The other manufacturers under Boustead Heavy Industries are Pyrotechnical Ordnance Malaysia, which operate a factory in Bentong and produce artillery propellant for the Malaysian Army as well as BYO Marine, which produces small boats for the region.

SNFU released their first two albums on the American hardcore punk imprint BYO Records. They first worked with Cargo Records, a Canadian label recently established by their longtime acquaintance Randy Boyd, when Cargo helped distribute their 1986 self-released EP She's Not on the Menu.Walter 78 Impressed with the sales of the EP, Cargo signed SNFU to a two-record deal in 1988.Walter 87 For SNFU, this was a move to a larger label with greater distribution.

While still in High School, he joined local punk rock band Social Distortion and was considered to be the group's first real and consistent drummer (1981–84). His recordings with the band include the first EP "1945", Single ("Playpen"), BYO Compilation song "(Mass Hysteria)", and first full-length album Mommy's Little Monster. He featured in the documentary Another State Of Mind. O'Brien was also involved in D.I. (which featured many former members of Social Distortion and the Adolescents).

Their eponymous debut album came in 1995 on Second Guess Records. Til Niagara Falls was released on punk label BYO Records in 1997. This would be followed up by two more albums in 1998, Melon an album of new JCCC material, and Too Tough to Die a track for track cover of the Ramones album of the same name. During a break between tours and recording Dave and Chris joined The Queers and played on their album Punk Rock Confidential.

Youth Brigade founded BYO Records in 1982 in Sun Valley. Also of note is the band Bad Religion, who hailed from the western San Fernando Valley and were only marginally associated with hardcore punk rock from the South Bay area. The punk scene in the eastern San Fernando Valley was closely tied in with that of nearby Hollywood and produced bands such as the Dickies, Fear, and the Angry Samoans. The bands Iconoclast and Public Nuisance also hailed from this area.

Elimination is Jughead's Revenge's third studio album, released in 1994. It was the first of the band's catalog to be licensed to and distributed by BYO Records. Although Elimination was not commercially successful, Jughead's Revenge gained critical recognition for the album and supported Face to Face on their first Canadian tour. Elimination marked the first Jughead's Revenge album to be recorded as a four-piece; second guitarist George Snow had left the band in 1993 to play in the Bad Samaritans full-time.

NOFX released its eighth studio album Pump Up the Valuum in 2000. It was the band's final album released through Epitaph, as the band decided to sign to Fat Mike's own label Fat Wreck Chords. In 2002, the band recorded BYO Split Series Volume III, a split album with Rancid, in which Rancid covered NOFX songs and NOFX covered Rancid songs. NOFX on Warped Tour '06 NOFX released its ninth studio album The War on Errorism in 2003, an album of political songs.

The band eventually started opening for acts such as Supersuckers, Green Day, Wesley Willis and Willie Nelson. In 2001, the band released a CD split with Supersuckers which featured a song that would later appear a Warped Tour 2002 Tour Compilation and their follow up album Desert Shores. Tee-Tot was only released in smaller record stores, and was available at live shows. Now out of print, Acetate plans to re-release the album in 2008. Desert Shores was released June 3, 2003, on BYO Records.

It's Lonely at the Bottom is Jughead's Revenge's second studio album, released in 1992. It was re-released by BYO Records in 1995 as the first half of the CD that also included the band's previous album, Unstuck in Time. It is titled It's Lonely at the Bottom/Unstuck in Time. It's Lonely at the Bottom marked the second, and last album, to be recorded as a five-piece, as second guitarist George Snow left the band to play in the Bad Samaritans full-time.

The band toured the UK, Europe, Scandinavia, the U.S. and Canada and were also regulars at surf and skate festivals in the mid-to late-1990s. The band's first carnation was called Desecrator (formed in 1989) which played death metal and released one album in 1991, titled Subconscious Release.

Clit 45 was an American punk rock band from Long Beach, California, United States, that formed in 1996. The band played traditional, fast punk, influenced by The Adolescents, Poison Idea and Bad Religion. Their second and third albums were published by BYO Records and distributed by Cargo Records in Europe. They have toured with bands like The Casualties, The Briefs, New Mexican Disaster Squad, Complete Control, Comeback Kid, The Riffs, The Krays, Defiance, Criminal Authority, Career Soldiers, Dropkick Murphys, The Virus, The Unseen, Bad Religion, and A Global Threat.

In the southern part is the Tsukubusuma Shrine, said to have been established in 420, and Hōgon-ji, a Shingon temple said to date from 724. Formerly known as Chikubu Benzai-ten, it ranks with the Enoshima Shrine in the Kantō region and the Itsukushima Shrine in the Chūgoku Region as one of Japan's Three Great Shrines of Benzaiten. Many structures were brought to the island by Toyotomi Hideyori, son of general Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Kannon Hall and the Karamon-style gate were brought here from the gravesite (Toyokuni-byo; now Toyokuni Shrine) of Toyotomi Hideyoshi.

McDonald eventually took the band and the name back to Edmonton, where he had previously fronted the band Joey Did and the Necrophiliacs, later known as Malibu Kens, (McDonald, Dobek, Scott Alloy, Dennis Lenarduzzi). The band's next members were Mike McDonald, David Lawson, Dave "Dove" Brown, and Ed Dobek. Hepcat's debut album, Out of Nowhere was released in 1993 on the New York-based ska label Moon Records. Two years later, they followed it up with Scientific on BYO Records. In 1998, after signing with Epitaph Records subsidiary HellCat Records, they released Right on Time, scoring a modest hit with the swinging "No Worries" and scored a spot on the Vans Warped Tour. 2000 saw the release of Push n' Shove, their first album without founding members Raul Talavera and Alex Désert, although the latter appears as a guest vocalist on two tracks.

Examples include songs such as The Damned's "New Rose" retitled "New Rosa", and Eddie and the Subtitles' "American Society" retitled "Mexican Society." The Menudo Incident also contains a version of Tejano/country musician Freddy Fender's "Before the Next Teardrop Falls", a bilingual hit when released by Fender in the 1970s. The cover art mimicked the Guns N' Roses release, showing a bowl of menudo, the traditional Mexican tripe specialty. The band returned with a second album in 2001, The Recline of Mexican Civilization (spoofing the punk film The Decline of Western Civilization) for BYO Records.

By now, the band had become viewed as seminal to the modern punk sound, with a new generation of fans discovering their earlier releases[] as they toured with newer bands as well as larger punk acts such as Hot Water Music. 2002 brought a b-sides album, The Bad, the Worse, and the Out of Print and an acclaimed split with Anti-Flag as part of the BYO Split Series. In 2003, the band released their sixth album Anchors Aweigh, as well as their first DVD, Do You Remember? 15 Years of the Bouncing Souls.

In mid-1999, they went in to record 6 new tracks for Volume 2 of the BYO Records Split series.

Vines, which produce best in low moisture and low soil fertility environments, were seen as suitable for areas that had previously been marginal pasture. The end of the 1960s saw the end of the New Zealand institution of the "six o'clock swill", where pubs were open for only an hour after the end of the working day and closed all Sunday. The same legislative reform saw the introduction of BYO (bring your own) licences for restaurants. Finally, the late 1960s and early 1970s noted the rise of the "overseas experience," where young New Zealanders travelled and lived and worked overseas, predominantly in Europe.

The band's fourth album, Good Mourning, was released in 2003 on Vagrant, reaching #1 on Billboard's Top Independent Albums chart and #20 on the Billboard 200. "We've Had Enough" and "All on Black" were released as singles from this album, the former becoming the band's first song to chart in the United States. A DVD titled Halloween at the Metro was released later that year as an installment of Kung Fu Films' The Show Must Go Off! series. In 2004 the band participated in the BYO Split Series by releasing a split album with One Man Army.

Because of its location, Philadelphia was an easy place for bands from New York City and Washington, DC to play concerts. Venues such as the Elk's Center, Love Hall, Long March, Community Education Center (CEC) and Abe's Steaks (a small hoagie shop) regularly held hardcore shows during the 1980s. WEL Records played a quite role with their relentless promotion. Other notable sites such as the Starlite Ballroom,Frank Blank Moriarty Informed Sources: About the Band September, 2012 BYO Hall, East Side Club, West Side Club (which was actually Jeff Jenkins Basement in West Philadelphia), The Kennel Club and Buff Hall were hosts of shows by well known hardcore bands.

After touring in support for It's Lonely at the Bottom, the band went to work on its third full-length album, Elimination, which was released in 1994. Recorded in the winter of 1993 at Paramount Studios Hollywood by Barry Conley, Elimination was the first of the band's catalog to be licensed to and distributed by BYO Records in order to be able to tour more; Unstuck and Lonely followed shortly after. The band recorded an alternate version of "Unlimited" for a split single with Strung Out to be released on Fearless Records. Following the release of Elimination, drummer Nenus Givargis eventually left Jughead's Revenge for family-related business.

In March of the same year, a split album with NOFX titled BYO Split Series Volume III was released, in which Rancid covered NOFX songs and NOFX covered Rancid songs. After a break from touring in 2001, Rancid returned to the studio with Gurewitz in 2002 to record its sixth studio album, Indestructible, which was released on August 19, 2003 and was their highest-charting album to date, reaching number 15. Unlike the band's previous albums, Indestructible was distributed by not only Epitaph/Hellcat but major record label, Warner Bros. Records, a move that received some backlash from the band's fans who questioned their loyalty to the independent scene.

The 2015 police raids in Turkey were a series of police raids conducted by the General Directorate of Security in 16 different Provinces of Turkey. The July 20th, 2015 Suruç bombing in Suruç killed 32 Kurds. Claimed byo ISIS, it was perceived by Kurdish militants as a collaboration between ISIS and Turkey security services, leading to a series of revenge attacks on Turkish policemen and military positions in Adıyaman and Ceylanpınar. The Ceylanpınar incidents saw the assassination of 2 policemen by operatives of disputed affiliation, attributed to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), and became the Casus belli for Turkey operations in both Turkey and Iraq.

It was popular among the upper classes to have a main public room, called a salon de estrado, to be covered in rugs and cushions for women to recline in Moorish fashion. Stools and later chairs and settees were added for men. Starting in the seventeenth century when the Manila Galleon sailed regularly from the Philippines to the Pacific port of Acapulco, folding screens or biombos (from the Japanese byo-bu or "protection from wind") were among the luxury goods brought from Asia. They are known to have been brought by 1610 and were subsequently produced by Mexican artists and artisans in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.

John's interest in the Arts stemmed from a love of music and singing (training as a singer and commanding several leading roles in light opera in his 20s) and he was elected Chairman of the Bow Group Arts Committee and Vice-Chairman of the Conservative Arts Committee. In 1980 the Government appointed him as a Trustee-Director of the National Theatre, where he was one of the longest serving members. In 1989 he became a trustee-director of a newly-created opera training company named British Youth Opera and took over chairmanship in 1997. Over a thousand young opera singers have developed their professional careers following training by BYO.

The band's biography information from BYO Records is written in a humorous style, alleging in jest that forming the band was suggestion by one of their parole officers. Although this may be interpreted as tongue-in-cheek, the band has declared in an interview for InMusicWeTrust.com that, "we're not cholos or gangsters, but we come from that heritage and we're proud of it." While most of the band's material is delivered with a sense of humor, political undertones do occasionally appear in their music, such as "Poem" from The Menudo Incident, tells a first-hand account of fearing a potential drive-by shooting, told over a doo-wop backing.

In the summer of 1982, after recording three tracks for the first BYO record release Someone Got Their Head Kicked In, Youth Brigade set out in a big yellow school bus on an ambitious 30-city North American tour with fellow punk band Social Distortion. The 1984 film, Another State of Mind, chronicled the event. After about 30 shows and several breakdowns they returned home to record their debut LP Sound & Fury with the record producer, Thom Wilson. A premature version of the LP was rushed together before the tour but pressing was stopped at 800 copies, as the band was not satisfied with the quality of the material or production.

Later that year, word about the Nils had spread to Los Angeles, and BYO Records invited the group to contribute the track "Scratches and Needles" to the compilation album Something to Believe In. In 1984, The Nils contributed "Call of the Wild" to Primitive Air Raid, a compilation album of the early-80s Montreal punk scene. Psyche Industry Records, the independent label that released Primitive Air Raid, released The Nils' EP Sell Out Young! in 1985, and a second EP, Paisley, was issued by Siegfried Records in 1986. Separate one-day single-elimination tournaments are held prior to the beginning of the preliminary tournament to determine the woman and amateur participants. Four participants are selected by the sponsors for each tournament: the women's tournament participants are selected from the reigning women professional major title holders and the amateur tournament participants are selected from the reigning . Each tournament has two rounds with a primary time control of one hour per player using a chess clock system followed by a secondary byo-yomi time control of sixty seconds per move. The tournament pairings are determined by drawing lots, with one of the first round games played in the morning and the other played in the afternoon.

Almost each album was recorded with the original lineup of the Stern brothers (Mark, Adam and Shawn); bassist Bob Gnarly replaced Adam in 1985 during the recording of The Dividing Line, which was released as The Brigade. Adam returned in 1991 (when the band reunited) and contributed to the band's 1992 EP Come Again and their next two albums (Happy Hour and To Sell the Truth) before leaving once again in 2007. Penalty (under his given name, Jeff Alulis) directed and co-produced (along with Ryan Harlin of Techno Squirrels) Do You Remember? Fifteen Years Of The Bouncing Souls, which won the Best Documentary Feature award at the 2003 D.I.Y. Film Festival in Los Angeles. Alulis and Harlin have since gone on to direct/produce the documentary feature Let Them Know: The Story of Youth Brigade and BYO Records, which was an Official Selection at the 2009 San Francisco Independent Film Festival. From 2006 through 2007, Alulis and Harlin traveled around the world with NOFX filming a tour documentary that later became the series NOFX: Backstage Passport on Fuse TV. Alulis and Harlin served as directors, camera operators, and executive producers on the show, which premiered at the 2008 SXSW Film Festival and aired on Fuse TV in the spring of that year.

In 1982, The Nils released "Scratches and Needles" for the BYO compilation Something to Believe In, and "Call of the Wild" for the Primitive Air Raid compilation. The band began to tour extensively and still managed to deliver a power pop/punk rock EP entitled Paisley in 1984. By 1985, The Nils had befriended Ivan Doroschuk of Men Without Hats who loaned the band $3,500 to record the Sell Out Young EP. The album's success drew the attention of a few major labels and by the following year, The Nils accepted an offer from a subsidiary of Profile Records to record the self-titled LP The Nils (produced by Chris Spedding and award-winning engineer Phil Burnett). This album included updated versions of the songs "Daylight" and "Inbetweens" from Sell Out Young, as well as eight other original songs.

Automatic 7 is an American rock trio. Formed in 1993, they have released three albums to date. They released their debut album self-titled Automatic 7 on November 22, 1995 on BYO Records. Band members John Hulett (vocals and guitar), Nic Nifoussi (bass guitar and vocals) and Ray Mehlbaum (drums) toured North America and Europe with Social Distortion, Bad Religion, Face to Face, Bouncing Souls, Less than Jake, D.O.A., Youth Brigade, Shades Apart, Down By Law, Suicide Machines in addition to various shows with Love and Rockets, Lit, Jimmy Eat World, Reverend Horton Heat and John Doe of X. In 1996 Automatic 7 contributed a cover version of the Psychedelic Furs 'Pretty in Pink' to the Vagrant Records V/A release 'Before You Were Punk' along with other various 80's themed covers by bands such as Blink 182 and Face to Face In 1997 Automatic 7 signed with A&M; Records, the band recorded their second album at Long View Farm with legendary Producer Ron Saint Germain.
