When the whales attempted to take the exit path, a swarm of journalists caused them to swim back. Jagged ice from the rescue effort also cut the whales, bloodying the water. While the whales remained in their initial area, they were given Inuit names Putu, Siku, and Kanik and English names Bonnet, Crossbeak, and Bone, respectively.

On June 22, Akira turned heel, first bloodying Yusuke Kodama in a singles match and then attacking Tajiri after the main event. On July 15, Akira's former Smash rival StarBuck turned on his protégé Hajime Ohara and then announced that he was joining forces with Akira. They were also joined by Syuri, with all three feeling disgruntled by the supposed changes that had taken place since the transition from Smash. The three wrestled their first match as a unit on August 2, defeating Hajime Ohara, Kana and Tajiri in a six-person tag team main event, with Akira pinning Ohara for the win.

He also continues to observe Wake's strange ritual and is bothered by a one-eyed gull that Wake tells him not to kill, as he is superstitious that gulls are reincarnated sailors. One evening while dining, Wake reveals to Winslow that his previous wickie died after losing his sanity, while Winslow reveals that he is a former timberman from Canada seeking a new trade. The day before his scheduled departure, Winslow discovers a dead gull inside the cistern, bloodying its water. Winslow is again attacked by the one-eyed gull and he brutally kills it in anger.

On February 19, 2011, Park reiterated his point by assaulting and bloodying El Mesías backstage, after he had qualified for the finals of Rey de Reyes. Hamed would continue to control the bout and Ingle would be forced to take a knee in the sixth for Hamed's second knockdown after Hamed landed another two-left combination to the head and body. Ingle would continue the fight and suddenly take control of the fight in the ninth round, landing several power punches and bloodying Hamed's nose and mouth. After Héroes Inmortales, where AAA Mega Champion Jeff Jarrett's plan of using fellow Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) worker Sting to get rid of title contender El Mesías had failed, Jarrett placed a $50,000 bounty on El Mesías' head. This led to TNA wrestler Gunner making his AAA debut on November 26, attacking El Mesías backstage.

Gilbert, unaware his former partner was at the taping, badmouthed Rich, then the International Heavyweight Champion, until Rich came out to confront him. Rich immediately got the upper hand, running Gilbert into the steel ringpost several times, bloodying him in the process before the cameras went to a commercial. After the commercial break, Gilbert told Russell he wanted Rich to come back out so he could apologize to him in person, stating he was wrong for still being bitter about the break-up of the team, and was fueled by jealousy of Rich's championship title reign and new found star status. He entered Ultimate Fighting Championship in its UFC 17 tournament in an attempt to challenge for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship held by Frank Shamrock,Stephen Quadros, Allan Goes is One of Brazil's Finest, Black Belt Magazine, March 2000 firstly facing fellow challenger Dan Henderson. The Brazilian opened the match dropping Henderson down with a punch, but Henderson countered with a heel hook attempt, and later started landing effective ground and pound through Góes's guard, bloodying his nose. The match ended with Henderson scoring several punches at the overtime, gaining a unanimous decision over the Brazilian fighter.

One of the major incidents that occurred during this time was a gang war between Đại Cathay and Tín Mã Nàm when Đại was trying to venture his lucrative activities into Chợ Lớn, which was in Nàm's territory. In 1964, a bloody gang battle ensued between the two gangs when Đại and his followers attacked the Great World quarters of Chợ Lớn with knives, swords, and bayonets. On the August 14 edition of Raw is War, Kane interfered in a match between The Undertaker and Chris Benoit and chokeslammed The Undertaker. After the interference, Kane rode out of the arena with The Undertaker's motorcycle, which was at ringside, signaling the start of a feud between The Undertaker and Kane, which was the second main feud heading into SummerSlam. On the August 17 edition of Smackdown, the feud intensified during a segment in which Kane attacked The Undertaker with a steel chair, bloodying The Undertaker.

On August 14, 2010, at Verano de Escandalo, Aguayo pinned Mesías in a six man tag team match between Los Perros and AAA, after hitting him with a chair. At Héroes Inmortales IV El Mesías gained a measure of revenge on Aguayo by defeating him in a singles match. La Legión Extranjera's leader Konnan had been feuding with La Hermandad 187 (Nicho el Millonario and Joe Líder), since turning on them in April 2010. After La Legión Extranjera injured Nicho and cost him and Líder the AAA World Tag Team Championship, La Hermandad 187 faced Konnan, Damián 666 and Halloween in a three–on–two handicap hardcore match at Héroes Inmortales IV, in which Nicho and Líder avenged the past couple of months by bloodying Konnan before pinning him for the win. On November 14, 2010, Electroshock officially announced that he was not part of La Sociedad and urged his stablemates Silver King and Último Gladiador to leave the group.

After that, Flair bit Triple H's head, bloodying him from his forehead, this often results when a wrestler is trapped, either in a corner of the ring or in a submission hold, as a desperation move. Shawn Michaels was voted to be part of the Triple Threat match for the WWE Championship In the main event, John Cena defended the WWE Championship against Kurt Angle and Shawn Michaels, who received the fans' vote to be part of the Triple Threat match.

Due to the high-profile status of the match, Omega began petitioning for Wrestle Kingdom 12 to have a "double main event" much like the Wrestle Kingdom shows had had in 2013, 2014 and 2015. Omega stated that he agreed that Okada and Naito should have the final match of the show, but felt that he and Jericho should have the second to last match, claiming that just four months after the creation of the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship, he had already made it the number two title in NJPW over the IWGP Intercontinental Championship. Jericho made his in person return at the December 11 show, attacking and bloodying Omega following his match, while also laying out a referee, a young lion and Don Callis. In September 1814, following the burning of Washington three weeks earlier, a British military force of King's Army commanded by Major General Robert Ross, (1766-1814), landed at North Point (near present-day Fort Howard, Maryland) on the Patapsco Neck peninsula in southeastern Baltimore County and began an advance on the city from the southeast. They were met almost immediately by advance scouts and skirmishers ahead of a detachment from the Baltimore City Third Brigade of the Maryland state militia commanded by Brigadier General John Stricker, (1759-1825), commencing the Battle of North Point. Major General Samuel Smith, (1752-1839), of the Maryland Militia was in overall command of the city's defenses and had sent Stricker forward to probe and slow up the enemy, who just happened to be falling into a trap, facing a series of pre-planned defensive lines dug over the previous year, landing precisely where Smith had expected them to be. After the bloodying and stalwart defense of six regiments, the Americans slowly withdrew back towards town, with the resulting halt of the larger British force to lick their wounds and tend to casualties overnight.

Their second reign came by regaining them from Machine and Saito on March 6, 1991, but lost the titles on March 21, 1991, to The Steiner Brothers. Hase was involved in a classic December 14, 1992 encounter with The Great Muta, in which the "Muta Scale" was created, due to the incredible amount of blood shed by Muta, which was payback for Muta bloodying Hase on September 14, 1990. Hase and Mutoh were also regular tag team partners; they won the IWGP Tag Team Championship twice.
