Shao Hai now realizes that he is on the wrong side of this conflict. He goes to seek the advice of his Uncle, who recruits him into the rebellion, something that his Aunt firmly believed in.

Mark finally beats off competition from Gerard to become Dobby's boyfriend, although he continues to behave awkwardly in her company. Gail sacks Mark from his job at the restaurant. Jez pretends to be an intellectual in order to impress Zahra, which enables him to have sex with her. When Mark comes to meet him the next morning the two find themselves locked in Zahra's flat, causing Ben to discover them and Mark to miss his son's christening.

Laurencia, having been beaten and subject to attempted Droit du seigneur (though she beats off her attackers and escapes) enters, but is not immediately recognized. She reprimands the men for not attempting to rescue her, inspiring the men to kill the Commander. While preparations are being made to hang Frondoso, the band of villagers enters and kills the Commander and one of his servants. Flores, the surviving servant, escapes and rushes to Ferdinand and Isabella to tell what has happened.

Fergal MacClure, played by Jason O'Mara, beats off competition from Golly Mackenzie and Duncan McKay for the head ranger job, and beats Archie MacDonald to the heart of Katrina Finlay. At the end of the series, Fergal got a job in New Zealand, and Katrina decided to go with him. But on the train to Edinburgh, Katrina got off the train and ran back to Glenbogle, breaking Fergal's heart. Fergal ran back to Glenbogle to try and sort things out with Katrina, but he could not find her.

It is retrieved at the cost of a battle with its Dagoth-worshipping keepers, whose leader Akiro defeats in a sorcerous duel. Bombaata and Jehnna escape through a tunnel, which the former closes to the others by starting a landslide. Back at Taramis' palace, the queen conducts a ritual to awaken Dagoth that entails the placing of the horn on the forehead of the sleeping deity, and ultimately the sacrifice of Jehnna.

Arriving just as Harry and Lara are escaping, the King of the Fomor declares open war on the surface and humanity, and introduces the last Titan, in possession of the Eye of Balor, who effortlessly beats off almost all other present parties. He declares that in a few hours, the Fomor will rise from Lake Michigan and sack Chicago. The Accordites realize this would almost certainly mean a genocidal war against the supernatural, and would likely result in their extinction... possibly while the Fomor are safe in their underwater cities. Harry flees to Demonreach with Thomas, who is dying from his Hunger.

Fox, who proves worthy of his hire (five shillings a day) as the Badfort Crowd, sniffing treasure from afar, are constantly on the prowl. After many adventures, Uncle eventually tracks down the treasure, an unimaginably vast block of softly glowing gold (or dlog, as they code-name it), beats off a final attack from the Badfort Crowd, and enjoys the acclaim of the grateful inhabitants of Homeward when he decides to distribute the gold for the common good. But the celebrations are interrupted briefly with a reminder that the Badfort Crowd, though defeated, are far from down and out.

SZA performing in Toronto in 2013 SZA first met members of Top Dawg Entertainment during the CMJ New Music Report in 2011, when her boyfriend's clothing company sponsored a show in which Kendrick Lamar was performing. Her early music was given to TDE president Terrence "Punch" Henderson, who was surprised with the quality of the material. The two stayed in touch, and after SZA began generating buzz with the release of her two EPs, TDE stepped in to sign her the label's first female artist in 2013. SZA's early music was recorded with her friends and neighbors in which they "stole a bunch of beats off the Internet". On October 29, 2012, SZA self- released her debut EP See.SZA.Run. On April 10, 2013, SZA released her second EP, S, which was met with positive reviews from music critics.
