Yasuo Kuwahara's expressive compositions tell stories in musical fashion. The Song of Japanese Autumn describes the "struggle of peasants" in the early fall against the time when the autumn gales fall with heavy showers, and the stillness afterward when the weather calms down again at the end of the piece — all told musically with "accented rhythm", "agitated melody", tremolo and peaceful cadenza. Characteristic of Kuwahara's pieces are long traditional (for Japanese compositions) expressive tremolo passages, but he also weaved modern playing techniques into his compositions. This was taken to the extreme in his orchestral work Novemberfest, in which he integrated seven different mandolin- voice percussive effects.

In the Shiva Purana there is a distinctly Saivite version of a traditional avatar myth: Shiva brings forth Virabhadra, one of his terrifying forms, in order to calm Narasimha, an avatar of Vishnu. When that fails, Shiva manifests as the human-lion-bird Sharabha which calms down lion-man Narasimha avatar of Vishnu, and Shiva then gives Vishnu a chakra( not to be confused with Sudarshan Chakra )as gift. A similar story is told in the late medieval era Sharabha Upanishad.SG Desai (1996), A critical study of the later Upanishads, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, pages 109-110 However, Vaishnava Dvaita school refutes this Shaivite view of Narasimha.

The outcome of this meeting was the formation of a Ball Game committee, which now has responsibility for organising the event. After violence broke out at the 2019 game, committee chairman Rob Bernard suggested those responsible threaten the game's future: "In the past, when things have got out of hand, we've put it out there that the future of the Ball Game is under threat and it calms down a bit the following year...But then it comes back again. It is the nature of it." Following that year's game, a clip of participants fighting received 3.4 million views on Facebook, and a report in the Daily Mirror newspaper claimed that a man's ear had been ripped off during the fracas.
Once everyone calms down, she and Rachnera develop a mutual respect for each other and their techniques. It turns out that she hadn't kidnapped Mero, she simply wanted her help in dealing with a bothering situation: Octo has no magic abilities whatsoever, but people seeking magical solutions to their problems keep on bothering her, so she wanted Mero to use her authority as a princess to clear the misunderstanding; her reputed "evil magical powers" are also being blamed for the rise in merpeople elopement with humans. Unfortunately, Mero has no real authority, but Kimihito's idea about clearing up the misunderstandings about Octo (which delights Octo immensely, to Miia and Cerea's annoyance) causes Mero to suggest that they address the problem to her mother, the Mermaid Queen.

In the small town of Oakey Oaks, which is populated by anthropomorphic animals, Chicken Little rings the school bell and warns everyone to run for their lives. This sends the whole town into a frenzied panic. Eventually, the Head of the Fire Department calms down enough to ask him what is going on, and he explains that the sky is falling because a piece of the sky shaped like a stop sign had fallen on his head when he was sitting under the big oak tree in the town square; however, he is unable to find the piece. His father, Buck Cluck, who was once a high school baseball star, assumes that this "piece of sky" was just an acorn that had fallen off the tree and had hit him on the head, making Chicken Little the laughingstock of the town.
Following that is The Love Room, which has a sound similar to that of The Rose Room with its bass rich drum beat, but has a bit of a darker, minor sound compared to the light, major chords ever-present in The Rose Room and Remembrance. The fourth track, Summer Lightning, is aptly named, for its dreamy bongo-esque drum beat and light dreamy instrumental noise about it. La Telecabine has a light sound that escalates to a pounding drum beat with dreamy instrumentals, and calming down as the song ends and transfers to Mr. Gone. Heavy Weather and Subway Freedom share the same vibe of an African-sounding bongo drum and a light instrumental tone that swiftly transitions to a louder, richer, and bass-enhanced sound, then calms down similar to Remembrance and Summer Lightning.
DVD extras include a quiz, mock pages from Ceefax, an alternative "Birds of Britain" feature, the Scary Picture, which features a comically large succession of warning screens making sure the viewer actually wants to view it, before suddenly showing it at the same time as hearing a male scream, being shown without the scream in 2 episodes of Series 2, and the Test Card (a music video). Watching this to the end, including the credits, triggers an Easter egg featuring Jack Morgan's more realistic reaction to his plastic surgery, in which the Look Around You team are shocked at the modifications to Jack's face when Dr. Fu reveals him to them. When handed a mirror, Jack turns to Dr. Fu and starts shouting expletives at him (the sole reason for 15 rating on the DVD), but then calms down after stating that it was the initial reaction to the surgery.
Cutler opposes the idea, saying that bringing into the courtroom the plastic skull used to model the defense's theory of how the bullet traveled will convince the jury that Spector is a monster, and that in any event under the rules of evidence Spector's version of events is not admissible unless he takes the stand and testifies about them. Cutler then turns the case over to Kenney Baden and leaves for New York City, which angers Spector even though Kenny Baden reminds him he had agreed to Cutler's withdrawal in a court hearing. Spector says he did not understand the implications of the hearing and accuses Cutler of leaving just to star in a reality television show, saying he expected more loyalty out of Cutler. After he calms down, Spector expresses complete confidence in Kenney Baden's ability to defend him and agrees to testify in court.

Soon, the two sides clash on the dirt road, and Nas pauses to a steady iteration of "One Mic" while standing contrastedly in the middle of the ongoing violence, the scene ending with the silent scream (symbolized by a descending piano) of a little bystanding Soweto girl as the scene cuts back to Nas, in the apartment room, kicking the chair and launching headfirst into a full-blown litany. The Soweto scene is interpolated with various scenes of young people listening and lip-syncing the lyrics, including a teenager wearing headphones in an apartment bedroom beside her younger sister, a group of Latino men sitting in a car and a young, angry Los Angeles County prisoner behind bars. Gradually, as the camera overlays a view of Nas upon the forward-moving shot of a street, the video then calms down alongside the descending tone of the song, the facial determination of Nas and other participants in the video remaining visible as the video draws to a close with the light in the apartment window turning off.
Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun-Times gave it two and a half stars out of four, commenting that it "obtains a warm, lovable performance from Anne Hathaway and dimensions from Jake Gyllenhaal that grow from comedy to the serious". Kirk Honeycutt of The Hollywood Reporter gave the film a mixed review, writing: "The energy is far too great—manic even—at the beginning but calms down for a while to focus on the highly competitive but not always ethical arena of drug sales, then gets distracted by unusually bold sex scenes for a studio picture only to wander off into the cultural phenomenon of Viagra before the movie decides it's a romance after all and so concludes in a highly conventional final embrace." A negative review from the East Bay Express described it as "a spectacularly maudlin and repellent piece of work" where the two protagonists "try to outdo each other in the 'who cares' department with their alarmingly off-putting interpersonal communication", leading to "callous salesman jokes, callous sex jokes, even callous jokes about the homeless man who rescues drug samples from the Dumpster." An Associated Press reviewer found the film to be a "run-of- the-mill Hollywood love story".
