In mathematics, the annihilator method is a procedure used to find a particular solution to certain types of non-homogeneous ordinary differential equations (ODE's). It is similar to the method of undetermined coefficients, but instead of guessing the particular solution in the method of undetermined coefficients, the particular solution is determined systematically in this technique. The phrase undetermined coefficients can also be used to refer to the step in the annihilator method in which the coefficients are calculated. The annihilator method is used as follows.

In mathematics, specifically module theory, the annihilator of a module, or a subset of a module, is a concept generalizing torsion and orthogonality. In short, for commutative rings, the annihilator of a module M over a ring R is the set of elements in R that always act as multiplication by 0 on M. The prototypical example for an annihilator over a commutative ring can be understood by taking the quotient ring R/I and considering it as a R-module. Then, the annihilator of R/I is the ideal I since all of the i \in I act via the zero map on R/I. This shows how the ideal I can be thought of as the set of torsion elements in the base ring R for the module R/I.

In mathematics, the method of undetermined coefficients is an approach to finding a particular solution to certain nonhomogeneous ordinary differential equations and recurrence relations. It is closely related to the annihilator method, but instead of using a particular kind of differential operator (the annihilator) in order to find the best possible form of the particular solution, a "guess" is made as to the appropriate form, which is then tested by differentiating the resulting equation. For complex equations, the annihilator method or variation of parameters is less time-consuming to perform. Undetermined coefficients is not as general a method as variation of parameters, since it only works for differential equations that follow certain forms.

Every simple ring R with unity is both left and right primitive. (However, a simple non-unital ring may not be primitive.) This follows from the fact that R has a maximal left ideal M, and the fact that the quotient module R/M is a simple left R-module, and that its annihilator is a proper two-sided ideal in R. Since R is a simple ring, this annihilator is {0} and therefore R/M is a faithful left R-module. Weyl algebras over fields with characteristic zero are primitive, and since they are domains, they are examples without minimal one- sided ideals.
Some of the tracks had been previously available on compilations or as bonus tracks, but others had been shelved for years (the earliest recording was from the Under the Influence sessions) or were recorded immediately prior to the album's release. Although the album's insert lists five members, Annihilator was a three-piece (Randy Rampage, Jeff Waters and Ray Hartmann) at the time of its recording in 1988. In addition to guitar, Waters provides bass and backing vocals on the album, produced it and wrote all the songs, with the exception of "Crystal Ann". Although Anthony Brian Greenham and Wayne Darley are noted on the album's insert as playing guitar and bass respectively, this was a mistake and they did not join Annihilator until after Alice in Hell was finished; Darley does, however, provide backing vocals on the album. Waters has explained in interviews the reason Greenham and Darley were listed in the credits was at the behest of Roadrunner.

Pickard and Kitcher wrote and created homemade recordings together using a form of recording software on Pickard's computer. They wrote, recorded and edited the instrumental tracks for their debut album, The Palpable Leprosy of Pollution.

We have Fitt0(M) ⊆ Ann(M) (the annihilator of M), and Ann(M)Fitti(M) ⊆ Fitti−1(M), so in particular if M can be generated by n elements then Ann(M)n ⊆ Fitt0(M).

Annihilator mainman Jeff Waters was able to get the rights back to most of Exciters' catalogue titles from the old labels and get them a new deal to re-release these titles. Florence and James MaybrickJames Maybrick (24 October 1838 – 11 May 1889) was a Liverpool cotton merchant. Following Kellestine into the Loners was another Annihilator, Giovanni Muscedere. For Kellestine and Muscedere, joining the Loners was a step up in the outlaw biker world, while the Loners – a disproportionate number of whom were Italian- Canadians from middle-class families – could barely hide their disdain for the Annihilators, whom they viewed as rustic bumpkins from south-western Ontario. The Loners had accepted the Annihilators because of the need to increase their numbers in face of the challenge from the Hells Angels.

Hearing Allen's vocals in person convinced Kitcher that he was a good fit for the band. Infant Annihilator announced via social media on 1 June 2016 that they had brought on Dickie Allen as their new vocalist.

This comeback album also dropped the 1980s-style synthesisers for all songs except "A Touch of Evil". The tour used bands such as Annihilator, Megadeth, Pantera, Sepultura and Testament as opening bands, and culminated in the Rock in Rio performance in Brazil in front of 100,000+ fans.

And he was willing to destroy 10 miles of Port Reevus with an Annihilator Stone, just to destroy her. It was also revealed that he had an Ethos parasite living inside his body, the source of his radical behavior. K'tahsh uses her powers to awaken the creature inside and he becomes possessed by its presence. Before him and K'tahsh escape with the piece of the Celesial Abyss, Erik used Von's Ethos Trapper weapon against him and extracted the Ethos from his body, freeing him from possession.

When Oliver tells Ambrose about Kaz's dream of the Arcturion, Ambrose takes Oliver's suggestion to give Oliver the alias of Quimby Fletcher. He later helps Oliver into locating Kaz after he was abducted by Mr. Terror's minions.

Well-known architect Nicholas J. Clayton of Galveston was commissioned to design the college's Main Building, four stories tall and constructed with local white limestone in the Gothic Revival, that was finished in 1888. Of note during this period were serial murders committed in 1884 and 1885 by an unidentified perpetrator known as the "Servant Girl Annihilator". According to some sources there were eight murders, seven women and one man, attributed to the serial killer, in addition to eight serious injuries. When Phoron plays or sings a Divine Song, she transforms into a full-figured woman with enormous power. In the origins episode, she had also been imprisoned in the academy's basement until Phoron as a student inadvertently releases her with a Divine Song.
The search for a new guitarist was a drawn out process; Mustaine examined a number of guitarists for the job, including Dimebag Darrell of Pantera and Jeff Waters of Annihilator, and the former was initially offered the job before declining. Mustaine had asked original Megadeth guitarist Chris Poland to rejoin the band, with Poland tracking lead guitar parts on a few demos. According to Poland he was "99 percent going to join" the band but was talked out of it by his manager."Former Megadeth Guitarist Chris Poland Is Working On 'Liar' Memoir". Blabbermouth.com.
Norman Westberg is a guitarist from Detroit best known for his work with Swans. Present through almost the entirety of the band's existence, Westberg was brought on for Swans' debut album Filth (1983) and appeared on every album through 1991's White Light from the Mouth of Infinity (he also played on the 1995 album The Great Annihilator). Westberg became a full-time Swans member once again when Michael Gira reactivated the group in 2010. From a strict journalistic point of view, the tragedy came totally unwelcome for Fisk, as it postponed indefinitely his coverage of the Sabra and Chatila massacres out of the pages of The Independent. Fisk inserts the skipped report in the first part of Chapter 21. 22\. The Die Is Cast examines the diplomatic and mass media moves which led to Operation Iraqi Freedom. 23\. Atomic Dog, Annihilator, Arsonist, Anthrax, Anguish and Agamemnon describes in great detail the turbulences which have accompanied the takeover of Iraq and its capital, Baghdad. 24\.
Since its inception, Annihilator has released seventeen studio albums and has undergone many line-up changes. Waters is the only remaining original member left in the band, and usually assembles touring or session musicians to perform with him. Annihilator's first two studio albums—Alice in Hell (1989) and Never, Neverland (1990)—are considered to be influential Canadian heavy metal records. Many of their later albums—including their third, and only major-label, album Set the World on Fire (1993)—also received high praise from critics, and enjoyed some success in Europe and Japan.
The passages quoted above show the few points of contact between Stirner's philosophy and early Christianity. It is merely Jesus as an "annihilator" of the established biases and preconceptions of Rome that Stirner can relate to. His reason for "citing" the cultural change sparked by Jesus is that he wants the Christian ideologies of 19th century Europe to collapse, much as the ideology of heathen Rome did before it (e.g. "[the Christian era] will end with the casting off of the ideal, with 'contempt for the spirit'", p. 320).
Randy left shortly afterwards to play bass for Iron Gypsy, one of the new buzz bands on the scene, with vocalist/guitarist James Mark (AKA "Wickley"), and Death Sentence drummer Doug "Donut" Prouxl, while Brad continued on with Ground Zero. Randy later went on to sing briefly for Annihilator, while Brad joined Death Sentence after their first EP came out, but did not appear on it. During the late 1990s, Brad Kent reformed Victorian Pork in Vancouver for a brief time. He died from complications of pneumonia on February 3, 2016.

In 1894, the City of Austin purchased 31 used towers from Detroit. They were manufactured in Indiana by Fort Wayne Electric Company and assembled onsite.Texas Historical Commission Atlas Some have claimed that Austin put up moonlight towers partially in response to the actions of the Servant Girl Annihilator, but in fact the towers were not erected until 1894 and 1895, ten years after the murders took place. When first erected, the towers were connected to electric generators at the Austin Dam, completed in 1893 on the site of present-day Tom Miller Dam.
Rings of Saturn went into recording their 3rd studio album in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, having Aaron Kitcher of Infant Annihilator and Black Tongue to fill in all drums arrangements as a special guest on the album. Aaron Stechauner later joined as a full-time member for drums after the album was finished. On July 1, 2014, the band released the cover art and track list to their new album Lugal Ki En which was released on October 14, 2014. They also released their first music video for "Senseless Massacre" directed by Alex T Reinhard.
A year later, in late 2014, while he was playing for fellow UK band Desolated during their first US tour, drummer Aaron Kitcher met vocalist Dickie Allen in person for the first time. The tour line-up included the band Traitors, who had brought Allen, a close friend, along with them on the tour. Hearing Allen's vocals in person convinced Kitcher that he was a good fit for the band, prompting them to bring him on as their new vocalist. With a new vocalist, Infant Annihilator resumed working on the album, teasing on social media that they were still active.
During its existence, the band toured or played selected shows with such bands as Slayer, Exodus, Testament, Annihilator, Pantera, Nuclear Assault, Armored Saint, Gang Green, Voivod, Vio-lence and Dark Angel, among others. Around 1992, Wrathchild America was dropped from Atlantic Records and changed their name to Souls at Zero and revamped their stylistic approach. According to a posting on Tartarean Desire, former Toxik drummer Tad Leger has launched a brand new project called Lucertola (Italian for "lizard"). The group's musical style is said to be a blend of Leger's biggest influences: doom, old Voivod and Italian horror soundtracks (Goblin, Fabio Frizzi).
After releasing instrumental songs online, the pair met American vocalist Dan Watson from Indiana online, who discovered Infant Annihilator on Facebook. Pickard and Kitcher were impressed with his performance, and asked of him to perform vocals for the album. They soon began garnering viral popularity online—growing to around 20,000 "likes" within a month—with the release of the music video for their song "Decapitation Fornication". Following the release of the video, the group promoted the release for their debut album The Palpable Leprosy of Pollution, which was released on 12 December 2012 (12/12/12).

Morbo the Annihilator (voiced by Maurice LaMarche) is the misanthropic alien anchor for News, Entertainment and Earth Invasion Tonight, Good Morning Earth, and other shows on the Television Network. Morbo is an advance scout for an upcoming alien invasion and does not bother to be subtle about it, often expressing his contempt and extreme hatred for mankind during live news broadcasts and commenting frequently on his species' extremely violent invasion plans. He appears to be using his job to gather information about the human race to aid the planned invasion. He is good friends with President Richard Nixon.
Annihilator temporarily dissolved, but Jeff Waters kept the band name going when he, along with drummer Randy Black, recorded and released King of the Kill in 1994. This album was more of a solo album for Waters, as it featured himself performing all instruments and writing most of the album's material apart from playing the drum tracks, which were recorded by Randy Black. Bassist Cam Dixon later joined the band followed by Lou Bujdoso from Meatwagon who went on to tour and perform during the King of the Kill and Refresh the Demon tours. Jeff Waters continued performing lead vocals until 1997.
Following years of line-up changes, Jeff Waters decided to work with a touring-only lineup so he recruited Dave Padden as a permanent vocalist/rhythm guitarist, while Waters recruited touring bassists and drummers. Annihilator's first two albums in this three-man band format as Waters played both bass and guitar, with Padden on vocals and a hired drummer were All for You (2004) and Schizo Deluxe (2005). Mike Mangini rejoined for the former album in 2004 and Tony Chappelle was hired for the latter's recording in 2005. In 2007, Annihilator released their twelfth album Metal.
On a tour in Europe in November 2009, Waters used a prototype of the Epiphone Annihilation-V Flying V, which he has since sold. The new Annihilation-V shape is very similar to the original flying V, but has a smaller body and four cosmetic lines cut into the center of the V as well as a rubberised patch on the lowest edge of the V (to stop the guitar from slipping). It comes in "Annihilator Red" and Pitch black. For amplification, he used the Hughes and Kettner Coreblade head and is now using the EVH 5150III amplifier.
Sepultura's third album, Beneath the Remains, earned them some mainstream appeal as it was released by Roadrunner Records. Testament continued through the late 1980s with The New Order and Practice What You Preach, both albums showing the band's musical growth and gaining Testament nearly the same level of popularity as the "Big Four". Vio-lence and Forbidden, two relative latecomers to the Bay Area thrash metal scene, released their debut albums Eternal Nightmare and Forbidden Evil in 1988. Canadian thrashers Annihilator released their highly technical debut Alice in Hell in 1989, which was praised for its fast riffs and extended guitar solos.
Therefore, the finitely generated injective left A-modules are precisely the modules of the form Homk(P, k) where P is a finitely generated projective right A-module. For symmetric algebras, the duality is particularly well-behaved and projective modules and injective modules coincide. For any Artinian ring, just as for commutative rings, there is a 1-1 correspondence between prime ideals and indecomposable injective modules. The correspondence in this case is perhaps even simpler: a prime ideal is an annihilator of a unique simple module, and the corresponding indecomposable injective module is its injective hull.
Tala appeared on Justice League Unlimited voiced by Juliet Landau. She appears as one of the key members of Project Cadmus. Her role in the government black ops group is never specifically detailed, although it would be best determined that she is responsible for mystical and magical projects like trying to reverse engineer the Annihilator (Hephaestus' living suit of armor that was forged for Ares). While she is portrayed as a project leader, sitting at the big table, she gets trapped in a mirror by the trickery of Felix Faust and is not seen for the rest of the season.
Voivod (or Voïvod) is a Canadian heavy metal band from Jonquière, Quebec (now Saguenay, Quebec). The band's current line-up consists of Denis "Snake" Bélanger (vocals), Daniel "Chewy" Mongrain (guitar), Dominic "Rocky" Laroche (bass) and Michel "Away" Langevin (drums). Their musical style has changed several times since the band's origin in the early 1980s. Starting out as a speed metal band, Voivod have added a mix of progressive metal and thrash metal to create their own unique metal style, and they are credited as one of the "big four" Canadian thrash metal bands, along with Sacrifice, Razor, and Annihilator.
Live at Masters of Rock is an official live video album by the Canadian heavy metal band Annihilator, recorded at the Masters of Rock Festival 2008 in Vizovice, Czech Republic and released in 2009. The concert footage was released on a live DVD and a live CD was originally intended to be included as bonus tracks. The audio recordings, because of record label SPV's insolvency problems, were instead made into a live album. Halfway through the recording some cameras were turned off which resulted in clips from earlier songs having to be put in to fill the gaps.

Two years later, in 1997, the band proceeded to follow the same flow in terms of musical ideals, to the point where they published Headquake, having success again, and at the time the Organization of the Gods of Metal Festival was convinced to include them in the bill. 1998 was the year of a change in style. With the publishing of El Nino the band followed influences such as Metallica, Coroner, and Annihilator. The crowd and the media appreciated very much their change as their albums selling grew and a successful tour with Threshold and Pain Of Salvation came.
Although the ROHF approach does not suffer from spin contamination, it is less commonly available in quantum chemistry computer programs. Given this, several approaches to remove or minimize spin contamination from UHF wave functions have been proposed. The annihilated UHF (AUHF) approach involves the annihilation of first spin contaminant of the density matrix at each step in the self-consistent solution of the Hartree–Fock equations using a state-specific Löwdin annihilator. The resulting wave function, while not completely free of contamination, dramatically improves upon the UHF approach especially in the absence of high order contamination.
Vertical After toured North America promoting their videos and albums including 1999's Pop Goes Death, mixed by Doug Pinnick of King's X, and 2002's Bloody Murdo, co-produced by Stuart Carruthers of Grip Inc. However, she still has amazing hand-to-hand combat skills, along with enhanced physical attributes, which can even become useful against super-powered beings.
Jeff Waters, impressed by his work, dedicated a page on the Annihilator website to his tabs. Drake made a guest appearance on The Berzerker bassist Sam Bean's solo project The Senseless, performing a guest solo on the track "Promise". In December 2008, Drake paid tribute to the late Chuck Schuldiner, by posting a cover of Death's "Voice of the Soul" online, along with a video slideshow of Schuldiner related images. In September 2009, Schmier from Destruction asked Drake to stand in for their guitarist, Mike Sifringer, who broke his fingers forcing Destruction to find a temporary replacement, for their performance at Portugal's Caos Emergente Festival.
As mentioned above, modules over the Weyl algebra correspond to D-modules on affine space. The Bernstein filtration not being available on DX for general varieties X, the definition is generalized to arbitrary affine smooth varieties X by means of order filtration on DX, defined by the order of differential operators. The associated graded ring gr DX is given by regular functions on the cotangent bundle T∗X. The characteristic variety is defined to be the subvariety of the cotangent bundle cut out by the radical of the annihilator of gr M, where again M is equipped with a suitable filtration (with respect to the order filtration on DX).
The developers mentioned that in their telemetry they noticed that players congregate in areas of Paradise City that lend themselves to stunt- driving, and so the idea was to create an entire island to accommodate player desire. Big Surf Island also features new vehicles, which includes the Carson Dust Storm buggy, a car tailor-made for stunts. In addition to the Dust Storm buggy two specially featured cars, the Hunter Olympus "Governor" and the Carson Annihilator Street Rod are also included. The unlockable cars also include toy versions of all four "Legendary Cars" pack vehicles and a special Jansen P12 Diamond awarded once all 500 freeburn challenges were completed.
Testament toured for less than a year to promote Practice What You Preach. They embarked on a one-month U.S. tour in October 1989 with Annihilator and Wrathchild America (who had just released their respective debut albums Alice in Hell and Climbin' the Walls), and played two shows in California with Nuclear Assault and Voivod in December. The second leg of the Practice What You Preach tour began in January 1990, when Testament was touring Europe with Mortal Sin and Xentrix. Following their first visit to Japan that February, Testament embarked on a two-month U.S. tour with Savatage which featured support from Nuclear Assault, Dead Horse, and Dark Angel.
Waters has been cited by many metal musicians worldwide as an influence on their own music. Artists from bands as diverse as 3 Doors Down, Slipknot, Nickelback, Megadeth, Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God, In Flames, Danko Jones, H.I.M., Children Of Bodom, Johannes "Axeman" Losbäck of WOLF Trivium are either influenced by Waters' writing and guitar playing or have revealed themselves as a fan of Annihilator or his guitar playing. Music writer Joel McIver identified Waters as the third best metal guitar player in his 2008 book The 100 Greatest Metal Guitarists. Waters is often compared to Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters, due to being a multi-instrumentalist.
Heafy's vocals had changed from the metalcore scream of the previous albums to clean singing. This new singing style, along with the band's thrash metal music, were criticised as sounding too much like Metallica, who was a major influence on the band. The band supported the album by touring with Iron Maiden and Metallica, appearing on the Black Crusade tour with Machine Head, Arch Enemy, DragonForce and Shadows Fall, as well as headlining a European tour with supporting acts Annihilator and Sanctity and acquiring an opening slot on the Family Values Tour with Korn. Trivium was named the best live band of 2006 at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards.

Iji (centre) crouches above a Komato Annihilator and a Tasen Elite (bottom left) Iji is described by Remar as System Shock 2 in 2D. Players control the titular character, Iji, a human woman who has been enhanced with nanotechnology following the invasion of Earth by an alien species known as the Tasen. Iji must navigate a research station while being guided by her brother Dan, who communicates via the station's loudspeaker system, in order to convince the aliens' leader to retreat from the planet. Though the game's plot is linear, interactions with non-player characters (NPCs) change according to the player's actions, leading to one of multiple endings.
If S and T are commutative R-algebras, then will be a commutative R-algebra as well, with the multiplication map defined by and extended by linearity. In this setting, the tensor product become a fibered coproduct in the category of R-algebras. If M and N are both R-modules over a commutative ring, then their tensor product is again an R-module. If R is a ring, RM is a left R-module, and the commutator :rs − sr of any two elements r and s of R is in the annihilator of M, then we can make M into a right R module by setting :mr = rm.
Feast is the fourteenth album by the Canadian heavy metal band Annihilator, released on August 23, 2013 by UDR in Europe and August 27, 2013 in North America. The cover art of the album features Spanish model and presenter Pilar Rubio.Annihilator - New Album To Feature Cover Model Pilar Rubio The album is the final to feature vocalist Dave Padden, who parted ways with the band at the end of 2014, ending his decade-plus long tenure. The decision came after Padden became fed up with Annihilator's rigorous touring schedule that followed the album's release, leaving him wanting to spend more time with his family.
" According to Dave McClain, drummer for Machine Head, who considers Burr a huge influence, he "brought punk rock drumming into heavy metal". Other drummers like Paul Bostaph (Slayer, Exodus, Testament), Stefan Schwarzmann (Helloween, Krokus), Chris Reifert (Death, Autopsy), Steve Asheim (Deicide), Jan Axel Blomberg (Mayhem), Jason Bittner (Shadows Fall) and Richard Christy (Iced Earth, Death, Charred Walls of the Damned) also cited Burr as an influence. Jeff Waters, guitarist and leader of Annihilator, regards his drumming as an inspiration on the drum parts he writes for his band. Iron Maiden lead singer Bruce Dickinson considered him to be "...the best drummer the band ever had.

The band played a number of concerts as a four-piece before Justin Broadrick left the group to play the drums for local band Head of David. The group attempted to find a new guitarist by asking Shane Embury (ex-Unseen Terror and a fan of the group) to join and giving a trial period to Frank Healy (ex-Annihilator, later of Cerebral Fix and Sacrilege). After Broadrick's departure, Nic Bullen's dissatisfaction with the musical direction of the group led him to leave the group in December 1986 (in order to focus on his studies in English Literature and Philosophy at university), leaving the group without any of its original members.
In 2013, Stoneflex was chosen by Ozzy Osbourne to play as the opening band for Black Sabbath in the Latin American "13" tour, this tour also featured special guest Megadeth. Later, he wrote music for film and television, including the TV series Witchblade. Taylor then began write story ideas and screenplays for television and film, often with his son Bruce, leading to the scripts for theatrical movies such as The Star Chamber and scripts for pilots like Annihilator and the Western-themed movies Kenny Rogers as The Gambler, Part III: The Legend Continues and Wild Horses. In 1985 he developed the science fiction series Otherworld, for which he served as narrator and also executive produced; the series failed to even run a full season. In 1998, he produced and directed his own scripted project, the 1998 television movie Inferno.
For the most part, Burnout Paradise's car collection is all new but there are some vehicles (such as the aforementioned "Custom Coupe Ultimate" and the Custom Roadster from Burnout 2 or the Revenge Racer from Burnout Revenge) that are models from previous Burnout games. Paradise is also the first Burnout game to designate manufacturers and realistic car model names for its vehicles (such as the "Carson Annihilator" or "Nakamura Ikusa GT"). Another thing to note is how many of the cars could be based on their real-life counterparts, especially the vehicles from Burnout Revenge and Burnout Paradise. An example is the "Carson GT Concept" from Paradise, which resembles a fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro.

Bands like Helix, Kick Axe, Brighton Rock, Killer Dwarfs, Annihilator, and Slik Toxik saw growing popularity in the mid 1980s thanks in part to Much Music and MTV playing their videos in regular rotation. Canada's death metal scene has produced artists most of whom are based out of Quebec. Bands like Kataklysm, Cryptopsy, Quo Vadis, Gorguts, Augury, Voivod, Martyr, and Neuraxis have a strong underground following and are signed to major independent metal labels. In the 2000s, Canadian extreme metal has been put on the map by Vancouver band Strapping Young Lad (featuring Devin Townsend), 3 Inches of Blood, Ottawa grindcore quartet Fuck The Facts, Regina band Into Eternity, and progressive metal band Protest the Hero.
Set the World on Fire is the third studio album by Canadian heavy metal band Annihilator, released on August 24, 1993 by Roadrunner and Epic Records. The album received mixed reviews, toning down the speed and thrash elements of Alice in Hell and Never, Neverland in favor of a more radio friendly sound. The title track, "Knight Jumps Queen", and "Brain Dance" are still setlist regulars - becoming fan favourites soon after the release of the album. The album was successful in Europe (charting at No. 79 in the German charts) and Asia (charting at No. 47 in Japan) but failed to break America - leading to the band (along with many others) being dropped from Roadrunner in 1993.
Pantera toured alongside thrash acts Exodus and Suicidal Tendencies. In 1991, Rob Halford performed with the band onstage, which led Pantera (along with Annihilator) to open for Judas Priest on its first show in Europe. They also opened for bands like Sepultura, Fates Warning, Prong, Mind over Four and Morbid Angel, and co- headlined a North American tour with Wrathchild America. The band eventually landed a billing for the Monsters of Rock festival with AC/DC, Mötley Crüe, Metallica and The Black Crowes in September 1991, where they played to a crowd of over 500,000 in celebration of the new freedom of performing Western music in the former Soviet Union shortly before its collapse three months later.
The half man-half lion entity, an annihilator not envisaged in the boon, pounced on Hiranyakashipu at twilight (when it was neither day nor night) as the demon king was furiously admonishing his son Prahlad during one of the torture sessions for his continued devotion to Vishnu. Sitting on the threshold of his palace (neither indoors nor out), Narasimha then put the demon on his lap (neither earth nor space). It was disemboweled using his long sharp claw-like nails (neither animate nor inanimate) as weapon. The mighty asur thus met with his gory end, thereby attaining salvation which he was destined to as per the curse of the quartet of sages Sanaka, Sananda, Sadananda and Sanat Kumara.
At the latter, he encounters trouble, as Arnoid the Annihilator (an Arnold Schwarzenegger-like android terminator) persecutes him for not paying for a whistle acquired in Space Quest II. From information he picks up there and at Monolith Burger, Roger eventually uncovers the sinister activities of a video game company known as ScumSoft, run by the "Pirates of Pestulon". Pestulon, a small moon of the volcanic planet Ortega, is covered in soft, moss-like vegetation, and dotted with twisted tree-like growths throughout. Elmo Pug, the CEO of ScumSoft, has abducted the Two Guys from Andromeda and is forcing them to design awful games. Roger manages to sneak into the supposedly impregnable ScumSoft building and rescue the two programmers.

In an interview with Roadrunner Records, Heafy stated he was influenced by a whole range of music genres. Through each stage in his life, he's listened to all different types of music. As a child, he listened to pop punk and ska punk bands like Blink-182, and Reel Big Fish.
Megadeth's Dave Mustaine caught Sanctity's set at one of these shows and personally invited the band to join his summer metalfest Gigantour. Later that year, Sanctity supported labelmates Trivium on their first headlining tour of the US, and Children of Bodom on their US tour at the end of the year. The band released its debut album Road to Bloodshed on April 24, 2007, following the production and subsequent release of the music video for "Beneath the Machine", also directed by Boutviseth. They supported Trivium on their European tour along with Gojira and Annihilator, and opened for Zakk Wylde's band Black Label Society on the first leg of their spring US tour.
The band performed a series of live dates in Estonia in Autumn 2007 and 2009, and released their debut album We are the Humans in 2009. Hector Zazou's 2010 album Corps Electriques featured Rieflin, as well as KatieJane Garside, Lone Kent and nu-jazz trumpeter Nils Petter Molvær. Rieflin drumming behind R.E.M. on the band's final tour in 2008 Rieflin was a regular contributor to Swans ever since the 1995 album The Great Annihilator, and played an array of instruments on all their studio recordings since the band reformed in 2010 and released My Father Will Guide Me up a Rope to the Sky. Rieflin is listed as an "honorary Swan" on the band's 2012 album The Seer.
Steppenwolf's 1968 single "Born to be Wild" was the first use of the words 'heavy metal' in a song's lyric. In 1970, Woodstock, Ontario based Warpig released their metal music debut, which, although never reaching mainstream success like fellow heavy metal bands Black Sabbath and Blue Cheer, has become a cult favourite within the Doom metal scene. Some of Canada's most successful metal bands opted to change their style from the early 1980s roots metal sound to the growing glam metal style that became mainstream in the late 1980s. Bands like Helix, Kick Axe, Brighton Rock, Killer Dwarfs, Annihilator, and Slik Toxik saw growing popularity in the mid 1980s thanks in part to Much Music and MTV playing their videos in regular rotation.
In 1991, Rob Halford performed with the band onstage, which led Pantera (along with Annihilator) to open for Judas Priest on its first show in Europe. They also opened for other bands like Sepultura, Fates Warning, Prong, Mind over Four, and Morbid Angel, and co-headlined a North American tour with Wrathchild America. The band eventually landed a billing for "Monsters in Moscow" with AC/DC and Metallica in September 1991, where they played to a crowd of over 500,000 in attendance to celebrate the new freedom of performing Western music in the Soviet Union shortly before its downfall three months later. The band was often found at the Dallas club "the Basement", where the band shot the videos for "Cowboys from Hell" and "Psycho Holiday".
The band was founded in late 2001 as a cover band of thrash metal acts like Metallica, Testament, Slayer, Annihilator, Sepultura and Overkill. In 2003 Fabrizio "Zula" Ferzola joined the band as vocalist, and shortly after they began writing songs for a demo, Delirio n°1. In 2008 they opened the second stage at the Evolution Festival in Toscolano-Maderno and entered the Studio73 studios in Ravenna to record their debut album, Profondo Rozzo released one year later through the Canadian label Maple Metal Records owned by John Belrose. In 2010 they opened the Unholy Titans Tour date in Rome (with Deicide, Marduk, Vader and Decapitated) and played at the Gods of Metal, the biggest heavy metal festival in Italy.
In addition, the cell is telepathically empowered and begins to pull the information about Earth from their minds when Professor Common rescues them. After the two have reported, Colonel Jason realizes the value of Polcor as a source of information and sends them back - along with Ralph - to retrieve him from the cell and question him on an uninhabited planet. But Polcor's identity turns out to be a ruse: He is in fact the ruler of the Galactic Weapon Masters on Arrow, and he had developed a horrible weapon - a Sun Annihilator - for a greater cosmic power, the Middle Eye, which had, of course, been refused. In order to make up for the disgrace, Polcor tries to blame mankind for the existence of the weapon.
Gira's disillusionment with their Uni/MCA exploits led to White Light from the Mouth of Infinity (1991), a successful blending of earlier hard rock and later pop styles. Produced by Gira, the album blended acoustic rock, blues and hypnotic guitar noise successfully, resulting in an album more complex than anything they had released in the past. This album was followed by Love of Life (recorded by Martin Bisi in 1992), the EP single Love of Life/Amnesia, taking the group even farther into experimentation, and then The Great Annihilator (1995), considered to be one of the band's most accessible releases, possibly through being their most straightforward. The songwriting style and musical approach, however, would take a more unusual turn the following year.
Vio-lence is an American thrash metal band formed in 1985 in the San Francisco Bay Area. Throughout its existence, they released demo tapes, one EP and three studio albums. Vio-lence is best-known for their association with the 1980s Bay Area thrash metal scene, and often credited as one of the leading lights of the second wave of the genre, along with Pantera, Sepultura, Sacred Reich, Dark Angel, Annihilator and Flotsam and Jetsam as well as their Bay Area counterparts Testament, Death Angel and Forbidden. Their most stable line-up was Phil Demmel and Robb Flynn on guitars, Deen Dell on bass, Perry Strickland on drums and Sean Killian on vocals; this lineup recorded all their studio albums.
Annihilator gained more recognition in the metal community with the release of their debut album, Alice in Hell, in 1989. They embarked on their first world tour, opening up for Onslaught in Europe on their In Search of Sanity tour, and along with Wrathchild America, they supported Testament in the United States and Canada on the latter's Practice What You Preach tour, after which singer Randy Rampage quit the band to retain his seniority at a job on the shipping docks in North Vancouver. Without a singer, Jeff Waters found ex-Omen singer Coburn Pharr and the band released their second album, Never, Neverland, in 1990. The album's sales surpassed Alice in Hell, becoming the band's only album to chart in the UK at No. 48.
Hypno-Disc had so far proved very lucky in the annihilator, however, Hypno-Disc was eliminated in the third round. Although the disc was finally up to speed in this round, just one hit on Arnold A. Terminegger was enough to knock the drive motors out completely, once again. The flywheel was still moving, but the remaining three competitors were given the opportunity to merely press the pit release button and push Hypno-Disc down into the pit of oblivion. After the pit release button was pressed, Pussycat pushed Hypno-Disc down into the pit, eliminating it from the competition, however, Pussycat was pushed in after Hypno-Disc, due to another light nudge from Splinter, although this didn't change the outcome of the battle.
The Thompson submachine gun is an American submachine gun first invented by John T. Thompson in 1918 during World War I and became infamous during the Prohibition era, being a signature weapon of various organized crime syndicates in the United States. It was a common sight in the media of the time, being used by both law enforcement officers and criminals. The Thompson submachine gun was also known informally as the "Tommy Gun", "Street Sweeper" ,"Annihilator", "Chicago Typewriter", "Trench Broom", "Chicago Submachine", "Chicago Piano", "Chicago Style", "Chicago Organ Grinder", "Drum Gun", "the Chopper", "the Tommy Boy" or simply "the Thompson". The Thompson was favored by soldiers, criminals, police, FBI, and civilians alike for its fully automatic fire, while still being relatively lightweight, portable and easy to use.
Raven are an English heavy metal band, formed in 1974 by the Gallagher brothers, bassist and vocalist John and guitarist Mark. They have released fourteen studio albums to date, and had a hit with the single "On and On". Often referred to as "athletic rock", the band gained notoriety as part of the early-to-mid 1980s new wave of British heavy metal scene and is considered to be an influence and inspiration on development of the thrash metal genre, including bands such as "the big four" (Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax), as well as others like Testament, Exodus, Overkill, Kreator, Sodom, Onslaught, Death Angel, Flotsam and Jetsam, Coroner, Annihilator, and Razor. Raven are also notable for headlining Metallica's first-ever national tour in 1983.
In May 2017, Joe Hasselvander suffered a heart attack two days before a string of US/European dates. In order to fulfill these obligations, the Gallagher brothers had a number of drummers to assist. Jimmy Mess did the Chicago show, Mike Heller (Fear Factory, Malignancy) performed on three US dates, Fabio Alessandrini (Annihilator) did the Muskelrock (Sweden) festival, and Dave Chedwick did the 11-date tour of Europe. When it became obvious Joe Hasselvander would not be physically able to play drums for the foreseeable future, the Gallagher brothers invited Heller to play the upcoming Euro festival dates they had booked (Bang Your Head, Leyendes Del Rock, Headbangers Open Air, Metaldays and Alcatraz), as his playing was a perfect fit.

Randy Rampage and Ray Hartmann first worked together on Canadian thrash metal band Annihilator's million selling debut Alice in Hell album, which received critical acclaim and that band toured extensively, especially Europe. Randy split acrimoniously from that band, and Ray left two albums later. The two rejoined Annihilator ten years later for 1999's Criteria for a Black Widow, but again Randy split, and one album later, Ray did as well. In 2005, Guitarist and songwriter Kick of the indie band Vertical After formed Stress Factor 9 with Rampage and Hartmann, for a style meshing thrash metal with more of the punk simplicity and attitude that suited Rampage's roots with D.O.A.. The band was formed and recorded demos with bassist Stuart Carruthers of Grip Inc.
Suicide Society is the fifteenth album by the Canadian heavy metal band Annihilator. It was released on September 18, 2015 by UDR Music, and is the first album to feature guitarist and bandleader Jeff Waters performing lead vocals on all tracks since 1997's Remains, due to the departure of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Dave Padden in December 2014. It also marks the return of bassist Cam Dixon, who toured with the band from 1994 to 1995, as well as the addition of new guitarist Aaron Homma, both of whom are credited with providing backing vocals in the liner notes. On this album, Jeff Waters handled all instrumental work in the studio apart from the drums, played by returning drummer Mike Harshaw.
These malign immaterial entities forever seek to breach the material universe and subject all life within it to foul and debased whims. Awareness and perception of the Chaos Gods and their Daemons serves as the basis of numerous faiths and religions in the setting, both human and alien in origin. Knowing followers of the Chaos Gods, though rare, refer to their faith as the Primordial Truth, or the Primordial Annihilator. Humankind's continuing biological and psycho-spiritual evolution includes the gradual development of widespread Warp-related psychic abilities that will make the species far more susceptible to Chaotic influence; united under the Imperium of Man, the Emperor seeks to protect all of mankind by using faith in the Imperial Truth as a shield.
A music video for "Save My Life" was released on August 11, and parodied the video for "Suicide;Stigma" by The Color Morale. It was filmed at Warped Tour 2015 and featured guest appearances by multiple bands, including We Came as Romans, August Burns Red, Blessthefall, and PVRIS. "Inconceivable Somatic Defecation" by Vermicide Violence (the band's name being a play on deathcore band Suicide Silence) parodies the violent and grotesque lyrics of deathcore and technical death metal bands such as Infant Annihilator and Cattle Decapitation. A music video for the song was released on vocalist Jared Dines' channel (as Alonge jokingly stated he didn't want to associate with the track) on August 26, 2015, acting as a parody of the music video for "Forced Gender Reassignment" by Cattle Decapitation.
The movie takes place as two parallel plots separated by a couple of years: In 1982, Wylie Cooper (Moore) is an engineer developing a targeting system on a tank for the United States Army. In 1984, Murphy is US Army Lt. T.M. Landry, an American tank commander sent to Kuwait to demonstrate the "XM-10 Annihilator", America's latest main battle tank, which is equipped with Cooper's system. Because of the tank's poor design and shoddy construction, Landry and his crew are barely able to control or navigate the XM-10 before it leaves the proving grounds and wanders into a combat zone during Iraq's invasion of Kuwait. Cooper and Landry never directly interact during the film, but the plot shows how the decisions made by Cooper affect Landry's tank.
Jeff Waters has performed lead vocals for three of the band's studio albums and on the songs "Holding On" from 2004's All for You, "Too Far Gone" from the 2005 album Schizo Deluxe, "Operation Annihilation" from 2007's Metal, and "Demon Code" on the 2013 album "Feast". After a couple of weeks of decision sometime in December 2014, Waters made a return to lead vocals for the band on their 2015 album, "Suicide Society" following former bandmate Dave Padden's departure. Padden cited he wasn't at all happy playing in the band over the past five years and the decision to leave was not caused by anyone in the band but by a general discontent with the lifestyle and constant touring. Annihilator has been touring prominently Europe and Asia since 1989.
The great Sheikh, the supporter of religion and annihilator of the works of the corrupt and the wrongdoers, Jamal al-Din Abu-Mansur Hasan, is the son of Sadid al-Din Yusuf, the son of Zayn al- Din `Ali, the son of Muhammad, the son of Mutahhar, known as `Allamah Hilli and `Allamah `ala al-Itlaq. Sheikh `Amili, in (his book of) Tadhkirat al- Mutabahhirin, says: Sheikh `Allamah Jamal al-Din Abu-Mansur, Hasan ibn Yusuf ibn `Ali ibn Mutahhar Hilli, is a pure learned scholar, most well-versed of all scholars, researcher, trustworthy, jurisprudent, traditionalist, theologian, and a dignified man unrivaled in the rational and transmitted science. His virtues cannot be counted. He learnt theology and rational science from Muhaqqiq Hilli and Muhaqqiq Tusi and other sciences from other scholars.
On May 29, 2018, Rings Of Saturn announced the departure of guitarist Miles Dimitri Baker and drummer Aaron Stechauner, who both joined in 2014 prior to the release of Ultu Ulla. They announced the return of guitarist Joel Omans, who had played guitar for the band on Dingir and Lugal Ki En, along with Yo Onityan, formerly of DeGrace. The band also announced that Mike Caputo of Desecrate the Faith would be joining the band to play drums for their upcoming dates on Ragefest. They went on to state that their upcoming release would get back to the band's roots, and that the album would feature guest segments and instrumentals by Charles Caswell of Berried Alive, Yo Onityan, Marco Pitruzzella, and vocalist Dan Watson, of Enterprise Earth and Infant Annihilator.
Also a new wave of Canadian thrash metal bands began to rise up and earned a dedicated following like Anvil, Razor, Voivod, Sacrifice, Sword, Exciter and Annihilator, Canadian metal's biggest selling artist, with sales of close to 2 million units worldwide, with industrial bands Skinny Puppy and Front Line Assembly in the mix, as well as black/death metal band Blasphemy. Canada's most successful rock artists by the late 1980s have worked in a relatively generic, mainstream pop rock style of the day. Some from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, may be ascribed to more specific substyles like Colin James, David Wilcox and Jeff Healey to blues-rock (see Canadian blues). With Stompin' Tom Connors, Great Big Sea and Ashley MacIsaac to folk rock, that saw the start for both styles, a very large following all across Canada.
William Sydney Porter, better known as the short story writer O. Henry, was living in Austin at the time of the murders. Porter coined the term "Servant Girl Annihilators" in a May 10, 1885, letter addressed to his friend Dave Hall and later included in his anthology Rolling Stones: "Town is fearfully dull," wrote Porter, "except for the frequent raids of the Servant Girl Annihilators, who make things lively in the dull hours of the night...." However, no contemporary newspaper or published source referred to the murderer(s) as "The Servant Girl Annihilator". In 2000, Steven Saylor published the novel A Twist at the End, which closely reconstructed the murders and the ensuing trials, with young William Sydney Porter playing a fictional role. The novel was published in the United Kingdom (as Honour the Dead) and has been translated into Portuguese and Hungarian.
Suppose that is a finitely presented morphism of affine schemes, s is a point of S, and M is a finite type OX-module. If n is a natural number, then Gruson and Raynaud define an S-dévissage in dimension n to consist of: # A closed finitely presented subscheme X′ of X containing the closed subscheme defined by the annihilator of M and such that the dimension of is less than or equal to n. # A scheme T and a factorization of the restriction of f to X′ such that is a finite morphism and is a smooth affine morphism with geometrically integral fibers of dimension n. Denote the generic point of by τ and the pushforward of M to T by N. # A free finite type OT-module L and a homomorphism such that is bijective.
While the comics of the first series generally featured the non-continuous adventures of the authors, the second series consists of loosely connected storylines with each new strip generally having some connection to previous episodes – either by following characters through more than one strip, introducing characters with a connection to others already featured or by making tangential references ("The Earthbound Clouds" pictures both the mice of the previous strip, and Kitestring's girlfriend in the next strip, without either impacting on the storyline). Prior to the hiatus, David and Dale were not featured in a Series Two comic. This changed with "I Name Thee Annihilator" in which both characters were featured in a comic similar to the style of those in Series One. It remains to be seen whether or not the theme of interconnected storylines will continue in future comics in Series Two.
In Search of Sanity had a much different sound than previous Onslaught releases, and many hardcore thrash metal fans were disappointed, and this partially contributed to the band's demise. Despite the mixed critical reaction, this is Onslaught's only album to enter the UK charts, peaking at #46, while the cover version of AC/DC's "Let There Be Rock" was the band's only single to chart there, reaching at #50. Onslaught toured for over a year in support of In Search of Sanity, playing with the likes of Annihilator, Xentrix, Slammer, the Crumbsuckers, Horse (not to be confused with the metalcore band from California), Drunken State, Sabbat and Dead On. In early 1990, Steve Grimmett decided to leave the band due to personal reasons and was replaced by Tony O'Hora. The band then set out to write and then record a fourth album.

Sometimes the variables and corresponding parameters in the regression can be logically split into two groups, so that the regression takes form : y = X_1\beta_1 + X_2\beta_2 + \varepsilon, where X1 and X2 have dimensions n×p1, n×p2, and β1, β2 are p1×1 and p2×1 vectors, with . The Frisch–Waugh–Lovell theorem states that in this regression the residuals \hat\varepsilon and the OLS estimate \scriptstyle\hat\beta_2 will be numerically identical to the residuals and the OLS estimate for β2 in the following regression: : M_1y = M_1X_2\beta_2 + \eta\,, where M1 is the annihilator matrix for regressors X1. The theorem can be used to establish a number of theoretical results. For example, having a regression with a constant and another regressor is equivalent to subtracting the means from the dependent variable and the regressor and then running the regression for the de-meaned variables but without the constant term.

The band was formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1983, by lead guitarist Kenny Powell, previously with the band Savage Grace and signed on with Metal Blade in 1984, with whom they released their debut Battle Cry. (It contained "The Axeman", which appeared on the soundtrack for the heavy metal themed 2009 video game Brütal Legend.) In 1985 the second album Warning Of Danger followed, which could easily compare with their debut, and built up Omen's reputation as one of the forefathers of power metal acts. In 1986, they released The Curse, their first release with major label distribution by Capitol Records in the US. In Japan the band climbed to Number 14 in the Burrn! Charts. With new singer Coburn Pharr (who would later leave to join Annihilator) the band released Escape To Nowhere in 1988; although considered a departure from the classic Omen sound, "Thorn in Your Flesh" was their first hit single in the US. In 1996, they signed with new label Massacre Records, and toured Europe with Fates Warning for the first time.
On the outside of his barn, Kellestine painted the logo of the Annihilators, a mailed fist clenching a lightning bolt that resembled the lightning bolt runes of the SS. One biker who knew him said Kellestine "... wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer." Kellestine often annoyed visitors to the Annihilator clubhouse by throwing roofing nails on the parking lot to deter the police from getting too close, which he would forget where he had placed, causing the tires of his guests' vehicles to be punctured. In 1989 at a motorcycle show in London, Kellestine got drunk, assaulted a police officer, and attempted to flee by hijacking a limousine, leading to a car chase down the streets that ended with him crashing the car into the Outlaws' clubhouse and his arrest, an incident that confirmed his "wild man" reputation. In June 1991, Kellestine shot Thomas Roger Harmsworth, a biker with the Outlaws gang, putting four bullets into his body, and was charged with attempted murder with the charges being dropped when Harmsworth refused to testify against him.
Compared to the manpower-intensive warships of the Imperial Navy, the Space Marine Fleet's heavily automated vessels are designed particularly for transport and planetary assault, deploying troops via Drop Pods or teleportation (Space Marine Terminators), while their hangars carry numerous craft including space/atmospheric transports (Thunderhawk Gunships and Stormraven Gunships, both of which are also capable of aerial attack), and atmospheric strike craft (Stormhawk Interceptor, Stormtalon Gunship). Space Marines operate wide range of armoured fighting vehicles, including armoured fighting vehicles (Predator Destructor and Annihilator, Vindicator, Whirlwind) and transports (Rhino, Razorback), most of which emphasis mobility over armour protection (in contrast to the Imperial Guard), although the Marines' Land Raider tank/transport is among the Imperium's best-protected of that type due to its thick all-around armor. Fast attack and recon elements utilise motorbikes and land speeders. A Chapter's main headquarters is its "Fortress- Monastery" which is a citadel located on their homeworld, although some Chapters are fleet-based as they are headquartered on a battle barge instead of a planet.
By 1998, the band changed their style into a blend of Thrash, Heavy and Groove Metal infused with Middle Eastern and Levantine folk music vibes, a nod to the band's origins and influences, coming from a country that straddles eastern and western civilizations on the south-eastern coast of the Mediterranean and with members inspired by Metallica, Testament, Overkill, Annihilator, Onslaught, Slayer and Iron Maiden, just to name a few, along with oriental music icons such as Fairouz, Sabah and Marcel Khalife. Winning the Lebanese Bands Competition in 1997, Blaakyum released its first single, "Am I Black", in 1998, at the height of the anti-Metal witch hunt conducted by the Lebanese religious and political authorities, who considered anyone affiliated with the scene a national threat, and during which the band’s founder and frontman, Bassem Deaibess, was detained and jailed simply for being a Heavy Metal musician and fan. Due to Lebanon's dire economic conditions and a mixture of personal and health problems that hit the band's members, Blaakyum was forced to split in 2001. Deaibess continued to perform with other bands.

Duane had been with the band Centerfold but, when it lost its funding, he left the music scene to pursue a career in professional cycling. He returned to music nearly a decade later after joining up with Wade Morissette,Band History(brother of Alanis Morissette), to play acoustic performances. During this time, Tim Plommer, previously known for soft rock, enjoyed success by co-founding a band called Anthill which had the radio single Child of Ambition. In 2007, the group came together as 22nd Century. Rob Lulic (of Rymes with Orange fame) briefly played with the band but left before the recording of the first CD. Duane continued playing part-time for Punk-Metal band Stress Factor 9 which included former Annihilator drummer Ray Harttman, and D.O.A. bass player/founder Randy Rampage. 22nd Century made its first trip to California in late 2008, playing in San Francisco. In 2009, the band released a six-song EP entitled The Twenty Second Century, produced by John Webster. By December 2009, the single 509 had hit No. 1 on the Somojo UK Indy charts and stayed in the top 5 for several weeks.
