Kanailal Dutta () (31 August 1888 – 10 November 1908) was a revolutionary in India's freedom struggle belonging to the Jugantar group. He was born in Chandannagar, West Bengal. He, along with Satyendranath Bose, was convicted by the British for assassination of Narendranath Goswami, an approver of the British, in the Jail hospital of Alipore Central Jail on 31 August 1908. Satyendranath Bose was hanged till death on 21 November 1908.

Tilokpur is a village in the Shahjahanpur district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The village is situated near the Sharda Canal that passes through Katra, Kant and Kurriya Kalan. The village is medium-sized, with around 167 dwellings and a population of about 1,036 people. Banwari Lal, by caste a Kayastha, an Indian revolutionary and an approver in the historical Kakori conspiracy train robbery case of 1925, hailed from this village.

At a minimum a package has a name, an execution window defined the time range for when the package can be executed, notes about the package, various flags and at least one value SCL statement. Banwari Lal () was a participant in the Kakori train robbery, carried out in August 1925 during the protests against British rule in India, who lived in Shahjahanpur, in the present-day state of Uttar Pradesh, India. A member of the Hindustan Republican Association (later known as the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association), Banwari Lal was arrested at Raibareli and sent to Lucknow jail. Shaheed Baikuntha Shukla was another nationalist from Bihar, who was hanged for murdering a government approver named Phanindrananth Ghosh. This led to the hanging of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru.

PK, who inadvertently inhales the gas before going to Kottai Veeran's wife's funeral, begins to laugh uncontrollably, even during the funeral, causing Kottai Veeran to turn against him and accept Bairavaa's offer of becoming approver. With one of the co-conspirators Qari Saifullah turning an "approver" (government witness), the military court determined that Abbasi was not the main plotter in the attempted coup and was therefore given a lighter sentence of only 7 years as compared to the other army officers like Brigadier Mustansir BiLLAH who were convicted for terms up to 14 years. The coup was not considered serious enough to grant a death sentence to any of the plotters. Qari Saifullah was not convicted as a part of the deal with the government for his becoming a witness.

Daly (a former Whiteboy), saw that 22 men were arrested and charged They were brought before the Special Commission with a Grand Jury presided over by Baron Pennefather in October 1829 on On Friday 23 October. The trial commenced on Friday, October 23, when four prisoners were put the bar: John Leary (Rossagh), James Roche (Wallstown), James McGrath (Wallstown), and William Shine (Carker). Five informer or approver witnesses gave evidence for the prosecution, including Patrick Daly (the spy), and Owen (Clampar) Daly, cousin of Patrick. The four were found guilty by the jury, and sentenced to death by hanging.

Morgan Llwyd was born to a cultured and influential family in the parish of Maentwrog, Gwynedd. His grandfather, Huw Llwyd, was a professional soldier and noted Welsh language poet, and also had a reputation as an astrologer and magician. Morgan Llwyd was educated in Wrexham, where he experienced a religious awakening under the Puritan preacher, Walter Cradock, whom he followed to Llanfaches to be part of a Puritan church. During the English Civil War, he served as a chaplain in Oliver Cromwell's army, and in 1644 he returned to Wales, first as a preacher, and in 1650 as an Approver under the Act for the Propagation of the Gospel in Wales.

He attempted to assassinate Tardival, Mayor of Chandernagore, handed over a revolver to Kanailal Dutta in Alipore Central Jail to kill the approver Naren Gnoswami and also attached with Rodda company arms heist. As per instruction of Ras Bihari Bose he made liaison among the revolutionaries of various state. Ghosh roamed all over the India to reorganise the freedom movement under the leadership of Bose and returned safely to Chandannagar, French territoriy, where the British police could not track him down. Ghosh made arrangements of safe house of Aurobindo Ghosh in 1910, and number of other revolutionaries with the help of Motilal Roy, another senior freedom fighter of the Chandannagar group.

The prisoners were tried in the famous Alipore bomb conspiracy case in which several activists were deported for life to the Cellular Jail in Andaman. In 1908, as a next step, Jugantar chose to censure persons connected with the arrest and trial of revolutionaries involved in the Alipore Bomb Case. On 10 February 1909, Ashutosh Biswas, who conducted the prosecution of Kanai and Satyen for the murder of Naren Gosain (a revolutionary turned approver), was shot dead by Charu Basu in the Calcutta High Court premises. Samsul Alam, Deputy Superintendent of Police, who conducted the Alipore Case was shot and killed by Biren Dutta Gupta on the stairs of Calcutta High Court building on 24 January 1910.

Hans Raj Vohra (1909 - 13 September 1985) was an Indian independence revolutionary who became an approver, providing testimony for the British that identified his associates in return for his own freedom. In May 1929, his statement against his comrades Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar and Shivaram Rajguru, in the Lahore Conspiracy Case trial, became "crucial" in leading to passing of their death sentence as a result of which Singh, Thapar and Rajguru became heroes of the Indian independence movement. After the trial, Vohra pursued a career in journalism, first in London, and then subsequently in Lahore and later in Washington. Before he died, he addressed a letter to Sukhdev's brother, explaining why he testified against his comrades.

Posing as an income tax officer, Bairavaa conducts a raid at PK's mansion, taking away all the evidence which holds PK responsible for Vaishali's death. After the Kakori train robbery, the house of Khanna was searched by Police Sub Inspector Fasahat Husain.Swatantrata Andolan Mein Shahjahanpur Ka Yogdan Page 132 A licensed Mauser Pistol and a few cartridges were found in this search, and they were seized by the police, along with his arms licence. The approver Banarasi Lal gave the clue to C.I.D. Inspector Mr Horten who enquired after the sales registers of M/s Vishwas and Co, an arms dealer of Cownpore and found that a total of 150 cartridges were purchased between 14 February 1924 to 5 January 1925 on his licence. In one entry, dated 7 August 1924, the forged signatures of P.K. Khanna were signed by R.P. Bismil, which was proven by forensic examination of the handwriting.

Hans Raj (born ) was an Indian youth, in Amritsar, British India, who in June 1919 became an approver for the British government when he gave evidence for the Crown at the Amritsar Conspiracy Case Trial in which he identified his fellow Indian revolutionaries, buying his own freedom in return. In early 1919, Hans Raj became active in the non-violent disobedience or Satyagraha movement and began to participate in protests against British rule in India. He was appointed the joint secretary of the Satyagraha organisation in Amritsar and worked to help local Indian leaders Saifuddin Kitchlew and Satyapal, whose arrests and deportation on 10 April 1919 triggered riots. He subsequently arranged a meeting at Jallianwalla Bagh on 13 April 1919, and was present during the Jallianwalla Bagh Massacre.
