Ted Prior (born August 9, 1959) is an American actor, film producer, bodybuilder and model. He is known for his frequent lead roles in action films directed by his brother David A. Prior. Born in Newark, New Jersey, Prior first moved to Los Angeles, California in the late 1970s to pursue his career as a bodybuilder. By the early 1980s he and he worked as a dancer for the troupe Chippendales, and was a centrefold model for Playgirl magazine.

Andrew Stimpson (born 1980 in Largs, Scotland) is a former glamour model, who was once cover boy and centrefold of Euroboy magazine. He tested negative for HIV fourteen months after three initial tests returned a positive result. In 2013 Darragh exhibited 'Doctor, 2013' at Gus Fisher Gallery in the show 'A Different view: artists address pornography'. The exhibition examined the impact of the pornography industry on New Zealand society and sought to open up a conversation about the 'silent business'. The artwork which she exhibited in this show (Doctor, 2013) was taken from a Hustler centrefold, then enlarged and printed onto a PVC skin which was a reference to the advertising industry. Previous work has also included assemblages with dildos (Mussell Mirror and Flicker of Life, 1987), as well as direct painting onto pornographic images using white-out.

When nineteen, Kent made his first parachute jump and found skydiving to be an opportunity to fulfil his passions for both adventure and photography. While still relatively inexperienced Kent had a photograph published as the centrefold of “Parachutist” Magazine which led to offers of commission to shoot for movies, television and various print media. His first skydiving film was entitled Ride a Cloud, and Kent went on to make numerous films targeted at the skydiving fraternity, such as Kinisthesia, Wings, Willing to Fly and From Wings came Flight. Chet feels surprised at and repelled by a centrefold of a black Playmate he comes across, bringing about the realization of racist feelings he has. Peter Bagge does "The Chester" When finishing The Playboy, Brown felt guilt over still looking at Playmates and credits having come out in print with helping him overcome his shame. While many have interpreted the book as a condemnation of pornography, to Brown it is about the guilt he was made to feel for using the media.

While Wood recorded the remainder of the record in Phonogram, several tracks were left in the first studio and he could not retrieve them until the dispute was settled, thus leaving him unsure of when the album could be released, even after recording had finished. Dick Plant and Mike Pela engineered the Dea Lane Lea sessions and Pete Oliff, Roger Wake and Steve Brown engineered at Phonogram. Also credited as an engineer, Wood produced and performed the entire album alone, in addition to painting the album cover and cartoons in the centrefold. Wood explained that he believed solo albums should feature a sole performer, as opposed to artists who hire session musicians like "flippin' Leon Russell and so on" to contribute ideas.

Shoot was noted throughout the 1970s and 1980s for the quality of its news stories and articles on all aspects of football in England and Scotland. Every week’s edition featured a colour two- page centrefold photo of a team, and several other glossy colour photographs of players from the top teams, usually but not exclusively in the first division. The magazine also had a "Focus On" feature that, along with the colour photo of a player, asked him to reveal some basic biographical information as well as some personal information, such as his favourite entertainer or his least favourite opponent. Throughout the 1970s the interviewed players' answer to 'person in the world you would most like to meet' was overwhelmingly boxer Muhammad Ali.

According to band leader Holopainen, he was very clear from the beginning that there should be "not a single living thing" in the picture, and believes that the picture holds a "sublime but desolate, 'all this is waiting for you, and only you' feeling". What would ultimately become the cover was originally designed as album's centrefold image, but once Holopainen and a few others had seen it, they decided that it should be the cover. The picture was thus cut to fit a CD, but the original version, without cutting and without the band name across it, was released as a teaser in September 2011 on the band's website. Except what is seen on the album, this version also features more parts of the roller coaster as well as several zeppelins floating in the air above the park.

Coldplay vocalist Chris Martin revealed that during the recording sessions for the band's fourth album, Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends, the band intended to record and write extra songs not meant for inclusion on the album, and "Glass of Water" was one of these songs. Martin said that the songs from Prospekt's March, including "Glass of Water", and the songs from Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends are "all part of the same family." Indeed, the song contains similar lyrical themes to songs from Viva la Vida and is referenced in the booklet of the album; its title and some of its lyrics appear on a painting in the album booklet's centrefold, and the first page of the booklet is a map of Brazil with lyrics from "Glass of Water" scribbled over it in crayon. Before the release of a studio recording of the song, "Glass of Water" was debuted to the public during the final concert of Coldplay's 2008 European leg of the Viva la Vida Tour, at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp, Belgium, and eventually become a regular part of the tour's set list.
