Frame and front wheel secured A bicycle lock is a security device used to deter bicycle theft, either by simply locking one of the wheels or by fastening the bicycle to a fixed object, e.g., a bike rack. Quick-release levers, as used on some bicycle wheels and seatpost fasteners, are a security vulnerability, because they allow the wheels and saddle to be easily removed. Unless such easily removable components are secured while the bicycle is unattended, they are vulnerable to theft.

Bicycles are popular targets for theft, due to their value and ease of resale. The number of bicycles stolen annually is difficult to quantify as a large number of crimes are not reported. Around 50% of the participants in the Montreal International Journal of Sustainable Transportation survey were subjected to a bicycle theft in their lifetime as active cyclists.

The Center for Appropriate Transport (CAT) is a non-profit community center dedicated to bicycles and alternative transport located in Eugene, Oregon, United States. CAT holds publicly funded educational workshops for teaching youth from ages 12 to 21. Within the facility there is a public bicycle repair workspace and a bike machine-shop for the design and manufacture of special- purpose bikes, particularly cargo bikes and recumbents. There is also a bike museum on site, a bike rack-building workshop, and a sewing facility.

Access to the falls is from the forest's Fawn Lake parking area by hiking or bicycle by going past Fawn Lake, the airstrip, and the horse barn, or from the Buck Forest parking area by crossing the covered bridge, turning right, and following this road past Lake Julia to the falls. Access to the falls by vehicle may also be allowed for handicapped persons. A wide gravel road travels within several hundred feet of the falls, where a gentle, graveled path descends to the base. There is a viewing platform halfway down this trail and a bike rack at the bottom.

Thirteen (13) routes run daily except on Sunday, generally functioning at half hour or hour intervals. During the late evening and late night hours, buses keep running, with four routes covering specific zones of the city. All LTS buses are low floor and handicapped accessible, and each also features a bike rack. Fixed-route bus service times are Monday through Saturday 5:45 AM - 10:30 PM. Beginning at 6:35 PM, LTS begins its Night Owl fixed route service with four (4) consolidated bus routes serving citizens from the Rosa Parks Transportation Center every hour.

The station is (like the majority of those on the line) unstaffed and has no ticket machine, so all tickets must be purchased in advance of travel or on the train. The main building is in private commercial use, but there are brick shelters on each platform, along with CIS displays, timetable poster boards and a bike rack on platform 2. Step-free access to both platforms is available via ramps from the level crossing at the Manchester end of the station.

U-lock A U-lock is a rigid metal ring in the shape of the letter U. The U part of the lock attaches to a crossbar section, and for this reason they are also called D-locks. To lock the bicycle, one locks it physically to some other object, such as a bike rack, parking meter or other pole installed securely in the solid ground. Merely locking the bike frame to the wheel is not recommended because, although it cannot be rolled away, the entire bicycle can still be lifted and carried away. Front wheel is locked with U-lock, but the rest of the bicycle is gone.

They worked with bicycle traveler Willie Weir to design and market a bicycle that R + E Cycles had built for him in 1996, the Willie Weir Adventure (UTB) bicycle. In 2005 they acquired Bushnell Cycle design, hired Master Frame Builder Dennis Bushnell, and patented their bottom bracket design. R + E Cycles designed a fully functional bicycle fitting system, including software, called Next-fit™, which was introduced in February 2006. In this year the Puget Sound Business Journal published an article on R + E Cycles. They worked with the city over several years to update their ‘on- street’ bike parking area, installing a new heavy duty bike rack (shaped like a car).

Arapaho Center station (formerly known as Richardson Transit Center until 2002) is a DART Light Rail station in Richardson, Texas. It is located at Greenville Avenue near Arapaho Road. It opened on July 1, 2002, and is a station on the , serving the Richardson Civic Center, the University of Texas at Dallas and part of Richardson's Telecom Corridor including the facilities for Honeywell and Samsung. Customer features at this station include: station concierge, passenger shelters, windscreens, seating, restrooms, customer information, ticket vending machines, telephones, bus "kiss & ride" passenger drop-off/pickup area, free parking (1,100 spaces, overnight or long-term parking is at the discretion of the customer), bike rack and public art.

In New Zealand, vehicle registration plates (usually called number plates) contain up to six alphanumeric characters, depending on the type of vehicle and the date of registration. To be operated on (or parked on) any public road, most types of motor vehicles and trailers must be registered and display the corresponding registration plate(s). One plate must be affixed to the rear of the vehicle, and except in the case of a motorcycle, moped, tractor, or trailer, a second plate must be affixed to the front of the vehicle. If the visibility of a regular number plate is obstructed, for example by a bike rack mounted to a car's trailer hitch, a supplementary plate with the same registration number must be obtained and affixed to the obstruction (or the vehicle) such that it will be visible from the same direction as the regular number plate would have been.

These buses were the first to be delivered with the CAD/AVL VISION system. From this point onwards, future buses will be delivered with the new system. The third batch of hybrids (3570–3654) were delivered with a new bike rack and the manufacturer logo was moved at the center, under the fleet number. All 270 diesel buses were delivered to Arrow Rd. 30 of the buses were transferred to Birchmount and Eglinton for VISION training between March and April. 75 buses from the series (3100–3174) were moved to Birchmount from Arrow Rd until the end of 2019. Arrow Road has the majority of diesel buses with 195 units, while Birchmount possesses 75 units. The first batch of hybrid-electric buses (3400–3454) was delivered to Arrow Garage from October 2018 to December 2018 for acceptance and commissioning. Then soon moved to Malvern before they enter service.
