SAS A320neo in the latest SAS livery OY-KBO, named Christian Valdemar Viking at Geneva Airport. The Senseable City Lab begins its project and research work with a vision for an urban future, or "urban demo". This vision is tailored to a particular city's needs and can be motivated by the challenges a place may be confronting, or by opportunities for providing new experiences or services due to advances in digital technologies. Urban demos are designed to be showcased at large public events and exhibitions to stimulate debate between citizens, public administrators, and industry. Following an urban demo, the Lab typically engages in more traditional academic research - analyzing the data that has been collected and producing research papers.

The Anchor Archive Zine Library hosts a zine fair every year in the early fall in which zine authors and other printed media artists from Nova Scotia, as well as outside Nova Scotia, have the ability to showcase their work. This event is called ZineFest, and is a continuation of the formerly named “Halifax Zine Fair”. Through ZineFest, Anchor Archive has begun a residency program, Zinefest Residency, tailored to zine making, in which two artists starting in September of 2020 will begin the residency in Halifax with provided accommodation and studio spaces. Their final projects are to be showcased at ZineFest by October 3rd 2020.

One of the outcomes of Trans Camp was the Trans Comedy Award. This concept was developed during the day by participants, some of whom went on to work in partnership with BBC Writersroom on a new initiative to encourage sensitive and accurate portrayals of trans characters in comedy scripts. The winning script 'Boy Meets Girl’, written by Elliott Kerrigan, was made into a pilot by Tiger Aspect and commissioned by BBC Two in the summer of 2014. Before its release on television, it was one of four pilots to be showcased at the Salford Comedy Festival. It was then broadcast on BBC Two, Thursday 3 September 2015.

The annual festival began in 1975, when folklorist Mick Moloney expressed a need for a venue where Irish music and dance talent could be showcased without a competitive atmosphere, as was the case with all fleaghs. So thirteen people met throughout the summer to make the festival a reality. Quinceton College Zeta fraternity stages a revue with members in drag. The resulting publicity catches the attention of newspaperman Hap Holden (Harry Langdon) and Virginia Collinge (Frances Langford). They convince Virginia's aunt Matilda Collinge (Esther Dale), President of failing Mar Brynn (a woman's horticultural college), to refute the school's staid image by sponsoring a contest awarding a dozen free scholarships aimed at "unusual girls", winners of pageants for fruits, vegetables and flowers, as women most likely to succeed and to be showcased in a musical presentation during the Fall Festival. To publicize the contest, President Collinge pokes fun at Zeta members as being least likely to succeed and bans them from their campus.

In 2007, Cuatro signed an agreement with YouTube that allows clips from Cuatro programs, including El Hormiguero, to be showcased on the site. In 2009, El Hormiguero was awarded as the best entertainment program in the international Rose d'Or awards.

Participation since 2007: Seventeen countries have participated in the Eurovision Dance Contest in the two years it was held, 2007 and 2008. The competition, organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), consisted of pairs of dancers from each participating country, each pair performing one dance, a freestyle dance in which the cultures of the individual countries could be showcased to the rest of Europe. The event is aimed to trigger a perception change towards PwDs in society and campaign for an inclusive ecosystem, by showcasing their abilities rather than focusing on their disabilities. The event would be filmed by a set of filmmakers with disabilities and those who specialise in adaptive adventure sports and would be showcased at global media platforms and international film festivals.

When Dick was 17, he was asked to apprentice under artist Tony Hunt in Victoria, BC. Eventually returning to Vancouver, he continued to hone his carving techniques under the influence of Doug Cranmer. In 1986, Dick was commissioned to carve a mask to be showcased in Expo 86 in Vancouver. The Canadian Museum of History (formerly the Canadian Museum of Civilization) in Gatineau, Quebec, acquired Dick's mask, and it remains on display there. A new generation of young composers are beginning to emerge in the Malaysian music scene. The inaugural HSBC Young Composers Workshop 2008 held at KLPac on 13 July 2008 was the first of its kind and an unprecedented effort to offer young composers a platform for their works to be showcased and workshopped. The workshop brought together five young composers finalists and over ten other participants in the workshops, all of whom can consider this the official starting point of their composing careers. That year A. H. The Rio de Janeiro bid for the 2007 Pan American Games was a successful campaign, first recognised by the Pan American Sports Organization (PASO) in August 2001. Rio de Janeiro began working on the idea of staging the 2007 Pan American Games during the 1999 Pan American Games held in Winnipeg, Canada. There was a strong desire among sportspersons and officials at that time to work so that the best of national sport could be showcased at home, in a large event using state-of-the-art fields-of-play. Based on this strategic vision, the Brazilian Olympic Committee (BOC) General Assembly decided in December 1999 that Brazil would not bid to host the 2008 Summer Olympics and would instead focus its efforts on the bid for the 2007 Pan American Games.

In 1971 MCYO traveled to Europe, performing in Salzburg, Dubrovnik and Zagreb. In 1977 MCYO performed at the first American Festival of Youth Orchestras. In 1981, the Philharmonic was the first youth orchestra to be showcased at the Kennedy Center.

Doctor and Reverend Charles George Hayes (December 10, 1937 – February 12, 2014), was an American gospel musician and founding pastor of Cosmopolitan Church of Prayer. He enjoyed a career spanning over 50 years as a musician with the Cosmopolitan Church of Prayer Choir that would be showcased on the church's radio programs. He would release over 30 albums with several labels including Savoy Records Word Records, Epic Records, Intersound Records, Meek Records, Utopia Music Group, Icee Records, MCG Records, Cosmo Sounds Music Group, and Grammercy Records. Shadowville Productions was founded in 2004 by producer Slantize. While still attending university, Slantize produced his first few hip hop instrumentals with a Yamaha RM1x in 2003 and listed them on Soundclick to be showcased. After unexpectedly being approached with an offer to buy his first beat for fifty US dollars, Slantize began to produce beats specifically for sale. He met fellow Soundclick beat makers ADP and Hala-X and formed Shadowville Productions and, after being inspired by his first sale as well as a small pool of amateur producers offering to also sell their works, Slantize began to market their beats in a professional manner, including with modern web design, legally enforceable license contracts, and industry-quality sounding works, specifically to be licensed out -- contrary to the flood of noticeably amateur sounding works on Soundclick at the time.

Her works have led to numerous design collaborations with brands such as Kenzo, Miami-based concept store The Webster, Dover Street Market, Diamond Foundry, Fendi; made from precious metals and gemstones, Delettrez's designs consist of figurative surrealism and natural iconography including animals, hands and lips, alongside her new signature eye design. Delettrez has also presented solo exhibitions at the Antonella Villanova Gallery in Miami as well as the Galleria O in Rome, and in March 2012 she showcased her Metalphysic collection at the Louvre's Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, becoming the youngest designer to be showcased at the venerated museum. In 2013 she was chosen to become part of BoF 500 – The people shaping the global fashion industry. In 2016, she was named in Forbes Magazine "30 Under 30" list that celebrates the youngest and brightest entrepreneurs.

Eleven previously selected contestants were showcased to the nation in the first live episode, while the first viewer vote of the series was announced in a surprise twist - three other potential finalists would be showcased to the nation - and the public could vote for whom they wanted to enter the Academy, making up the final line-up of twelve contestants. The contestant who had impressed the judges the most over the previous week would be named the "Grade A student," and would be guaranteed a solo performance at the following live show. The three contestants who the judges felt were performing the worst would be put on probation, and would have to sing for survival live on Friday night on BBC One, in order to fight for their place in the Academy.

Albarn and Aitor Throup, the creative director for the album, began a competition to direct Albarn's new video, in association with Tribeca Interactive. The Music Film Challenge, in collaboration with The Lincoln Motor Company, gives today's storytellers an unprecedented opportunity: to re-imagine storytelling for the digital age by creating interactive music films. To participate, filmmakers will use Treehouse – Interlude's self-service authoring suite – to create an interactive music film for the song with Treehouse's simple and intuitive interface, participants can design their interactive music films in a multi- branch, multi-layered, tree-structured style, which will allow viewers to play an active role in the storytelling process. The finalists' films will be showcased as part of the Tribeca Online Festival and displayed throughout 2014 Tribeca Film Festival official venues and lounges via interactive kiosks, in addition being made available on the Challenge website.

In contrast, in the middle comes a more quiet section with clear features of Swedish national romantic music. The main theme emerges in different polyphonic ways, then the initial toccata returns, now followed by a short canon between the pedal and the manual before the piece ends with a lavish tutti" The symphony is 45 minutes long and has also been played on radio.

While bishop Casanova y Estrada was exiled in Costa Rica, he expressed a very high regard about the Exposición Centroamericana which general José María Reina Barrios, was organizing at the time. In a pastoral message sent from San José, on 29 June 1896 Casanova y Estrada pointed out that the Expo would allow the government to reach to great goals: that Central American get to know among themselves much better and that the area products would be showcased to the rest of the world. After almost 10 years in exile, and coinciding with the 75th Central America Independence anniversary, Casanova y Estrada. Upon learnings about this, president Reina Barrios -who happened to be a high ranked Mason — realized the bishop's patriotism and presented an initiative to the National Assembly on its inaugural session of 1 March 1897 to allow his return to Guatemalan soil.

Times interviewed Smear once again: when asked about the exhibit, Gheorghiu said, "The 'Art in the Streets' exhibit or an exhibit like it had to come about around this time period, it would be a cultural crime if it hadn't". In media coverage about the 'Art in the Streets' exhibit, which is scheduled to show in Brooklyn, New York after its Los Angeles run, Smear has often been named and mentioned, so far as to be mentioned mistakenly as one of the featured artists in the exhibit by an Associated Press article from May 1, 2011. Cristian Gheorghiu was the first artist to ever be showcased at the German government's Goethe Institute in Los Angeles, an exhibit that was on display from February 25, 2012 to March 10, 2012. In autumn of 2012, Gheorghiu had an exhibit at the Azusa Pacific University.

A track from her Simply Jazz album was played by Humphrey Lyttelton on his BBC Radio 2 Best of Jazz show making Chute the youngest performer to ever be showcased on his show. Chute finished her secondary schooling at the Purcell School of Music in Bushey, Hertfordshireon full scholarship, where she studied voice, piano and composition and gained 3 A's at A level examinations. In 2005 she was a joint winner of a Scottish songwriting competition for the music festival Burnsong, with her song, Promises to Keep. All the winning songs were performed professionally and broadcast live on BBC Radio Scotland. After meeting composer Howard Goodall at the Royal Albert Hall's School Proms where she was fronting Loretto School ensemble, she was asked to sing on his television show, How Music Works where she performed the Shaker song “'Tis A Gift To Be Simple” with Anastacia Nosobin on guitar on the first programme of the series.

With initial ideas for The Last Guardian envisioned by Ueda since around 2005 after completing Shadow of the Colossus, the game was in active development since 2007, a year after the release of the PlayStation 3. The working title was Project Trico, revealed to the public due to a leaked video posted at PlayStation Lifestyle in 2008 that showed the current "Target Render" of the game at that time. Ueda had long considered the development time for Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, and had anticipated being able "to create something good in a short period of time" with The Last Guardian at the onset. By 2009, the development team had completed enough of the game for it to be showcased during the E3 2009, using an improved render of the same set pieces previously seen in the Target Render and later provided a short vertical slice of the game to the press for the Game Developers Conference in early March 2011.

Despite initial reports that The Last Broadcast creators—Stefan Avalos and Lance Weiler—had alleged that The Blair Witch Project was a complete rip-off of their work and would sue Haxan Films for copyright infringement, they repudiated these allegations. One of the creators told IndieWire in 1999, "If somebody enjoys The Blair Witch Project there is a chance they will enjoy our film, and we hope they will check it out." Film critic Michael Dodd has argued that the film is an embodiment of horror "modernizing its ability to be all-encompassing in expressing the fears of American society". He noted that "In an age where anyone can film whatever they like, horror needn't be a cinematic expression of what terrifies the cinema-goer, it can simply be the medium through which terrors captured by the average American can be showcased". In 2008, The Blair Witch Project was ranked by Entertainment Weekly as number ninety-nine on their list of 100 Best Films from 1983 to 2008.
