The Atlanta Braves estimated that a typical AYCE patron in 2007 consumed 3.35 hot dogs, 20 ounces of soda, 7.9 ounces of peanuts; 3 ounces of nachos; and 32 ounces of popcorn. AYCE seats have been described as a way to indulge in junk food "with baseball as a nominal backdrop", an opportunity to eat a cheap dinner with a baseball game thrown in, and a way to feed a family on a budget.

The Arizona Diamondbacks boosted ticket sales by 70% when it created a left-field AYCE section in 2009, while the Houston Astros averaged 95% capacity in its AYCE section.

Ayce Cordy (born 6 August 1990) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played with the Western Bulldogs in the Australian Football League (AFL). The Bulldogs used their first round selection, 14th overall, to secure Cordy after bid their first round selection (pick 13) for him. Cordy's father, Brian, played 124 games for the Bulldogs in the 1980s. Playing 27 games for the Western Bulldogs, Cordy was delisted at the end of the 2015 season Cordy achieved an ENTER of 99.9, and studied medicine and Latin.

In February 2019, Wicked Girl received the César Award for Best Animated Short Film. In May 2019, their live action short production She Runs received the "Leitz Cine Discovery Prize for Short Film" at Cannes' International Critics' Week. In September 2019, France Télévisions awarded them the "Jeune Producteur" 30,000€-price.
