Right after the founding of FK Železnik Inđija, the predecessor of FK Inđija, the pitch was closed off with a fence and covered wooden seats were built. The capacity was about 600 seats. A Changeroom as part of the stadium wasn't built until 1962. Until then the Changeroom was in a Sport cafe across the stadium.

The rooms are usually individual rooms in which a person tries on clothes to determine fit before making a purchase. People do not always use the fitting rooms to change, as to change implies to remove one set of clothes and put on another. Sometimes a person chooses to try on clothes over their clothes (such as sweaters or coats), but would still like to do this in private.

Alternatively, they may have a locker room attendant who will keep a person's belongings until one comes to retrieve them. The ablutions areas have been rearranged and the formal rooms fronting George and Bathurst Streets are identified as offices. Terracotta partitions were used on timber floors to alter part of the original Dining Room for the men's lavatory, and the remainder as the women's changeroom. Sandy Bay was given permission by the Hobart City Council to use Queenborough Oval in Sandy Bay as its home ground and a weatherboard changeroom was erected on the site of where the Graeme Mackey Stand and Pavilion would be built twenty years later. Sandy Bay's emblem was the Seagull, generally thought to be named after all the seagulls that hung around the waterfront suburb where the club was located. The amount ultimately raised by those who have been affectionately called "the Men of Westminster" was $320,000. The school commenced on 7 February 1961. At the first assembly, broadcast on radio station 5KA, the Headmaster's opening address began with the words, "Let the life of the school begin". The foundation Headmaster, Douglas Forder, presided over an initial enrolment of 143 students with a staff of seven. The initial buildings comprised a single classroom block (known as "200" Block), the Headmaster's residence and a changeroom block.

In December 2008 the Launceston City Council proposed a $7 million development for a replacement Northern Stand. The project includes the relocation of the old Northern Stand's heritage roof into part of the redevelopment of facilities at Invermay Park. The old structure at York Park will be replaced with a 2,125-seat grandstand which will include three AFL compliant changerooms, an AFL umpire changeroom, a corporate facility for 936 people in corporate boxes, suites and function rooms, coaches boxes, along with statistician, timekeepers and print media rooms. Post-match press conference, drug testing, and radio rooms will also be included.

The Bungaree Football & Netball Club is an Australian rules football club from Bungaree, Victoria which competes in the Central Highlands Football League. The Demons are one of the founding members of the CHFL and most widely recognised through their best export, former St Kilda captain, Victorian representative and media personality Danny Frawley. The Demons play their home games at the Bungaree Recreation Reserve which underwent a full redevelopment in 2012, with the changeroom facility being named the Danny Frawley Pavilion. Bungaree emerged from a lean decade in the 2000s to play four preliminary finals in a row from 2012–15, culminating in their first premiership in 23 years in 2014 with a 9-goal thrashing of arch rivals Springbank.

Whilst at Trinity he was interviewed by The Sunday Age in an article on corporal punishment and discussed the changes in attitudes in independent boys schools since the 1960s, having experienced them first-hand as a student and teacher; ::He went to a school where "you had to have a medical certificate to play tennis because they had to fill six teams of rugby". In his schooldays, most mothers were at home; now most are in the workforce. He believes the change in the roles of men and women has altered the formerly macho culture of boys' schools. "The notion that if you put a lot of boys together it becomes like the changeroom after a football game bears no resemblance to boys' schools these days," he says.
