The 1e CCP/SAS was created in 1941 in Scotland. From 1942 to 1944, this company was engaged in Crete, Libya, Tunisia, Brittany, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

In the position of president and chief executive he oversaw the expansion of his air company Mediterranean and Northern European networks and the implementation of regular trade links between the mother country and the colonies in the Horn of Africa and the African continent in general. In 1938, along with the commander Carlo Tonini, he made a Cant Z.506 double crossing of the Atlantic Ocean in view of the launch of regular lines with Latin America. As part of the project sent experts to Salt Island, in the archipelago of Cape Verde, to study the possibility of installing an intermediate stop, and Buenos Aires to check the convenience of using the flights of Corporaciòn Sul Americana de Servicios Aereos as a link between the hinterland of Argentine and neighboring countries with the Italian Atlantic line.

Angelucci and Matricardi 1978, p. 195. under licence. The Z.506A entered service with the Ala Littoria air company flying around the Mediterranean. While flown mostly by Mario Stoppani, the Z.506A set a number of altitude, speed and distance records for its class between 1936 and 1938, including speeds of 308.25 km/h (191.539 mph) over 5000 km (3,107 miles) and 319.78 km/h (198.7 mph) over 2000 km (1,243 miles), and 322.06 km/h (200.118 mph) over 1000 km (621 miles) . It subsequently flew 5383.6 km (3,345.225 miles) in a closed circuit. It carried a load of 2000 kg (4,409 lb) to 7810 m (25,623 ft) and 5000 kg (11,023 lb) to 6917 m (22,693 ft). A military version appeared after 15 civil aeroplanes had entered service with Ala Littoria. It was developed as the Z.506B.

The airline was established and started operations in 1996 as a joint-stock air company using a Tupolev Tu-134A. In 1995 Aurela Airlines became the first private aviation company in Lithuania. In 1996 the company acquired a VIP configured aircraft, a TU-134A for charter flights. In 2001 an eight-seater business class plane, Hawker HS-125-700, was purchased for VIP flights. Further demand on the market for chartered flights allowed the Company to take a loan on a newer and more economical YAK-42D containing 120 seats. In 2003 as the number of charter flights increased, the Company rented out another YAK-42D. In 2004 one YAK-42D was replaced with a more advanced and higher volume Boeing 737-300. The first flight of this plane coincided with Lithuania's membership in the European Community.

Orlov was detailed to the Third Air Company to found and command the 7th Aviatsionniy Ostryad Istrebitelei (7th Fighter Aviation Detachment). On 18 March 1916, dedicated fighter units such as the 7th AOI were established by Order No. 300 of the Imperial Russian Army's Supreme Commander in Chief. On 12 April, the new unit received three two-seater Sikorsky S-16 fighters, with their trio of Lewis guns arriving two days later. Some Nieuport 9 and Nieuport 10 two-seater fighters arrived during April, as did Moska-Bystritsky MBbis serial number 2. Orlov made the new unit's first operational flight on 28 April. Orlov scored his first two confirmed aerial victories in June 1916. On the 8th, he closed to 35 meters before shooting the enemy observer in the chest and downing the Austro-Hungarian craft. On the 25th, on his tenth sortie for the day, Orlov and Vasili Yanchenko wounded the aircrew with close-range fire and drove them and their aircraft down into captivity.

Navoi International Airport is an airport of entry in Navoi, Uzbekistan. It is named after Ali-Shir Nava'i. Navoi Airport was opened in 1962 and became the Uzbekistan Airways’ when the national air company was established on 28 January 1992 by the Decree of the President of Republic of Uzbekistan. In 2007, Navoi Airport began capacity enhancement and airfield improvement projects, implementing complete renovation of runway and taxiways, installation of modern lighting system and construction of new air control tower and other facilities. In 2009, Korean Air Cargo took over the management of the airport and, under the 10-year development plan, further accelerated the modernization programme. Construction of the largest air cargo terminal in Central Asia that can handle 100,000 tonnes of cargo annually using latest equipment has been recently completed and inaugurated on 12 August 2010. The freighter apron has also been constructed to accommodate 5 B747-400 planes and 4 additional fuel tanks were built, which can supply a great deal of aviation fuel all together and fill up more than 25 B747-400 airplanes. Korean Air inaugurated the 1st cargo flight from Navoi in August 2008 and by increasing the frequency it now operates 12 weekly B747-400F flights to Incheon, Brussels and Milan.
