New Bermondsey railway station (formerly Surrey Canal Road railway station) is a planned railway station with permission granted on the South London Line of the London Overground network. It will be on the branch from to (the extension opened in December 2012) with through trains every 15 minutes between Clapham Junction and . The station site is on Surrey Canal Road at the district boundary of Bermondsey, New Cross and Deptford. The station will be adjacent to Millwall Football Club's ground and would help ease the burden of match-day crowds on the nearby South Bermondsey railway station and Surrey Quays Station.

The suit also names Disney as a defendant, contending that Disney executives, following the company's then-pending acquisition of Fox, were "calling the shots" on the project and that they were opposed to the park because they would have "no control" over its operations and that it would be adjacent to a casino, which would go against Disney's "family friendly" image. Fox, in turn, referred to the suit as "without merit", stating that their reasons for withdrawing from the deal were due to Genting consistently not meeting "agreed-upon deadlines for several years" and that Genting's attempts to blame Disney for Fox's default were "made up".

The extension property can be used to build up isomorphic copies of any finite or countably infinite graph G within the Rado graph, as induced subgraphs. To do so, order the vertices of G, and add vertices in the same order to a partial copy of G within the Rado graph. At each step, the next vertex in G will be adjacent to some set U of vertices in G that are earlier in the ordering of the vertices, and non-adjacent to the remaining set V of earlier vertices in G. By the extension property, the Rado graph will also have a vertex x that is adjacent to all the vertices in the partial copy that correspond to members of U, and non-adjacent to all the vertices in the partial copy that correspond to members of V. Adding x to the partial copy of G produces a larger partial copy, with one more vertex., Proposition 6.

Instead of upper bounding the number of vertices in a graph in terms of its maximum degree and its diameter, we can calculate via similar methods a lower bound on the number of vertices in terms of its minimum degree and its girth. Suppose G has minimum degree d and girth 2k+1. Choose arbitrarily a starting vertex v, and as before consider the breadth-first search tree rooted at v. This tree must have one vertex at level 0 (v itself), and at least d vertices at level 1. Locally preferred alternatives have been presented to this plan, including one in which a new station would instead be located on Honeywell Corporation property at Westmoor Street west of Bendix Drive (along existing South Shore Line tracks). In 2017, South Bend's redevelopment commission voted to spend $25 million in tax increment financing funds to build a new station. Beginning in August 2018, then-incumbent South Bend mayor Pete Buttigieg advocated to locate a new South Shore Line station in South Bend's downtown. Such a station would be located near Four Winds Field at Coveleski Stadium and the Union Station Technology Center It could be adjacent to, if not integrated into, the existing South Bend TRANSPO South Street Station. When it was built in 1998, South Street Station had been constructed with its passenger facilities near abutting train tracks with an eye towards a future passenger rail component. Buttigieg expressed hope that a downtown South Shore Line station could be completed by 2025.

In 2016 Mark Niesse of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution wrote that the general public outside of the Atlanta held the assumption that the university was in the city, and the university stated in a press release that year that "Emory already promotes its location as Atlanta, is known internationally as being located in Atlanta, routinely recruits faculty and students to Atlanta, and has an Atlanta address and zip code". In 2016 the university stated that it intended to petition to be annexed into the City of Atlanta; in 2017 the university leadership formally submitted its petition. One factor that the annexation could have is expedite the construction of a MARTA line that serves the university since Atlanta sales taxes would now be collected in the annexed area. To comply with the requirement that an annexed area be adjacent to the existing city limits, the university purchased a residence partially within the then-city limits.

Yet, according to the United States Army Corps of Engineers, this was only a partial solution to the problems of the Everglades and the Tamiami Trail. In 2003, after considering a variety of plans involving the rebuilding of US 41/SR 90, the Corps recommended that a causeway be built near the Northeast Shark Slough northeast of Everglades National Park, all road fill removed that would otherwise be adjacent to the bridge, the 57 culverts that are already in place maintained, and the appropriate water flow rate maintained under the non- causeway portions of the Tamiami Trail crossing the Everglades. The proposed causeway is being called the Everglades Skyway by the Sierra Club, Audubon Society, World Wildlife Fund, and other organizations in an Internet-based effort to lobby Florida and United States government officials for project construction money. In December 2009, construction began on a project to lift a portion of the road to allow the more natural water flow into the southern Everglades.

The graph structure theorem for minor-closed graph families states that, for any such family F, the graphs in F can be decomposed into clique-sums of graphs that can be embedded onto surfaces of bounded genus, together with a bounded number of apexes and vortices for each component of the clique-sum. An apex is a vertex that may be adjacent to any other vertex in its component, while a vortex is a graph of bounded pathwidth that is glued into one of the faces of the bounded-genus embedding of a component. The cyclic ordering of the vertices around the face into which a vortex is embedded must be compatible with the path decomposition of the vortex, in the sense that breaking the cycle to form a linear ordering must lead to an ordering with bounded vertex separation number. This theory, in which pathwidth is intimately connected to arbitrary minor-closed graph families, has important algorithmic applications..

Suppose the writer wishes to use some English text (a left-to-right script) into a paragraph written in Arabic or Hebrew (a right-to-left script) with non-alphabetic characters to the right of the English text. In the first example, without an LRM control character, a web browser will render the ++ on the left of the "C" because the browser recognizes that the paragraph is in a right-to-left text (Arabic) and applies punctuation, which is neutral as to its direction, according to the direction of the adjacent text. In Broad Channel two stops were relocated: the northbound stop at Cross Bay Boulevard and East 9th Road was moved north to Noel Road to be symmetrical with the southbound stop, and the southbound stop at West 15th Road was moved south to West 17th Road to be symmetrical with the northbound stop, and to be adjacent to a crosswalk. Stops on Woodhaven Boulevard were modified as well: the stop at Atlantic Avenue was moved north to 91st Avenue, allowing Q52 and Q53 service to travel on the overpass over Atlantic Avenue using the bus lane, as opposed to using the slow service road. North of 84°N, UPS North is used, and the west half-circle is Y, the east one is Z; see figure 4. Since the letters A, B, Y, and Z are not used for any latitude bands of UTM, their presence in an MGRS coordinate, with the omission of a zone number, indicates that the coordinates are in the UPS system. The lettering scheme for 100,000 m squares is slightly different in the polar regions. The column letters use a more restricted alphabet, going from A to Z but omitting D, E, I, M, N, O, V, W; the columns are arranged so that the rightmost column in grid zone A and Y has column letter Z, and the next column in grid zone B or Z starts over with column letter A. The row letters go from A to Z, omitting I and O. The restricted column alphabet for UPS ensures that no UPS square will be adjacent to a UTM square with the same identification.
