A Jedi strike force led by Count Dooku slays Jango's warriors, and Jango is sold into slavery to the planet's governor. Jango later escapes, attacks Death Watch and kills Vizsla, and begins working as a bounty hunter.

Jac rehires Jesse to work as a consultant anaesthetist on Darwin and he begins working with Mo. Initially clashing with her, he convinces her to go ahead with an operation. When it is successful they discuss rivaling Jac and Guy's plans.

They also no longer believe Terry Orchard murdered Dennis Powell. Spenser begins working unofficially with Quirk and Belson to find the truth behind the two murders.

Max is pleasantly surprised at Normal's change in attitude, when he shows compassion for both her and O.C.

Artist Bedřich Mára (Bolek Polivka) is unable to find much secure work due to his public antagonism toward the ruling Communist Party. He has a wife and two children. Life begins to change when art historian Alois Fábera (Jiři Pecha) begins working on a piece about Bedřich, leading to a job offer from a Party official.
Randy intensifies his training, which includes steroid injections. After wrestling in a hardcore match, Randy suffers a heart attack backstage and undergoes coronary artery bypass surgery. His doctor tells him that he nearly died and has to stop the steroids. Feeling that he is unable to wrestle in his present condition, Randy decides to retire and begins working a full-time shift at the supermarket's deli counter.
Ste begins working in Tony's restaurant but it suffers a financial crisis so he starts dealing drugs again to save the restaurant. He grows closer to John Paul but John Paul is sent to prison. After Sinead's daughter dies, Ste helps her after her family disown her. Ste becomes addicted to drugs and when John Paul is released from prison, they begin a relationship.
Shortly afterward, Roya begins working with a doctor, using her healing shards to help patients. While she seems to have finally found happiness, the uncertainty of Zed's current whereabouts still troubles her greatly. After learning that Zico is going to Tusk to look for Zed, Roya begs him to take her with him. Roya tells him that she has to be by Zed's side to help him.
Having been inspired by the character designs of a particular video game when she was younger, Aoba Suzukaze, a high school graduate, begins working as a character designer for the game's developer, Eagle Jump. As she works on modelling and designing characters for games in development, she becomes acquainted with her colleagues in the character design department, as well as those from across the company.

Following Phyllis' accident, Summer begins working in modeling. Esmeralda (Briana Nicole Henry), a longtime model, interacts with Summer at a Jabot Cosmetics photo shoot, and afterward offers her the phone number of her drug dealer for energy pills. Eventually, Summer takes three pills in order to stay awake during the shoot after waking up early. Summer, who begins to breathe heavily, leaves the shoot to get air.
And determined, to take revenge, Zainab begins her life afresh. She leaves home and despite opposition from her family begins working as a model and later as an actress under the nom de plume Parizaad. Parizaad becomes widely popular among the masses but still Zainab remains to be viewed negatively by her family and the society. Her father dies and her family disowns her.
Jared knows more about the portal than them and begins working on getting it working. During this period, Rix, who survived his betrayal by Attia, takes on Kerio as an apprentice, after which Kerio reaches the humanoid shell. Rix attempts to kill Attia in revenge but is stopped by Kerio. Keiro decides to not give the glove to the A.I., putting it on himself.
Victor then asks J. T. to investigate Colleen in order to take away her seat on the Newman Board. J. T. quits his job at Newman and begins working with Paul. Colleen dies in October 2009 from drowning. J. T. is heartbroken and admits to Colleen that he loves her, which ultimately brings the end to his marriage with Victoria as they decide to divorce.

Two village boys, the best friends Saman (Sambas) and Anang (Mohamad Mochtar), try to join the army. Saman is not accepted owing to a lame leg, but Anang begins training. Saman, meanwhile, begins working indirectly for the Japanese occupation government by taking up work at a food company.
When Malachi makes it difficult for Henry to obtain an attorney, Cady decides to represent him. Henry gets released on bail and sets out to prove his innocence. Malachi is also released and begins working as security for Jacob Nighthorse, a prominent Cheyenne businessman and developer. Both Branch and Henry uncover clues that point to Nighthorse's being involved in their cases, with Ridges as a key figure.
Maggie finds it hard to concentrate on her studies and she fails an exam. After she pleads her case, Maggie is allowed to graduate and she begins working at a law firm with Toadie. Maggie learns he likes someone at work and assumes it is the sandwich girl. Maggie and Evan continue to grow apart and Maggie accuses him of trying to control the family.
Rufus is later shot by his girlfriend Jesse. Needing more information for his investigation, Tanner apprehends Jesse and takes her to the police station, where she reveals that Jean-Paul is now in San Francisco. Tanner goes to San Francisco, where he meets Castaldi, Jean-Paul's boss, and begins working directly for him. He also meets Rusty Slater, his former racing rival, who also works for Castaldi.
Josh Nichols (Josh Peck) is Drake and Megan's stepbrother. Unlike Drake, Josh is knowledgeable, diligent, caring, and does well in school, although he is socially awkward. In the pilot episode, he had a job for the school newspaper in which he wrote advice for students under the name Miss Nancy. In season two, he begins working for Helen at the fictional Premiere movie theatre.
In season 6, when The Luncheonette business is slow, Adam takes time to teach the "culinary arts" class at Chambers Academy, the school Kristina starts. After The Luncheonette is broken into and robbed, Adam steps away from the business. After receiving an offer to re-enter the corporate world, Adam finds his passion in running Chambers Academy after Kristina begins working on opening more schools.
Following their rescue, Frank begins working for Ajira Airways. He encounters the survivors again three years later, while piloting Flight 316 to Guam. Frank realizes the Oceanic Six intend to return to the island, and minutes later, the flight experiences extreme turbulence. Frank and his co- pilot are able to land the plane on the adjacent Hydra Island, although the co-pilot is killed.
Tad and Paul quickly learn that Teabag is bad news and have trouble convincing Hannah. Eventually Hannah realises the truth before leaving Erinsborough. Tad begins working at local restaurant, Grease Monkeys but his hours cause friction with Madge and Susan. Barry, Tad's father pays him a visit and reveals that he and Coral are separating, with the intention divorce and also tells Tad that he is adopted.
Superboy then received his own series, the third series from DC Comics simply entitled Superboy. In Superboy #1 (Feb 1994), Superboy settles in Hawaii with his supporting cast, becoming Hawaii's resident superhero for the next four years, until Superboy #48 (Feb 1998). Starting in Superboy #56 (Nov. 1998), Superboy returns "home" when he begins working for Project Cadmus, the same project that created him.
She eventually makes it to the ceremony and she and Roy are married. Roy receives a letter from his estranged mother, Sylvia Goodwin (Stephanie Cole), telling him that his stepfather has died. A few days later, Sylvia turns up in Weatherfield to give Roy a train set. Hayley asks Roy to let Sylvia move in with them and she begins working with Roy in the café.
It emerges that Martin is sexually harassing Dee, but denies it when she makes a complaint. Darcy invents a plan to bring Martin to justice by befriending him and ultimately tricking him into confessing his misdeed, which is recorded on a hidden tape record. When Chloe finds out she is unimpressed and she and Darcy part. Darcy begins working on a scheme to win Dee back.
During the fourth season, Dmitri begins working for the Central Intelligence Agency as an analyst under Dr. McCord, now the head of the Special Activities Division; he also starts secretly dating Stevie McCord with Henry's knowledge. After his identity is compromised, Dmitri is reassigned to Alaska. He returns to Washington in due course, where he reconciles with and marries Stevie in the sixth season.
John Butler, portrayed by Richard Huw, first appeared on 19 December 2019. John is Jimmi Clay's (Adrian Lewis Morgan) solicitor. After Jimmi is arrested for the possession of Class A drugs, John begins working with him, trying to prove his innocence. While Daniel Granger (Matthew Chambers) is looking at the files of George Kenway (Lewis MacKinnon), it is revealed that John is George's father.
Faye goes to court to witness Natasha's sentencing, angering Nathan. Natasha is sentenced to life imprisonment and ordered to serve a minimum term of 21 years before being considered for parole. Faye remarks smugly to Nathan that it was worth waiting for. Faye develops a strong dislike of Charity Tate, Cain's girlfriend and second cousin, after she begins working for Jai as a new property developer.
He leaves shortly after. Sonya decides to buy the community gardens and turn the land into a garden nursery. Sonya unsuccessfully applies for a loan, but Toadie begins working for a law firm and gets the loan, allowing Sonya to buy the gardens. Sonya and Toadie decide to bring their plans to try for a baby forward, but worry when Sonya does not become pregnant.

He goes to a tiny French village named Wyndeaux, and brings his lover from Paris to live with him. Eventually, he is told that she must return, by the brothel owner's son, who is still very alive.
Lyn begins working as a personal assistant to Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) and she is sacked by Gino. Lyn dotes on her new grandson, Charlie (Jacob Brito). Paul discovers that he is being sued for copyright infringement after he invests in a product Steph designed and he passes the blame onto Lyn. Lyn sells her home and moves in with Paul, they then begin a relationship and get engaged.
The two are shown as workaholics. Sana is especially rude to all of Waleed's family members which eventually leads to Waleed distancing himself from her. To earn some money for her father's (Raffiq) operation, Alishba begins working at her old house without knowing that she is their long-lost daughter. Eventually, the truth comes out and Raffiq begs for forgiveness after which he passes away from throat cancer.
At a party, Nate has an encounter with this smuggler, who gets into a gunfight with him and flees. The smuggler hires two career criminal brothers to rob Nate and Topher of their money and drugs and later to murder them. After a verbal altercation, the brothers strangled and stabbed the smuggler in the woods. Topher begins working in secret with others on drug runs, leading to the crew being robbed.
Austin marries Carrie instead. Some time later, Austin becomes increasingly concerned about baby Will's well- being as Will's father Lucas has a drinking problem. Austin begins spending more time around Will, which means more time around Sami; much to Sami's delight and Carrie's dismay. With Austin not being home as much as he spends time with Will, Carrie begins working more hours at the hospital in which she is employed.
Kasturi revolves around Kasturi Chawla (Shubhangi Atre Poorey), a young woman from a middle-class family. After graduating from university, she begins working for Robbie Sabharwal (Karan Patel) - a spoilt, arrogant, yet immensely popular rockstar. He took over the Moon and was able to drug the Goddess Diana, but was defeated by Wonder Woman. He eventually begins working independently from Mars, and continues to unsuccessfully battle Wonder Woman.
Robert Swayze "Robby" Keene (Tanner Buchanan) (b. Feb 4, 2002) is Johnny's estranged 16-year-old son. The film's animation team researched at Carnegie Mellon University to help conceive Baymax's design. Directors Don Hall and Chris Williams wanted Baymax to be "appealing but also huggable." Ryan Potter (Hiro's voice actor) states that Hiro sees Baymax as a representation of Tadashi. Portrayed by Alimi Ballard (Season 1) Herbal Thought is another of Max's friends and coworkers at Jam Pony. A heavily accented rastafarian and marijuana enthusiast, Herbal was said to be an "urban philosopher" who "offered wise counsel" to Max. His character does not appear in season two, and no explanation is given for his disappearance. Luisa Alver (portrayed by Yara Martinez) is the doctor who artificially inseminated Jane, as well as Rafael's sister. She's an alcoholic and in love with her stepmother, Rose. The two have an on and off relationship before spending three years together until Rose is found and arrested. Luisa eventually begins working with the police to end Rose's reign of terror, and eventually pushes the latter to her death in the penultimate episode, and also reconciles with Rafael and Jane.
Tim, now having embraced his sexuality, makes repeated attempts to meddle in Ben's new relationship, eventually convincing Ben that Jace is cheating on him so that they can get back together. Ben eventually learns the truth, and decides to leave Tim and get back together with Jace. The third and final segment of the novel takes place in 2003. After having graduated, Ben begins working part-time as a speech therapist and actor at a dinner theater.

In 2000, Matt Clark resurfaces in town under the alias of Carter Mills, having had plastic surgery to change his appearance, and begins working at Nick and Sharon's coffeehouse. Carter uses Tricia Dennison (Sabryn Genet), a woman he slept with, to frame Nick for selling drugs. Sharon grows close with Carter while Nick is in jail. Carter nearly succeeds in raping Sharon by using a date rape drug, but Nick arrives home and his plans are thwarted.
Dima believes that the only way to her heart lies through money and status, which in turn are only attainable through ambitiousness and egoism. This belief is strengthened when Dima sees the success of Nastya's friend, Max (Ivan Zhidkov), who also happens to have a Mercedes. Dima begins working as a flower delivery boy. During one of the runs, he gets into trouble with Kuptsov's men, and while being chased by them, accidentally engages the car's flight system.
After hearing of the Indian Hill breakout, he deduces that she escaped alongside the others. Gordon agrees to find her when he doubles the GCPD's offer. Cobblepot begins working on his campaign, showing Butch (Drew Powell) that the headquarters are based on Dahl Manor, planning on leaving a legacy for his father. Selina (Camren Bicondova) approaches Bruce for help in locating Ivy but they end up having an argument and she calls Bruce selfish before leaving.
After graduating from high school, Jin Dal-rae begins working at a local bank in Pyeongchang County. There, she meets Jang Tae-oh, a mountain climber, and she follows him to Seoul, where they get married. Dal-rae becomes pregnant, but before the baby is born, Tae-oh is killed in a freak accident in the mountains. Dal-rae moves in with her mother-in-law, Lee Soon-seom, and together the two women raise her daughter, Yoo-jin.

Sally chides Jimmy for his ingratitude and self-absorption, and dumps him for good. Jimmy moves to the West Coast and begins working for another meat packing company.
Max soon realises that Bobby is a scared child and remorseful for his actions, so welcomes him to the community. Bobby meets with Imran (Reda Elazouar), a friend from the Young Offenders Unit, who gifts Bobby a Quran and a prayer mat because he is converting to Islam. Bobby begins working at his father's restaurant, where he befriends Iqra Ahmed (Priya Davdra). After realising that Bobby has converted, she invites him to the Eid celebrations at her house.

His proposal to build an Art Nouveau structure stirred countless controversy, being supported by the Liberals in power but harshly criticized by the entire opposition. As the building's foundation was being cast, the politicians who appointed Renard were replaced. The construction was halted and Renard was quickly replaced with Petre Antonescu. Antonescu envisioned a theater-like building with two towers in the Neo-Romanian style and thus begins working on the new plans by pouring a second foundation.

Lillian begins working in the White House as a seamstress but is not allowed to work as a domestic servant due to her disability.
Pilar eventually discovers the truth and decides to leave Alberto and file for divorce. This complicates things further as Alberto begins to seek the companionship of women near him, and he forms a friendship with Liana which later turns them into lovers. Pilar is disgusted when she finds out about this betrayal, and she ends her friendship with Liana. Pilar then decides to rebuild her life, and she begins working for the handsome Damián Galvés who offers his support.

Malcolm briefly dates Debbie Martin (Marnie Reece-Wilmore) and decides to leave university to work as a handyman for Sam Kratz (Grieve). When Sam leaves Erinsborough, Malcolm is left in charge of the business and he eventually buys it with Darren Stark. Malcolm dates Year 12 student, Shona Munro (Bryony Price) when he begins working at the school.
Malcolm decides to go travelling, but he realises that he and Catherine are meant to be together and she books a ticket on the same flight as him to Europe. After travelling for a while, the couple settle in England and get married. Malcolm also begins working for Cuppa Diem. Malcolm returns to Erinsborough the following year to meet his new nephew, Ben (Noah Sutherland) and to find a suitable location for Cuppa Diem's first Australian branch.

She then goes to the police station and make a full confession. Charity is charged and sentenced to two years in prison. Three years later, Bails begins working with Tracy on a police campaign to support sex workers.
In response, Lady Quark damages the device, further frustrating Supergirl who telekinetically knocks her across the city. Fortunately, the device begins working again, and Supergirl follows it until Lex's voice comes through it, berating her. Angrily, she drops the device, letting it smash and realizing too late that she's just destroyed the only hope of getting off the planet. Determined to get Lex off of her back, she wonders if other cities will give her sanctuary.

Trauma Team is set in the same fictional universe as the other Trauma Center titles, although there is little to no narrative connection. The exact location is Resurgam First Care, a fictional hospital in Portland, Maine, USA where many of the protagonists work. The storyline follows six protagonists working at Resurgam. "CR-SO1" is an amnesiac prisoner convicted of bioterrorism; due to his surgery skills, he begins working at Resurgam to take years off his sentence.
Malcolm Crowe, a child psychologist in Philadelphia, returns home one night with his wife Anna after having been honored for his work. A young man appears in their bathroom and accuses Malcolm of failing him. Malcolm recognizes him as Vincent Grey, a former patient he treated as a child for hallucinations, but before he can talk Vincent down, Vincent shoots him and then himself. The next fall, Malcolm begins working with Cole Sear, a young boy.

Although Masood reveals his previous theft, Zainab forgives her son, and invites him to move into the family home when he is evicted for failing to pay his rent. Syed introduces his family to his girlfriend, Amira Shah (Preeya Kalidas), who soon moves to Walford to be near him. He begins working for his parents' catering company, and develops an attraction to his colleague, Christian Clarke (John Partridge).

Kit finds out in her next file that she must show that she can provide for the unicorn financially.

When Adam confesses that there has been a chemical spill, John is furious as it incident could threaten the future of the farm and their business. Eve Jenson begins working on the farm and starts flirting with John. He ends up telling her about Holly's drug problems and when he gives her a lift home, John and Eve share a kiss, which Cain Dingle witnesses. He begins blackmailing John into paying an outstanding garage bill and later tells Moira what happened.
Later, he travels on the Great Northern to Spokane, Washington and takes a ride on the plane of two men from Alberta. He then meets his childhood friend Eddie Sauer and the two travel to Meadow Creek, where Eddie begins working on a "rail-and-ties" crew. A month later, Eddie pays Grainier to help him move a widow named Claire Thompson from Noxon, Montana to Sandpoint, Idaho. Grainier continues to live in his cabin, despite having arthritis and rheumatism.
The discovery of his sterility clears him of being Tasha's rapist as well as being drugged that night. Martha and Irene Roberts (Lynne McGranger) refuse to listen to him and try to drive him out of town. After selling the land the Believers previously lived on, he begins working for Bruce Campbell (Chris Haywood) as a farmhand. Martha spray paints "Evil" on Michael's van and he chases after her, but they fall into a mineshaft, forcing them to be trapped for the night.
Keith discovers Leo's participation in the theft, however, he covers for him by stating that the tapes were stolen because Leo was not at his post. Leo is promptly fired from the sheriff's department, but is able to keep the money that Logan paid him and help his sister. Leo begins working for a private security company, and finds himself working for Woody Goodman's daughter Gia. Leo contacts Keith when he is concerned that his security company's warehouse is about to be robbed.

However, Aleksei no longer has his Rhino suit and is living with his new wife, Oksana. Meanwhile, Peter begins working full-time at the Front Line and on his first story the new Rhino attacks Aleksei. Spider- Man fights the new Rhino to protect Aleksei and is defeated.
One day, Susan asks one of Alice's former boyfriends and a fellow working-class lover, Mick (Sting), to father her child. He reluctantly agrees to conceive a child with her, but is discouraged that she would want to raise the baby without him. When her job in the coronation committee is done, Susan begins working in advertising, but leaves within months, finding the work unsatisfying. Over time, Mick tries to court Susan, but she refuses to consider having a real relationship with him.

23-year-old Martine (Olivia Thirlby) has just arrived in the Silver Lake area of Los Angeles when she moves into a wealthy family's pool house, and begins working to complete her art film. Meanwhile, Peter (John Krasinski), a laid-back father of two, agrees to his wife's request to help their young guest complete the project. The more time Martine spends with her surrogate family, the more apparent it becomes no one will walk away from this situation unchanged.
Alexis confronts Luis Alcazar about her sister's death, to which Alcazar threatens Alexis and she accidentally pushes him to his death. In 2003, she fakes dissociative identity disorder to avoid jail time, while Ned is given custody of Kristina and brings her to live with the Quartermaine family. Alexis disguises herself as a man named Dobson and begins working at the Quartermaine mansion to be closer to her daughter. With the help of psychiatrist Cameron Lewis, Alexis eventually regains full custody of Kristina.
One night, several men awaken them and insist that they come to the police station. On the way, the men beat Parshya and one tries to rape Archi. A woman from a nearby slum, Suman Akka who lives with her young son, intervenes and saves Archi and Parshya from certain tragedy. Akka offers Parshya and Archi a spare shack to live in, and helps Archi find employment in a bottling factory; Parshya begins working as a cook at Akka's dosa stall.

However, Finn changes it back and John Paul goes down. Robbie ditches his bad boy attitude and begins working towards his A-levels with the help of cover teacher Nancy Osborne (Jessica Fox).
Roy Kleinberg is one of ENCOM's first computer programmers and coworker of Alan Bradley. He is played by Dan Shor. He makes only a brief cameo at the start of the first film, where he creates the Ram program that makes connections between ENCOM and an unnamed insurance company and begins working in a cubicle next to Alan's. When Alan went to Ed Dillinger about being blocked from the system, Kleinberg asks if he could have some of his popcorn which, Alan allows.
However, Kat tells Ash that they have to keep their relationship a secret until she is no longer on probation at work. Kat and Ash's relationship is tested when he wins custody of his young niece Luc Patterson. Kat begins working longer hours in order to bring down a drug dealer and gain a promotion, forcing Ash to care for Luc on his own. Ash calls Kat for help when he cannot settle Luc, but Kat refuses to return to their apartment.
While a writer for the Sunday Mail called him a "creepy" lawyer. Anderson reprised his role as Tim in 2013. On 24 January 2016, Melinda Houston of The Sydney Morning Herald praised Anderson's appearance on the show, saying "Absolutely stealing the show tonight is Ben Anderson as Tim Collins, erstwhile crony of Paul Robinson and now a major player on the apparently powerful and prestigious Erinsborough Council." Toadfish Rebecchi meets Tim when he begins working for legal firm Stewart, Whitehead and Moore.

Guy spends a night sleeping on the floor of the Coffee Shop, and after Harold leaves town, Guy moves in with Brenda. Guy begins working at the Coffee Shop, where he flirts with the female customers.
However, Peralta reveals his plan to Holt: without Holt knowing, Peralta secretly used Diaz to open the cabinet, Jeffords and Santiago to open the office's window, and Jeffords and Boyle to copy Holt's fingerprints on the phone with a plastic paper and use it to open the vault. Peralta ends up winning the bet and Holt begins working on the paperwork. The episode ends as Diaz attacks an escapee inmate, telling Jeffords that she left the ballet school for punching a classmate.
Charlie Bradfield, portrayed by Philip McGough, first appeared on 5 January 2010, and made his last appearance on 23 September 2010. Charlie was disliked at The Mill, due to his sexist, homophobic and racist views. When he begins working at The Mill, he bullies colleague Simon Bond (David Sturzaker) for being gay, which contributes to Simon having a breakdown. Charlie's former friend Heston Carter (Owen Brennan) tries to defend Charlie's behaviour at first, but when he sees it firsthand, Heston is appalled.

While Carver stays in the Western and turns a new leaf after taking Colvin's advice, Herc begins working the security detail for Mayor Clarence Royce. At one point, he accidentally catches Royce receiving fellatio from a secretary. Carver sets Herc up for a meeting with the politically savvy Valchek, who encourages Herc to take advantage of the situation and quickly make rank. Herc meets with Royce, who calls now-Commissioner Burrell to have him promoted to sergeant in exchange for his silence.
Six months into his presidency, Frank pushes for a controversial jobs program called America Works. Determined not to be a "placeholder" President, Underwood reverses his previous pledge and runs in the 2016 election, competing against Heather Dunbar in the Democratic primaries. When Frank refuses to reinstate Doug as his Chief of Staff, Doug appears to switch sides and begins working for Dunbar. Gavin helps Doug track down Rachel and delivers findings purporting that she is dead, causing Doug to suffer a relapse.

The Parks Department volunteer to become her campaign staff, with Ben as Leslie's campaign manager. Leslie's campaign faces myriad setbacks against her main opponent, Bobby Newport, and his famous campaign manager Jennifer Barkley. In the fifth season, Leslie begins working as a City Councillor but finds opposition in angry locals and her fellow councilmen.
In 1955, a young Henry Hill becomes enamored of the criminal life and Mafia presence in his working class Italian-American neighborhood in Brooklyn. When she and her father need more money to pay the bills, Kim goes looking for a job with better pay. Her friend recommends a job choice as a chalet girl, working in the Alps for rich clients.
In the present day, Emily begins working as a housekeeper at Green Lanterns house, owned by crime novelist Hugo Dore (Paul McGann) and his wife Harriet. The Dore's other housekeeper, Mrs Gantry, (Doreen Mantle) tells Emily about Green Lanterns' mysterious past. In the late nineteenth century, the house was owned by Dr Thadeus Northcote (Kevin McGowan) and his wife (Amanda Hadingue). Dr Northcote had an affair with his Egyptian housekeeper, Selima El Sharad (Sofia Hayat), who supposedly put a curse on him when the affair ended.
She then plans a stylish revamp. Steph Britton (Tisha Merry) also begins working at the bistro as a waitress sometime in 2014 and is later joined by Gavin Rodwell. However, "Gavin" almost loses his job in January 2015 when he reveals to Steph that his real name is in fact Andy Carver (Oliver Farnworth) and that he has stolen his friend Gavin's identity and is using it to meet his father, Michael Rodwell (Les Dennis), who is engaged to Gail. Andy keeps his job despite this.

Andy hopes for a date, but is disappointed to learn she has a boyfriend. Libby begins working as a receptionist at the vets and has to fend off the flirtations of Max King (Charlie Kemp). When they are evicted, Lance turns to Max Farnham for help and manages to convince him to let them stay with him. He later clashes with Dave Burns (Simon Chadwick), who suggests that Lance may be lying about his long-distance boyfriend Fred. Fred turns out to be real and a fake wedding between Bev and Fred is staged in order for him to remain in the country.
Dr Farley takes her to Japan, explaining that it is a "top-secret government program." He has built a full-scale model of Amelia's drill, but it is not working properly; Amelia begins working on it. Meanwhile, Hugo delivers a package to Mike—it's a video of Dr. Farley, who promises not to hurt Amelia as long as Mike does not contact the authorities. Mike springs into action, contacting Edith and Minkey, persuading them to come out of retirement to help him save Amelia.
They make love one last time and Natalie leaves heartbroken. She quits her job at the police department and begins working for Asa. Natalie is babysitting Jessica's daughter Bree in the park and tells her how she had hoped to bring her own baby boy to the park and how he would have dark hair and blue eyes and his name would be Johnny. Then she sadly says that he'll never exists (years later, Natalie would give birth to John's son, Liam who matched her description).
After hanging out with Ryusuke and seeing him play with his former band, Koyuki slowly becomes interested in Western rock music. Ryusuke gives him a guitar, but when Koyuki breaks it, Ryusuke tells him never to speak to him again. At the same time, Ryusuke forms his new band Beck, with vocalist Tsunemi Chiba, bassist Yoshiyuki Taira, and Togo, the drummer from his previous band. Koyuki begins working for, and learning guitar from, 44-year-old Kenichi Saitou in exchange to have the guitar fixed.
McGarrett and the task force track down a suspect who might be connected to the stolen list of undercover CIA agents. When the suspect gets away, the task force run into Thomas Magnum and his partner, Higgins and discover that they are looking for the same suspect for a client they are looking after. McGarrett reluctantly begins working with Magnum and his team to try to find the stolen list. Meanwhile, Tani reaches out to Adam concerning about his wellbeing only for Adam to flee Hawaii.
Julie takes the blame when Lola accidentally injures Jay while he is working in the Arches. The accident occurs when Lola begins working for Phil but he fires her after catching her stealing. Lola, in a fit of rage, smashes up the Arches and kicks a piece of heavy equipment down into the pit, which hits Jay and knocks him unconscious. Lola goes back to the care home when Jay gives her a day to confess the truth, and is persuaded to come back by Billy.
Julia begins working on reception at the Riverside Practice (later renamed to The Mill) in January 2003, alongside ex-husband Mac McGuire (Christopher Timothy). The two begin their relationship again, which leads to Mac proposing to Julia, which subsequently leads them to get married for a second time. Julia catches Mac kissing his ex-wife Kate McGuire (Maggie Cronin), and forces them to leave with their son to Ireland. Julia, now divorced in 2007, buys Mac's share of The Mill, and becomes the Practice Manager.

She puts him in touch with her church deacon to help him find work, but resists any other involvement. The deacon suggests that Cutty study to obtain his GED, but Cutty sees this as too difficult and, despite his initial hesitation, begins working with the Barksdale crew soon after his parole. His effectiveness and intelligence as an enforcer is shown on several occasions when working for Avon.
Cottard goes mad and shoots at people from his home, and is soon arrested after a brief skirmish with the police. Grand begins working on his novel again. The narrator of the chronicle says that he is Dr. Rieux and states that he tried to present an objective view of the events. He reflects on the epidemic and declares he wrote the chronicle "to simply say what we learn in the midst of plagues : there are more things to admire in men than to despise".
Each episode sees a celebrity head chef taking on the culinary challenge of producing a full three-course meal with two wines. This meal is then served to the restaurant's customers and the resident critics, Tom Doorley and Paolo Tullio, who are joined each week by a guest critic. The head chef arrives on location at 10:00 on the day of filming and immediately begins working with the team. The head chef's first task is to describe their own menu to the kitchen staff.

He was introduced in the episode "The Me Nobody Knows" as a cardiothoracic surgeon who had worked overseas with April Kepner during her time in Jordan. After bringing a patient to Grey-Sloan Memorial, he begins working there as an attending under Maggie Pierce.
Manipulated by his older self, Pietro begins working to take the Terrigen Crystals back to Earth and restore the mutant population. However, after Libra betrays the group and helps Darkseid conquer the Earth, Black Manta quits.

Charity and Cain start stealing cars to make money after Charity steals a businessman's keys after flirting with him at a local hotel. However, the second time they try this, they learn that their target, Declan Macey (Jason Merrells), knows people in the village and spots Charity. Declan tells her that he will not go to the police if she returns the car and has a drink with him. Charity helps Chas get revenge on Carl for cheating on her and begins working for Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson).
Clando is a 1996 drama film from Cameroon directed by Jean-Marie Teno. Initially set in Douala, the film explores the experiences of Anatole Sobgui (played by Paulin Fodouop), a man who loses his job as a computer programmer and begins working as an unlicensed cab driver (or 'clando') who is arrested and tortured by a corrupt regime for printing anti-government leaflets. Alfred becomes a target of the Raven Society, a group conspiring to take over the British government, and begins working against them alongside American agents of the No Name League, Thomas Wayne and Martha Kane, the future parents of Bruce Wayne/Batman.
Thaddeus Bile (voiced by Jeff Pidgeon) is a trainee Scarer who is also called "Phlegm". It is about a man named Skip Sands who joins the CIA in 1965, and begins working in Vietnam during the American involvement there. The time frame of the novel is from 1963 to 1970, with a coda set in 1983. One of the protagonists of Tree of Smoke is Bill Houston, who was the main character in Johnson's 1983 debut novel Angels.

Nixon for President, so that in exchange for Teamster endorsement, Hoffa will receive a presidential pardon. Hoffa is released from prison and expects to again run the Teamsters, but learns that one of the conditions of his release is that he is ineligible to run the union for 10 years.

She sets the wood down next to a tape player that is playing, but the wood inexplicably begins to seep water, causing the tape player to short circuit. A mysterious man's voice emerges from the tape player swearing revenge, and the words "6 must die" appear on the wood before it bursts into flame. Stevie quickly extinguishes the fire, but she then sees that the wood once again reads "DANE" and the tape player begins working normally again.
Wanting to escape the bustle of the city, visual artist Leonardo Ferri prepares to move from Milan to a rural estate in the Italian countryside with his British girlfriend, a gallery curator named Flavia. After the fall of the X-Corporation, Jamie Madrox begins working as a private detective in the "Mutant Town" area of New York, along with former X-Factor teammates Wolfsbane and Strong Guy. In the passing time, Madrox has been sending out his duplicates to lead lives of their own. Among these dupes are a Shaolin monk and an Olympic Gymnast. By this point, his powers are developed to such an extent that any dupe who gains sufficient skills can pass its knowledge on to Jamie, giving him a wide variety of training instantly.

Once Chris begins working, his boss, Angela, is surprised to see his work ethic and offers him a raise.
In the meantime, Peter attempts to find a new job, as Chris begins working overtime at the brewery. Becoming exhausted by work, Chris begins drinking, and taking his anger and frustration out on the family, and eventually suffers a heart attack. A security expert Kyle Western (Weathers) begins working for the high-profile gangster Lou Jordan (Williams), who is an antique-car enthusiast. Cale, meanwhile, brings Katie to a secluded cabin and becomes aware of Sean's knowledge of her abduction. Motivated by a desire to break people down, Cale begins working to destroy Sean's life, including having Sean, Derek, and Sean's parents fired from their jobs. He also savagely beats Riley Seabrook, Sean's girlfriend, after ruining their relationship by leaking a topless photo of her. Cale then kills Derek and his family in their home and stages their deaths as a murder- suicide, although Sean is able to get a picture of Cale, which he sends to the FBI.
During the assault on Apocalypse's citadel, Sugar Man takes advantage of the chaos to escape by jumping into the M'Kraan Crystal, the "Nexus of all realities". He arrives in the Earth-616 timeline, arriving in an unspecified location some twenty years in the past. Sugar Man travels to Genosha and contacts Genegineer, who he gives the formula for the "mutate bonding process", forcibly enslaving hundreds of mutants to the human Magistrates. When the first Genosha government - led by the Genegineer and Cameron Hodge - falls, Sugar Man begins working behind the scenes to affect the seemingly more peaceful government run by Sasha Ryan.

A depressed Roop takes solace in music, which she begins by learning from the madam of a brothel, Bahaar Begum. Roop expresses interest in writing about the condition of the locality in which the brothel is located, during which she meets with a womanizing blacksmith named Zafar. When eventually confronted, it turns out Lucy despised Rachel for having an affair with her father Glenn in ten years beforehand, ultimately breaking up her parents marriage. The two began to grow close and Lucy moved in with Rachel, adopting a mother-daughter-like relationship. Lucy became best friends with Bella Durville (Amelia Reid- Meredith) but fell in love with her fiancé Dallas Adams (Cameron Jones), kissing him and destroying his engagement to Bella.
Having to take her baby with her to auditions, the child's crying results in Anna not getting a part. Torn between her duties as a mother, and her passion for acting and the need to earn money, Anna is driven to the limits of her patience - with tragic consequences: she drowns her baby in a bathtub. What follows is a downward spiral: she begins working as a prostitute, and under the stage name 'Daisy Diamond', she acts in porn movies. In the end, she finally lands a role, and as part of that role, she plunges into a bathtub.
Brilliant inventor Nikola Tesla arrives in the United States and begins working with Edison, but is disappointed by Edison's unwillingness to reconsider his ideas and to fulfill what Tesla thought was a financial promise which Edison passes off as just a joke. Tesla then leaves Edison's team. Edison fiercely guards his patents and sues Westinghouse. Edison suggests that AC is dangerous and engages in a publicity war, while Westinghouse stands behind the technical merits of AC. As Edison struggles to find ways to make DC more affordable, Westinghouse attempts to get the high- voltage AC system to work with motors.
Tim discovers the deception, and pulls away from his relationship with Stephanie. Unbeknownst to Tim, Batman has also ordered Stephanie to make Robin a stronger hero by challenging him, so Stephanie hires the Scarab, an assassin she encountered while she was Robin. After ordering the Scarab to use non-lethal methods, she also begins working with Tim's enemy, the General, who eventually tries to kill her. Her martial arts skills were able to save her from getting shot in the head—she is instead shot in the shoulder, escaping just in time to save Tim's life when the Scarab goes rogue.

Jimmy reports the results of the interaction to Lalo, who is pleased, while Nacho warns Jimmy that once he begins working for drug dealers like the Salamancas, there is no turning back: "When you're in, you're in." That night, Nacho reports Domingo's release to Gus and explains Lalo's plan for the dead drops. An unhappy Gus decides to maintain the dead drops, because doing otherwise would reveal to Lalo that someone is providing inside information about the Salamancas. Gus is visibly frustrated and angry because leaving the dead drops to be found by police will cost him at least a half million dollars.

Sheila's youngest daughter, Naomi arrives in town and it soon emerges that they have not seen each other in five years, due to Sheila interfering in Naomi's affair with a married man. Sheila offers Naomi a room at Number 26 and Naomi makes it clear that she will not stay if Sheila interferes in her life, and Sheila agrees to back off. Naomi begins working for Toadfish Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney) and Sheila starts to believe that Naomi has set her sights on another married man.
Yoshi raises the four turtles as his sons and trains them in the art of ninjitsu. He names them Donatello, Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Raphael, after his favorite Italian renaissance artists.Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1987 series episode "Turtle Tracks" Oroku Saki eventually leaves Japan and tracks Yoshi to New York City, where he intends to destroy him once and for all. It is also around this time that he begins working with Krang, a disembodied alien brain from Dimension X who ruled his native realm with an iron fist until he was stripped of his body and banished to Earth.
Former CIA agent Nelson Crowe is hired by Vic Grimes for a position with his company nicknamed "The Toolshed." Grimes' firm employs people with intelligence service backgrounds to sell their talents with regard to extortion and corporate espionage to domestic and foreign corporations. Grimes' second in command, Margaret Wells, begins working with Crowe and seduces him, enticing him with a plot to murder Grimes so they can take over the firm. The Toolshed's top client, Curl Industries, is being sued in a class action lawsuit in a case currently on appeal at the Washington state Supreme Court.
As Ko and Aoba enter their summer break, a girl named Akane Takigawa with a striking resemblance to Wakaba moves in next door to Ko. This causes mixed feelings among the various characters, particularly Ko, Aoba, and Akaishi (who had also liked Wakaba). Akane soon becomes friends with Ko and Tsukishimas, and begins working in the Tsukishima cafe. As another year begins, the romantic subplots further solidify when Yūhei expresses an interest in Aoba. Meanwhile, Seishu gains a new assistant coach in the form of Yūhei's older brother Junpei, after Ichiyo agrees to marry him if Seishu makes it to Koshien.
Mitch passes the bar exam and begins working long hours, straining his marriage. Working closely with Avery, Mitch learns that most of the firm's work involves helping wealthy clients hide money in off- shore shell corporations and other dubious tax-avoidance schemes. During a working trip to the Cayman Islands, Mitch hears a client state that the firm's Chicago clients break people's legs, and finds suspicious documents in a locked closet at Avery's vacation house relating to four of the firm's associates who died under suspicious circumstances. While in the Caymans, Mitch is seduced by a local sex worker.
At the beginning of the series he acts as a stay-at-home dad to Lily, though it is mentioned that he had taught music prior to this. In the later seasons Cameron begins working as a football coach. Cameron is also an experienced rock drummer and as a result was brought in at the last minute to play in Dylan's band when they needed a replacement percussionist. Eric Stonestreet portrays Cameron Tucker, Mitchell's husband and father of one It is also mentioned that Cameron was considerably thinner and in better shape when he first started dating Mitchell.
At the same time, Ursula also begins working with a local miners union to help out unprivileged workers with salary and securities. When she learns that she may be pregnant, Anton proposes marriage to her, but she turns him down, wanting to follow her own path in life. After Ursula learns that she is not pregnant, Anton leaves her for good. One day, Ursula is attacked while walking home alone by two mine workers who attempt to rape her, but she escapes and spends most of the day hiding out in a rain-soaked forest, but she makes it back to her farm.
At some point before or after the new "A" arises, Jenna begins working with them and joins the A-Team, though it is unclear to what extent. The character's return for the third season happened in "Blood is the New Black", when the Liars have reason to believe that Jenna is faking her blindness when Toby stumbles upon prescription eye drops dated after Jenna's eye surgery. To test this theory, the Liars planted an earring in the girls' bathroom at school and remained hidden in the stalls. Jenna is proven to be faking her blindness when she picks up and examines the earring.

Football coach Ken Tanaka (Patrick Gallagher) observes them, and warns Emma not to become Will's rebound girl.

Jim is immediately attracted to Jill, and when her brother is killed in a freak crash, he reveals his past and volunteers to replace her dead sibling in their act. As they tour throughout the Southwest, their affection turns physically intimate when they are on the road as they characteristically sleep in adjoining hotel rooms.

Tony and Jacqui then get back together and they destroy the vodka although they are shocked when they see that Trudy has robbed Tony's apartment. Tony makes sure that Jacqui gets extra security in case Trudy does the same to her. Jacqui then begins working for Trudy again to get money as Mercedes is kidnapped by Clare Devine (Gemma Bissix) and Clare demands £200,000 or she will kill Mercedes. However Tony is furious when he finds this out and tells Jacqui that if she continues to work for Trudy then he will leave her and Jacqui agrees not to work for Trudy anymore.
The events of Au Bonheur des Dames cover approximately 1864-1869. The novel tells the story of Denise Baudu, a 20-year-old woman from Valognes who comes to Paris with her younger brothers and begins working as a saleswoman at the department store "Au Bonheur des Dames". Zola describes the inner workings of the store from the employees' perspective, including the 13-hour workdays, the substandard food and the bare lodgings for the female staff. Many of the conflicts in the novel spring from each employee's struggle for advancement and the malicious infighting and gossip among the staff.
A southern man, Jesse Banks Rhodes (Harry Connick, Jr.), is released from a prison work camp in Louisiana, 1936, after being wrongly imprisoned for eleven years. He heads back to Georgia, only to find that most people are keen to keep him down. He begins working for a plantation owner (Walton Goggins) and rents a shed from a farmer (Pete Postlethwaite) with two daughters (Patricia Clarkson and Vinessa Shaw). After witnessing the murder of a black worker at the hands of a drunken white racist boss, Jesse is forced to prove his innocence, so injustice will not happen again.
After his wife Lisa dies from an accidental electrocution, psychologist Cal Jamison relocates with his young son, Chris, from Minneapolis to New York City, where Cal begins working as a police psychologist for the New York City Police Department. The city has been plagued by a series of brutal, ritualistic child murders. The first victim is a young boy found murdered in an abandoned movie theater. A policeman named Tom Lopez frantically phones in the discovery of the body, and claims the crimes are being committed by members of an Hispanic cult practicing a malevolent version of brujería.
Jordan (Marcello Mastroianni) runs a struggling cinema called Splendor in a small town in Italy. Low ticket sales mean that the cinema is no longer a viable business, and Jordan reflects on his experiences running Splendor, from his arrival in the town as a child with his father. He meets French showgirl Chantal (Marina Vlady) at one of her performances, and she comes to work for him as an usher. Cinephile Luigi (Massimo Troisi) repeatedly attends screenings of Il Sorpasso in order to see Chantal, with whom he is besotted, and after a brief fling he begins working for Jordan as the projectionist.
In 1955, Helene moves to Paris and begins working for leading fashion designer Odile as a model. Odile soon makes Helene a director at her fashion house. In 1959, Helene meets and falls in love with American army officer David Westfield when he is visiting Paris, but their affair is short-lived when David is transferred to Vietnam and is killed in action. At the same time, Helene has hired an investigator named Otto Mueller, as she wants to find her brother and sister and the Gestapo commander responsible for the death of her mother years earlier.
Emerence sets her own wages and her own hours, and even chooses which household chores she will or will not accept. Even though she works in Magda's home, Emerence remains as much an enigma to Magda as she is to the rest of the neighbourhood. The neighbours on their street are bewildered by but still respect this odd elderly woman who is so particular in her habits and guards the closed doors of her house with the utmost secrecy. The relationship between the two women changes dramatically some years after Emerence begins working for Magda, when Magda's husband suddenly becomes seriously ill.
Nora agrees and begins working on her own project, a series of shoebox size dioramas of the rooms of famous women artists. Nora grows increasingly enamoured of the Shahids including Lebanese born Skandar, a professor. Sirena eventually unveils her project entitled "Wonderland" a mixed media piece in which she creates, and then films, a world based on Alice in Wonderland which Nora assists her in working on.
Emiko Queen (portrayed by Sea Shimooka; main: season 7; guest season 8), also referred to as Emiko Adachi, is Robert Queen's illegitimate daughter and thus Oliver Queen's paternal half-sister. She is also revealed to be a main antagonist of the season seven arc. When she and her mother are abandoned by Robert Queen, Emiko begins working as a courier for criminal organizations, through which she comes in contact with Dante, a member of the Ninth Circle. Dante takes Emiko under his wing and starts training her, but she still holds out hope for being able to reconnect with the Queens.
Jamila and the President opens with narration from Jamila (Atiqah Hasiholan), a victim of human trafficking, followed by several scenes showing her living a glamorous yet unfulfilling night life. After hearing a news report that a government minister, Nurdin (Adjie Pangestu), has been murdered, Jamila surrenders herself to the police. This surprises her would-be boyfriend, Ibrahim (Dwi Sasono), who feels badly for Jamila and begins working towards freeing her. Under the orders of the president, Jamila is placed in a prison outside Jakarta, where she receives rough treatment at the hands of the guards and warden, Ria (Christine Hakim).
At the funeral, Sayid spots Ben spying on him, who tells Sayid about Nadia's killer, Bakir, to which Sayid carries out his revenge by shooting him repeatedly. Following this event, Sayid eventually begins working for Ben as an assassin, after being informed that Nadia's death was part of a larger plan orchestrated by Charles Widmore. On one such mission, Sayid travels to Berlin, Germany, where he meets a woman named Elsa. The two bond quickly, but the relationship is cut short when Elsa, who works for one of Sayid's targets, learns about his true intentions, and injures him.
Eventually, she is released from Pawiak as a non-Jew, and is reunited with her husband. However, Shayek is found to be a Jew while working in Krakow and is sent to Auschwitz. When Izolda finds out where her husband is, she begins working as a smuggler to send Shayek packages of food and supplies until he is transferred to Ebensee, a subcamp of Mauthausen. She travels to Vienna in attempts to gain information about how to rescue her husband from Mauthausen, but she ends up being arrested by the Viennese Gestapo and tortured until she reveals that she is a Jew.
She is then sent to Auschwitz but is transferred to Guben by persuading Dr. Mengele that she has nursing experience. She escapes Guben and returns to Vienna where she begins working at a military hospital for the German army. When the Soviet army captures the city, they realize that Izolda is a Jew, so they help her to get across the American front to rescue her husband from Mauthausen. She finally reaches her King of Hearts, but a few years later, after having a few children together, Shayek ends up leaving Izolda, consumed by guilt that his entire family died except for him.

She begins working for Tony the pimp (Alex Mann) and things start to look good for her, new clothes, new car and good grades.
Best F(r)iends is a 2017 American dark comedy thriller film starring Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero. Written and produced by Sestero in two parts (Volume One and Volume Two), it marks the reunion of Wiseau and Sestero 15 years after making the cult classic The Room. The plot follows a homeless drifter in Los Angeles who begins working at a morgue, only to realize his boss is hiding a mysterious past. The film played at various festivals starting in September 2017, and in 2018 it was distributed theatrically in two volumes through Fathom Events.

In late March 2007, Talia, Antonio, and Acting District Attorney Evangeline Williamson figure out that the string of arsons plaguing Llanview are being perpetrated by a white supremacist group known as "One Pure People".
J.D. (Chuck Norris), a trucker from California, returns from the road to learn that an old friend was assaulted and paralyzed by Sergeant Strode (Don Gentry), a policeman in Texas City, California. He makes inquiries into Texas City and learns that its policemen Strode and Deputy Boles (Ron Cedillos) have a history of "trapping" truckers for a corrupt judge running various rackets in the so-called "City". When his younger brother Billy (Michael Augenstein) begins working as a trucker, J.D. warns him to stay away from Texas City. But Billy is easily fooled by an officer (Strode) on a CB radio, who pretends he's a fellow trucker.
The following morning, Amber meets with police officers at school, who inform her that Oliver and Becky have both been killed in a car accident, presumably while driving drunk. On the day she is scheduled to fly to Pittsburgh for her audition, Amber discovers that her dog Bobby is sick; she misses her flight to take him to the vet, where she learns he requires expensive surgery. She drops out of school and begins working full- time in order to afford the surgery, forgoing a rescheduled audition and losing contact with her friends. Ty confronts her and accuses her of rejecting help from others, and the two stop speaking.

One of the most important aspects in the first and second films was the romantic relationship between the two main characters; Clark was hopelessly in love with Lois and even gave up his powers to be with her. Several happy months later, Joe's widowed aunt asks to live with them & Joe tiells her yes, although Betsy resents her coming. Joe is aware of her feelings (she had been hoping to bring a baby into their happy home; not Joe's aunt) & this is the first serious difference of opinion in their marriage. Betsy wants to agree with Joe but cannot help feeling bitter until she has an epiphany & realizes that Joe's generosity is one of the things she loves about him. In the end she enjoys Joe's aunt's company and her wonderful stories, especially when Joe begins working the night shift writing headlines for the newspaper.

In 1792, with the French Revolution ongoing, Lorry travels to Paris in order to look after the Tellson's branch there and remove important documents for safekeeping. When Darnay separately travels to Paris and is arrested as a fugitive aristocrat, Lorry remains there and begins working to free him, as well as providing assistance to the Manettes. He gradually softens toward Carton and is deeply touched by the latter's decision to sacrifice his life so Darnay can escape. Carton's final, unspoken thoughts before his execution mention his belief that Lorry will die peacefully in ten years' time and leave his estate to Darnay, Lucie, and their family.
Hanasaku Iroha centers around Ohana Matsumae, a 16-year-old living in Tokyo, who is left in the care of her estranged maternal grandmother, following her mother's elopement with her boyfriend. Ohana arrives at her grandmother's country estate to realize she is the owner of a Taishō period hot spring inn called Kissuisō. She begins working at Kissuisō at her grandmother's request, but finds herself at odds with many employees and customers at the inn. Initially feeling discouraged, she decides to use her circumstances as an opportunity to change herself for the better and to make amends with her deteriorating relationship with the Kissuisō's staff for a more prominent future.
Reilly and Parker bond after Kaine attacks them, and Reilly decides to stay in New York, pretending to be Peter's blonde-haired cousin so that he can build his own life. Reilly adopts the identity of the Scarlet Spider and begins working at the Daily Grind. Reilly and Parker later work with Kaine to reach the lair of the shadowy figure responsible for infecting Mary Jane and Aunt May with a deadly genetic virus. The mysterious villain is revealed to be the Jackal, who captures all three and reveals his plans to make an army of Spider-Man clones in order to take over the world.
Roy Cropper (David Neilson) begins working in the café with Gail when Alma wants to spend less time there and eventually, Alma sells her share in the café to Roy after she and Gail fall out over Stephen's decision to cancel his contract with Mike. Gail and Roy get on very well and things tick over as usual. Roy even gives Gail and Martin a weekend trip to Paris from the vouchers he has saved. In 1997, Don is in prison after attacking Mike and Alma but is diagnosed with terminal cancer and asks to see Gail to make amends for the trouble he caused since Ivy's death.
Jonathan Cole (Scott Wolf), alias FBI Agent Casey Stratton, is one of the primary antagonists of season nine. He was formerly a member of "Phantom Eight", a clandestine team of operatives assigned to the Watcher Fleet tasked with protecting the United States Navy. Cole goes rogue some time after the Phantom Eight are disbanded and begins working with Sean Latham, the corrupt Director of Special Operations for the Office of Naval Intelligence and a former member of Phantom Eight himself. Cole and Latham conspire to sell a series of microchips belonging to Phantom Eight members, which give their owners unrivalled access to the Navy mainframe.
Caroline and her sister twin Christina arrive on Ramsay Street under the pseudonym "Linda Giles" after witnessing a murder and rent Number 22 from Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis). Melanie Pearson (Lucinda Cowden) soon discovers "Linda" is actually two people and the twins eventually reveal the truth to Paul. Carter, the murderer is soon caught and Caroline begins working at Lassiters'. Paul opts to move back in and the twins realise they are attracted to him and both girls agree not to pursue him, and Caroline begins dating Paul's father, Jim Robinson (Alan Dale) who is going through a messy separation with his wife, Beverly (Shaunna O'Grady).

The film ends with Jo and Abby deciding to attend Carnegie Mellon University together, while Tyler attends Penn State University (presumably on a soccer scholarship), which is a short drive from Carnegie Mellon, and Quinn assuming the position she has long coveted — the leader of the Plastics. Although Mandi and Nick both got community service and were allowed to graduate (thanks in some part to their parents for donating a new library for the school), they lost their popularity for their cruel actions, earning Mandi a bad reputation. Chastity learns the meaning of her name, and Hope begins working on overcoming her fear of germs.
Lip has trouble getting over her until Queenie uses reflexology to give him a foot massage that arouses him and "cures" his stress. He is later fired as a resident assistant and takes a job as a sorority's houseboy for the free room and board. He begins working as a teacher's assistant for an alcoholic professor named Clyde Youens, whom he befriends. However, he begins drinking to cope with his break-up with Helene and it soon spirals out of control, resulting in a stay in the hospital for alcohol poisoning and being fired from his job as house boy after he drunkenly urinates on the house mother.
Martin's overbearing mother (Judith Furse), however, soon comes to take him away – but not before the two of them have arranged a rendezvous. The plot then proceeds to the haunted house, where Susan's guardians, not believing in the ghost, have hired an actor to play the part. Susan, however, slips away to her rendezvous before he begins working; consequently, she still has the hiccups when Mrs Martin finds her and Nick trysting together. This fact doesn’t amuse Mrs Martin, who apparently believes that hiccups are contagious; she forbids Susan to see her son again, and suggests that she see a psychiatrist (Jimmy Edwards) about her problem.
Liang begins working as a superintendent in a residential building, and meets a young babysitter named Ah Hsiang (Ing Tsae-ling), whom he is instantly smitten with. Because of her work, he believes her to be from a low socioeconomic background, so he takes her to watch Taiwanese opera (which is enjoyed by mostly uneducated folks), not realizing Ah Hsiang feels exactly the same way about him. After getting fired for mistaking burglars as furniture movers, Liang follows Ah Hsiang to work as live-in servants in an estate, where their romance further develops. The family turns out to be highly dysfunctional, forcing them to quit their jobs.
Suzume plans to work but is only able to get a job at the local farmer's coop thanks to her grandfather's connections. Ritsu, however, has been lending her the shojo manga of Haori Akikaze, which inspire Suzume to draw her own manga. When she meets Akikaze in person—who turns out to be a man—and shows him her work, he suddenly asks her to come work for him. She has to battle with her mother to let her go to Tokyo, but when she begins working for Akikaze, she finds out the main reason he hired her was for the rice treats her grandfather made.
Tom begins working at Entertainment 720 and offers the shoeshinist at city hall, Andy Dwyer, a job, which Andy turns down. Entertainment 720 goes bankrupt due to their massive overspending and no business model and Tom decides to throw one last party which Lucy attends at which he confesses to her that he is broke and jobless. Ron tries to persuade Tom to take his old job back, departing from Tom's early storyline by saying he does his job well and keeps the bosses off Ron's back, but doesn't overachieve to the point where the Parks department is tasked to do extra assignments. Tom initially refuses but eventually agrees.
Before Mumm-Ra can react he is blasted to dust and Skeletor reaches down and picks up the Power Sword telling the Spirits they have a deal. Skeletor retreats to his lab with Mumm-Ra's helmet full of ashes and the Sword of Power and begins working. He quickly finds that, despite his condition, Mumm-Ra is still alive. Amused, Skeletor tells Mumm-Ra that he found out about the Spirits through the Golden Disks of Knowledge and struck a deal with them: the Power Sword and Mumm-Ra in exchange for freedom from the Black Pyramid, something Mumm-Ra was never able to do.
Mok Kwai-lan (Liu Xuan) is an ordinary girl working as a water labourer in one of Guangzhou's most famous restaurants. She lives in a simple and steady lifestyle with her uncle, Mok Ping (Law Lok-lam), and Ping's adopted son, Yau Sam-shui (Kenneth Ma). This simplicity is shaken when she meets the unsociable and eccentric young boxer Lui Ching-lung (Bosco Wong) in an underground martial arts arena, and the ambitious Kwai Fa (Fala Chen), an assistant chef who begins working in the same restaurant as her. Longing for Fa's affections, Sam-shui hopes to become a student of Wong Fei Hung (David Chiang), the greatest martial artist of Guangzhou, in order to impress her.
Horrified, he grabs the painting and hurls it into a room full of identical paintings, all of which begin to laugh. It is revealed that the painter spent years shut in his house working on the same picture multiple times trying to perfect it in a cycle of obsessive mental deterioration. If the player enters the room where the artist threw the painting into, it is revealed that all the portraits are well made and resemble the artist's wife, but he can only see them as a disfigured mess. Returning to the studio, he unveils a blank canvas and begins working on the next painting, further continuing his self-destructive cycle as the screen fades to black.
At the end of World War II in Europe, Fury is severely injured by a land mine in France, and is found and healed by a Berthold Sternberg, who uses him as a test subject for his Infinity Formula. After making a full recovery, Fury begins working for the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), precursor of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Six months into his service, he learns the extent of Sternberg's life-saving operation: the Infinity Formula has stopped his aging, but if he does not receive annual doses, he will age rapidly and die. The doctor begins a 30-year period of extorting large sums of money from Fury in exchange for the injections.
Rajaji angrily denounces his wife and father-in-law and runs away from Mumbai, back to his home where his parents including his mother reject him. He then returns to his wife and tries to apologise but his father in law forces him to leave after ridiculing him by offering him money as he has won the lottery and is now wealthy. Dejected, Rajaji begins working in the factory of Dhanpat Rai the previous employer of Singh and learns the value of hard work and becomes an honest and hardworking man. Eventually he wins back both his wife and father in law and earns the respect of his parents once again by becoming a better man.
Pinky Rose, a timid and awkward young woman, begins working at a health spa for the elderly in a small California desert town. She becomes enamored of Millie Lammoreaux, a relentlessly outgoing and self-absorbed co-worker who talks incessantly. Despite their stark personality differences, Pinky and Millie become roommates at the Purple Sage Apartments, owned by a drinking, womanizing, has-been Hollywood stunt double, Edgar Hart, and his wife Willie, a mysterious pregnant woman who rarely speaks and paints striking and unsettling murals. Millie takes Pinky along on her visits to Dodge City, a local tavern and shooting range also owned by Willie and Edgar, where Millie continues espousing her petty opinions and interests to her new roommate.
In New York City, Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) attends a chemistry reading for Funny Girl, but it is brief and she later hears the director and leading man worry that she's too young, and sings "Yesterday" in frustration. She begins working as a waitress in a singing Broadway diner with Santana Lopez (Naya Rivera) in order to make ends meet and gain life experience. The Funny Girl director and actor show up one day, and Rachel seizes a second chance to impress them by singing "A Hard Day's Night" with Santana. Glee club director Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) gives New Directions a two-week assignment covering the Beatles, with the first week focusing on their early years.
Caught by the police, he is imprisoned, first in a labour camp, then in Mauthausen concentration camp near Linz. In an effort to secure himself protection and meagre comforts at the camp, he turns his forging skills to portraiture, attracting the attention of the guards, who commission him to paint them and their families in exchange for extra food rations. Sorowitsch's talents bring him wider attention, and he is transferred out of the concentration camp. Brought in front of the police officer who arrested him in Berlin, he finds himself put together with other prisoners with artistic or printing talents, and begins working in a special section of the Sachsenhausen concentration camp devoted to forgery.
This, combined with his association with the Nation of Islam, outspoken criticism of the Los Angeles Police Department in the wake of the beating of Rodney King, and starring role in the 1991 film Boyz n the Hood, make him even more famous and controversial. Dr. Dre hires Suge Knight as his manager, through whom he learns that Heller has been underpaying him. He leaves N.W.A to form Death Row Records with Knight, who has his men threaten Heller and beat Eazy-E to pressure them to release Dr. Dre from his contract with Ruthless. Dr. Dre enjoys his newfound freedom and begins working with other rappers including then newcomer Snoop Doggy Dogg.
When a new nurse, Cherry Malone (Sophie Abelson), begins working at the practice, Daniel finds himself growing attracted to her, and the pair later have sex, despite Cherry's husband Jimmi (Adrian Lewis Morgan) being a colleague of Daniel's. It was during this time that Daniel discovers that one of his patients, Cybil, has died, leaving him a large amount of money in her will. Daniel spends this money on a high-end sports car and a luxury apartment. Zara Carmichael (Elisabeth Dermot Walsh) comes over to his flat, but she ends the relationship within the same day, stating that they needed to get it out of the way before they could work together.
Stan Davis is vampire sheriff of Dallas, and his normal guise is that of a nerd: taped glasses, short sleeved button up shirt, etc. He is first introduced in the second novel, Living Dead in Dallas, when he requests the services of Sookie to help him find his missing nest brother, Farrell. Stan is one of the few vampire minds that Sookie has managed to catch a glimpse of; he is apparently a much older and more worldly vampire than he lets others believe, with his origins somewhere in Eastern Europe. Telepath Barry (the bellboy) Horowitz begins working for him after Stan discovers, in the second novel, that another telepath lives in Dallas.
He made a further appearance on 6 October 2017, when he appeared as a ghost to Emma, however this was his last. Upon his arrival, Finn reveals to Val Pollard (Charlie Hardwick) that he is gay and has a crush on David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden), who just happens to be Val's stepson. Finn befriends Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) and begins working for Val and her husband Eric (Chris Chittell) at the B&B; and later takes up a job working for Declan Macey (Jason Merrells), whom he reveals he also has a crush on. Finn makes a plan to move to Tokyo to start a new life, but realises he does not have enough money.
Meanwhile, Terry begins courting Kelly, a classmate of his from a drunk drivers education course, while Lina moves into the Manhattan and begins working at an art gallery. As the Summer transitions to Autumn, the male characters develop problems of their own amongst one another in the wake of the loss of a loved one. These differences are tested when Hurricane Sandy destroys Sal and Meghan's Long Beach apartment and brings everyone into the same room for the film's climax. A year passes from the film's opening scene when on December 31, 2012, Terry, Lina, Nate, Eric, Sal, and Meghan make plans to go into Manhattan to visit Kelly at her new apartment for a New Year's party.
Ted Fairwell, played by Chris Messina, is an attorney at Braeden Chemical Legal Department who becomes Claire Fisher's love interest after she begins working as a temp secretary. Prior to meeting Claire, Ted had a (one-night stand and some "discreet" making out in the men's room of a local bar) relationship with Kirsten, one of Claire's other co-workers at the Legal Department. Ted insists that it is over, making Claire feel at ease when she secretly makes out with him. On their first date, Ted reveals himself to be a conservative Republican which upsets Claire at the moment when the mood changes to somber after receiving the news of Nate's stroke.
In season 3 Stella sends her son Eric Russo, who had dropped out of college, to Danny in a desperate attempt to set him straight. Eric, who calls Danny "Uncle D", spends the day tailing the Five-0 team on a case involving college professor and his students and finds his calling in forensics after providing some valuable insights which led to the arrest of the perpetrator. He moves to Hawaii and begins working in the forensics lab from season 5 onwards. Danny began his career as a police officer with the Newark PD. When he was a patrol officer, he testified against his training officer, Rick Peterson (Peter Greene), under a subpoena during Peterson's trial for corruption.
In spite of this, Frank's own baggage and 12% approval rating only allows him a tie with Conway in the House, while Claire manages to secure the Senate vote, becoming Acting President of the United States. In light of the tie, Claire orders a special election for Ohio and Tennessee. Meanwhile, Jane Davis, a low-ranking Commerce Department official who has a wide-ranging network of connections and influence, begins working closely with the Underwoods. As a private citizen for the time being, Frank attends a meeting of powerful men at a secret society known as Elysian Fields, in an effort to secure their influence for votes in the upcoming special election.
In December 1941, just before the entry of the United States into World War II, an American agent from the Naval Intelligence Office (Cusack) arrives in Shanghai to find his friend Conner (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) was recently murdered. Determined to find out who killed Conner and why, he begins working at The Herald newspaper using the alias Paul Soames, a Nazi-sympathizer cover he used while stationed in Berlin. He meets Anthony Lan-Ting (Chow Yun-Fat), an influential crime lord, and Captain Tanaka (Ken Watanabe) at the German embassy in Shanghai, during an invitation-only event. He later befriends Anthony when he saves him during an attack on Japanese officers by the Chinese Resistance at a night club.
Bloodscream later begins working as a mercenary again with Roughouse, the two being hired by villain the Black Tarantula for a time before being defeated and captured by Spider-Man- although they were unaware of this as Spider-Man fought them using his four new identities- exchanging knowledge of the Tarantula's plans for their freedom. He encounters Wolverine a few more times and has recently been involved in a confrontation with Iron Man in which he was beaten. Iron Man stabbed him with a blade in his armour normally used to interface with outside systems. Maintaining Bloodscream's inability to be hurt with mortally forged weapons, this blade was created by a Stark Enterprises engineering robot rather than a man.
Vedala watches as she runs and trips, and begins dying of infection. As she lies on her back in agony, she reveals to one of Stone's drones in her dying breaths that the Andromeda is on every planetary body in the solar system. It was alien machinery, looking for other life forms. Meanwhile, Kline locks up her fellow astronauts and begins working against the Andromeda, a long-awaited plan. She sees it as yet another threat, and she creates a “space elevator” from the anomaly and tries to create a new strain based on AS-1 and AS-2 to defeat AS-3 with the help of her robot, despite Stern's begging for her to stop.
After being swayed by Peter's memories of Uncle Ben into becoming a hero, Octavius begins working on methods to become more efficient in crime-fighting than Peter ever was, but his ruthlessness prompts Miles to have the Avengers investigate on his behalf. Meanwhile, Peter's consciousness escapes the Living Brain via the Neuro Cortex and downloads himself into Octavius' discarded tentacles after encountering memories of Octavius' past in the process. Octavius (as Peter) re-enrolls at Midtown High and befriends the assistant chemistry teacher Anna Maria Marconi. Discovering how wrong he was about himself and Spider-Man during a fight against a genetically-altered Venom, Octavius reunites Peter's consciousness and body before his tentacles degrade the former into nothing.
Agent Leo Fitz also refuses, as he is loyal to Coulson, but Agent Jemma Simmons is convinced by Morse that uncovering any dangerous secrets is the only way to safeguard S.H.I.E.L.D., and return everything to "normal". Simmons begins working at opening the toolbox herself. Skye awakens in a mountain hideaway with Chinese decor called Afterlife, which is a place where people like her are brought to be safe, and to be chosen/prepared for the transformation. As explained to her by Lincoln Campbell, her transitioner, she is a unique case in that she was transformed without being chosen or prepared, and that she did it in a Kree temple with a Diviner, rather than in the controlled environment and under the elders instruction.
Shrimpy, played by Ben Champniss, made his first appearance on 14 April 2014 as an extra, whose occupation is a market trader on Bridge Street after it is merged with the Spring Lane market. Champniss was first credited in the role on 15 October 2015. Shrimpy begins working on the market in Albert Square alongside Pam Coker (Lin Blakley) and Donna Yates (Lisa Hammond) following the Spring Lane merge and owns a clothing stall, often helping out his co-workers when they are busy running their own errands. He is impressed by Donna and goes on a date with her after she fails to bond romantically with her roommate, Alfie Moon (Shane Richie), however their relationship does not progress any further.
Although assigned to monitor Communist Party activities, his abiding hatred of organized crime leads him to vie for a spot on the Bureau's Top Hoodlum Squad. Each of the three protagonists plot to entrap John F. Kennedy with a call girl; Boyd and Littell for J. Edgar Hoover, Bondurant for Hughes. The set-up is successful, but the Kennedy family discovers that Hughes's "Hush-Hush" tabloid will print the transcripts before the issue went to press, and prevents their publication. At Hoover's direction, Boyd leaves the FBI and begins working with Hoover's personal nemeses - Kennedy and his younger brother Robert—on the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Improper Activities in Labor and Management's investigation of organized crime and union corruption.
As of 2010, the Norfolk Regional Center was a 120-bed facility providing Phase I services in the Nebraska Sex Offender Treatment Program. In the three-phase program, Phase I "orients patients to the treatment process; begins working with patients to accept full responsibility for their sex offending and sexually deviant behaviors; teaches patients to give and receive feedback and utilize coping skills; and builds motivation for the intensive treatment in Phases II and III which are provided at Lincoln Regional Center." Patients included about 50 level-three offenders, who are considered at high risk of re-offending. All patients were confined to the facility, which has high- security correctional fences and locking doors with badge readers and security codes.
The series initially leaves unclear whether Mayama takes advantage of Rika's disability to fulfill his desires, but it is later shown that Rika reciprocates his feelings. At her urging, Mayama begins working for a different design firm, but after it breaks up, near the end of the series, he returns to work for Rika. Despite Yamada's throwing herself at him, Mayama considers her only as his close friend, but he becomes protective of her when a colleague with a reputation for playing girls develops an interest in her. ; : Portrayed by: Mikako Takahashi (anime, Japanese), Julie Ann Taylor (anime, English), Megumi Seki (movie), Natsuki Harada (Japanese TV drama) : A third- year art student, age 21 at the start of the series, specializing in ceramic arts.
Also, Sabrina begins working at Bean There, Brewed That, a coffee shop, where she meets and is attracted to Josh (played by David Lascher), a college student who is the manager of the shop, which leads to her kissing him and thus cheating on Harvey, who ends their relationship, but they soon get back together. Both Dreama and Brad are written out of the series without explanation over the course of the season. At the end of the season, Harvey reaches his "spell quota" (meaning that no spells can be used on him anymore) and discovers that Sabrina is a witch, and later breaks up with Sabrina off screen and is written out of the show prior to the start of the next season.
The Office of Collegiate Affairs at Quaker Valley High School is responsible for assisting students with their college search, application and selection process, their SAT and ACT preparation, scholarship search and financial aid process. Since 90% of Quaker Valley students attend a two or four-year college, most students utilize the resources this office has to offer. Working in conjunction with the guidance counselors and academic specialist, the Director of Collegiate Affairs begins working with students in the fall of the junior year. Also, the Office of Collegiate Affairs oversees visits from college admission counselors and military personnel, letters of recommendation from faculty, and the dual enrollment program with four partners: Penn State Beaver, Robert Morris University, The Art Institute, and Community College of Allegheny County.
His union finally settled the strike when the minimum wage of New York was raised to the hourly rate the strikers had demanded twelve years earlier (Kramer still felt the strike was a success although his fellow strikers apparently all moved on years earlier). He only worked at H&H; Bagels a short time before he was fired, and, during the brief period he was re-employed there, he went on strike at least once more because he was forced to work on Festivus, a holiday only celebrated by Frank Costanza. Along with his stint at H&H; Bagels, Kramer is engaged in a variety of short-lived jobs. In the episode The Bizarro Jerry Kramer accidentally begins working for a company called Brandt-Leland.
Hurt and humiliated by his deception, Ruth has Charlie transferred, but he moves back when Ruth is admitted to a psychiatric hospital. Ruth later returns to the ED and makes amends with Charlie. When Zoe Hanna (Sunetra Sarker) begins looking for a new consultant, following her promotion to clinical lead, and Charlie recommends a former nurse of Holby, Martin "Ash" Ashford (Patrick Robinson), and he later wins the job and begins working in the ED. He also begins mentoring new student nurse, Ally Hunter (Rebecca Newman), but after realising that she doesn't want to be a nurse and that she doesn't need to follow her mother and grandmother's footsteps she leaves the ED and decides to travel the world. Charlie later visits Louis in New Zealand.
When Teru's older brother died, she was left with little more than a cellphone containing the address of an elusive character called Daisy, whom Teru's brother said would watch over her. Daisy became Teru's pillar of strength over the next few years, as he sent her encouraging words through his phone, whether inspiring or mere chatter, as she faces her life alone. One afternoon, after bullies from the student council are mysteriously driven away, Teru accidentally breaks a school window, which results in her working for the grouchy, cruel school janitor named Tasuku Kurosaki. As Teru begins working for the unlikable school janitor, her feelings begin to surpass that of master and servant and she begins to question Daisy's true identity.
Noses are broken, threats are uttered, buckets of feces thrown around and Erik spends a cold winter night soaking wet and tied to the ground. Erik and his friend and roommate Pierre hold in-depth discussions about the nature of evil, the importance of resistance and methods of fighting, while spending summer and winter breaks abroad. Erik develops a forbidden relationship with Marja, a school cook from Savonia, Finland, and wins a swimming trophy in a school championship. He is thrown out of the swimming team as an attempt to make him follow orders, and begins working out obsessively by weightlifting to vent his frustrations, panicked over the prospect of being expelled if he lays a hand on a senior student.
This causes explosive arguments between them, and feeling she has lost her independence, Nancy quits her job at The Queen Vic and begins working and living with Donna Yates (Lisa Hammond). Mick convinces her to come to Mother's Day lunch to build bridges, but when she finds out Lee has quit his job at The Rat and has essentially taken her job at The Queen Vic, they argue and she pushes Lee, knocking their baby brother Ollie Carter (Charlie Harrington) out of his highchair. Ollie appears to be fine but the argument continues, so Mick physically throws Nancy and Lee out through the public bar. Ollie suffers a seizure shortly after the fall and is admitted to hospital where the family learns that he may have brain damage.
Joker murders Grissom for betraying him, takes over his criminal empire by murdering his syndicate members, and scars Alicia's face to equal his disfigurement. Batman begins working to find a way of stopping Joker when he begins terrorizing Gotham City through the use of hygiene products laced with "Smylex" - a deadly chemical which causes victims to die laughing with the same maniacal grin as the Joker. Joker soon develops limerence with Vicki and proceeds to lure her to the Gotham Museum of Art, where his henchmen destroy the works of art within. Batman arrives and rescues Vicki, escaping the Joker's men, before taking her to his Batcave, providing her with the information from his research on Smylex that will allow the city's residents to avoid exposure to the toxin.
Michele Apicella (Nanni Moretti) is a young filmmaker on a lecture tour, speaking to audiences after screenings of his films. An insistent audience member (Dario Cantarelli) who appears at all the different venues repeatedly tells Michele that his films lack social relevance, challenging him to ‘show this film to a labourer from Basilicata, a shepherd from Abruzzo or a housewife from Treviso’. Having finished the lecture tour, Michele returns home to the house that he shares with his mother (Piera Degli Esposti) and begins working on a new project, a film called Freud’s Mother. The strain of making the film takes its toll on him, and he retreats into a dream world in which he works as a teacher at a school and falls in love with one of his students, Silvia (Laura Morante).
Allison DuBois (Patricia Arquette), a mother of three, has the gift of being able to talk to dead people, as well as foresee events and witness past events in her dreams. When she begins working for Phoenix District Attorney Manuel Devalos (Miguel Sandoval) as an intern, she has a dream related to a murder in Texas, the successful solving of which convinces Devalos and others working in the D.A.'s office – as well as herself and her husband Joe (Jake Weber) – that her gift is real. One challenge is convincing Devalos — and other doubters in the criminal justice system — that her psychic abilities can give them the upper hand when it comes to solving crimes. Information comes to her in dreams or in cryptic visions that sometimes do not mean what they initially suggest.
His practice folds in the show's second season after his main client Harlin Polk (Gary Grubbs) fires him, and he begins working for the law firm Doucette & Stein (Doucette played by Gregory Hines and Stein played by Gene Wilder), where he remains until the end of the seventh season, when he quits to do something more meaningful with his life. Will's next job is working for the mysterious Malcolm (Alec Baldwin), but that comes to an end when Malcolm reveals that he is an FBI agent. In the eighth season, Will takes a job at the Coalition of Justice, a business providing legal support for people who cannot afford it. He ultimately returns to Doucette & Stein, taking back his old job after being offered a partnership by his new boss at the firm, Margo (Lily Tomlin).
Mu-young is outwardly rebellious, unforgiving, and in constant conflict with his family; he keeps an emotional distance from them, for fear of getting hurt one day. At school he meets the cheerful and kindhearted Seok Ji-soo (Han Hyo-joo), who not only values her family greatly, but goes out of her way to help others. Thinking too highly of Ji Soo and too low of himself and aware of the possible negative reaction her family might have toward his confession to her, he tries making a distance between himself and Ji Soo. As a grown up, Ji-soo begins working for Myung-ja's stepsister Park Myung-joo (Yoon Hae-young), and learns that she and her single father Seok Jong-hoon (Hong Yo-seob) are in love and she fully supports her father's newfound romance.
They fell in love and married in the spring of his senior year, and just a year later, his daughter Chloe was born. Over the next several years, Rayford leaves the Air Force and begins working as a pilot for Pan-Continental Airlines; when he is thirty, he and Irene unexpectedly have a son, Raymie. Matias also attends Law school, where he befriends classmates Roberta (Fernanda de Freitas), Edu (Paulo Viela) and Maria (Fernanda Machado); all three are members of a NGO sponsored by a senator and operating in a drug traffic area run by a major drug lord nicknamed "Baiano" (Fábio Lago). He also befriends Romerito, a local boy who suffers from severe myopia.
Carl begins working for Toreno in exchange for Sweet's release from prison and subsequently ventures into the desert and Las Venturas. After managing to inadvertently knock both of them off the ship, Rufus discovers she was knocked unconscious when she landed in Kuvaq and that the town's residents seek to have the honour of looking after her. Wishing to prevent this and complete his rescue, he begins working on a way to revive Goal, and does so through a specially-made coffee created from bizarre ingredients he collects around town. When she awakens, Goal is found to be unable to speak properly as a result of her brain implant - a cartridge based system which stores an Elsyian's memory, that was damaged in the fall - though Rufus learns that her fiancé, Cletus, will reward him handsomely for her return. Sabotaging the town's post office to use its radio, Rufus contacts Cletus, and upon convincing him to take him to Elysium in exchange for the return of Goal, agrees to bring her to the Lower Ascension Station beyond the town's borders.

Sinclair posts his first lieutenant, Bartholomew Jones, to command Enchanted and he immediately begins working up his crew. At a party given in honor of Sinclair's hoisting his broad pendant Robert Mason shows up drunk and proceeds to insult everyone there.
