Barbara Daly (born 1939) is an American author of romance novels. She won the Romance Writers of America's RITA Award in 2002 for Best Short Contemporary Romance for her novel A Long Hot Christmas. She has also been twice nominated by Romantic Times for Reviewers' Choice Awards, for A Long Hot Christmas and Too Hot to Handle. Romantic Times described her Harlequin Duets novel Are You For Real as "fast-paced, fresh and funny".

Records release # 25175-1 In 1990, a cover version of "Are You For Real" was recorded by the popular freestyle dance group TKA and released by Tommy Boy Records on their Louder Than Love album. Camille added a special guest vocal to this version as well, and the group performed the song live on NBC-TV's Showtime at the Apollo television show.

"Are You For Real" is a hit song recorded by the Grammy Award-winning artist and producer Deodato for his 1984 album Motion and released by Warner Bros. Records. The song, which featured vocals by Camille and was written by Rick Suchow, reached the Billboard Top 20 Dance Chart and stayed on for 12 weeks in 1985. The album was re-issued in 2006 by Wounded Bird Records. Personnel on the Deodato track includes Eumir Deodato and Alan Palanker (keyboards and programming), Rick Suchow (bass and programming), Jerry Barnes (guitar) and Nelson Rangell (alto sax) while Camille handled all lead and background vocals.

Camille also picked up numerous album credits as background or featured vocalist for many top Freestyle music artists, including The Cover Girls, TKA, Concept of One, Tony Moran, Latin Rascals, Angel Civiles and others. The TKA session was a cover of Deodato's "Are You For Real" for their album Louder Than Love (credited on the album as TKA featuring Camille). In the process she met TKA member Louis Sharpe, who used the stage name Kayel with TKA and later K7 as a solo artist. This led to Camille singing on K7's hip-hop hit "Come Baby Come" in 1993 (credited as Camille Shea, her married name).

Since the owners of (?) Question Mark and the Mysterians' original recordings refused to release CD reissues of the band's two albums, the group would reunite to record new versions of their past songs. Included in the album are the group's more important tracks such as "96 Tears", "Can't Get Enough of You Baby", and "Girl (You Captivate Me)". Most of the rereleased songs can also be found on the band's two albums, 96 Tears and Action. Of special note are the two previously unreleased tracks recorded for a single prior to the sessions for "96 Tears", "Are You For Real?" and "I'll Be Back".
