Thomas Broham (20 July 1840 – 29 December 1900) was a New Zealand police officer. He was born in County Limerick, Ireland on 20 July 1840. He is known for arresting the arsonist Cyrus Haley. He was also known as the origin of the word "broham" because of his coolness with the boys.

According to Brougham (1847) these included those of Udard (or Odard) de Broham (died c.1185) and Gilbert de Broham (died c.1230). Despite the repair work, the church was poorly maintained when George Shaw visited in 1847. The church had a brief golden age in the early 1950s when the Rector was Canon Bouch.

Bromham (Bruneham in Domesday) is probably the enclosed meadow on which the broom or the dyers' weed grew. If so, the cultivation of much more than a thousand years since the name was given, has practically eradicated these plants. Another theory as to the origin of the village's name is Bruna's homestead and was first recorded as Bruneham in the Domesday Book of 1086. Other variants including Bruham (1164–1302), Braham (1227), Bramham (1228), Brumham (1262–87), Brunham (1276–91), Brumbham (1276), Brynham (1276), Broham (1278), Bronham (1338), Broam (1360), Brounham (1361) and Burnham (1361).

It is a blue, gooey substance that mutates or changes whatever it touches. Its effects are very erratic and unpredictable; it has the capability to mutate a small fish into a deadly piranha, give a video game sentience, and grant someone the abilities of a ghost. Its effects, however, can normally be reversed. Billy regularly incorporates puns with the word "bro" into his vocabulary: (broaster oven, broham sandwich, George Bromero, Brohann Sebastian Bach, etc.) He does not share Spencer's love of horror movies, despite being a ghost; and is acrophobic, despite having the ability to fly.
