Royal Air Force Hixon or more simply RAF Hixon was a Royal Air Force station located on the north western edge of the village of Hixon in Staffordshire, England. The rings may consist of ice particles coated with silicates or carbon-based material, which most likely gives them a reddish hue. The Tower of Mendoza in Álava Álava is a hilly region with a core flat area (the Plains of Álava) bounded at the time by the kingdoms of Castile, and the Navarre in the 13th and 14th century. It had been loosely controlled by Navarre earlier, and retained its own distinctive customs and traditions. The town of Mendoza and the province of Álava itself was also a battlefield, where the clashing noble families of the area settled their disputes for generations. In 1332, the Mendozas had already been there at least a century, struggling with the rival clans, such as the Ayala, Orozco, and Velasco.

The Canardière on the Nonette Canal of the Machine The town is bounded at its southern edge by the Thève, a 33 km-long tributary of the Oise River. At this point that valley contains the Commelles ponds, created in the 13th century by the monks of Chaalis Abbey to stock fish. The Nonette river runs through the town itself. This 44 km-long river is also part of the watershed of the Oise River and is channeled into canals throughout the municipality. In fact, the creation of the château gardens by André Le Nôtre required the complete transformation of the waterway starting in 1663.

The Viennese model was subsequently brought back to England, as can be seen in the Ossulton Estate, Camden, listed some years ago, and in some private mansion blocks in central London of the 1930s. The surrounding streets were laid out in the 17th century on an intersecting grid pattern from north to south, east to west. Portpool Lane is part of the estate itself and derives its name from the old manor of Portpool which was held by Grays of Wilton, also for Gray's Inn. The estate was originally bounded at its southern edge by factories and industrial buildings that were damaged during the Second World War and demolished.

Using techniques of seismic sequence stratigraphy the English Permo-Triassic megasequence can be divided into three sequences bounded at the top and base by local or regional unconformities. The Brighton and Lewes Downs Biosphere Reserve (established 2014) is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve located in Sussex on the southeast coast of England near the city of Brighton and Hove. Forming a central unit of the hills of the South Downs National Park, it is centred on the Brighton chalk block that lies between the River Adur in the west and the River Ouse in the east. Chalk downland makes up the principal terrestrial landscape of the area, bounded at each end by the two river valleys. The coastline is dominated by impressive chalk cliffs in the east and urbanized plains in the west, running to the estuary of the River Adur at Shoreham-by-Sea.

Independent Chapel, Beaumaris Lane Newport General Cemetery was opened for burials on 2 March 1859 with its first interment taking place on 5 March 1859 when it is noted that some 1,000 people witnessed the burial. The cemetery contains a chapel built at the same time and is bounded at the public road side by fine wrought iron railings and gates. The cemetery was originally laid out with four oval lawns around a cross-shaped set of roads with the chapel centrally placed. Also buried in the cemetery are eleven British Army soldiers of World War I and a soldier and airman of World War II, who are commemorated by a row of Commonwealth War Graves Commission headstones.

The Iron Triangle was an area of relatively flat terrain, shaped like an equilateral triangle, in the mountains of east central North Korea. It is situated above the 38th Parallel, halfway across the peninsula, and northeast of Seoul. It is bounded at its three corners by the towns of Ch'orwon at its western base, Kumhwa-eup at its eastern base, and P'yonggang at its northern apex. The area was an important North Korean rail and road communication center, linking east and west coastal areas with each other, and in turn connecting them with the communication net leading south through central South Korea. On 11 October the ROK 8th Division and the 7th Regiment of the 6th Division converged on P'yonggang.

Australian wine zones & regions The Barossa zone covers an area of central South Australia including the Barossa Valley and the area to its immediate east on the Mount Lofty Ranges (known as Eden Valley). The zone is bounded at the west by the Horrocks Highway from near Templers to Gawler in the south while its southern boundary includes the South Para River and runs in an easterly direction including Williamstown but excluding Mount Pleasant then turning north just west of Sanderston. The east boundary runs due north with one turn to the east including the eastern slopes of the ranges to north of the Sturt Highway. The northern boundary includes Truro and turns north to follow the Light River excluding Kapunda and then through Freeling, South Australia.

This area is currently being considered as a 'reserve', and greater priority has been given to the Linford Park (northern), Fairfield (western) and Broughton Gate/Nova (eastern) expansion sites mentioned above. ;Growth Area 2 and 3 (South West) - and Salden Chase: The South-western Growth Area proposal was for approximately 875 hectares (2,161 acres) and was to be bounded at its north-east by the southwest point of the existing built up area (West Bletchley) and at its East by the brickfields and landfill site to the south of Bletchley. The area was to be enclosed to the north by the A421 (running east to west across Milton Keynes) and at the south by the road running southwest from Water Eaton to Drayton Parslow.

Australian wine zones & regions The Mount Lofty Ranges zone covers an area of central South Australia bounded at the north by a line of latitude approximately in line with Crystal Brook, to the west by the Gulf St Vincent coastline and a line extending north from Port Wakefield, to the south by the line of latitude passing through Glenelg in the Adelaide metropolitan area and the portion of the Mount Lofty Ranges extending as far south as Mount Compass and bounded to the east by a line immediately west of the alignment of Murray river. The zone encloses the Barossa zone on all but its east side. The term ‘Mount Lofty Ranges’ was registered as an AGI under the Wine Australia Corporation Act 1980 on 27 December 1996.

A stack of note is Stack Rocks (), two large detached pillars of limestone which in the spring provide valued nesting sites for razorbills and guillemots. In the north, the rocks of , and , together with the extensive moorland on and , give an exposed and mountainous feel to the landscape, cut through by the wooded valleys of the and Nevern. In the west, the National Park is dominated by the broad sweep of St Bride's Bay, bounded at its northern end by Ramsey Island, near St David's peninsula, and at its southern end by Skomer. The southern coast is another contrast, with the limestone plateau and cliffs of the Castlemartin peninsula, the steep-sided wooded valleys inland from Amroth; the Bosherston lakes — now, like much of the coastal strip, in the care of the National Trust — and the tourist resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot.
