The school offers a broad educational curriculum encompassing academic subjecta, vocational training, sports, and various extramural clubs and societies. In its early years, the school provided vocational training in subjects such as auto mechanics, cosmetology, home economics and plumbing. Today, after undergoing several government driven changes, Lacovia High School operates as a traditional high school, focusing on all subject areas of secondary education, while still offering training in vocational subjects.

The school had a magnet program and offered IB courses in addition to classes in vocational courses such as: horticulture, hotel- restaurant management, ophthalmic assistant training, graphic arts and auto mechanics through the Education To Careers (ETC) program. Many of North Meck's first expansions occurred in 1957, with the addition of the H-hall to meet the needs of the growing student population. Originally the William E. Beltz School, the school was founded as a boarding high school just outside of Nome, Alaska, for children from the villages of Northwest Alaska. Vocation-oriented classes include dressmaking, tailoring, library science, cabinetmaking, carpentry, shorthand, typing, metalworking, and auto mechanics.

OTSS educates for the world of work, providing life and vocational skills in an adaptive and diverse environment to encourage responsible citizenship. The school offers a wide array of programs from the culinary arts to welding to auto-mechanics. It is the only school in Ontario to offer courses in several of the areas. Students can receive a high school diploma, but most do not, instead staying only long enough to obtain a certificate in a certain trade.

Julien Bentley Royer (born 1955) is a Dominican politician in the Dominica Labour Party and a former schoolteacher. He served briefly as a senator in the Dominica House of Assembly in 2010, and has twice been an unsuccessful candidate for an elected seat. Royer was born in Salisbury, Dominica. He graduated from the Dominica Teacher's Training College and also studied in Jamaica.. Wakulla High School has many vocational training programs incorporated into the normal school day. Many of these programs lead to industry certification. Currently, WHS offers programs in the areas of auto mechanics, digital design, web development, carpentry, culinary arts, television production, welding, the nursing assisting program which is the major focus of the Wakulla High School's Medical Academy and the Engineering Academy. These programs articulate into college or technical education programs at the post-secondary level, if the student chooses to pursue this field.

The history of engineering education in Nepal can be traced to 1930, when a Technical Training School was established. In 1963, an addition on the west end the senior high school was built as part of a $2 million bond. The addition was opened in time for the 1963-64 school year and contained new rooms for science, vocal music, and art, as well as new gymnasiums for physical education, wrestling, and gymnastics, an auto mechanics shop, a wood shop, a new library, and a cafeteria with seating for 300. In the 1970s, a need was recognized to expand, replace, and modernize many of the city's schools.

In addition to his responsibilities at the health department, he has served as Chairman of the Cache Valley Air Quality Task Force, Medical Director of IHC Hospice, Cache Valley Region, and emergency department physician at Logan Regional Hospital. Gillingham Charter School is public charter school located in Pottsville, within 5 miles of Minersville.

The school was temporarily closed during World War II. Four shop buildings were constructed under Mr. Enrile's administration. Classes resumed after the war in 1945. In 1954, by virtue of Republic Act No. 846, the Zamboanga City Trade School was converted into regional school of arts and trades known as the Zamboanga City Regional School of Arts and Trades, with Mr. Marcelo S. Bonilla as its first superintendent. RA 846 authorized the school to offer post-secondary courses in Trade Technical Education. This was the roaring seventies and countercultural idealism was in full swing. The first 1978 Nambassa festival had been successful and some of the profits from this event were drafted into their Winter Show. To make this event a reality, the Nambassa core group, who were based in the country villages of Waihi and Waikino at the foot of the ecologically sensitive Coromandel Peninsula, temporarily moved to the city and hired the St John youth camp west of Auckland, from where this production was implemented. From south of Fairview Avenue and from north of Obama Boulevard (formerly Rodeo Road) La Cienega Boulevard is a regular surface street and one of Hollywood's major thoroughfares. Offices for A&E; Network, The History Channel and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences are located on La Cienega as are the studios of Citadel Broadcasting flagships KABC and KLOS, two of Los Angeles' biggest radio stations. A portion of La Cienega in and adjacent to Beverly Hills is known as "Restaurant Row" for its large number of upscale restaurants. South of Olympic, La Cienega runs through the Pico-Robertson and Crestview neighborhoods in West Los Angeles into Culver City and is known for its large number of automotive-related business including several used car dealerships and many body shops and auto mechanics.

The Campus The North Side High School campus consists of six principal structures. They are the three-story main building (completed in 1938), the field house complex and the Tech Lab/Auto Mechanics building (added in the late 1950s), the one-story "middle wing," the Pete Campbell Activity Center/Gymnasium (opened in 1987) and the new two-story building (completed in the Spring of 2002). In addition to the permanent structures there are several "temporary" portable buildings, the numbers and locations of which change from time to time based on the growth of the community and needs of the student body. Also on this campus are a football/soccer field that was part of the original 1937 construction project, a baseball field (built in 1996) and a softball diamond completed in 2001.

The overwhelming majority of Hadaf graduates continued their higher education either in leading Persian universities or in American and European institutions of higher education. Hadaf high schools were equipped with libraries and labs for physics, chemistry, and biology as well as workshops for photography, painting, calligraphy, carpentry, mechanics, auto mechanics, and ironsmith works. The first Hadaf high school also hosted a natural science museum. The success of the Hadaf Group encouraged the formation of two other educational complexes in the 1950s, Goruh-e Farhangi-e Kharazmi and Goruh-e Farhangi-e Azar. In 1959, the Hadaf Group initiated the formation of the Association of Private Prep Schools (Anjoman-e melli-e madares-e hamahang) consisting of the above educational complexes along with 12 private schools aimed at promoting their common goals.

In 2003-2004, new additions to the high school building provided room for the five remaining vocational/technical classes that were previously housed at North Hall. Culinary Arts, Cosmetology, Building Construction, Auto Body, and Auto Mechanics are now all a part of the comprehensive high school that offers its entire academic and vocational/technical curriculum under one roof. Highlights of the high school project included a modern Tiger Inn restaurant for the culinary arts program, new cosmetology labs, an expanded graphic occupations department, modern office areas for the vocational/technical program, and an expanded physical fitness area, along with, much needed, additional classroom space. Upgrades were also made to the Weigle-Schaeffer Tiger Stadium that features a new artificial grass field, and an updated all weather track that includes specialized areas to conduct field events.

The graduate courses that have been offered since are Master of Arts in English, Master of Arts in Teaching Sociology, Master of Arts in Teaching English, Master of Laws, and Master of Science in Social Work. The above expansions caused the Mabini Campus to extend itself to V. Gullas (formerly Manalili) and P. Burgos streets where the Sanson and the Doña Beatriz Hall which house the Elementary Department, the Gonzales Hall which houses the college of engineering, and the Home Economics Building are. The Engineering Laboratory was at Colon Street and served as a training center for other short-term vocational courses like refrigeration, welding and auto mechanics. In 1959, the stockholders agreed to dissolve the original stock corporation and converted USP into a non-stock, non-profit foundation.

Also highlighted in the report was the need for more vocational education to counteract the human cost of performance pressure and the high unemployment rate among the country's university-educated youth. The South Korean government, schools, and industry with assistance from the Swiss government and industry are now redesigning and modernizing the country's once strong vocational education sector with a network of vocational schools called "Meister Schools". The purpose of the Meister schools is to reduce the country's shortage of vocational occupations such as auto mechanics, plumbers, welders, boilermakers, electricians, carpenters, millwrights, machinists and machine operators as many of these positions go unfilled. Meister schools have been developed to revamp South Korea's vocational education system to be specifically designed to prepare youths to work in high-skilled trades and high-skilled manufacturing jobs and other fields.

Three campuses encompass the ACTC system, the primary campus located on College Drive near downtown Ashland near 13th Street and is where business, education, health-related, information technology and transfer programs are offered. The Roberts Drive campus, located at the southern edge of Ashland, offers several industrial technology degrees, such as Air Conditioning, Applied Process Technologies, Auto Mechanics, Computer Aided Drafting and Fire and Rescue Technology, and courses in Cosmetology and Culinary Arts. The Roberts Drive campus will ultimately be replaced with the Technology Drive campus, located off of KY 67 (Industrial Parkway) at the EastPark industrial park, which offers numerous industrial technology degrees that often reflect the job stock in the Ashland region that include programs in industrial maintenance, machine tool technology, electrical technology and welding. In addition to technical programs offered at the Technology Drive Campus, it also serves as the home for the college's Business and Industry Services.

Ever since, Breitenbach has been a residential community for people in the most varied of occupations, most of whom must commute to work elsewhere. In Breitenbach itself are quite a few businesses and shops, ensuring that basic supplies are available to the villagers on the spot.Economic structure Breitenbach has a supermarket, a druggist's (Drogeriemarkt), a pharmacy (Apotheke), several hairdresser's shops, two bank branches, a butcher’s shop, several restaurants/taverns, a carpentry shop, an eyeglass shop, an automotive spare parts dealership, several auto mechanics and one physiotherapist with a fitness studio. Since 2008, a work group has been undertaking to make Breitenbach more attractive, both in the sense of beautification and in the sense of a broader range of offerings. In 2009 and 2010, the Europäischer Bauernmarkt (“European Farmer’s Market”) was held in Breitenbach, drawing roughly 50,000 visitors each time, making it the biggest event held in the village to this day.

The project began in 1995 as an attempt by Milbrodt to "turn a car into music that can be expressed in written form and, therefore, performed and interpreted by more than one musician or group of musicians." More specifically, Milbrodt wanted playable musical instruments created from his own car, and wanted them to represent the four instrument families of the traditional orchestra: winds, brass, percussion, and strings. To accomplish his goal, he hired professional auto mechanics to disassemble his car, and commissioned metal sculptor Ray Faunce III to create a series of playable musical instruments from the car's parts. Faunce worked with a team that included musicians, an engineer, a physicist, a glass cutter, and others to create a series of instruments, which were given names like Convertibles and Tube Flutes (winds), Strutbone and Exhaustaphone (brass), Percarsion (percussion, of course), and Tank Bass and Air Guitar (strings).

During each strike, the EA strongly and publicly supported the dealerships and continued to act as their primary spokesperson. Sign, 2012 Shawnee Mission Rural High School opened September 12, 1922, having cost $950,000 to build. It had 12 faculty members and a senior class of 1,200. There had been a vote on September 21, 1921, on a "proposal to organize a rural high school district." In 1922 the east building was completed and in 1936 the west building, housing a gym and auditorium, was connected to the east building. In 1941 the shop wing was constructed to house agriculture and auto mechanics; it was connected to the west building by a concrete walk. The school remained Shawnee Mission Rural until 1948, when senior Robert F. Bennett was sent to Topeka to petition the legislature for a name change to more accurately reflect the school's suburban status. In 1950 a large addition was made, including the south academic wing, the cross hall/offices, library, Field House and music rooms. After 30 years all the buildings were connected by hallways.

In 2011, under the leadership of Dr. Wesley Knapp, Superintendent, Midd-West High School has placed on the state's Lowest Achieving Schools List. In 2013, the Pittsburgh Business Times ranked Midd-West School District 313th out of 496 public schools for academic achievement of its pupils. In 2012, Midd-West School District achieved Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) despite the low academic achievement at the high school. High school aged students can attend the taxpayer funded SUN Area Technical Institute, located in New Berlin, Union County for training in: the building trades, auto mechanics, the culinary arts, allied health careers and other areas. SUN Area Technical Institute is funded by a consortium of the school districts, which includes: Midd-West School District, Lewisburg Area School District, Shikellamy School District, Mifflinburg Area School District and Selinsgrove Area School District.

The initial curriculum offered basic high school/college prep academic courses in English, literature, music, social science, health, general science, biology, algebra, geometry, chemistry, and physical education, as well as numerous vocational courses to supplement the work at the Milam Street Trade School. New vocational courses included commercial baking, laundry and dry cleaning processes, typing, shorthand and bookkeeping, auto mechanics (including machine body and fender repair), masonry and cement work, graphic arts, carpentry, electrical name mechanics, sheet metal working, pottery and clay, landscape gardening and hot-house horticulture, leather- craft, home laundry, cooking, sewing, needle-craft, shoe-craft, and beauty culture (later cosmetology). In the fall of 2011, Booker T. Washington added seventh and eighth grades to its original 9–12 configuration. Seventh and eighth grades are no longer part of the configuration as of 2017, when Fair Park High School became a middle school, merging its 9-12 population with Booker T. Washington.

The campus was expanded to include a fine arts building, a physical education complex, and a student center. The math-science and technical-vocational buildings were improved. In 1984 a third addition to the technical-vocational building was constructed. In 1991, two industrial education buildings were completed to house auto mechanics and diesel technology programs. In 1999, a new public service careers building opened to provide classrooms and labs for EMS, fire and police academies as well as housing the college's pharmacy technician program. In 2003, the college opened the COM Learning Center-North County in League City, Texas, part of COM's extended service area. The center is a leased facility that offers college credit and continuing education classes as well as dental assistant, medical assistant and other health care programs. In 2004, the college became one of only three in the state of Texas to offer a Collegiate High School program on its campus allowing high school students to complete their last two years on a college campus while earning an associate degree.

Danville Area School District is the local public education agency. The District provides: Prekindergarten to 4 year olds (Head Start), full day Kindergarten, and all 12 subsequent grades. In 2014, Danville Area School District's enrollment declined to 2,261 students. Danville Area School District ranked 67th out of the 494 ranked Pennsylvania School Districts in 2017, by the Pittsburgh Business Times. High school aged students can attend the taxpayer funded Columbia-Montour Area Vocational-Technical School, located in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, for training in the building trades, auto mechanics, culinary arts, allied health careers and other areas.

Carbondale Area School District's graduation rate in 2016 declined to 87%. In 2014 and 2015 it had been 89%.PDE, Graduation rate by LEA, 2015 High school aged students can attend the taxpayer funded Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County, for training in the building trades, auto mechanics, culinary arts, allied health careers and other areas. Fell Township residents may also apply to attend any of the Commonwealth's 13 public cyber charter schools (in 2015) at no additional cost to the parents.
