The former Morrilton station is located on Railroad Avenue, between Division and Moose Streets, in downtown Morrilton, Arkansas. It is a single-story brick building, with a tile roof and Mediterranean styling typical of the stations of the Missouri Pacific Railroad. Built about 1907, it is an important reminder of the railroad's importance in the city's history.

A flat-roofed veranda with three Doric columns and a plain rail is on the south. On the west is a sympathetic newer extension, with a similar extension on its own west. Both the main entrance and the window above it have flat-roofed hoods, the lower one supported by console brackets with pendants. A projecting bay window is on the south of the main entrance, with another on the south facade west of the veranda.

When cold, the archwire is limp and flexible, easily threaded between brackets of any configuration. Bank of Queensland in Lowood, 1922 This single-storeyed weatherboard building fronts Railway Street in the centre of Lowood. Rectangular in plan, the building has a corrugated iron hipped roof with a shallow hip to the front verandah and a skillion to the rear office and workroom. The building sits on concrete stumps with the verandah at street level and the land sloping away to the rear. The verandah has decorative carved timber arch brackets with corner quatrefoil design and cross-braced balustrade with a circular pattern.

Pseudo-basilical inner space consists of three naves that are divided by a tall arcade with pointed arch erected on octagonal columns. In the main central nave is a star-shaped vault whose richly profiled ribs lie on the perimeter walls and pillars without brackets with signs of crossing. In the western part of the central nave is also a choir organ which is under-vaulted with star-valut and finished with stone tracery with a motif of the rotating small flames.

Steps with terracotta-dressed cement walls and piers lead to three identical round-arched entrance doors with wood panelling, flanked by terracotta columns and set below a balustrade. This is supported on brackets with foliage decoration, and has four decorative terracotta urns corresponding with the top of each column. This forms the centre bay of a three-bay façade; the outer bays have paired round-arched windows. The balustrade spans the width of the façade between ground- and first-floor level, forming a kind of porch or portico.

There is a second projecting window bay about midway down the long right side of each one, and a porch at the back of that side. When the district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990, the two triple deckers, built c. 1896, were noted for the preservation of their Queen Anne styling, including porches with turned balusters and brackets, with similar decorative bracketing in the roof eaves. 4 Fay Street was also noted for having decorative pendants hanging from the roof line near the side projection.

The official National Register documentation for the Ivory McKusick House gives a construction date of 1868. However more recent research from the Washington County Historical Society states that the house began as a one- story structure in 1866 and was enlarged in 1872 with the two-story wing that now serves as the main façade. Second Empire architectural elements include the mansard roof with round-arched dormers, and numerous ornate brackets. These brackets adorn the window hoods on the dormers and the first floor, while even larger brackets with pendants support the wide eaves and the hood over the front door.

Christ Church is located in southern Islesboro, an island community in Penobscot Bay in central Maine, U.S.A. It is set overlooking Pendleton Point Road, the major north-south route on the narrow island, which runs to the east of the building. It is a roughly cruciform structure, its long axis oriented north-south, and is finished in wooden shingles and stucco, with a rubblestone foundation. It is reached from Christ Church Road by a walkway lined by stone walls that passes over an arched stone bridge. The south-facing main facade has a gabled entrance porch supported by square posts with decorative brackets, with a half-timbered gable.

The north gate forms part of a fortification system built at Hierapolis in Theodosian times (late 4th century) and is its monumental entrance, matched by a symmetrical gate to the south of the city. Built of reused material from the demolition of the Agora, it is flanked by two square towers, as in other nearby cities such as Blaundus. Four large marble brackets with heads of lions, of panther and of a Gorgon were found collapsed in front of the gate. They are quite expressive and, whilst belonging to antique buildings, were evidently reused as apotropaic elements on the two sides of the gate so as to ward off evil influence.

External: Constructed of face brick with a corrugated metal gabled roof extending as an awning to both platforms, the Lithgow station building is an island platform building in standard "A10" Federation style design. It features ten bays with a linear arrangement along the platform with tuckpointed brickwork and engaged piers between the bays. The eastern (Up) end of the building has been extended approximately one bay in 1961 (formerly used as Railway Refreshment Room) with a matching gable end detailing featuring large metal box-framed window openings supported on with brick brackets with security mesh and a single door with side windows and fanlight on the east side. A narrow awning provides protection over this door.

The verandahs also have unusual lattice screens which consist of scalloped timber lattice which gives a star-like pattern. A brick chimney stack is located mid- way above an internal wall on the western side of the building, and the rear kitchen wing shows evidence of alterations to windows and an early addition to the northern end. The western elevation has decorative window hoods consisting of cast iron brackets with corrugated iron hood and timber sides, and the central window hood has a gable with finial. The building has sash windows, French doors with patterned glass panels and fanlights opening onto verandahs, and decorative leadlight sash windows to the projecting southwest and southeast corner bays.

The rear wing, finished in scribed render to imitate ashlar, has sash windows with hoods consisting of cast iron brackets and corrugated iron awnings, and a central recessed two-storeyed verandah on the southwest. The verandah has cast iron columns and brackets, with a timber lattice valance, to the ground floor, and cast iron columns and balustrade, with louvred timber screens above the handrail, to the first floor. French doors open onto the first floor verandah, and the ground floor has panelled timber doors with fanlights, and sash windows. The northwest end of the rear wing has an enclosed ground floor verandah with fibrous cement cladding, casement windows and a curved corrugated iron awning.

The entrance to the cave has columns resting on seated lions, which is a typical Pallava style of rock-cut architecture. There are six lion based pillars on the front façade of the cave, apart from two pilasters at both ends abutting the rock. As compared to other caves there is an improvement in the layout and the architectural elements that have been carved in the cave. One is the circumambulatory passage around regular structural temples in South India and the other feature is provision of brackets with lion caryatids over the pillars forming the facade; each caryatid consists of three lions one facing to the front and the other two facing to the sides without a lion on the backside.

The first floor has a cast iron balustrade. The front elevation at ground level has a more recent timber-framed, glass entrance door with fanlight over on the west side, and a pair of 6-over-6 timber vertical sash windows. These have narrow glazing bars with no horn to the top sash, and the glass appears original or early. To the first floor there are three early double casement doors with glazed fanlights over, opening onto the front upper-level verandah. The front gable has a centrally placed 6-over-6 timber vertical sash window, over which is a convex curved corrugated-iron window hood, supported on curved timber brackets with decorative pendants, in-filled with a cross lattice.

Towson was the inaugural champion, defeating Manhattan 56–55, and winning the game on a last second shot by Tigers senior guard Mike Morsell. The format was changed in 2018, with the schools competing in two four-team brackets, with campus round games in America leading into two tournament brackets in Belfast named Samson and Goliath, which are named after the iconic Harland and Wolff cranes in the Titanic quarter ship yard of Belfast. The semifinals and championship games of each bracket are played in Northern Ireland, with each bracket winner declared champions of their respective brackets. The tournament is sponsored by The Sport Changes Life Foundation, in partnership with the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).

The imposing façade has a Neoclassical style; on the ground floor there are three openings: an entrance with an ogee arch, small cornices formed by several elements, and two rolling shutters leading into two big rooms. The balcony on the first floor is very large, and its landings are supported by stone brackets, with decorations; the banister is made with wrought iron.Roberto Calia: I Palazzi dell'aristocrazia e della borghesia alcamese; Alcamo, Carrubba, 1997 On the north side, in Via Arco Itria, there are four recent windows, four balconies on the first floor (two of them smaller and decorated); behind the main façade, in Via Stefano Polizzi, there are three front doors leading to some warehouses, and a small entrance leading to the second floor. The whole façade ends with a cornice dominated by eight torch-standers: these decorative elements are similar to those of Palazzo Pastore, located in Corso 6 Aprile, and the other ones in the main façade of Mother church.
