O'Brien won a tight race due to high voter turnout in the mining camps.
Within months it was providing players to the County Hurling Team and making an impact in club competitions within the county, reaching the final of the Breffni Cup (senior hurling). In 1956, several GAA clubs in the East and North Midlands area came together with other, neighbouring clubs, including Lincoln, Stoke, Derby and Alfreton to form the Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire County Board. Around 1960, Stoke relocated to Warwickshire and Leicester joined and the board was renamed the East Midlands County Board, which enjoyed ten years of activity before it folded in 1970, due to a lack of new players migrating to the region. At this stage four clubs remained, St. Barnabas, St Colman's (Derby), St Colmcilles (Leicester) and Geraldines (Lincoln).
His penultimate single "It's Got To Be You", and an unreleased version of Otis Redding's "I Can't Turn You Loose", showed that a mix of R&B; and soul may have been where his future musical path lay. In 1966, one of the anonymous musicians, organist Ray Soaperborn 9 May 1941, Lewisham, South East London contacted some mates. Mick Stewart (lead guitar), Nick Simper (bass) and Roger Truth (drums) came together with Soper and presented themselves to Kidd as his new Pirates. With his newly-christened "New Pirates" (necessarily distinguishing them from the other "Pirates"), a revitalised Kidd worked towards a comeback to the point he spoke about the possibility of recording a new album.

On August 18, 2012, the former members of La Secta came together with former leader Cibernético's stable Los Bizarros to form La Secta Bizarra Cibernetica. As part of La Secta Bizarra's rivalry with Los Perros del Mal, the two groups faced off on October 7 at Héroes Inmortales in a Domo de la Muerte, where Cuervo was the last person to escape the cage, forcing Halloween to have his head shaved bald. On August 2, 2013, the entire La Secta turned on Cibernético, forming a new rudo version of the stable. On September 11, Cuervo returned to All Japan Pro Wrestling, losing to Low Ki in the first round of the 2013 Ōdō Tournament.
The necessity to build a new stadium for Legia Warszawa players increased in the mid-1990s, when Legia had one of the most successful periods in its history. Polish championship (Ekstraklasa) (1993 - withdrawn, 1994, 1995), Polish Cup (1995, 1997), semi-final of the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup (1991) and the quarter- final of the UEFA Champions League (1996) strengthened the demand to modernize or even replace the old facility. Ultimately, however, until 1997 virtually nothing on this subject has been done. The complicated legal status of the land, which belonged to the military, effectively discouraged potential investors. The new hope came together with the new owners – Daewoo company, which bought the majority stake in Legia in the late 1996.
Physically, the table was rectangular (unlike the Polish model which was literally round). It was set up as a forum in which members of East German government-aligned organizations (such as the so-called bloc parties, trade unions, etc.) came together with representatives of the new citizens’ movements (such as Democracy Now, Democratic Awakening, and New Forum) to discuss and advance reforms in the German Democratic Republic (East Germany), advising the executive until free elections could be held. There were 39 representatives at the Central Round Table, 33 of whom were entitled to vote. Seventeen of them represented new oppositional groups and political parties, and sixteen were from political parties and organizations that had been part of the communist-dominated East German government.
At the back of the field John Filippi collided with Engstler which brought out the safety car for a second time, Chilton meanwhile was issued with a drive–through penalty for causing the collision with Morbidelli on the opening lap. The race resumed on lap 12, Loeb tried to pass Borković at the first corner and the pair came together with Loeb being pushed into a half spin. On lap 14 López passed Monteiro to take the lead, Muller followed through and took part of Monteiro's front bumper off as he went through. On lap 17 Valente drifted wide allowing Huff to have a look, the pair touched with Valente going wide and Morbidelli behind saw an opportunity to pass and move himself up to ninth place.
In the 1950s and 1960s, large sections of East Harlem were leveled for urban renewal projects, and the neighborhood was one of the hardest hit areas in the 1960s and 1970s as New York City struggled with deficits, race riots, urban flight, gang warfare, drug abuse, crime and poverty. Tenements were crowded, poorly maintained, and frequent targets for arson. In 1969 and 1970, a regional chapter of the Young Lords which were reorganized from a neighborhood street gang in Chicago by Jose (Cha-Cha) Jimenez, ran several programs including a Free Breakfast for Children and a Free Health Clinic to help Latino and poor families. The Young Lords came together with the Black Panthers and called for Puerto Rican independence and neighborhood empowerment.
Ken Stringfellow, a member of The Posies and Big Star, first came together with SALT's other founding members at Abbey Road Studios in London, during July 2015 recording sessions for Supercalifragile, the final album by Game Theory. Stringfellow was producing the posthumous album after the 2013 death of Scott Miller, who had founded Game Theory in the 1980s and The Loud Family in the 1990s. Miller had been a friend and musical collaborator with all three founding members of SALT, who had never previously met one another. Stéphane Schück, a Paris-based physician specializing in public health and epidemiology, had co-written four of Supercalifragiles songs with Miller, and Miller had produced a demo recording by Schück's onetime band, Swan Plastic Swan.
"Honey at the Core" was the name given to two compilation cassettes of then up-and-coming Scottish rock artists issued in the 1980s and 1990s. The first cassette - which came together with a fanzine giving further details of the artists - was released in 1986 having been compiled by future Glasgow Herald journalist John Williamson. It is notable for providing the general public with early recordings of future stars such as Wet Wet Wet, Deacon Blue and Hue and Cry, as well as a monologue by Bing Hitler (aka Craig Ferguson). The second cassette - featuring rare tracks by The Proclaimers, BMX Bandits and Teenage Fanclub - is entitled "Honey at the Core (Part 2)", all profits being donated to the Yorkhill Children's Trust.
In the story the Odyssey, Hermes gave this herb to Odysseus to protect him from Circe's wizardry when he went to her palace to rescue his friends. These friends came together with him from the island Aeolus after they escaped from the Laestrygonians. According to the "New History" of Ptolemy Hephaestion (according to Photius) and Eustathius, the plant mentioned by Homer grew from the blood of the Giant Picolous killed on Circe's island, by Helios, father and ally of Circe, when the Giant tried to attack Circe. In this description the flower was white, either after the white Sun that killed him, or the fact that Circe grew pale of terror, and a derivation of the name was given, from the "hard" (Greek malos) combat with the Giant.
With the help of art critic Sanento Yuliman, Siti Adiyati and the ASRI cohort involved in Black December came together with ASRI graduate Martoyo Hartoyo, and like-minded ITB students Bachtiar Zainul, Pandu Sudewo, Prayinto, and Jim Supangkat to organise what was initially called the New Art Group (Kelompok Seni Rupa Baru). They would stage four exhibitions from August 1975 to October 1979, three of which took place at the Taman Ismail Marzuki Cultural Center (TIM). They would not call themselves GSRB until their final exhibition in 1979, which was when the group also published their manifesto, Five Lines of Attack of the New Indonesian Art Movement (Lima Jurus Gebrakan Gerakan Seni Rupa Baru). After gaining and losing members, GSRB would consist of 28 individuals by the final exhibition.
In 1999, a group of human rights organizations began to meet, seeking to participate in a coordinated way in local and national initiatives in favor of the memory of the last dictatorship in Argentina. The main objective was to contribute to the elaboration of the memory of what happened during State terrorism and to the construction of a later democracy to strengthen and promote respect for human rights. The participating organizations came together with the conviction that a joint action would make them stronger in their struggle. The initial work of Memoria Abierta included actions aimed at founding a Memory Museum, an extensive program of archival treatment of historical-institutional documents of human rights organizations and the construction of an Oral Archive of testimonies in film format on State terrorism.
Following June's Aniversario: Never Compromise Chikara went inactive for eight months, during which The Batiri, despite being rudos, came together with other Chikara wrestlers to fight for the return of the promotion against the Flood, a united group of rudos from its past. The storyline culminated on February 1, 2014, during the second National Pro Wrestling Day, where the Chikara roster defeated the united group in a mass brawl, leading to the promotion announcing its return. On May 25 at Chikara's return event, You Only Live Twice, The Batiri defeated Sinn Bodhi and the Odditorium (Oliver Grimsly and Qefka the Quiet) via disqualification following a low blow by Bodhi. At the end of the event, Kobald was in storyline killed during a brawl between the Chikara roster and the Flood.

Vavasseur installed Soldier Ant as the leader of this new group, collectively known as The Colony: Xtreme Force, who immediately started a rivalry with the original Colony. The rivalry also saw Vavasseur strip The Colony of their King of Trios medals and award them to The Colony: Xtreme Force. After mixed success with the new Ants throughout March, Soldier Ant ultimately ended his affiliation with the Colony: Xtreme Force by (kayfabe) quitting Chikara after they defeated the Colony on April 29 at the event The Shoulder of Pallas. When Chikara went inactive following June 2013's Aniversario: Never Compromise, The Colony came together with other Chikara wrestlers to battle a united group of rudos from the promotion's past, including both Gekido and The Colony: Xtreme Force, who were trying to permanently kill off Chikara.
During his reign as Malankara Metropolitan, the prominent clergy, laymen and zealous students including members of the diaspora came together with the idea of initiating a Students' Movement of the Church by late 1907. The first annual conference of this Movement was held at Balikamadom School, Thiruvalla on 1, 2 and 3 January 1908 with the blessings of Mar Dionysius V. During this conference, Rev Fr. V. J. Geevarghese Ramban (of Vattasseril) made a captivating speech on 'The Rituals in our Church'. This Movement grew in strength and stretch, expanding its reach to the students abroad with the motto Worship, Study, Service, assuming the name Mar Gregorios Christian Students Movement commemorating St. Gregorios of Parumala as its patron saint. That is the student movement of Orthodox Syrian Student Movement.
Influenced heavily by the Beast and enthusiastic about the power of collaboration, several Cloudmakers came together with the idea that they could create a similar game. The first effort to make an independent Beast-like game, Ravenwatchers, failed, but another team soon assembled and met with greater success. With very little experience behind them, the group managed, after nine months of development, to create a viable game that was soon seized upon eagerly by the Cloudmakers group and featured in WIRED Magazine. As players of the Beast, members of the Lockjaw development team were extremely aware of the community playing the game and took steps to encourage the tight bonding of the player base through highly collaborative puzzles, weekly Euchre games, and the inclusion of player personas in the game.

In the Indians' match against Surrey beginning on 11 May, in their first innings a last wicket partnership of 249 between Sarwate and Banerjee took the score from 205/9 to 454 all out. This is still the second highest last wicket partnership in all first-class cricket, the highest in England and the highest partnership between numbers 10 and 11. (The only higher last wicket partnership was between numbers 4 and 11.) Sarwate and Banerjee came together with the score at 205/9 and took just over three hours to add 249 before Banerjee was out for 121, leaving Sarwate not out on 124. It was also the only time in first-class cricket that numbers 10 and 11 both scored a century in the same innings.
The Society was established in 1805 as Medical and Chirurgical Society of London, meeting in two rooms in barristers’ chambers at Gray's Inn and then moving to Lincoln's Inn Fields where it stayed for 25 years. In 1834 the Society moved to Berners Street and was granted a Royal Charter by King William IV. In 1889 under the leadership of Sir John MacAlister, a Building Committee chaired by Timothy Holmes supervised the move of the quarters of the Society from Berners Street to 20 Hanover Square. In 1905 an eleven-member committee headed by Sir Richard Douglas Powell organised the celebration of the Society's centenary. Two years later the Royal Medical and Chirurgical Society of London came together with seventeen specialist medical societies and, with a supplementary Royal Charter granted by Edward VII, became the Royal Society of Medicine.
This led to a match at Invasion Attack 2015, where Bennett and Taven defeated Anderson and Gallows to become the new IWGP Tag Team Champions, largely thanks to Bennett's wife Maria Kanellis distracting Anderson. After the event, Bullet Club recruited Gallows' wife Amber Gallows to take part in the first NJPW match involving female wrestlers since October 2002. The match took place at Wrestling Dontaku 2015 and saw Bennett, Taven and Kanellis defeat Anderson and the two Gallows with Kanellis pinning Amber for the win, after low blowing Anderson. Throughout the match, NJPW continued a storyline, where Anderson's infatuation with Kanellis distracted him from the match, but after the loss, Anderson turned on Kanellis and came together with Doc to perform their signature double-team move, Magic Killer, on her, before being chased away from the ring by Bennett and Taven.
Coastal Surge was founded in October 2011 by a group of people on the Atlantic Coast of South Carolina who wanted to build a drum and bugle corps that would not only provide a solid educational and entertainment program for its students but would also be financially stable over the years. After laying a foundation for the organization, the decision was made in January, 2013 to field an exhibition corps for a short tour. Locating a viable rehearsal site after several false starts, the corps came together with a charter membership of 54 (25 brass, 19 percussion, 8 auxiliary guard, and 2 drum majors), mostly drum corps novices from South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee. The initial tour of exhibition performances in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey met with favorable results for both the corps and the audiences.
GoodBooks's evolution began when Max Cooke and Leo von Bülow-Quirk started doing Beatles covers in their attic when they were 8. It took till 2001 for the band to take shape when at Sevenoaks School in Kent, Cooke and von Bülow-Quirk came together with Chris Porter and JP Duncan to form The Fingerprints. The Fingerprints set about their musical career by self-recording two albums; Cards on the Table, Clothes on the Floor and Miranda. Tracks such as "Tangerine" appeared on local radio stations such as BBC Radio Kent and KMFM. The band also started gigging locally in the South-East during this time, with regular gigs at the Tunbridge Wells Forum helping them to develop a modest regional fanbase, performing in front of 8,000 people on one eventful Christmas. The Fingerprints disbanded in late 2004 when their bassist left.
He captured the vitality, visual clutter and shifting emotional flux of spectacle, schoolyard and early city in exuberantly colored paintings like City on the Make (2001) or Trolley (2007), whose puzzle-like compositions of geometric and sinuous shapes, are enlivened and held together by bold, undulating lines. Critics, and Conger, likened these works to a circus act, juggling unresolved tensions between flat and illusory space, compositional thrust and counter-thrust, and off-key color relationships that ARTnews said came together with an "uncanny sense of balance." William Conger, Say When, oil on canvas, 30" x 28", 2017 Intermittently, throughout his career, Conger has made and exhibited small paper and wood collages and gouache paintings. In 2010, he began showing very small gouache paintings—looser, immediate works that feature vital, cross-hatched strokes and serve as a form of experimentation.
Schama, pp. 337–348. All these disaffections came together with the putsch on June 12, 1798, of that recidivist, general Daendels, in which he disturbed a dinner party of Delacroix and three members of the Uitvoerend Bewind, violating the diplomatic immunity of the ambassador by putting pistols to his chest. The members of the Representative Assembly were arrested in session.Schama, pp. 350–352; Vreede and Fijnje temporarily evaded arrest by jumping from a window, but their colleague Stefanus Jacobus van Langen was badly roughed up by the putschists. The fall of the Vreede-Fijnje Bewind opened the way for the actual implementation of the new constitution. The "Interim Directory" that now came to power (consisting of a few of the dissenting Agenten) made haste with organizing elections for the Representative Assembly that convened on 31 July.

When the Ramones first came together, with Johnny Ramone on guitar, Dee Dee Ramone on bass and Joey Ramone on drums, Erdelyi was supposed to be the manager, but, even though he never played drums before, was drafted as the band's drummer when Joey became the lead singer, after realizing that he couldn't keep up with the Ramones' increasingly fast tempos. "Tommy Ramone, who was managing us, finally had to sit down behind the drums, because nobody else wanted to," Dee Dee later recalled. He remained as drummer from 1974 to 1978, playing on and co- producing their first three albums, Ramones, Leave Home, and Rocket to Russia, as well as the live album It's Alive. His final show as a Ramones drummer was at Johnny Blitz benefit event at CBGB's in New York, USA on May 4, 1978.
Crawford distinguished himself in the second England XI innings with a score of 90, his highest first-class score to date, "a fine piece of hitting (which) saved the scratch side from the ignominy of an innings defeat", The Times reported. A month later, Crawford improved on his best score: in the match against Worcestershire at Aylestone Road cricket ground, Leicester, he and the bowler William Odell came together with Leicestershire at 61 for eight wickets and proceeded to put on 160 for the ninth wicket. The partnership remains, 111 years on, Leicestershire's best in first-class cricket for the ninth wicket and is 75 years older than any of the county's other first-class partnership records. Crawford was left unbeaten on 99 when first Odell was run out and then, one run later, the No 11 batsman, Arthur Emmett, was also run out, without scoring.
During the 1970s and 1980s there has been a small but constant growth in FOI's laws, with a real expansion after 1989 due to the activism of civil society groups in Central and Eastern Europe during the post-Communist transitions to democracy. Indeed, the big push forward in the field of access to information leading to the broadening of the definition and of the scope of the right of access to information came together with a coordinated civil society reaction to contrast the control over the information exercised by Communist regimes in the Soviet bloc. It was this movement which fuelled the development of 'access to information' as a right in the sense of a human right. A 1992 decision of the Hungary's Constitutional Court established that access to information is a "fundamental right" that enable citizens to have an oversight on the lawfulness and efficiency of the government.
December 2012 saw the Military Wives Choirs round off a whirlwind year with representatives of the choirs singing as part of the Queen's Speech on Christmas Day. In December 2015, the Military Wives Choirs came together with Walking With The Wounded to produce the single I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) for the ‘Walking Home for Christmas’ campaign. The track is a festive recording of The Proclaimers’ hit song I’m Gonna Be (500 miles) and all proceeds from the single were donated to Walking With The Wounded and The Military Wives Choirs Foundation. February 2016 saw legendary singer Lulu team up with the Military Wives Choirs for the single ‘Cry’. The song was inspired by Lulu’s diagnosis of PTSD from the violence she experienced throughout her childhood and the affinity it helped her to feel with soldiers suffering from the same issue, albeit from different circumstances.
The band originated from a folk rock group known as the Disciples, which formed in 1965 when Wally Cook (rhythm guitar, harmonica), who previously worked in local band the Young Rabbits, came together with Jack Bryant (bass guitar, vocals) and Charlie Jones (lead guitar, vocals). Within a few months, the band became known as the Uncalled, followed by a name change to the Fallen Angels, and multiple personnel shifts that concluded with a solidified lineup consisting of Bryant, Cook, Howard Danchik (keyboards), Richard Kumer (drums) and Jack Lauritsen (rhythm guitar). The band quickly established themselves on the American music underground with their stage theatrics enriched by the group's political satire, and their ability to incorporate folk music, jazz, and psychedelia into their own cohesive sound. Much of the Fallen Angels' material was penned by Bryant with a close similarity to the Mothers of Invention.
Bob Morris was involved in a dramatic collision at the notorious McPhillamy Park corner during the 1981 Bathurst 1000. Morris' Falcon, when running in 2nd place, came together with the Falcon of Christine Gibson leading to a six car pile-up that blocked the track. The other cars involved were the Commodores of Garry Rogers and Tony Edmondson, the Gemini of David Seldon and the pole winning Chevrolet Camaro Z28 of Kevin Bartlett, with others such as John Goss in his Jaguar XJS narrowly avoiding the accident by stopping in time. As the track was blocked and the race had gone past 75% of the full distance, the officials declared the race over 43 laps short of the full distance (race regulations did not allow for a restart) and so the Bob Morris/John Fitzpatrick car was awarded 2nd place behind the similar Falcon of Dick Johnson and John French.
The Patient-Centered Primary Care Collaborative was created in late 2006, when several large national employers came together with the four major U.S. primary care physician associations in order to: #Advance an effective and efficient health system built on a strong foundation of primary care and the patient-centered medical home (PCMH) #Facilitate improvements in patient-physician relations #Create a more effective and efficient model of healthcare delivery To achieve these goals, the PCPCC has created an open forum where healthcare stakeholders freely communicate and work together to improve the future of the American medical system. The Collaborative has developed model language for inclusion in health reform proposals to include the PCMH concept. It also acts as a key source for the continued education of congressional representatives, the federal and state governments, and individual practices on the PCMH model as a superior form of healthcare delivery.
On August 4, 2017, J.T. Carter came together with a new group of "Crests", consisting of 17-year- old Peter Lemongello, Jr. and tenors Joe Rivera (formerly of Earl Lewis & The Channels) and Luis Mercado of The Fabulaires, to perform in an R&B; music festival in Indian Head, Maryland, the following day. After only one show, Mercado was replaced by D.R. Moyer, who had sung with a number of groups including The Platters, The Dubs, The Paragons and The Jarmels. Former Jarmels member Ray Orta was also called in as a fill-in replacement for Joe Rivera. On December 12, 2017, J.T. Carter's Crests performed at The Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park, New Jersey, along with over 40 other groups from the 1950s and '60s, as part of TJ Lubinsky's new PBS TV Special, "Doo Wop Generations" (part of the "My Music" series).
In 1996 organisations representing walking and mountaineering interests came together with land management and government bodies to draft Scotland's Hills and Mountains: A Concordat on Access, a voluntary code that sought to balance the interests of both access users and land managers. The concordat spoke of the need for access to be exercised responsibly, and so can in some ways can be seen as a forerunner to the modern Code, although it lacked legal status, and did not address access rights to inland waters. In 2003 a formal right to access was put into law via the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003. The act stated that "a person has access rights only if they are exercised responsibly", and tasked Scottish Natural Heritage with producing the Code so as to provide guidance to both access users and land managers on what behavior would be considered "responsible".
These three sons, according to our sources, now make up the three major kindred that today exist in the Umudunu village, Abagana. It is important to mention that other labourers who came together with Dunu, mainly from Awkuzu and other neighboring communities, were also allowed to co-habit the same areas with Dunu, but sometime later dispersed and went out either in Diaspora or back to their ancestral homes, but the remnants became diffused and mixed up with Dunu kindred. It is also worthy of mention that due to difficulties encountered by the children of Dunu in sourcing wives from the neighbouring communities, Dunu solved this problem by establishing a spiritual dimension called "Iti Ofo na Ala" which made it possible for a section of his own children to intermarry among themselves, and this has continued till today. Orofia is the second largest village in Abagana today in terms of population and land mass after Umudunu.
In March 2013, Bully Ray revealed himself as the President of Aces & Eights and began a feud with Hulk Hogan In August, Ray came together with the rest of the TNA locker room to battle the villainous Aces & Eights stable, who had been attacking random TNA wrestlers during the past months, in the process making a gradual face turn. In September, Ray, unlike his longtime tag team partner Devon, signed a two-year contract extension with TNA. On the September 6 episode of Impact Wrestling, Ray finished his Bound for Glory Series group stage with a win over Rob Van Dam, thus finishing third and advancing to the semifinals of the tournament. On September 9 at No Surrender, Ray defeated James Storm in his semifinal match, following interference from Bobby Roode, before losing to Jeff Hardy in the finals of the 2012 Bound for Glory Series, despite Hardy being attacked by the Aces & Eights before the match.
Wisden 1970, p. 888. He also played a leading part in South Australia's Sheffield Shield victory in 1970-71, opening the bowling with Jeff Hammond and taking 23 wickets at 19.00. The need for a regulatory agency of the Mexican financial institutions came together with the creation of the Mexican financial system in the late nineteenth century. The first response to this need was reflected in the Speaking specifically of Mexican financial institutions, the first response to this need was reflected in the Ley General de Instituciones de Crédito, which gave the SHCP responsibility for oversight of the credit system in Mexico. The SHCP appointed auditors to each bank for the purposes of monitoring; however, this created an atmosphere of irresponsibility and inefficiency that led in 1889 to the creation of the so- called "Section of Supervision" within SHCP, which centralized the functions of monitoring and intervention. Five years later, the Section of Supervision would become an independent agency of the SHCP with the name of Inspector General of Institutions and Insurance Companies; it was renamed Regulatory and Inspection Commission of Credit Institutions in 1915. Finally, the National Banking Commission (CNB) was born on December 24, 1924, as the only watchdog of Mexican banking institutions, with full operational freedom and independence from the SHCP.
Gallagher and Martin's book Big Game Bigger Impact was published in May 2017 by Motivational Press. Big Game, Bigger Impact chronicles how the members of the San Francisco Bay Area Super Bowl 50 Host Committee came together with the region to work on what would be the biggest Super Bowl the NFL had ever staged – the milestone Super Bowl 50.
