Conley is the most widely produced, living deaf playwright, his plays explore a broad palette – from the Deaf perspective – of circumstances with and without hearing characters, allowing Deaf characters to interact minus the direct influence that the dominant (hearing) culture might exert. Conley is a full professor and chairperson of the Theatre Arts Department at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. Conley has been an Associate Artist with CenterStage in Baltimore(Maryland) since 1998 and an Affiliate Artist with Quest: Arts for Everyone in Lanham(Maryland).

BOPA coordinates Baltimore's major events including New Year's Eve and July 4 celebrations at the Inner Harbor, Artscape which is America's largest free arts festival, Baltimore Book Festival, Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar, School 33 Art Center's Open Studio Tour and the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade. The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra is an internationally renowned orchestra, founded in 1916 as a publicly funded municipal organization. The current Music Director is Marin Alsop, a protégé of Leonard Bernstein. Centerstage is the premier theater company in the city and a regionally well-respected group.

The facility and organization once known as the Carpenter Center for the Performing Arts merged with the Virginia Performing Arts Foundation in the early 2000s. After major fundraising and advocacy campaign, and a private-public partnership with the City of Richmond, the Thalhimers Department Store, adjacent to the Carpenter Center, was purchased as part of the strategic plan to create the then-envisioned performing arts center. Once construction was complete, the entire complex was renamed Richmond CenterStage and expanded to include the Altria Theater. The center now contains five venues in two distinct locations.

KJ Sanchez (born Karen June Sanchez) is an American theatre actor, director, and playwright. She is currently an associate professor at The University of Texas at Austin, where she serves as head of the MFA Directing program. Sanchez is the founder/CEO of American Records As a playwright, she has been produced at Actors Theater of Louisville, Berkeley Repertory Theater, Two River Theater, Baltimore’s CENTERSTAGE, off-Broadway at Urban Stages, and Round House Theater, among others. She has directed plays by Dan Dietz, Kyle Schmidt, Heather Raffo, Jose Rivera, Quiara Alegría Hudes, and Kristoffer Diaz.

"Where I live, with the French influence, it's the foods that are very important, and literature — all this probably more important than sports and music." In Supermoon (2007), Daulne's vocals take centerstage. "When the audience appreciates the art of the artist, the audience becomes the sun and makes the artist shine as a full moon," says Daulne. Supermoon is also one of Daulne's most personal statements with songs like "Princess Kesia," an ode to her daughter and how she is no longer a baby but a beautiful girl.

The production was directed by Dennis Lickteig and music directed by Joe Simiele with Stage Management by Blake Kennedy. Khan is also the producer of the comedy show The Improv (India) under the Centerstage banner. Khan has conceptualized, hosted and directed the entire show with 6 to 7 actors by taking scenarios from a live audience, with the actors performing them on the spot. The Improv was the first national act which was presented by Black Dog Easy Evenings in Hyderabad, after they toured with performers such as Russell Peters, Robert Schneider, and the team of Whose Line Is It Anyway? The Improv toured internationally with well received shows in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

After CenterStage, Khan moved into ideating and creating something with Danish Sait that changed the face of Kannada Filmmaking- Humble Politician Nograj. The movie was a satirical take on a politician's personal life and what happens when you vote someone into power. Humble Politician Nograj also created a buzz by becoming the first Kannada film to be picked up by Amazon Prime at a promising price. With web series and online shows catching up with the audiences, Khan and team decided to give it an online push with a series.

Ensembles are adjudicated by noted Canadian and U.S. professionals in the jazz, band, orchestra and choral fields. Classifications are either by age (Jazz and Choral) or by an established level set by test piece (Concert Bands and Orchestras). Performing ensembles are ranked according to gold, silver, and bronze; awards and scholarships are also presented to individual musicians. In addition MusicFest hosts 6 National honour ensembles; the Woodshed Canadian Percussion Ensemble, the Denis Wick Canadian Wind Orchestra, the Thomastik-Infeld Canadian String Orchestra, the Ellison Canadian Concert Choir, the Conn-Selmer Centerstage Jazz Band and the National Youth Jazz Combo.

Michael Goldberg came into prominence in the late 1950s, early 1960s just as Color field painting, Hard-edge painting and Pop Art emerged onto centerstage. With the changing of fashions in the art world; his greatest accomplishments as a painter weren't sufficiently recognized; and as many of his generation his work was overlooked for many years. Although by the 1970s and 1980s his work began to achieve recognition and appreciation and he enjoyed a long, successful and a celebrated career as an abstract painter. His work like others of the abstract expressionist generation expressed a painterly integration of Western metaphysics and Eastern philosophy.

Union Hill is a historic district of Richmond, Virginia. According to the Richmond Times Dispatch, the neighborhood "generally is bordered on the south by East Marshall Street and Jefferson Avenue, on the west by Mosby Street, on the north by O and Carrington streets, and angled on the east by North 25th Street."Carol Hazard, Richmond's Union Hill neighborhood centerstage for thorny issues associated with development, Richmond Times-Dispatch (May 7, 2017). The neighborhood is on the Virginia Landmarks Register and the National Register of Historic Places, and is also one of sixteen designated "Old and Historic Districts" in Richmond.

In addition to its local newscasts and ABC network programs, WHSV produces other locally produced programs: The Endzone is a 40-minute sports highlight program covering high school football games across the Shenandoah Valley that airs Fridays at 11:25 p.m. during the high school football season. Sports X-tra is an online sports discussion show produced by WHSV's sports department, covering sports news from the previous week. The station also produces the Sunday morning religious program Light for Today, which broadcasts from People's Baptist Church in Harrisonburg, and broadcasts the music and variety show Virginia Dreams Centerstage.

The Altria Theater is currently a very popular venue, hosting the Richmond Forum, the Broadway in Richmond Series and a number of other headliner musical and comedy acts. In 2012 Richmond City Council authorized an allocation of $14MM to contribute to the renovation and restoration of the Landmark. Honest, moving, and surprisingly funny, this play is based entirely on interviews with Marines and their families.” ReEntry was commissioned and produced by Two River Theater Company, and received further productions at Urban Stages, Baltimore’s CENTERSTAGE, Round House Theater Company, Actors Theater of Louisville, and more. In addition to these productions, ReEntry also tours and, through American Records, works directly with the military. The United States Department of Defense uses the play as post-deployment resiliency training, for which the company goes to bases and performs the play followed by town-hall and break-out discussions with base chaplains, social workers, psychiatrists and therapists.

Francesa and Russo never did a show specifically for YES, so the network usually showed reruns of its original programming like Yankees Classics, Yankeeography or CenterStage in its place. When both Francesa and Russo had the day off, YES does not broadcast the show, although other WFAN hosts, usually led by Joe Benigno, replaced Francesa and Russo as the hosts of the Mike and the Mad Dog show, complete with theme music. This was apparently because Francesa and Russo were paid additional salary by YES for the show, while other WFAN hosts are not. YES did simulcast with the substitute hosts in its first couple of years.

The Carpenter Theatre (named for the E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Foundation) is the historic 1,800 seats proscenium theater mentioned above. Dorothy Pauley Square refers to the newer 4-story building attached to the Carpenter Theatre and contains 3 venues / areas: Libby S. Gottwald Playhouse, a 200-seat flexible playhouse; Rhythm Hall, a jazz / cabaret space; and, Showcase Gallery, a reception areas and gallery for the visual arts. The Altria Theater, a 3,600 seat performance hall, is the fifth venue, located a mile west of the Carpenter / Dorothy Pauley Square location. The third and fourth floors of Dorothy Pauley Square contain office space currently occupied by CenterStage staff, as well as Richmond Symphony and Virginia Opera staffs.

Right after completing college, Saad Khan wrote and directed two short films, Another Kind of Black and On My Mind. The former was selected at the Short Film Corner of the Cannes Film Festival, and the latter was shot in the south of the US and was screened at the Acadiana Film Festival. On his return to India, Khan assisted Ashutosh Gowariker in the Bollywood film Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey almost immediately. After a 2-year stint in Mumbai, he founded his media company Centerstage in Bangalore, which holds acting, communication and media workshops, produces stage shows, manages casting for films, ads, television commercials, viral videos and provides opportunities to aspiring artists in the city.

Since its establishment, the Center has organized yearly Performing Arts Festivals which have showcased the different performing arts groups of the school. These groups include the DLSZ Symphony Orchestra, the DLSZ Strings, the DLSZ Band, the DLSZ Chorale, the Rondalla Ensemble and in addition, the Center continues to hold yearly productions of hit musicals, a tradition started during the early years of Zobel. It has also hosted a number of performing groups from De La Salle University such as the DLSU Pops Orchestra, the DLSU Chorale, and the Chamber Ensemble. Activities, which have been organized at the Center, have been facilitated by highly acclaimed organizations including the UP Theater Arts, CenterStage, Ballet Philippines, Philippine Madrigal Singers, Philippine Ballet Theatre, and the Royal Academy of Dance.

On January 1, 2020, GMA Network begin the celebration of its 70th anniversary and Flagship International Channel - GMA Pinoy TV begin the celebration of its 15th anniversary with a variation of its current slogan: Buong Puso Para sa Pilipino (as GMA Network) and Buong Puso Para sa Kapuso Abroad (as GMA Pinoy TV). Along with their Anniversary celebration, they also revealed new programs in line for 2020, which was started by All-Out Sundays, Descendants of the Sun, the remake of 1984 Philippine film Anak ni Waray vs. Anak ni Biday, Love of My Life, Saturday edition of Wowowin (also dubbed as Wowowin Primetime), Centerstage, Ilaban Natin 'Yan! (which first known as "Doon Tayo Sa Tama"), and the remake of 1989 film Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit.

The repertoire of army bands are distinct to the regiment/corps they belong. Army bands typically have first priority in the changing of the Queen's Guard at Buckingham Palace, with the Household Division (Foot Guards and the Band of the Household Cavalry) taking centerstage in most occasions. All personnel wear the full or service dress uniforms, the former with the colours of their respective formations, save for the Household Cavalry, whose band uses in important occasions the 1665 State Dress. The final performance was made into a DVD: Rent: Filmed Live on Broadway. Thoms reprised her role as Joanne for another production of Rent, directed by Neil Patrick Harris, at the Hollywood Bowl from August 6–8, 2010. In the fall of 2010 she appeared in the concert revue For The Record: Quentin Tarantino in Los Angeles, presented by ROCKLA for Show at Barre.

During her convalescence, in her own words she "found God", and decided finally to give up her career in music. In 1983, under her married name of Margie Day Walker, she launched a community effort in Norfolk, Virginia, aiming to develop and train children in the area in the performing and visual arts, to help foster their intellectual growth, emotional and moral development, and self-esteem. This became the Centerstage children's arts workshop, a not for profit organization incorporated in January 1985, with Margie Day Walker as Executive Director, and which now finds and develops talented children and coaches them in art, drama, music and dance.Centerstage project history In 2010, rights-management firm Beach Road Music, LLC, acquired the Coed Records catalog, subsequently re-releasing three digitally re-mastered 1961 Margie Day singles on the compilation album From The Vault: The Coed Records Lost Master Tapes, Volume 1.

Jim Knipple is a stage director and founding Artistic Director of the Run of the Mill Theater Company in Baltimore, MD. His productions have won several awards, including Best Production (CityPaper) and Best Experimental Production (Greater Baltimore Theater Awards). Most recently he co-founded and co- produced World Premiere Weekend, a new play festival at UC Irvine, where he directed and/or produced new plays from Neil LaBute, Erik Ehn, Charles L. Mee, Brooke Berman, Jamie Pacino, and over 30 other playwrights, in spaces as varied as traditional theaters, outdoor plazas, stairwells, and public restrooms. He graduated in June, 2009, with his MFA in Directing from the University of California, Irvine. Baltimore/DC credits include plays at Artscape, Spotlighters, Vagabond Theater, Silver Spring Stage, the Baltimore Playwrights Festival, and Company 13, and he has thrice directed for the Maryland Young Playwrights Festival at CENTERSTAGE. West coast credits include assistant director/assistant dramaturg for Cornerstone Theater Company’s A Holtville Night’s Dream, assistant directing the world premiere of Richard Greenberg's The Injured Party at South Coast Repertory, and directing A Body of Water at Ark Theater.
