Maria Assunta Pallotta (20 August 1878 - 7 April 1905), born Assunta Maria Pallotta, was an Italian Roman Catholic professed religious who served as a member of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary and also as part of the missions to China; the latter proved to - as a minor inconvenience - to be troublesome due to the missionaries killed during the Boxer Rebellion. This inner turmoil can manifest in unacceptable behavior that can be troublesome to parents as well as children. Anders Nystrom and Mattias Norrman With the band finally achieving a stable lineup with Renkse, Nystrom, the Norrman brothers, and Liljekvist, the band began work on their fifth album, the first of four albums the quintet would release over the course of the next decade. While personnel issues no longer plagued the band, recording sessions were still difficult, this time due to financial constraints, which limited how much time they could spend in the studio. The band worked on recording the album off and on from April to December 2000, and while the stopping and starting proved to be troublesome, it also kept them re-evaluating and reworking their material in the downtime, something they felt ultimately helped the shaping of the album. The resulting album, Last Fair Deal Gone Down was released in May 2001, and marked the band further distancing itself from traditional heavy metal music, in favor of more of a hard rock sound.

Reviews for Human Resource Machine were generally positive, crediting the game for being able to distill the complexities of assembly programming into an easily understood visual metaphor. Angus Morrison of PC Gamer rated the game 75 out of 100, considered the puzzle progression to be strong and taught important programming concepts though would have appreciated more instruction on some of the advanced approaches; Morrison also felt the setting and story of the game was under utilized. Laura Kate Dale of Destructoid, giving the game a 6 out of 10, also found the lack of instructional material for advanced concepts in the second half of the game to be troublesome, and felt that the game didn't fully commit to either being a good instructional game for new programmers or a difficult challenge for advanced ones. Laura Hudson of Boing Boing believed the game's approach to programming and its visual style, matching that of Little Inferno, helps to avoid scaring off would-be players, and that some of the puzzles were designed to help make the player feel smart after completing them.

But delays in the construction program, owing to a shortage of dockyards large enough to handle additional hulls of this size, allowed time for additional design studies at the request of the naval command.
