Bloodsoaked is an American death metal band from North Carolina. Formed in 2006 by Peter Hasselbrack as a one-man project, Bloodsoaked is known for a style of death metal strongly inspired by the originators of the style, such as Death, Cannibal Corpse, Obituary, Deicide, Sepultura and Morbid Angel.

Bloodsoaked’s music is best described as old-school death metal with some modern influences. The lyrics tend to be heavily gore and horror influenced as well as anti-religious views. Their band name came from the underground death metal web site Bloodsoaked Promotions that ran from 1996 to 2004 as well as Bloodsoaked Records, both created and run by Peter Hasselbrack.

Peter started Bloodsoaked, and in February 2007 signed to Comatose Music and released their first album Brutally Butchered in April 2007. Their second album Sadistic Deeds... Grotesque Memories was released on Comatose Music in April 2009. Their third album The Death of Hope was released in August 2011 on Comatose Music and features guest guitar solos by James Murphy. Both Sadistic Deeds... Grotesque Memories and The Death of Hope were mixed and mastered by Shane McFee, who also programmed drums for both albums.

Chaos Magick is the second studio album by Finnish black metal band Saturnian Mist. It was recorded at the Blackvox Studio at Tampere, Finland in April- September 2014 and mastered at the Turan Audio in Oxford, UK by Tim Turan in October 2014. The title refers to Chaos magic, also spelled chaos magick, a postmodern magical tradition developed by Peter J. Carroll and Ray Sherwin but greatly influenced by the works of Aleister Crowley and Austin Osman Spare Two music videos were made from the album, both directed and edited by fra. Zetekh. First one "The True Law" was released also as a single in December 2014 and the second music video was from the track "Bloodsoaked Chakrament".

The Great Intelligence says that the Doctor has been "bloodsoaked" several times, talking about the leader of the Sycorax (whom the Tenth Doctor kills in "The Christmas Invasion"), Solomon the trader (whom the Eleventh Doctor sends to his death in "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship"), the Daleks, and the Cybermen. The Great Intelligence also states that the Doctor will be known as the Valeyard before the end of his life. The Valeyard appeared in the 1986 serial The Trial of a Time Lord, where he is described as an amalgamation of the darker sides of the Doctor's nature, somewhere between his twelfth and final incarnations.
