and Dark Ozz) to win the Mexican National Atómicos Championship. The team's run with the Atómicos titles ended after just 8 days when AAA Commissioner Vampiro stripped Chessman and Los Psycho Circus of the titles because they had attacked him during a show the night before.

On May 19 at Noche de Campeones, Guerrera defeated Jack Evans, Psicosis and Teddy Hart in a four-way hardcore match to win the AAA Cruiserweight Championship. On August 5 at Triplemanía XX, Guerrera teamed with Chessman for one night to take part in a Parejas Suicidas steel cage match.
On November 30, it was announced that Dorada would wrestle his return match at Guerra de Titanes, teaming with Mascarita Divina and Octagóncito against AAA World Mini-Estrella Champion Mini Psicosis, Mini Chessman and Mini Histeria in a six man tag team match.
When El Mesías returned to active competition tension began to build between the Black Family and El Mesías. The tensions culminated after El Mesías lost a Steel Cage "Street Fight" Match to Vampiro at Verano de Escandalo (2008) which led to the Black Family attacking El Mesías officially severing their relationship. After breaking up La Secta del Mesías the group began to feud with El Mesías. During the fall and winter of 2008 both Charly Manson and Chessman made hints at them possibly returning to the Black Family but Manson got injured and taken off TV while Chessman turned on the group after feinting friendship.
The segment ended with Los Bizarros tying Parka to a wooden cross. The following match saw TNA worker Abyss facing La Sociedad stablemate Chessman and AAA's Extreme Tiger and Joe Líder in his specialty match, the Monster's Ball. At the end of the match, Nicho el Millonario, Líder's longtime tag team partner with whom he had held the AAA World Tag Team Championship for 551 days and who had turned on him in the aftermath of Triplemanía XIX, entered the ring and attacked his former partner with a chair, before slamming him through a burning table. Chessman took advantage of the opportunity and pinned Líder to win the match.
As a result of the win Konnan became the storyline owner of AAA. In the third main event of the evening Cibernético successfully defended the AAA Mega Championship against Chessman and El Zorro. The event has since been retrospectively renamed Héroes Inmortales II ("Immortal Heroes II").
This person was later revealed as La Sociedad member Chessman, whom Konnan had sent to interfere in the match in order to have Park go after El Zorro instead of continuing to chase his stablemate's title. El Zorro continued representing AAA in matches against La Sociedad throughout 2012.
He was unable to grant Chessman executive clemency as the California Constitution required the commutation of a two-time felon's death sentence to be ratified by the California Supreme Court, which declined ratification by a vote of 4-3. After a long period of inaction Brown finally issued a 60-day stay a few hours before the February 19, 1960 scheduled execution. He issued the stay, he said, out of concern that the execution could threaten the safety of President Dwight D. Eisenhower during an official visit to South America, where the Chessman case had inflamed anti-American sentiment.Obituary: R. Richard Rubottom, New York Times, December 20, 2010; accessed June 2, 2014.
Three months later the team defeated Mini Psicosis, Mini Abismo Negro and Rocky Marvin on the undercard of Verano de Escandalo. At Triplemanía XIV La Parkita, Mascarita Sagrada, and Octagóncito defeated Jerrito Estrada, Mini Abismo Negro, and Mini Chessman when Octagóncito pinned Jerrito Estrada, Mascarita Sagrada pinned Mini Abismo Negro, and La Parkita pinned Mini Chessman at the same time. In the summer of 2008 AAA decided to create the AAA World Mini-Estrellas Championship after the reigning Mexican National Mini-Estrellas Champion Mascarita Sagrada left AAA, taking the championship belt with him. On July 20, 2009 La Parkita was defeated by Mini Abismo Negro in the opening round of the Mini-Estrella championship tournament.
After the match, Park attacked El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., unmasking him and placing his mask over his own head. The attack led to Wagner Jr. accepting to defend the AAA Latin American Championship against Park at Guerra de Titanes, with his son in his corner. A.J. Styles After losing the AAA World Tag Team Championship to La Sociedad members Abyss and Chessman on October 9 at Héroes Inmortales, AAA Cruiserweight Champion Jack Evans came back on November 14, picking up one of his biggest wins in AAA by cleanly pinning Los Perros del Mal leader El Hijo del Perro Aguayo in a tag team match, where he teamed with El Mesías and Aguayo teamed up with Chessman.
The Black Family was created in 2000 when Charly Manson, Chessman Escoria and Cuervo were teamed up to form a rudo (Heel or "bad guy") group that shared a Goth-inspired look, reflected in their ring clothes and painted faces. In 2001 the masked wrestler Path Finder was repackaged as Ozz and joined the Black Family following a career threatening injury to Charly Manson that forced him out of the ring for several months. In late 2001 Charly Manson returned while still not fully recovered, and began a war of words with the Black Family as Chessman had taken over his leadership role in Manson's absence. The storyline did not develop further as Manson left AAA altogether.
During the match Mascarita Divina was seemingly injured as he had to be helped from the ring after the match. At Triplemanía XVIII Octagoncito outlasted eight other wrestlers (La Parkita and Mini Chessman were late additions to the match) in the TLC match to become the new AAA Mini-Estrellas Champion.
At Centro de Convenciones de Ciudad Madero for the annual Guerra de Titanes event, they participated in and lost a four-way extreme dance for the AAA World Tag Team Championship in a match against champions Crazy Boy and Joe Lider, Charly Manson and Chessman, and Extreme Tiger and Halloween.
Averno and Chessman then paired up with Ricky Marvin to form a new trio named OGT, winning the AAA World Trios Championship on November 4. They lost the title to El Apache, Faby Apache and Mary Apache on March 5, 2017, when Marvin was defeated by Faby in a singles match.
When Heavy Metal tried to climb out of the cage Hijo del Tirantes hit him with a chair to stop him from leaving the cage. Afterwards Chessman recovered enough to drag himself out of the ring, winning the match for his team. After the match El Pierro had all his hair shaved off.
The ferries were sold at auction on August 12, 1966. The U.S. Navy bought M.R. Chessman for $300,000, and transferred the vessel to Vietnam. The Navy had originally intended to use the vessel as a ferry on the Mekong River. The vessel was employed as a machine shop for river patrol craft.Evergreenfleet.
In the second match of the pay-per-view, Electroshock, Heavy Metal and Joe Líder faced La Maniarquía, consisting of Chessman, Último Gladiador and Silver King, who in Mexico City is forced to wrestle under the ring name Silver Cain as a way of being able to wear his mask, in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. La Maniarquía was accompanied to the ring by their mascot Maniaquito and their La Sociedad stablemate, AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champion Jennifer Blake, while Heavy Metal was accompanied by his valet Nanyzh Rock, midget companion Lokillo and musician Charly Montana. While every one of them followed the earlier agreement between Joaquin Roldán and Konnan and did not interfere in the match, Joe Líder's partner Nicho el Millonario, seeking revenge on La Maniarquía, ran in and tried to replace Heavy Metal, who had been taken out of the match by Chessman, which led to Roldán coming out with security and having them remove Nicho from the arena. Soon afterwards, Heavy Metal returned to the match and threw Último Gladiador from the top rope through a cello, given to him by Montana, while Electroshock superbombed Chessman through a table.
The law was repealed by the time his trial began but was in effect at the time of the crimes; the repeal was not applied retroactively. Chessman asserted his innocence from the outset, arguing throughout the trial and the appeals process that he was alternately the victim of mistaken identity, or of a conspiracy to frame him. (He claimed to know the identity of the real perpetrator, but refused to reveal it.) He further alleged that the confession he signed during his initial police interrogation was coerced through force and intimidation. Over the course of nearly twelve years on death row Chessman filed dozens of appeals, acting as his own attorney, and successfully avoided eight execution deadlines, often by a few hours.
Rodota's first book, THE WATERGATE: Inside America's Most Infamous Address, was published in 2018 by William Morrow. The book, the first comprehensive history of the iconic Watergate Complex in Washington, D.C., revealed new information about the origins of the Watergate name; the demise of the Watergate developer, Societa Generale Immobiliare; and Ronald Reagan’s investment in the complex, as a shareholder in a Real Estate Investment Trust that was acquired in 1979 by the pension funds of the British Coal Board. THE WATERGATE was selected as a book of the month by the Wall Street Journal. Hart made his AAA debut on November 20, 2007 in an Extreme Four Way tag team Ladder Match, where he teamed with Sabu against Crazy Boy and Joe Líder, Charly Manson and Chessman, Extreme Tiger and Halloween for the AAA World Tag Team Championship at Guerra de Titantes. Soon after joining, Hart joined Konnan's heel stable Legión Extranjera (Foreign Legion), where he regularly teams with Evans as The Hart Foundation 2.0. Part of his villainous character is that he cannot speak Spanish and during his promos, AAA captions his remarks in Spanish. On March 16, 2008, Hart lost a $2500 Ladder Battle Royal Match to Xtreme Tiger, which also included Chessman, Juventud Guerrera, Halloween and Joe Líder at Rey de Reyes.
Muerta Cibernetica was himself unmasked by La Parka 2 years after Cibernético was unmasked. After holding the Atómicos titles for 789 days the Black Family lost to the Mexican Powers (Crazy Boy, Juventud Guerrera, Joe Lider and Psicosis II) on October 18, 2006. Not long after they lost the tag team titles Chessman turned "Technicó" and sided with Cibernético and Charly Manson to form "Los Hell Brothers" fighting against La Secta, now known as "La Secta del Mesias" as Muerta Cibernetica changed his name to "EL Mesias". With Chessman out of the Black Family the team invited Espíritu to leave Los Vatos Locos and join them, the invitation was accepted without any friction from the rest of Los Vatos Locos.

On November 18, 2006 Cibernético returned from his knee injury and founded a new stable, Los Hell Brothers, consisting of himself, Charly Manson and Chessman, as Manson and Chessman had been the only two loyal enough to leave La Secta when Muerta Cibernetica took control of it. The three instantly became the top técnico group in AAA as they waged war with La Secta del Mesias (as it had been renamed) and the newly formed La Legión Extranjera, a faction of non-Mexican talent led by Konnan. In late 2007 Charly Manson won the first ever Copa Antonio Peña, a 13-man Gauntlet style tournament held during the first ever Antonio Peña Memorial Show. Manson defeated Alan Stone, Scott Hall and Konnan to claim the cup.

In some states, if the victim was physically harmed in any manner, the crime qualified for capital punishment. This was what occurred in the Caryl Chessman case in California. Following the April 8, 1968 decision by the United States Supreme Court in United States v. Jackson, kidnapping alone no longer constitutes a capital offense.

On the September 10 edition of AAA's Sin Límite television program, the person who interfered in the AAA Mega Championship match dressed as El Zorro was revealed as La Sociedad member Chessman. Konnan's plan was to send L.A. Park on a "wild-goose chase" after El Zorro instead of continuing to chase his stablemate Jeff Jarrett's title.
However, both Guerrera and Chessman managed to escape the cage and avoid having to face each other in a Hair vs. Hair match. On December 2 at Guerra de Titanes, Guerrera lost the AAA Cruiserweight Championship to Daga in a six-way ladder match. Guerrera returned to AAA on August 30, 2013, joining the recently reformed Mexican Powers stable.

On May 17, Urive made another appearance, during which he was referred to only as a "mysterious wrestler", attacking La Sociedad and targeting especially his old rival Averno, who was making his AAA debut. On May 28, AAA revealed promotional material, which suggested Urive would be returning to the Místico ring name, however, on June 5, the promotion revealed his new ring name as Myzteziz. The ring name is exclusive to AAA and Urive will continue to work as Sin Cara outside of the promotion. Myzteziz made his in-ring debut on June 7 at Verano de Escándalo, where he, Cibernético and La Parka defeated Averno, Chessman and El Hijo del Perro Aguayo in a six- man tag team main event, with Myzteziz submitting the AAA Latin American Champion Chessman for the win.
Despite his elimination, Hernandez stayed at ringside and in the end cost Corleone the match against Legión member Chessman. Hernandez then began portraying an anti-Mexican character, refusing to speak or even acknowledge he could understand Spanish and doing his interviews through an interpreter. On June 6 at Triplemanía XVIII Hernandez and fellow Legión members Alex Koslov and Chessman represented referee Hijo del Tirantes in a six-man tag team steel cage match, where they defeated Heavy Metal, Octagón and Pimpinela Escarlata, representing referee Pierro, with the hair of the referees on the line. After Chessman and Konnan won the match the rest of La Legión came to the ring to beat down El Mesias, teasing that Chessman may have joined La Legión Extranjera but not confirming it. Another non-tournament match on the card was originally billed as "Radical Hell Brothers" and was supposed to feature Charly Manson and El Zorro facing off in a tag team partner where each wrestler had a "Surprise partner" that would not be announced until the time of the match. Charly Manson recently returned from an injury that forced him to sit out for 10 months and immediately came to the rescue of the AAA fan favorites when La Legión Extranjera attacked them. Three days later at another television taping Manson made his in ring return, teaming with Latin Lover and X-Pac to defeat Konnan, Electroshock and El Zorro.
Psicosis, realizing he was in danger of being forced to a Hair vs. Hair match, climbed up the cage and put his hand out to Líder, offering to help him up. Líder grabbed the hand and started to climb, but was dropped to the mat following a kick from Chessman, who then climbed to the top of the opposite side of the cage to become the last escapee, meaning that the former La Hermandad 187 partners were forced to a Lucha de Apustas later in the event. As Chessman celebrated at the top of the cage, the lights in the arena suddenly went out, leading to Vampiro making a surprise appearance and pushing his rival down from the top of the cage, dropping him through a set of tables on the floor of the Arena Ciudad de México.

The final match saw AAA's main tecnico (Face or good guy) group, Los Hell Brothers (Cibernético, Charly Manson and Chessman) face off against Mushiking Terry, Naomichi Marufuji and Ricky Marvin. After approximately 16 minutes of wrestling Antifaz and Histeria interfered in the match, causing a "no contest". After the match both teams beat up Antifaz and Histeria and then celebrated together at close of the show.
"Counsel for the Defense Was on Trial Too". The New York Times. p. 283. At the time of the publication, Kunstler was already well known for his work with the Freedom Riders, his book on the Caryl Chessman case, and his radio coverage of trials. Abyss made an appearance at the same tapings, teaming with Chessman and Último Gladiador to face Joe Líder and AAA World Tag Team Champions Extreme Tiger and Jack Evans in a six man tag team match. Abyss won the match by pinning Líder after Black Hole Slamming him onto a pile of thumbtacks and afterwards also slammed Tiger onto them. On July 20, AAA announced that at Verano de Escándalo Abyss, Chessman, Extreme Tiger and Joe Líder would compete in a Monster's Ball match, Abyss' signature match from TNA. Surprisingly, it was announced by not only AAA, but also by Ticketmaster a few days prior to the promotion's official announcement, that the match would be for the AAA Cruiserweight Championship, despite the fact that Abyss was over the cruiserweight weight limit and that, up until the announcement, Jack Evans was the reigning Cruiserweight Champion.
Following Dr. Wagner, Jr.'s AAA Mega Championship victory at Triplemania XVII, a group composed of Dr. Wagner, Jr., Silver King, Último Gladiador and Electroshock formed, taking the name Los Wagnermaniacos after the group leader Dr. Wagner, Jr.. At Heroes Inmortales III Charly Manson was scheduled to face Chessman in a Lucha de Apuesta match, but in the days leading up to the event Manson decided to leave AAA, leaving the main event of Heroes Inmortales III up in the air. On the night of the show Electroshock came out to take his brother's place in the match, losing to Chessman. After the match he had his head shaved completely bald, taking the loss that his brother was originally scheduled to take.
Los Hell Brothers subsequently made several successful title defenses and began bragging about how there were no challengers left for them to deal with, that "no man" could defeat them. In the spring of 2016 sisters-turned-rivals Mari Apache and Faby Apache reunited as Mari returned to the tecnico side and started to team up with her sister on a regular basis. The two teamed up with their former step- mother Lady Apache and won the women's version of the 2016 Lucha Libre World Cup. Around the time of the World Cup Mari and Faby Apache challenged Los Hell Brothers, demanding that they put the tag team championship on the line, a challenge that Averno and Chessman turned down, acting very dismissing and sexist in the process. During the July 8 AAA Television taping Averno and Chessman dressed up as a pair of frumpy women as they mocked Los Apaches.
In addition to growing organizations, the movement also profited from growing European abolishment of the death penalty and from the controversial executions of Barbara Graham and Caryl Chessman. Success mounted in the late 1950s as Alaska, Hawaii, and Delaware abolished capital punishment. Oregon and Iowa followed their leads in the 1960s. Many other states added laws that restricted the use of the death penalty except in cases of extreme serious offenses.
In addition, Los OGTs (Averno, Chessman and Super Fly) defeated El Nuevo Poder del Norte (Carta Brava Jr., Mocho Cota Jr. and Tito Santana) by winning their hair. On October 2, 2016, at Héroes Inmortales X, Monster and Murder Clown turned on Psycho Clown and formed a new partnership with his rival Pagano.
The scenes at the FBI Academy were shot at a lecture hall at UCLA. Spotnitz’s wife, Melissa, appears as one of the students in Scully’s class. Suzuki was part of the 2009 Rey de Reyes, losing to La Parka on March 15. After Triplemania XVII, Konnan's Legion Extranjera lost control of AAA; Konnan was suspended from Mexican wrestling for an indefinite time. At this time Legion Extranjera was dissolved leaving only Electroshock, Chessman, and Suzuki. Suzuki made an alliance with El Oriental and they formed their own team with Sugi San getting victories in their debut.
The impact broke his femur and gave him a hard blow to the head. The Femur had to be strengthened by a surgical steel plate. While there was no ongoing storyline at the time of the match being announced the four wrestlers were no strangers to each other, with them all facing off at Triplemanía XXII in a six-man steel cage match where the last man in the cage would be shaved bald. The mach also included Averno and Chessman and ended with El Mesias being the last to escape the cage, forcing Electroshock to have his hair shaved off. He later admitted that he had denied clemency in one death penalty case principally because the legislator who represented the district in which the murder occurred held a swing vote on farmworker legislation supported by Brown, and had told Brown that his district "would go up in smoke" if the governor commuted the man's sentence. In contrast, Governor Brown approved 36 executions, including the highly controversial cases of Caryl Chessman in 1960 and Elizabeth Duncan; she was the last female put to death before a national moratorium was instituted. Though he had supported the death penalty while serving as district attorney, as attorney general, and when first elected governor,Brown, Edmund (Pat) with Adler, Dick, Public Justice, Private Mercy: A Governor's Education on Death Row, New York: Weidenfeld & Nicolson, , (1989) he later became an opponent of it. During the Chessman case, Brown proposed that the death penalty be abolished, but the proposal failed.
After Escarlata submitted Stone with a modified figure-four leglock for the win, he was once again attacked by Nygma, Pasión Cristal and Polvo de Estrellas. This led to exotico Cassandro making a surprise return to AAA, after over a three-year absence, to chase the rudos away and save his former partner. Abyss, who was crowned one half of the new AAA World Tag Team Champions at the event In the third match, Extreme Tiger and Jack Evans defended the AAA World Tag Team Championship against La Legión Extranjera's and La Sociedad's Abyss and Chessman in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match, which could only be won by capturing the championship belts hung above the ring. Brown's stay of execution, along with Chessman's last appeals, ran out in April 1960, and Chessman finally went to the gas chamber at San Quentin Prison on May 2, twenty-five days before his 39th birthday. According to some sources, a last-minute attempt by a California Supreme Court justice to implement a new stay pending a habeas corpus motion failed when a court secretary misdialed the prison switchboard's phone number. By the time the call was received and routed to the execution chamber, the execution had already begun and could not be halted. During the execution Chessman vigorously nodded his head, a pre‑arranged signal to reporters that he was experiencing pain. The Encyclopedia of American Prisons by Carl Sifakis page 85; Retrieved January 22, 2016Gruesome Spectacles: Botched Executions and America's Death Penalty by Austin Sarat page 196 Retrieved January 19, 2016Debates in Criminal Justice: Key Themes and Issues edited by Tom Ellis, Stephen P. The hero of his later novel The Anvil Chorus, a Paris police inspector, is an Alsatian Jew apparently related to Alfred Dreyfus. Stevens also wrote two crime novels under the pseudonym J.W. Rider: Jersey Tomatoes (Arbor 1986) and Hot Tickets (Arbor 1987). The protagonist is Ryder Malone in both novels.

The feud reached its high point with a four-way Lucha de Apuestas match that included Shocker, Cibernético, Latin Lover and Chessman.

On September 16, Konnan rewarded Chessman by moving him back to La Legión Extrangera and naming him the group's new general, taking over the spot formerly held by El Zorro. In the process, Decnnis was also moved from La Milicia to Los Maniacos. Los Perros del Mal and Los Psycho Circus ended their year-long rivalry on October 9 at Héroes Inmortales, where Damián 666, Halloween and Nicho el Millonario were defeated in a Masks vs. Hairs steel cage match and were all shaved bald.
AAA later vacated his Cruiserweight Championship. On September 26, 2009, at Heroes Inmortales III Konnan kidnapped AAA owner Dorian Roldán and on the October 17 tapings of AAA's television show offered to return him if his father Joaquín reinstated Alex Koslov. Later in the evening, during a match between Marco Corleone and Chessman, a masked man entered the ring and attacked Corleone. The masked man was caught and unmasked to reveal Koslov, whom Konnan then saved by threatening Dorian with violence if Koslov wasn't freed.

On June 18 at Triplemanía XIX, La Maniarquía was defeated by Electroshock, Heavy Metal and Joe Líder in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. Mascarita Sagrada was the third wrestler eliminated from the match by eventual winner Mini Abismo Negro. In May, 2010 AAA announced that they were planning to hold the first ever Mini-Estrellas Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match at Triplemanía XVIII where Mini Abismo Negro would defend the title against six challengers, including Mascarita Sagrada. At Triplemanía XVIII Octagóncito outlasted eight other wrestlers (La Parkita and Mini Chessman were late additions to the match) in the TLC match to become the new AAA Mini-Estrellas Champion.
A minute later La Parka evened the sides by pinning Hart after a dive off the ropes. Next La Parka pinned Chessman, leaving El Zorro in a two-on-one situation. 16 minutes and 30 seconds into the match El Zorro was able to eliminate La Parka after hitting him with a Kendo stick when the referee had his back turned. The final fall of the match saw Latin Lover pin El Zorro to earn the title match at the 2010 Rey de Reyes event.
El Zorro later explained the turn, claiming that Konnan was the only person who cared for him and that him and the original La Sociedad were only trying to make him stronger, when the group turned on him in May 2011. On January 22, 2016, at Guerra de Titanes, El Zorro, Dark Cuervo and Dark Scoria won the vacant AAA World Trios Championship. They lost the title to OGT (Averno, Chessman and Ricky Marvin) on November 4. In February 2017, El Zorro left AAA.

The Black Family Espíritu to leave Los Vatos Locos and join them to fill the void. Sometime in 2006 all four members of the Black Family changed their names slightly adding the word "Dark" in front of their names, thus Espíritu became 'Dark Espirut although the names are use interchangeably.
Oscar Macy had no formal schooling, but was tutored by his father. Soon after the settlers' party arrived in California, Oscar went with a brother-in-law, David W. Chessman, to Condemned Bar in Yuba County to work a gold mine. The venture was unsuccessful, so Macy went to Sacramento to work as a printer on the Alta California. Cibernético and Abyss fought Vampiro and El Zorro in the next match, a hardcore match that quickly saw the interference of La Legión members Chessman, Christopher Daniels, Alex Koslov, Nosawa and Hernandez. After a while Cibernetico and Abyss were able to fight La Legión off. Near the end of the match Vampiro got into an argument with Konnan, resulting in Konnan tossing a handful of white powder into Vampiro's face. Blinded Vampiro was an easy target for Cibernético's Garra Cibernetica ("The Cybernetic Claw"; a chokeslam) for the pin fall.
All except The Spider died fighting the Sinister Seven. Other foes he faced included The Crime Genie, Spider-Boy, The Snake, The Death-Master, the Ant, the Red Baron, The Fly, The Molecule Man, The Chessman and Mr. Stonehart. An elder, now retired, version of The Spider has appeared in Jack Staff. This version does not seem to have become a hero, and instead was active as an undefeated thief from the 1960s through the 80s in the UK. It's unclear if this Spider ever put together an army of crime, or only worked alone.
This led to El Zorro, who had recently returned to AAA, running out, but instead of saving the técnicos, he also turned on them, joining the rudos. La Nueva Sociedad was completed by Sexy Star, who returned from her maternity leave during the event, saving Karen Jarrett from Faby Apache, before the new group was formally introduced by Roldán. In February 2015, Los Hell Brothers (Averno, Chessman and Cibernético) joined La Sociedad. In May, longtime rival of La Sociedad, El Mesías, turned rudo and also joined the stable.
Valkyrie, the first foreigner to win this title, suffered a broken nose in this match. The fourth match saw Electroshock losing his hair as he lost a steel cage match when El Mesias (substituting for Jeff Jarrett, in his return after a near-eight month absence) escaped the cage after using a double knee backbreaker from the top rope on Electroshock. Prior to that, the order of escape was first La Parka Jr, then Averno, Blue Demon Jr, and Chessman. The match was described as "a total bloodbath full of wild spots".

Harper was inspired by a trip to, and time spent in, Big Sur, California. "Me and My Woman" is a love song backed by David Bedford's orchestral arrangements (Bedford would also collaborate on some of Harper's later releases). "Hors d'Oeuvres" was inspired by the fate of Caryl Chessman who spent nearly 12 years on death row – at the time the longest ever in the United States – before being executed in a gas chamber in May 1960. "One Man Rock and Roll Band" is a critique on the pointlessness of violence.

The painting is referenced in Harriett Chessman's influential 1993 essay Mary Cassatt and the Maternal Body. Extending Griselda Pollock's notion of the "spaces of femininity", Chessman suggests that Cassatt used the child's body in her mother and child paintings as a way of encoding female sexuality. Judith Barter observes that in Cassatt's social millieu the only proper expression of a woman's sexuality was her maternity. In a painting such as Breakfast in Bed we are aware that we have interrupted an intimate moment, but we have not done so improperly.
The second match featured Pimpinela Escarlata defending the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship against Sexy Star in a lumberjack match. Gunner At Héroes Inmortales, Los Psycho Circus ended their year-long rivalry with Los Perros del Mal, defeating the rudo group in a steel cage Masks vs. Hair match, after Joe Líder attacked his former La Hermandad 187 partner Nicho el Millonario, who had turned on him the previous July. On November 26, Líder and Extreme Tiger challenged Abyss and Chessman for the AAA World Tag Team Championship, but were defeated when Nicho interfered, hitting Líder with a steel chair and throwing a fireball to Tiger's face. On December 1, Nicho defeated Líder in a street fight, following interference from Halloween, and burned his La Hermandad 187 gear afterwards.
In the end La Parka came to the ring, thwarting La Legión's plans, helping Charly Manson pin Konnan and win the first Copa Antonio Peña. Following the match Charly Manson was presented with a medal, bearing the image of Antonio Peña, by Joaquin Roldan, Peña's successor as AAA booker. The second main event, and last match of the evening was a Domo De La Muerte cage match where the last man in the ring would be forced to have his hair shaved off. The tecnico team saw Los Hell Brothers (Chessman and Cibernético) team up with and El Intocable who replaced Latin Lover in the match.
Zorro was also unsuccessful in his bid for the World title at the 2008 Antonio Peña Memorial show where he lost a triangle match that also included Chessman. When Cibernético left AAA shortly after the memorial show the World title became vacant and Zorro immediately began campaigning for the title. With Konnan being in charge of the promotion after having won the storyline control of the company he booked El Zorro in a match against El Mesias for the vacant world title. As an added stipulation El Mesias would have to become a member of La Legión and do their bidding should he lose.
After Wagner Jr. was eliminated from the match, Jarrett pinned Park to retain his title, when someone masked as El Zorro interfered and hit him with a guitar. This person was later revealed as La Sociedad member Chessman, whom Konnan had sent to interfere in the match in order to have Park go after El Zorro instead of continuing to chase his stablemate's title. On October 9 at Héroes Inmortales, Park took part in the Copa Antonio Peña gauntlet match. After turning on Jeff Jarrett and eliminating him from the match, Park was once again attacked by a masked El Zorro, which led to Electroshock defeating him to win the match.
After defeating Psycho Clown once more on July 8 and stealing Psycho Clown's wrestling mask, Pagano challenged Psycho Clown to put his mask on the line while Pagano would put up his hair in a Luchas de Apuestas, or "bet match". At the time Psycho Clown did not respond to the challenge. On July 16 AAA officially announced the match as the main event of Triplemanía XXIV on August 28. The team of Averno and Chessman, also known as Los Hell Brothers won the vacant AAA World Tag Team Championship by defeating the teams of Aero Star/Fénix and Máscara Año 2000 Jr./Villano IV at the Guerra de Titanes show.
The city also built and maintains Chessman Reservoir and Scott Reservoir near the stream's headwaters, which retain excess water during periods of high precipitation, and release this water during periods of high demand (usually later summer and fall when stream flow is low). Nearly all the water in Tenmile Creek is diverted by underground pipeline to the Tenmile Water Treatment Plant located on Rimini Road west of Helena. In 2011, the city of Helena and local landowners sued one another over how much water the city was permitted to take from Tenmile Creek. Landowners argued that the city was taking too much water from the stream.
On September 13, 2009, Raijin made a one- night return to All Japan, teaming up with Great Muta in a winning effort against Suwama and Shuji Kondo. On March 21, 2010, Raijin made another return to All Japan, now using his TNA ring name Kiyoshi, he teamed up with Bushi to defeat the tag team of Chessman and Dark Ozz. On April 3 Kiyoshi entered All Japan's 2010 Champion Carnival. He defeated René Duprée and Suwama, but lost to Taiyō Kea and Masakatsu Funaki in the round robin stage of the tournament, finished third in his block and did not advance to the semifinals.
In 2005 Charly Manson finally rose to the top of the roster in AAA as he was one of the "illuminati" behind the creation of La Secta Cibernetica (Spanish for "the Sect of Cybernetico") led by Manson's longtime friend Cibernético. The group was joined by Chessman and the rest of the Black Family to form what would become the main rudo (heel or bad guy) stable in AAA at the time. Its storyline goal was to take over AAA and drive AAA owner Antonio Peña out of power. The storyline saw the group face a number of "AAA Loyalist" técnicos led by La Parka (the AAA version).
Most appeals were based on assertions that he was forced to go to trial unprepared; that the trial itself was unfair; that confessions obtained by force and intimidation and promises of partial immunity were used in evidence against him; that California's "Little Lindbergh Law" was unconstitutional; and that the transcript of record forwarded upon appeal to the state supreme court was incomplete, and important parts of the proceedings were missing or incorrectly recorded. In 1957 the U.S. Supreme Court ordered the State of California to conduct a full review of the transcripts. The review concluded that the transcripts were substantially accurate. Chessman also took his case to the public through letters, essays and books.
Following the loss, Silver King and Último Gladiador began showing signs of dissension, but were brought back together by La Legión Extranjera member Chessman, who joined Los Maniacos to form La Maniarquía. Meanwhile, the AAA Mega Champion El Zorro, having caught wind of L.A. Park's intention of challenging for his title, seemingly started interfering in his matches under his old mask, costing him back–to–back multi–man tag team matches at the April 27 and 30 TV tapings, escalating the dissension within La Sociedad in the process. In early May, Jeff Jarrett, the founder of American promotion Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, announced his and TNA's alignment with Dorian Roldán and La Sociedad and their participation in Triplemanía XIX.
Blue Demon Jr, Electro Shock and La Parka represented the técnicos of Ejercito AAA, while Averno, Chessman and Jarrett being the rudos. To set up the match, Jarrett attacked Electro Shock with a guitar and drew blood in Querétaro in June 2014. The four-way match originally promoted as second to the main event was for the Copa Triplemanía XXII, and also featured little buildup. This would be Myzteziz's first major event for AAA since his in-ring debut, and he would once again face one of his hottest rivals, Perro Aguayo Jr. AAA announced a surprise entrant for the match, which was revealed as Dr. Wagner Jr. in his return to the promotion.
The championship feud build from the overarching AAA storyline featuring La Legión Extranjera ("The Foreign Legion") fighting against the Mexicans representing AAA. El Mesías, from Puerto Rico, was one of the major figures in La Legión Extranjera, teaming with US representative Sean Waltman and Japanese wrestler Kenzo Suzuki in the main event of Triplemanía XV. The trio lost to Los Hell Brothers (Cibernético, Charly Manson and Chessman). In September 2007 Los Hell Brothers teamed up with El Zorro to wrestle against the Black Family (Dark Cuervo, Dark Escoria, Dark Espiritu and Dark Ozz) in the main event of the 2007 Verano de Escándalo show. Zorro escaped early on in the match leaving his team at a disadvantage.
The two were fighting on the outside of the ring when the time expired, resulting in a draw. For the semi-final match a wheelchair bound Charly Manson entered the arena to introduce the luchador sorpresa ("surprise wrestler") that had been advertised and Chessman and La Parka's tag team partner. AAA played "Bad Medicine" over the PA system, normally the theme song of Dr. Wagner Jr. (who was wrestling for CMLL), as they introduced Dr. Wagner Jr.'s brother Silver King as the surprise wrestler, confirming rumors reported by newspapers earlier in the day. Silver King surprised everyone by wearing his wrestling mask, after not having worn it for over 20 years.
In the weeks leading up to the event Mini Abismo Negro, Mini Histeria and Mini Psicosis defeated Mascarita Divina, Mini Charly Manson and Octagoncito in a match that featured the use of both tables, ladders and chairs to preview the Triplemanía XVIII match. At Triplemanía XVIII Octagoncito outlasted eight other wrestlers (La Parkita and Mini Chessman were late additions to the match) in the TLC match to become the new AAA Mini-Estrella Champion. On April 27, 2011, Mini Psicosis defeated Octagoncito to win the AAA World Mini-Estrella Championship. After the longest reign in the history of the AAA World Mini-Estrella Championship, he lost the title to Dinastía on February 18, 2013.
In 2005 the Apaches were forced to vacate the Mixed tag team titles, after which AAA held a tournament to crown new champions. Cynthia and El Oriéntal defeated Gran Apache and Tiffany in the semi-final and then defeated Chessman and La Diabólica in a one night tournament at Verano de Escandalo to become the new AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions. Over the next 779 days Cynthia and El Oriéntal would repeatedly defend the Mixed tag team titles, including defending them on various independent shows. Their reign would come to an end in November, 2007 when they were forced to vacate the championship when Cynthia suffered an injury and was unable to defend the titles.
The team did not make another major show appearance until a year later when they unsuccessfully challenged Los Vatos Locos for the Mexican National Atómicos Championship at Verano de Escandalo (2002). That challenge was the first of many as the Black Family began chasing the Atómicos title and feuding with Los Vatos Locos. On April 19, 2002, Chessman teamed up with fellow LLL stable mate Electroshock to defeat the team of La Parka, Jr. and Mascara Sagrada to win the Mexican National Tag Team Championship. When Los Vatos Locos lost the titles to someone else in late 2002, the Black Family started to target the new champions Oscar Sevilla and Los Barrio Boys (Alan, Billy Boy and Decnnis).
On March 30, 2001 La Parka Jr. defeated Latin Lover, Abismo Negro and Heavy Metal to win the 2001 Rey de Reyes tournament, the first visible proof that La Parka Jr. was being positioned as one of the top tecnicos (Face or good guy) of AAA. La Parka Jr. followed his Rey de Reyes success by forcing Abismo Negro to submit in their four on four encounter at Triplemania IX on May 26, 2001. On November 11, 2001 La Parka and Máscara Sagrada teamed up to defeat El Texano and Pirata Morgan for the Mexican National Tag Team Championship. The team held onto the titles until April 19, 2002 when Electroshock and Chessman took the titles from them.
The original stable was formed around the promotion's number one rudo Cibernético and was known as La Secta Cibernética (a play on words, meaning both "The Sect of Cibernético" and "The Cybernetic Sect" in English). The group was formed in late 2005 when Cibernético along with his longtime partners in crime Chessman and Charly Manson recruited The Black Family to join together and form the La Secta super stable. La Secta’s first and primary feud was with La Parka (the AAA version) who led a group of técnicos in the gang war. This led to a Luchas de Apuestas match between La Parka and Cibernético at Triplemanía XII where La Parka defeated Cibernético and forced him to unmask.
The fourth match saw Chessman teaming with TNA wrestlers D'Angelo Dinero and Gunner against Los Psycho Circus. After Los Psycho Circus managed to isolate Dinero from his partners, Monster Clown lifted him up to Murder Clown sitting on the top rope, who then dropped him down to the mat with a superbomb for the win. After the match, the Gunner attacked the clowns and was setting Monster Clown for a move, before being chased out of the ring by Murder and Psycho Clown. Cibernético In the fifth match of the pay-per-view, Ejército AAA members Cibernético, Electroshock and El Zorro took on La Sociedad members La Parka, Octagón and Silver King.
Chessman, lost his hair in the main event The first of the two main events on the show was the first ever Copa Antonio Peña, a 12-man gauntlet match, where two wrestlers begin in the ring and each time a wrestler is defeated he is replaced by a new wrestler until all 12 wrestlers have entered the match. The focus of the event was the storyline between La Legión Extranjera ("The Foreign Legion" in Spanish) and the "AAA Loyalists". The match started out with La Legión member X-Pac facing and defeating Brazo de Plata in short order. AAA Loyalist Mascara Divina was the next competitor, eliminating X-Pac after approximately five minutes of action.
During the feud, Cosme was both leader of La Secta del Mesías and member of La Legión Extranjera. Later, Cosme took both the IWC heavyweight championship from Cibernético and the GPCW SUPER-X Monster Title from La Parka in the preliminary rounds of the AAA Mega Championship tournament. As Mesías, he became the first wrestler to win the AAA Mega Championship in AAA's pay- per-view event Verano de Escandalo after defeating Chessman(Kevin Citlali Zamora) by disqualification. On November 29, 2007, he successfully defended the company's championship in a triple threat match at a pay-per-view titled Guerra de Titanes. In March 2008, he returned to AAA after several months of inactivity.
However, immediately afterwards, La Sociedad turned on the two and expelled them from the group. Los Hell Brothers subsequently made several successful title defenses and began bragging about how there were no challengers left for them to deal with, that "no man" could defeat them. In the spring of 2016 sisters- turned-rivals Mari Apache and Faby Apache reunited as Mari returned to the tecnico side and started to team up with her sister on a regular basis. At that point in time the Apaches challenged Los Hell Brothers, demanding that they put the tag team championship on the line, a challenge that Averno and Chessman turned down, acting very dismissing and sexist in the process.
La Diabólica jumped from CMLL to its main Mexican rival Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) who had a very active women's division at the time. In 2005, she teamed up with Chessman to compete in a tournament for the newly created AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship but lost to Cyntia Moreno and El Oriental at the 2005 Guerra de Titanes show. At the 2006 Rey de Reyes show she teamed up with Chikayo Nagashima, Tiffany and Carlos Amano to defeat Cinthia Moreno, Martha Villalobos, Lola Gonzales, and Miss Janeth. At the 2007 Guerra de Titanes La Diabólica once again competed for the vacant AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship, this time teaming up with Espiritu but lost to Gran Apache and Mari Apache.
After Evans repeatedly refused to stay down, Aguayo finally acknowledged his rival's guts and exited the ring. On February 3, Aguayo announced that he was tired of wrestling with Evans and declared that they would not meet again in the ring, unless Evans was able to defeat him. In the following tag team match, where Aguayo and Halloween faced Evans and Extreme Tiger, Aguayo's overconfidence eventually led to Evans pinning him for the win. On March 2, Evans defeated Chessman, El Texano Jr. and Nicho el Millonario to qualify for the finals of the Rey de Reyes tournament, scoring the last elimination over El Texano Jr., following interference from Dr. Wagner Jr., who was attacked by El Consejo earlier in the event.
He also wrote television biopics of Howard Hughes, George Armstrong Custer, Caryl Chessman, and Adolf Hitler; small screen remakes of Dial M for Murder, Witness for the Prosecution, Inherit the Wind, and Shadow of a Doubt; adaptations of the bestsellers Fatal Vision and Blind Faith by Joe McGinniss and The Burden of Proof by Scott Turow; and the television movie A Piano for Mrs. Cimino starring Bette Davis. Gay also wrote the one-man play Diversions and Delights, in which Oscar Wilde presents a lecture about his career to a Parisian audience in November 1899. With Vincent Price portraying Wilde, the play premiered in San Francisco in July 1977 and toured more than 300 cities during the next three years.
The team of Averno and Chessman, also known as Los Hell Brothers won the vacant AAA World Tag Team Championship by defeating the teams of Aero Star/Fénix and Máscara Año 2000 Jr./Villano IV at the Guerra de Titanes show. The two teamed up with their former step-mother Lady Apache and won the women's version of the 2016 Lucha Libre World Cup.
The death penalty was only "a trumped-up excuse" to use against her, even though the Bird Court consistently upheld the constitutionality of the death penalty. In 1960, he lobbied his father, then governor, to spare the life of Caryl Chessman and reportedly won a 60-day stay for him. Brown was both in favor of a Balanced Budget Amendment and opposed to Proposition 13, the latter of which would decrease property taxes and greatly reduce revenue to cities and counties. When Proposition 13 passed in June 1978, he heavily cut state spending, and along with the Legislature, spent much of the $5 billion surplus to meet the proposition's requirements and help offset the revenue losses which made cities, counties, and schools more dependent on the state.
The title was established in 2007 via a single elimination tournament billed as the "Torneo Campeón de Campeones", or Champion of Champions Tournament, which effectively unified the International Wrestling Council (IWC) World Heavyweight Championship, the Grand Prix Championship Wrestling (GPCW) SUPER-X Monster Championship, the Mexican National Heavyweight Championship, and the Universal Wrestling Association (UWA) World Light Heavyweight Championship. The tournament field included the four reigning champions of the aforementioned titles as well as the number one contender to each championship. El Mesías, who entered the tournament as the IWC World Heavyweight Champion, became the inaugural AAA Mega Champion upon defeating the UWA World Light Heavyweight Champion entrant Chessman in the final round. El Texano Jr.'s first reign is the longest in history at 735 days.
Since Mascarita Divina is an enmascarado (masked) it is not known if he has wrestled before he made his debut as Mascarita Divina in 2007. He was brought in as a Mini-Estrella version of Máscara Divina. Upon his debut Mascarita Divina began a feud with the rúdo (bad guy) Mini Charly Manson, a feud that resulted in Mascarita Divina making his first major show appearance for AAA at the 2007 Rey de Reyes where he teamed with Mascarita Sagrada 2000 and Octagoncito to defeat Mini Charly Manson, Mini Abismo Negro and Mini Chessman in the opening match of the show. It was later revealed that Mascarita Divina and Mini Charly Manson were actually cousins, although the relationship has not been acknowledged on television.
A few weeks after losing the FILL Women's Championship García made her debut for AAA as the enmascarada (masked) character Sexy Star, a técnica (fan favorite character, or Face). Her first match for AAA saw her on the losing side of a Relevos Atómicos de locura match (Spanish for "Eight-man madness match") where she teamed up with Billy Boy, Octagóncito and Pimpinela Escarlata losing to Faby Apache, Gran Apache, Mini Chessman and Polvo de Estrellas. After joining AAA she received further training from both Abismo Negro and Gran Apache, AAA's main trainer for luchadoras. Sexy Star participated in the 2007 Reina de Reinas (Spanish for "Queen of Queens") tournament, and was one of six women to survive a 16-woman torneo cibernetico match.
The Triplemanía XXI show featured eight professional wrestling matches with different wrestlers involved in pre-existing scripted feuds, plots and storylines. Wrestlers were portrayed as either heels (referred to as rudos in Mexico, those that portray the "bad guys") or faces (técnicos in Mexico, the "good guy" characters) as they followed a series of tension-building events, which culminated in a wrestling match or series of matches. On October 7, 2012 the makeshift team of Vampiro and Joe Líder defeated La Legión Extranjera (Abyss and Chessman) in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match to win the AAA World Tag Team Championship as part of AAA's 2012 Héroes Inmortales ("Immortal Heroes") show. The duo never actually defended the championship after Héroes Inmortales nor did they even team together.
In 2001, Chessman made his AAA debut as part of a new stable called the Black Family, alongside its leader Charly Manson, Ozz, Escoria and Cuervo. The Black Family soon became a part of Lucha Libre Latina (LLL), the Mexican version of the New World Order, a group led by Chessman's long time friend Cibernético. Even though they were part of a much larger group, the Black Family still worked as a unit, a stable within the stable. The Black Family made their first major show appearance at Verano de Escandalo (2001) where they lost an elimination match to Los Vatos Locos (Espiritu, Nygma, Silver Cat and Picudo); also in the match were Los Vipers (Psicosis II, Histeria, Maniaco and Mosco de la Merced) and Los Exoticos.
Each side chose a team of five to represent them, with the winning team earning control of the company. On the night the team representing Roldan and AAA, El Hijo del Santo, La Parka, Vampiro, Octagón, and Jack Evans, defeated Konnan's team of Silver King, Chessman, Kenzo Suzuki, Electroshock, and Teddy Hart to return control of the promotion to Joaquin Roldan. Featured matches on the undercard included Alex Koslov defending the AAA Cruiserweight Championship against Extreme Tiger, Crazy Boy, and Alan Stone in a hardcore match, La Hermandad Extrema (Nicho El Millonario and Joe Líder) defending the AAA World Tag Team Championship against Latin Lover and Marco Corleone. Finally the show featured an eight-man and a six-man tag team match.
At Triplemania XV the La Legión team of Ron Killings, Sabu, Head Hunter A and Rikishi Phatu defeated La Parka, El Zorro, Latin Lover and Animal. Over the summer of 2007 La Parka injured his shoulder in a car accident, forcing him to work a lighter schedule and a less risky style. At the 2007 Antonio Peña Memorial Show Kenzo Suzuki aggravated La Parka's injury by accident forcing him to take time off after the event. La Parka's shoulder injury kept him sidelined for extended periods in both 2007 and 2008, but he did participate in Triplemania XVI where he teamed with Chessman and Silver King, only to lose to La Legión, represented by Bobby Lashley, Electroshock and Kenzo Suzuki.
The Rey de Reyes 2007 (Spanish for "King of Kings") was the fourth 11th Rey de Reyes professional wrestling tournament and show, produced by the Mexican wrestling promotion AAA. The event took place on March 18, 2007 in the Toreo de Cuatro Caminos arena in Naucalpan, Mexico State, Mexico. The main focus of the 2007 Rey de Reyes show was the finals of the Rey de Reyes tournament and a match between the Stable "Los Hell Brothers" (Cibernético, Chessman and Charly Manson) and the "Outsider" group known as La Legión Extranjera (Muerta Cibernetica, Scott Steiner and Kenzo Suzuki). As in previous years there were no qualifying matches for the Rey de Reyes; instead, six people competed in an elimination match to determine the 2007 Rey de Reyes.

Electrshock left the group to be a full-time member of La Legión while Charly Manson turned técnico (good guy) and joined up with Cibernético and Chessman to form "Los Hell Brothers". When Mr. Niebla jumped from rival promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre to join AAA he became a part of Vipers Revolucion and instantly began vying for leadership. This led to several clashes between Abismo Negro and Mr. Niebla, resulting in the rest of Vipers Revolucion siding with Mr. Niebla, kicking Abismo Negro out of the group. In late 2007, AAA created a ring persona for a new wrestler called Black Abyss; the gimmick featured the same mask and attire as Negro and used a similar wrestling style to Negro as well.
Over the years Konan Big has made several appearances for AAA when their tour went through Monterrey. On June 9, 2009 Konan Big faced Cibernético in a match where Cibernético stated before the match that Konan Big was used to facing "clowns and TV presenters" (the latter referring to his various conflicts with Ernesto Chavana, the host of Las Noches de Futbol) but now had to face a real wrestler. The statement was backed up with a victory over Konan Big after only just eight minutes. At AAA's annual Heroes Inmortales III Konan Big made his first mainstream appearance for AAA, first being brought out as one of the potential opponents for Chessman after his scheduled opponent Charly Manson left the promotion.
After winning the AAA World Tag Team Championship from La Familia de Tijuana in September 2008, Líder and Psicosis, then known as Nicho el Millonario, held the title for 18 months, becoming the longest reigning champions in AAA history. Even after losing the title, Líder and Nicho remained together as a técnico team, feuding with the La Sociedad stable. In June 2011, AAA, in storyline, suspended Nicho, after he interfered in a six- man tag team match at Triplemanía XIX, where Líder, Heavy Metal and Electroshock, replacing the previously injured Nicho, faced Chessman, Silver King and Último Gladiador. On July 16, Nicho turned on Líder, believing that Líder had not stood up for him as he was, in his mind, being wronged by AAA.
Chessman argues that Roosevelt's program "rested firmly upon the concept of the square deal by a neutral state". The rules for the Square Deal were "honesty in public affairs, an equitable sharing of privilege and responsibility, and subordination of party and local concerns to the interests of the state at large". By holding twice-daily press conferences—which was an innovation—Roosevelt remained connected with his middle-class political base. Roosevelt successfully pushed the Ford Franchise-Tax bill, which taxed public franchises granted by the state and controlled by corporations, declaring that "a corporation which derives its powers from the State, should pay to the State a just percentage of its earnings as a return for the privileges it enjoys".
In one of his first matches with The Mexican Powers, he and Crazy Boy teamed with Juventud Guerrera and Psicosis II in an 8-man tag team match to defeat Chessman, Escoria, Cuervo and Ozz at the Verano de Escandalo (2006) on September 17, 2006. Three months later at Guerra de Titanes 2006, Líder was pinned by Escoria in a match with Crazy Boy and Psicosis against Escoria, Cuervo and Ozz. He also took part in a 4-team elimination match to determine the first AAA World Tag Team Championship at Rey de Reyes (2007) but lost out to Cuervo and Ozz when Líder was pinned by Ozz in the final fall. The other participants were Alan Stone and Zumbido and Pegasso and Super Fly.
Following Guerra de Titanes Laredo Kid and Rey Cometa was joined by Super Fly, Nemesis, Pegasso and Aero Star to form the group Real Fuerza Aérea, a group of colorful, masked young high fliers. On March 10, 2006, Real Fuerza Aérea made their first appearance as a group at a major AAA event when Laredo Kid, Super Fly and Nemesis lost to Los Diabolicos (Angel Mortal, Mr. Condor and Gallego) at the 2006 Rey de Reyes show. Three months later Real Fuerza Aérea (this time consisting of Laredo Kid, Nemesis, Super Fly and Rey Cometa) challenged the Black Family (Chessman, Cuervo, Escoria and Ozz) for the Mexican National Atómicos Championship at Triplemanía XIV. The match ended in a "No contest", causing the championship to be declared vacant.

Around the time of Chessman joining the Black Family became part of Lucha Libre Latina (LLL), the Mexican version of the New World Order, a group led by Chessman's long- time friend Cibernético. Even though they were part of a much larger group the four men still worked as a unit, a stable within the stable. On July 18, 2003 the Black Family won their first championship as a unit when they defeated Oscar Sevilla and Los Barrio Boys for the Atómicos title, but their run only lasted 31 days before Sevilla and Los Barrio Boys regained the titles. It would be just over a year before the Black Family got another opportunity to hold the titles as they won them on August 20, 2004.
In February 2015, Los Hell Brothers officially joined La Sociedad. On June 14, 2015, at Verano de Escándalo, Averno won his first title in AAA, when Los Hell Brothers captured the AAA World Trios Championship. At Triplemanía XXIII Los Hell Brothers successfully defended the AAA World Trios Championship in a Steel Cage match, defeating the trios of Fénix and Los Güeros del Cielo (Angélico and Jack Evans) and Los Perros del Mal (El Hijo del Fantasma, Pentagón Jr., El Texano Jr.) In late 2015 Cibernético left AAA, which forced AAA to strip Los Hell Brothers the trios championship on January 6, 2016. On January 22 at Guerra de Titanes, Averno and Chessman won the vacant AAA World Tag Team Championship.

The second match featured four tag teams battling each other in a four-way match. The match started with a surprise return, when Chessman revealed his unannounced partner for the match, the returning Teddy Hart. The match also saw Extreme Tiger teaming up with Fénix, a replacement for an injured Daga, Joe Líder reuniting with his former Mexican Powers stablemate Juventud Guerrera, and Los Perros del Mal member Nicho el Millonario teaming up with Halloween, who had legitimately quit both Los Perros del Mal and its home promotion, Perros del Mal Producciones, the previous week, but had vowed to honor his prior commitments with AAA. Joe Líder and Juventud Guerrera went on to win the match, with Guerrera pinning Halloween with a Go to Sleep for the win.
This led to another AAA World Trios Championship match on December 8 at Guerra de Titanes, where Los Psycho Circus defeated El Consejo representatives El Texano Jr., El Hijo del Fantasma and Silver King to retain their title. On June 7, 2014, at Verano de Escándalo, Psycho Clown once again failed to capture the AAA Mega Championship from El Texano Jr. after referee Rafael el Maya turned rudo and joined El Consejo. The rivalry between Psycho Clown and El Texano Jr. culminated on August 17 at Triplemanía XXII, where Psycho Clown was victorious in a Lucha de Apuestas between the two, forcing his rival to have his head shaved. Los Psycho Circus lost the AAA World Trios Championship to Los Hell Brothers (Averno, Chessman and Cibernético) on June 14, 2015, at Verano de Escándalo.
Mini Histeria was the seventh man eliminated, ousted before his Los Mini Vipers teammate Mini Abismo Negro won the title. In May, 2010 AAA announced that they were planning to hold the first ever Mini-Estrellas Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match at Triplemanía XVIII where Mini Abismo Negro would defend the title against six challengers, including Mini Histeria. At Triplemanía XVIII Octagoncito outlasted eight other wrestlers (La Parkita and Mini Chessman were late additions to the match) in the TLC match to become the new AAA Mini-Estrellas Champion.
The semi-final match was the previously unannounced Rey de Reyes tournament, a nine-man elimination match, fought under delayed entry battle royal rules where a new competitor joined the match at a timed interval and wrestlers were eliminated by being thrown out of the ring. The order of elimination was Pimpinela Escarlata, Niño Hamburguesa, El Elegido, Joe Líder, La Parka, Chessman and Bengala leaving Argenis and Averno as the last two men. The final elimination happened by pinfall as Argenis pinned Averno to win the Rey de Reyes tournament and the Rey de Reyes sword that symbolizes the victory. In the last match of the night Aero Star put his mask on the line against long time rival Súper Fly who would risk his hair in a Lucha de Apuestas, or "bet match".
When Charly Manson returned to action he sided with Los Vipers instead of the Black Family, leading to a match at Guerra de Titanes 2002, where the Black Family defeated Manson, Histeria, Mosco de la Merced, and Psicosis II. On July 18, 2003, the Black Family won their first championship as a unit when they defeated Oscar Sevilla and Los Barrio Boys for the Atómicos title, but their run only lasted 31 days before Sevilla and Los Barrio Boys regained the titles. Chessman's run of bad luck continued as Octagón and La Parka won the Mexican National Tag Team titles from Chessman and Electroshock. The Black Family would wait over a year before they got another opportunity to hold the titles as they won them on August 20, 2004.
Hart returned to AAA on March 18, 2012, at Rey de Reyes, where he teamed with Chessman in a four-way tag team match, which was won by Joe Líder and Juventud Guerrera and also included the teams of Extreme Tiger and Fénix, and Halloween and Nicho el Millonario. On April 1, El Hijo del Perro Aguayo, who had recently been feuding with Hart's former partner Jack Evans, named Hart the newest member of his Los Perros del Mal stable. On August 5 at Triplemanía XX, Hart reunited with Evans for one night to take part in a Parejas Suicidas steel cage match, featuring three other former tag teams. However, both Hart and Evans managed to escape the cage and avoid having to face each other in a Hair vs.
When Chessman took over leadership of the group the Black Family joined Lucha Libre Latina (LLL), the Mexican version of the New World Order, a group led by Chessman's long time friend Cibernético. Even though they were part of a much larger group the four men still worked as a unit, a stable within the stable. The Black Family made their first major show appearance at the 2001 Verano de Escandalo where they lost an elimination match to Los Vatos Locos (Espíritu, Nygma, Silver Cat & Picudo), also in the match were Los Vipers (Psicosis II, Histeria, Maniaco & Mosco de la Merced) and Los Exoticos. the team did not make another major show appearance until a year later when they unsuccessfully challenged Los Vatos Locos for the Mexican National Atómicos Championship at Verano de Escandalo (2002).
The 2007 Antonio Peña Memorial Show (Homenaje a Antonio Peña in Spanish) was the first show to honor the deceased Antonio Peña, owner and creator of the Mexican Lucha Libre, or professional wrestling, company Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA). The show was held approximately one year after Peña died of a heart attack. The main focus of the show was the first ever Copa Antonio Peña which was won by Charly Manson as he survived a 12-man gauntlet match eliminating Alan Stone, Konnan and Scott Hall to win the Copa. Also on the show was a Domo De La Muerte cage match (Spanish for "Dome of Death") that saw Chessman come out as the loser in the match and thus had to have his hair shaved off.
He would team with Foreign Legion members Chessman and Alex Koslov losing to Extreme Tiger, Joe Líder and Nicho el Millonario. During the main event, Crazy along with Los Perros del Mal attacked Dr. Wagner Jr.. On December 5, 2010, Super Crazy wrestled for Xplosión Nacional de Lucha (XNL) in Chile, facing XL and Giger in a three–way, two–fall match, where the first fall would be contested for XL's XNL Championship and the second for Crazy's X–LAW Junior Heavyweight Championship. In the first fall Crazy pinned XL to win the XNL Championship, but the roles were reversed in the second fall, when XL pinned Crazy to win the X–LAW Junior Heavyweight Championship. In 2010 and 2011, Super Crazy represented Los Perros del Mal in the group's feud with Los Psycho Circus.
" (Ochs wrote in the liner notes that "songs like this" were one of the reasons the State Department blocked Ewan MacColl from entering the U.S., adding that this was unwise given "the quality of culture in America.") However, more doctrinaire socialists may have had mixed feelings about "That's What I Want to Hear," in which Ochs tells an out of work man to stop begging and fight for full employment. Among more traditional protest songs, the most pointed might be "Iron Lady," about the death penalty, with the memorable line "And a rich man never died upon the chair." (The "iron lady" in the title referred to the electric chair.) Ochs wrote that "in the future, intelligent men will read in amazement about the murder of Caryl Chessman.
In the first round of the tournament, sixteen wrestlers were divided into four four-way elimination matches, with the winners meeting each other at Rey de Reyes in another four-way elimination match. The tournament started on February 23, when Los Perros del Mal member Héctor Garza defeated Heavy Metal, Joe Líder and Toscano, scoring the last elimination over Toscano, when members of El Consejo attacked Garza and caused a disqualification. Later that same night, El Hijo del Perro Aguayo defeated Cibernético, Máscara Año 2000 Jr. and a surprise entrant, the returning Juventud Guerrera, with help from interfering Garza, who attacked Máscara Año 2000 Jr., and Chessman, who attacked Guerrera, following the orders of La Sociedad co-leader Konnan. Guerrera had left AAA in March 2009, after Guerrera suffered bruising and a broken nose in a backstage fight with Konnan and Jack Evans.
At the same event, Abyss and Chessman defeated Extreme Tiger and Jack Evans to bring the AAA World Tag Team Championship back to La Sociedad, while El Hijo del Perro Aguayo failed to capture the AAA Latin American Championship from Dr. Wagner Jr. After the match between Wagner and Aguayo, Octagón shocked AAA by turning on the promotion and attacking Wagner. La Parka then entered the ring to seemingly confront his longtime partner, before also turning on Wagner and attacking him along with Octagón, Aguayo, Konan Big and Silver King. On November 5, Konnan named Octagón the new leader of La Milicia, replacing Super Fly. Octagón then showed that he had not forgotten what Super Fly had done to him fourteen months earlier by ordering the rest of the group to attack him, kicking him out of La Milicia.
As the band searched for a name they realised that "Ra" was common in male names in various nationalities. Gabriel was inspired by a variety of sources for the story, including the novel and musical West Side Story, "a kind of punk" twist to the Christian allegory Pilgrim's Progress (1678), the works of Swiss psychologist Carl Jung, and the surreal Western film El Topo (1971) by Alejandro Jodorowsky. In contrast to Selling England by the Pound, which contained strong English themes, Gabriel made a conscious effort to avoid repetition by portraying American imagery, with references to Caryl Chessman, Lenny Bruce, Groucho Marx, Marshall McLuhan, Howard Hughes, Evel Knievel and the Ku Klux Klan. He also expressed some concern over the album's title, but noted that the lamb itself is purely symbolic and a catalyst for the peculiar events that occur.
On December 12, 2002 Los Barrio Boys teamed up with Oscar Sevilla to defeat Los Vatos Locos to win the Mexican National Atómicos Championship. The team had one successful title defense, defeating Hator, Monje Negro, Jr., El Potro and Ben Hur on April 6, 2003 On July 18, 2003 the team lost the Atómicos title back to Los Vatos Locos but would regain them under a month later when they defeated Los Vatos Locos on August 8, 2003. Sevilla and Los Barrio Boys successfully defended the Atómicos title against Los Exoticos (Pimpinela Escarlata, May Flowers, Polvo de Estrellas and Sexy Francis) on October 26, 2003. Their second, and final run with the Mexican National Atómicos title ended on August 20, 2004 when they were defeated by The Black Family (Chessman, Ozz, Cuervo and Escoria, ending their combined reigns at 606 days in total.
Octagoncito was the eighth and last man eliminated from the match, thrown out of the ring by Mini Abismo Negro who won the title as a result. In May 2010 AAA announced that they were planning to hold the first ever Mini-Estrellas Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match at Triplemanía XVIII where Mini Abismo Negro would defend the title against six challengers, including Octagoncito.
On December 7, 2014, at Guerra de Titanes Angélico and Evans lost the AAA World Tag Team Championships to Joe Líder and Pentagón Jr. in a three-way tag team match that also included Fénix and Myzteziz. Evans and Angélico then entered a feud with The Black Family (Dark Cuervo and Dark Escoria), which culminated on June 14, 2015, at Verano de Escándalo, where Evans and Angélico were victorious in a steel cage Lucha de Apuestas. As per stipulation, Cuervo and Escoria were forced to have their heads shaved following the match. On August 9, 2015, at Triplemanía XXIII, Los Hell Brothers (Averno, Chessman and Cibernético) defeated Fénix and Los Güeros del Cielo (Angélico and Jack Evans) and El Hijo del Fantasma, Pentagón Jr., El Texano Jr. in a Three-way trios steel cage match to retain the AAA World Trios Championship.
The first major development of the storyline took place on May 18, when Jarrett and Abyss invaded a AAA event and eventually revealed that they were working together with the heel group La Sociedad, whose leader Dorian Roldán announced his intention of replacing the letters AAA with TNA. Later that same show, Abyss teamed with Jarrett and fellow La Sociedad member Super Crazy in a six- man tag team match, where they were defeated by Dr. Wagner, Jr., Joe Líder and Nicho el Millonario. On June 18 at Triplemanía XIX, Abyss and Mr. Anderson unsuccessfully challenged Extreme Tiger and Jack Evans for the AAA World Tag Team Championship in a steel cage match. On July 20, Abyss teamed with Chessman and Último Gladiador in a six-man tag team match, where they faced Joe Líder, Extreme Tiger and Jack Evans.
The feud developed into a Luchas de Apuestas (literally "a fight of bets") where Cibernético put his mask on the line against La Parka's mask; the main event of Triplemanía XII saw La Parka unmask Cibernético after defeating him. When Cibernético subsequently brought in Muerta Cibernetica (Spanish for "Death Cyborg") to fight La Parka, Manson and Chessman both had their misgivings but decided to trust Cibernético's decision. Meanwhile, Manson entered into a feud with El Zorro, which concluded on June 18, 2008, at Triplemanía XIV, where Manson defeated El Zorro to win the Mexican National Heavyweight Championship in a steel cage match, where Manson's hair was also on the line. After the match Manson and La Secta placed an iron mask on El Zorro and with its supposed powers began controlling the mind of El Zorro and made him join La Secta.
The feud between La Parka and Cibernético continued beyond the mask loss, including La Parka defeating Cibernético in a "Lights Out" match at Verano de Escandalo (2004). In late 2005 Konnan returned to AAA, bringing a contingent of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) wrestlers with him, forming La Legión Extranjera, the new top Rudo (Heel or bad guy) faction of AAA. The appearance of La Legión actually caused La Parka and Cibernético to form a temporary alliance, fighting La Legión in the main event of Guerra de Titanes 2004, defeating Konnan and Rikishi. The Cibernético / La Parka alliance did not last long as Cibernético formed La Secta Cibernetica in early 2005, siding with Konnan's La Legión. On March 11, 2005 La Parka won his third Rey de Reyes, winning a seven-way elimination match over Latin Lover, Abismo Negro, Chessman, Jeff Jarrett, Konnan and Cibernético.
The Rey de Reyes 2004 (Spanish for "King of Kings") was the eighth annual Rey de Reyes professional wrestling tournament and show, produced by the Mexican wrestling promotion AAA. The event took place on March 5, 2004, in the Toreo de Cuatro Caminos arena in Naucalpan, Mexico State, Mexico. The main focus of the 2004 Rey de Reyes show was the eighth annual Rey de Reyes tournament which this year was reduced to a single match between an AAA representative, (Latin Lover) and a representative from AAA's North American working partner Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, (Jeff Jarrett - NWA World Heavyweight Champion at the time). The undercard saw a Parejas Suicida between the teams of Chessman and Tiffany and the husband and wife team of Electroshock and Lady Apache, where the losing team would have to face each other with their hair on the line.
The Rey de Reyes 2006 (Spanish for "King of Kings") was the tenth annual Rey de Reyes professional wrestling tournament and show, produced by the Mexican wrestling promotion AAA. The event took place on March 11, 2005 in the Convention Center in Ciudad Madero, Tamaulipas, Mexico. The main focus of the 2006 Rey de Reyes show was the tenth annual Rey de Reyes tournament which was contested as a multiman elimination match that saw four teams of three compete against each other until one man remained in the end. The teams were: Team AAA (La Parka, Octagón and Vampiro), La Secta Cibernetica (Chessman, Cibernético and Muerte Cibernetica), Team TNA (Konnan, Ron Killings and Samoa Joe) and Los Guapos (Scorpio Jr., Shocker and Zumbido). The undercard included a traditional six man "Lucha Libre rules" tag team match between two of AAA’s stables in Los Diabolicos (Mr.
Cibernético who wrestled in an unsactioned Streetfight The fourth match of the night saw a team representing AAA facing a team representing the main rudo faction La Legión Extranjera (The Foreign Legion) as La Parka, Latin Lover, Octagón and Rocky Romero took on the team of Chessman, El Zorro, Alex Koslov and Teddy Hart in an elimination match where the survivor would become the number one contender for the AAA Mega Championship. The early parts of the match saw frequent tags in and out, but no eliminations until 9 minutes and 59 seconds into the match when El Zorro eliminated Rocky Romero when he forced him to submit. Less than a minute later Latin Lover evened the sides when he pinned Alex Koslov with a quick roll-up pinfall. At the 11:42 mark Teddy Hart put La Legión up three to two when he pinned Octagón.
On December 5 it was announced that at Guerra de Titanes, Nicho and his Perros del Mal stablemate X-Fly would team up to take on Líder and Extreme Tiger in a flaming tables match. While Nicho and Líder were continuing their rivalry, Los Psycho Circus had moved on from Los Perros del Mal, now becoming more involved with AAA's battle with the rest of La Sociedad, especially invaders from the TNA promotion. On November 26, Monster Clown replaced an injured El Mesías and took on TNA wrestler Gunner, losing the match following interference from La Sociedad members Konnan, Dark Dragon and Tito Santana. On December 5, AAA announced a six man tag team match for Guerra de Titanes between Los Psycho Circus and the team of Chessman and TNA wrestlers D'Angelo Dinero and Gunner, representing both La Sociedad and its sub-group La Legión Extranjera.
From April to June 2004, Abyss made four appearances for Mexican promotion AAA, which included a six-man tag team match at Triplemanía XII, where he, Abismo Negro and Chessman were defeated by Gronda, Héctor Garza and Latin Lover. Abyss returned to the promotion on September 17, 2006, at Verano de Escándalo, where he and fellow TNA workers Jeff Jarrett and Konnan, representing La Legión Extranjera ("The Foreign Legion"), were defeated via disqualification by the team of Gronda, La Parka and Octagón. Abyss' following appearance for AAA took place four years later on June 6, 2010, at Triplemanía XVIII, where he, now working as a face, teamed with Cibernético to defeat El Zorro and Vampiro Canadiense in a tag team match. In May 2011, AAA started a storyline, where wrestlers from TNA, led by Jeff Jarrett, announced their intention of taking over the promotion.
The twelfth Monster's Ball match (although not a "real" Monster's Ball match as it was unassociated with TNA) was announced by John Cena Sr. (father of John Cena), president of the Massachusetts-based Millennium Wrestling Federation on its MWF Xtra online show to take place at their Night of Champions show (eight days prior to WWE's PPV of the same title) on June 21, 2008 at Good Time Emporium in Somerville, Massachusetts. Todd Hanson, who replaced Makua in the match, defeated Abyss, Rick Fuller and Brian Milonas to win the match and retain his MWF Heavyweight Championship. Through TNA's working relationship with Mexican promotion AAA, Verano de Escándalo on July 31, 2011, hosted a Monster's Ball match, where Chessman defeated Abyss, Extreme Tiger and Joe Líder. On June 7, 2014 at House of Hardcore V, Abyss defeated Tommy Dreamer in a Monster's Ball match.
In the weeks that followed Rey de Reyes, Máscara Año 2000 Jr. kept making challenges towards Wagner Jr. for a singles match, while El Consejo as a whole also feuded with Chessman, Silver King and Último Gladiador of rudo stable La Sociedad. This would, on April 30, drive longtime rivals and real- life brothers, Wagner Jr. and Silver King to make peace with each other and team up against Máscara Año 2000 Jr. and El Texano Jr. After losing as a result of another interference from El Hombre de Negro, the brothers shook hands to signal the end of hostilities between the two. On June 1, Máscara Año 2000 Jr. pinned Wagner Jr. in a rematch from April 30 and afterwards challenged him to a Mask vs. Mask Lucha de Apuestas, which Wagner Jr. accepted and named Triplemanía XX as the place, where he wanted the match to take place.
The opening match of Triplemanía XX saw Dark Dragon, Mini Charly Manson, Sexy Star and Yuriko take on Faby Apache, Fénix, Octagóncito and Pimpinela Escarlata in an eight-person tag team match. After all other wrestlers ended up on the floor outside the ring, following multiple dives, Apache won the match for her team, submitting Yuriko with an armbar. Following the opening match, AAA paid homage to the promotion's founder, Antonio Peña, while the ring crew set up a steel cage for the second match of the evening, a four-way Parejas Suicidas match, featuring the teams of Chessman and Juventud Guerrera, Extreme Tiger and Halloween, Jack Evans and Teddy Hart, and Joe Líder and Psicosis. The match was contested under escape rules, with all eight participants starting inside the cage and after only one is left inside, that person will then wrestle his partner in a Lucha de Apuestas.

At the final television tapings, taking place six days prior to the pay-per-view, Damián 666, Halloween and X-Fly successfully defended the AAA World Trios Championship against Los Psycho Circus, while Aguayo pinned Wagner Jr. in a six-man tag team match. Post-match, Damián promised a surprise at Héroes Inmortales, which would "revolutionize lucha libre". Magnus, who made his AAA debut in the weeks leading to the event TNA's storyline invasion of AAA, which started in May 2011, continued after Verano de Escándalo with appearances by Abyss, Magnus and Rosita on AAA's television programs. At the September 11 taping, Konnan announced that at Héroes Inmortales Abyss would team with Chessman to challenge Extreme Tiger and Jack Evans for the AAA World Tag Team Championship, while TNA Knockout Velvet Sky would be making her first appearance for AAA since Triplemanía XIX in a match, where she would face Lolita.
Three days later at another television taping Manson made his in- ring return, teaming with Latin Lover and X-Pac to defeat Konnan, Electroshock and El Zorro. On March 15, 2009 at the 2009 Rey de Reyes Manson teamed with D-Generation-Mex members X-Pac and Alex Koslov losing to the team of El Zorro, Teddy Hart and Jack Evans, after which Juventud Guerrera made his return to the promotion to help the Manson's team out. The storyline with El Zorro concluded at Triplemania XVII where Manson, X-Pac and Rocky Romero defeated El Zorro, Dark Ozz and Dark Scoria. In the summer of 2009 the storyline between Chessman and Charly Manso that had been brewing since Manson's return in the spring finally started to evolve, the two faced off in several tag team matches, leading into their first one-on-one match at the 2009 Verano de Escandalo event.
The feud also spread out to independent promotions International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) and Perros del Mal Producciones (PdM); in IWRG, the groups feuded over the IWRG Intercontinental Trios Championship, which Los Psycho Circus successfully defended against Los Perros, while in PdM, the two groups faced each other in a Masks vs. Hairs steel cage match, which ended with Super Crazy having his hair head shaved off. In May 2011, AAA announced that the promotion was going to crown their first ever World Trios Champions and started a tournament with the finals being held at Triplemanía XIX. Los Psycho Circus advanced to the finals by defeating La Maniarquía (Chessman, Silver King and Último Gladiador) and The Black Family (Dark Cuervo, Dark Espíritu and Dark Ozz), while Los Perros del Mal advanced by defeating Real Fuerza Aérea (Aero Star, Argenis and Laredo Kid) and Los Bizarros (Charly Manson, Cibernético and Escoria) to set up a grudge match for the AAA World Trios Championship at Triplemanía XIX.
The first match of the Antonio Peña Memorial Show was a six-man Mini-Estrella match that saw the tecnico team of Mascarita Divina, Mini Charly Manson and Octagoncito defeat the rudo team of Mascarita de la Muerte, Mini Chessman and Mini Histeria. The second match on the undercard was a "AAA Special" Relevos Atómicos de locura match (Spanish for "Eight-man madness match") that featured two teams of four: a male wrestler, a female wrestler, an Exotico wrestler and a Mini-Estrella. The added stipulation here was that it was contested under "Lumberjack" rules, which means that other wrestlers surround the ring and is allowed to throw a wrestler back in the ring if they leave it. The team of Brazo de Plata (male), Faby Apache (female), Mascarita Sagrada (Mini-Estrella) and Pimpinela Escarlata (Exotico) defeated the Rudo team of El Brazo (male), Cinthia Moreno (Female), Mini Abismo Negro (Mini-Estrella) and Polvo de Estrellas (Exotico).
AAA Super Series at Tijuana (Mexico being part of the larger Caribbean Basin), where Holliday defeated Chessman to give his team an early advantage. The belt played a role in selling the high-end lifestyle of The Dynasty, being taken to places with nudist beaches, “gorgeous women [or] luxurious beachside cabanas“ and having stable members debate whether it was “the more relevant title” in MLW opposite the National Openweight Championship. The group would also visit the Caribbean for less scrupulous reasons, such as purchasing Vega’s childhood house at Puerto Rico to turn it into a bed and breakfast. The storyline evolved to feature Holliday demanding that the Caribbean Heavyweight Championship was incorporated, or “naturalized”, as an official title within MLW and have him recognized as incumbent. In response, “MLW’s CEO [Court Bauer] met with Puerto Rican government officials about hosting a Caribbean Heavyweight Championship title fight“ to be held in 2021 (tentatively at the Roberto Clemente Stadium in Carolina).
He even enlisted Platt's help in securing reform, such as in the spring of 1899, when Platt pressured state senators to vote for a civil service bill that the secretary of the Civil Service Reform Association called "superior to any civil service statute heretofore secured in America". Chessman argues that as governor, Roosevelt developed the principles that shaped his presidency, especially insistence upon the public responsibility of large corporations, publicity as a first remedy for trusts, regulation of railroad rates, mediation of the conflict of capital and labor, conservation of natural resources and protection of the less fortunate members of society. Roosevelt sought to position himself against the excesses of large corporations on the one hand and radical movements on the other. As the chief executive of the most populous state in the union, Roosevelt was widely considered a potential future presidential candidate, and supporters such as William Allen White encouraged him to run for president.
La Sociedad defeated Charlie Haas, Super Crazy & Tony Wilson at PDM The War at Auditorio Municipal Fausto Gutierrez Moreno in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. On July 3, 2011, Konnan, together with El Canek and El Rayo de Jalisco Jr, defeated Los Hermanos Dinamita (Cien Caras, Mascara Ano 2000, and Universo 2000) by disqualification at International Wrestling Revolution Group's Festival De Las Mascaras 2011 at Arena Naucalpan in Naucalpan de Juarez, Estado de Mexico, Mexico. After the match both Electroshock and Heavy Metal were attacked by members of La Sociedad, bringing the former rivals together to fight a common enemy. Just two days later, Los Maniacos surprisingly lost the AAA World Tag Team Championship to Extreme Tiger and Jack Evans, after which Silver King and Último Gladiador were seemingly about to break up, but were brought back together by La Legión Extranjera member Chessman, with whom they would re–form Los Maniacos under the new name La Maniarquía. La Maniaquía was booked to settle their grudge with Electroshock and Heavy Metal at Triplemanía XIX in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match, for which the técnicos recruited a veteran of hardcore wrestling, Joe Líder, whose partner, Nicho el Millonario, La Maniarquía had injured, as the third member of their team.
The “Hirschberg test” begins with critique against the preliminary inquiries concerning Josef Issels and Bruno Gröning. Campbell's film career began in 1950, with a small part in the John Garfield film, The Breaking Point. After several years of similar supporting performances in a number of films, including as a co-pilot in William Wellman's The High and the Mighty (1954), he won his first starring role in Cell 2455 Death Row (1955), a low-budget prison film for Columbia Pictures. He played a death row inmate, based loosely on the true story of Caryl Chessman, who staunchly proclaimed his innocence and obtained numerous reprieves over many years until finally being executed. Campbell's surprisingly powerful performance received generally good notices from critics, but it did very little for his career; his next several roles were again providing support to lead actors, including A Man Without a Star (1955), Love Me Tender (1956) in which he became the first person to lip sync portions of a song onscreen (actually recorded on August 24, 1956 by the Ken Darby Trio) with Elvis Presley and the 1958 film version of Norman Mailer's The Naked and the Dead.
Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Been later lived in Park Forest, south of Chicago, where he attended high school and formed his first band, The Chessman. After graduation, he moved to Chicago, where he was a member of the band Aorta at the time of their second album Aorta 2, in 1970. The show consisted of eight matches including a Lucha de Apuestas, or "Bet match" between Cibernético and El Hijo del Perro Aguayo where both men wagered their hair on the outcome of the match, a five-way match for the vacant AAA World Tag Team Championship, a match between Blue Demon, Jr. and El Mesías for the vacant AAA Latin American Championship, an eight-person Atomicos match, and a singles match between Chessman and Heavy Metal, with the winner earning a shot at El Texano, Jr.'s AAA Mega Championship later in the event.
